My husband and I were looking for dinner while we were on S Colony Road, so we decided to take a chance on Taqueria Mexico. I’m so glad that we did! We wanted something quick and easy while still supporting local, and this was perfect. We dined in and the tacos were at our table in under 5 minutes. They brought over homemade sauces too! Delicious quesadilla and we loved the variety of tacos we picked out. Double shelled too so you know it’s legit! Possibly the best and most authentic tacos in Wallingford. No frills but 10/10 food and service!

I've been wanting to come here and it was all I hoped for. I ordered three tacos. A barbacoa, carne asada and cabeza. Each one was a perfect example of their type. The salsas were a perfect complement. And I was excited to see genuine handmade molcajete in different sizes available, each cured and ready for use. Definitely recommend!

They are so welcoming and gentle. I was too hungry and went to the restaurant as it was near the highway. I was so confused because I never tasted that Mexican food. They answered my 1000 questions and later on we ate only one item named Tacos of $5. But truly that was good. They served so well with a smile. I am very happy and wish people would visit the place for Mexican food.

Taqueria Mexico always comes through. The tacos are loaded with flavor—especially the al pastor—and the prices are super reasonable for how much food you get. The beef tongue burrito is next-level good. Super tender, perfectly seasoned, and massive. You can tell everything is made fresh, and the salsas have that real homemade kick. The staff is chill and always gets the food out quick. Definitely one of my favorite go-to spots for Mexican food.

This is the classic authentic restaurant. No frills, still, a nice presentation. Good fresh inexpensive ala carte Mexican food. Great customers, made me feel welcome.

I stopped in here for dinner while in the area with my husband and seeing the amazing reviews online. You would drive by and not necessarily notice it, but I highly recommend stopping in! We were able to easily park in the lot right outside and walk in to place an order. The options were great and there were many different meat options to try out. I got 3 tacos and my husband got a burrito. All fantastic and extremely reasonably priced. The meat was well cooked, well seasoned, and the folks inside quick to serve. The food was so good we even took a burrito to go!

My coworkers and I usually stop in here for lunch. Even though they're usually crazy busy, the food comes out very quickly. I love this place, the food is authentic, and the service is good. I usually get the tacos and the tostada, but really everything here is great.

Some of the best authentic tacos you will ever find!! Ive been looking for tacos de buche for years and im so happy I found them here! I cant wait to go again!

Best street tacos in town, hands down! Small mom and pop, hole in the wall, taco spot. Their barbacoa cannot be beat! Speed of service is impeccable, reasonable pricing, and so delicious!
