So I came to Cava for the first time. Naila and Daisy (were their names) did an amazing Job at not making me feel pressured or rushed. I was coming with expectation of cava being a healthier chipotle, but CAVA is in its own category. Very refreshing, fresh, light, and FLAVORFUL. This was also my first time having hummus. The food was hot, and even the presentation of how she put everything into the bowl was amazing. Thank you to the restaurant staff and thank you for a great experience. CAVA = 🐐 Simply put! It's refreshing to have a local place that has healthy options. I'm basically in here daily, and the staff reminds me of that ;-)) The staff is friendly, always smiling, and they add to the great atmosphere. Very conveniently located Cava in Waco! Despite being busy most of the time, the line moves quick! Gregory always does such a great job keeping keeping things moving! The order pickup window is also a great feature! This has become a staple when visiting Waco/Baylor!

I just found out about this place maybe 2 weeks ago and I am obsessed. It is an addiction. The only thing better than the food is Gregory's service. This man's customer service puts Chick-fil-A to shame and I appreciate his pension for quality control. If he doesn't feel the ingredients are up to par, he does not hesitate to grab a new insert from the fridge. That's something that I'm not used to, but I'm definitely appreciative of. This review would have received 5 stars all around if it would have not been for the cashier or bowl preparer. He was rude and passive aggressive and made the whole experience less than what I was expecting. I don't think I will be back. The food is good but his lack of customer service skill were horrible and ruined my first experience with Cava. If it helps to find out who the cashier was, he checked me out at 3:09 p.m. on November 8, 2025. Unpleasant experience, ruined everything.

We consistently have issues at this location. Pick up takes longer than just waiting in line and ordering. Today we received all of our meals with the sauce for a side but no side (pita chips… the best part of the whole meal). This isn’t the first time this has happened. All that said, the food is really good (if/when you get it).

I love CAVA! I order it all over the US as I travel for my job. Today I ordered a pickup order to go after a long day of working outside. Was hoping to use the restroom to wash my hands before eating, as is just normal hygiene, but no, restrooms are locked with a code and you have to stand in a long line to get the code because they don’t print it on the receipt. Since the point of ordering pickup was to skip the line, this was very unfortunate. (I included photos for the people who will say that restrooms are for paying customers only. I was a paying customer.)

I Love CAVA, that’s the reason i order from there multiple times. Since last 2 times i have been facing issues. First time, the beans were fully uncooked. When i called them: no refund was given / no replacement was provided. Just one thing: Okay. Will take of it next time something like that. Now, in my recent order which i ordered yesterday, I ordered customized falafel crunch with multiple and extra toppings, extra spreads (paid extra for extra spreads). What i received was a bowl half empty and side dressings kept in there. I mean, with the things I ordered it should be full (this is how i get it everytime). Really disappointed with the quantity i got this time and uncooked beans which i got the second last time i ordered.

My experience at CAVA was mixed. The food itself was okay, but I think I would have enjoyed it much more if I had known exactly what I was ordering. I’m a somewhat picky eater and not very familiar with this type of food, so as a first-time customer, I really needed guidance. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor. While going through the line, I asked the employee helping me to explain the sauces they offered. Instead of answering, she rudely said, “It’s right there, you can read it.” That response alone felt dismissive and unwelcoming, especially to someone new to the menu. To make matters worse, in the middle of helping me, another coworker came over and the two of them started talking to each other for a good minute, completely ignoring me ,as if I wasn’t even there. I found it very unprofessional to stop serving a paying customer just to chat with a coworker. After ordering, I went to the bathroom, which was honestly disgusting. It was dirty, smelled terrible, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. I didn’t even want to sit down. For the area this location is in, the cleanliness should be much better. Overall, while the food might have potential, the poor customer service and unsanitary restroom really ruined the experience. As a new customer, I was hoping for recommendations and guidance, but the attitude of the staff made me not want to ask any more questions.
