Decent rotating (hah) beer selection. Very cool atmosphere, plenty of seating. Also: games! Pool, darts, Foosball, and "corn-hole".
Awesome, welcome to the neighborhood. Pineapple sour was the bomb. Good bar games, nice open space. Nice crowd and bartender.
A great place to hang out. You can buy Pliny bottles here too ($6) along with other great beers in the can or bottles.
Great beer selection and free game room. A good partnership with Pinky's to substitute for the absence of a kitchen.
Great selection of beers on tap. It's a great place to hang out after work to destress for the day.
We love this place. Relaxed atmosphere and good beer. Our family hangout spot
Excellent beers and service + great atmosphere. Plus SF Giants kicked the a's in the teeth that series! 🤪🤣🤣
Great outdoor space and very dog-friendly! This is our go-to place for drinks in Walnut Creek.
Great rotating tap list of beers, stouts and sours. Wednesday is a fun trivia pursuit night.
Nice local brewery. I liked the selection and you can watch sports. no food though.
Great beer selection. Prices aren’t too high. Can have pizza delivered here.
1st timer and it was amazing not much of a beer guy.. But they helped me find the perfect beer will be going back!!
One of the best taprooms in the area. Super friendly staff, great beer!
Yup. Love this place. And the beer selection for cans is one of the best in the east bay.
Great place for some beers even with social distance rules lots of choices, by the can or tap.
Always great beers and the staff lately is awesome. Highly recommend on Thursday
Great selection of beer, friendly service and video games!! Awesome time!💜💜🦎🐍🐢
Love this place. Great selection of beers on tap as well as a to go fridge. Always a good crowd of people that enjoy conversating instead of being glued to their phones!
One of Walnut Creeks newest hot spots. They have a lot of really good beer on tap and plenty of friendly faces. Don't delay and enjoy!
Cool place, outdoor seating and an open area inside. Great selection of beers on tap as well as cans to go. Slightly pricey, but hey it's Walnut Creek!
Great place for a beer. Love the space. Wish parking could be better but ah well. Great priced beer, wonderful selection, will be coming back for sure. Thanks for the great conversation Max!
Great bar tenders, great selection of beers that ROTATE out every so often so the choices are always fresh and new. Definitely a place I frequent.
They bring in food from outside - takes a bit but the staff and beers are great
Really nice little place. Not out of the way, but off the beaten track. Excellent beer selection, child and dog friendly. I think I'll go here a lot.
Owners and bar staff were friendly and they have a great rotating selection of beers from local and out of state breweries. Also they have free delivery for Pinky’s pizza which is stellar!
Great place. Modern, industrial design. Very knowledgeable and nice staff. Great selection of beer. Will definitely bring going back.
Nice spot just to kick back and relax. Have a beer with friend or a group. They have plenty of space and games you can play. Definitely a chill laid back spot to go.
This is a great place to go and try some great beers from local micro breweries! Fun and inviting atmosphere that is great for a good social drink with friends.
A great taproom with drafts and cans to choose from. Occasional bands, local food trucks and other small biz Saturday guests (today was Jazy’s Ice Cream). Great atmosand beertenders who know beer.
Great local brew selection 🍺Food truck was amazing! 🌭Best French Fires 🍟
Small bar with the bunch of good local beers variety, industrial style is nothing new but still works well, and east to maintain i guess:))
Amazing beers, my absolute favorite was number 11 Japanese rice lager. They allow you to bring outside food in. Amazing staff, too.
Super cool tap room in Walnut creek. Amazing selection of local bay area beers and they fill growlers!!!! Staff are also super awesome and incredibly friendly!
Great new spot in Walnut Creek. Good local selections for the beer, great decor, and a game room too! Plenty of seating, TVs for games, and a friendly staff.
Rotator is always a great experience. The hardest part is choosing between the long list of great selections of draft. The friendly service and ability to buy single cans is appreciated.
Great staff, they are always knowledgeable and friendly. They also have a good list of beers on tap and for purchase consistently.
Nice little tap room with games and great beers. The upstairs looked really relaxing and there were a few really friendly pups there as well.
Great beer selection. Paper menu for draft and to go beers with prices is great. Friendly staff and fair prices
One of my favorite chill bars in Walnut Creek. There’s an upstairs area where you can chill or read!
Loved the overall atmosphere here. Would definitely recommend!
Super cool place for happy hour. Rotating local beers and good grub via visiting food trucks/restaurants. Pinky's pizza will do delivery here too! Parking is all paid on the street.
Friendly staff, good selection of beers, good prices, comfortable atmosphere. I go for trivia on Wednesday evenings when I'm in town. Parking is easy because this place is not downtown (but is worth getting yourself to). My only complaint would be not enough restrooms, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this place. They don't serve food but a good pizza place is nearby and delivers. On trivia nights (and maybe other times) they have a food truck (not always the same one, so they offer variety). Cheers!
Cheers to Rotator Taproom! This place is my second home and for good reason. From the amazing owners to the friendly customers, it's all about warmth and community. The owners are not just fantastic people, they're friends. The staff? Knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help you find your perfect brew. They've got it all - sours, West Coast IPAs, gluten-free options, and everything in between. Supporting local breweries? Big tick! Their can fridge is a treasure trove - mix and match, and sometimes you'll stumble upon unique finds you won't get anywhere else. Events here are a blast, with food trucks and the option to order a delicious pizza from Pinky's right to your seat. Next time you're in Walnut Creek, make sure Rotator Taproom is your first stop. You won't regret it!
Great vibe and huge selection of local beers on tap! I went there for a Geeks Who Drink trivia night and had a blast. They also had a pop-up outside that was doing smashburgers that smelled terrific!
Ryan and his staff hosted our group of 20 this week for a wonderful evening event! We scheduled from afar, and when we showed up, the staff and hospitality was great! Nice selection of beers and snacks; then the Beer School event was awesome! Thanks!!
One of my favorite local tap rooms. Fun space with lots of room. Incredible staff and tap list. To go options are awesome as well. Dog friendly and usually have outstanding food vendors.
We love going to Rotator Taproom! They always have so many amazing beers on tap and available for purchase. I have described what type of beer I am in the mood for and they have poured me beers that are spot-on. Great beers, nice workers AND dog friendly...What more could you ask for!
Great selection of local (and not local) beers on tap! Dog friendly setting with TVs and plenty of airy indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly service and they're happy to let you taste! Definitely recommend!
Easily the best taproom in the 925! Their selection is top notch plus it's a really kick back vibe! Only knock is parking, might be best to just ride a bike if you're local.
Great neighborhood beer on tap. Lots of variety.
Pretty cool rotating tap bar. Little tucked away in walnut creek so its never crazy busy n the brews are always great. You can even have pinkies delivered there, they have menus onsite n such for you.
The bartenders are always friendly and have great recommendations. Ask for a recommendation if you can't choose from their great list of local taps. Come back for more because obviously they always rotate their taps.
A+ beer spread on tap and canned to-go options, pet friendly, and nearby restaurants deliver onsite. The couple times I’ve gone for NFL Sunday Ticket and New Year’s Day college playoff games have been 10/10. The wifey and I love trying out different restaurants, bars, and breweries around the WC area for Sunday Funday Football, and I wish we came across this place sooner. Laid back locals feel, multiple large 4K TV’s, and they played game audio on great speakers. Ample seating throughout and indoor heating felt cozy amidst these recent brisk winter days. Last time out, we brought our French Bulldog pup to socialize her and we ended up having a super friendly conversation with one of the owners and his wife. Looking forward to our next time out
We enjoyed our beers (and a cider) and the food from the food truck. I have never seen a chicken nugget vending machine before, so it was interesting that they had that. They also had pita chips with hummus. We had food truck food though. They had a good schedule of food trucks posted on their Web site under events. The service at the bar was friendly, with lots of choice of drinks. Parking was easy (street parking with meters).
Played a bit of bingo (Thursday nights I believe) and had some great beer. Awesome local selection of craft beers and the food truck was great as well.
Great staff. Great rotation of beers. Very fair and equitable with different NFL teams on which is greatly appreciated.
Sit down and talk to people who enjoy beer. Life doesn't get better and Rotator Taproom is full of great people in an rather industrial environment that feels like a being in a small mountain town. Bring your dog.
Best beer spot in Walnut Creek, and it's not even close. Only thing that kinda sucks is parking (paid, meters on street). Excellent service and always-rotating selection; highly recommend.
Great Selection of beers. Various activities are offered such as an old school arcade game, darts, BP, and pool. Bartender was super friendly and helped my group find our perfect beer(s) for the night. Will be going back again soon for sure.

Love coming here for art night and trivia! Love getting to try new beers!

Awesome spot for an amazing selection of brews you might not find at other locations. The food trucks they have on rotation will definitely satisfy. Drew and Hannah are awesome and make great recommendations if you're not sure what you are in the mood for and are extremely knowledgeable, which goes for all the the staff there. Everyone there is very helpful and knowledgeable and helpful and just a great atmosphere. Very comfortable walking in there
Rotator Taproom is the closest thing we have to Ted Danson and Cheers on the West Coast (pun intended). Their kegs pour steadily, therefore the beer is always fresh. Let’s be honest, though… You can pretty much go anywhere these days if you know how to read a map and enjoy delicious beer. What sets Rotator aside from the rest - in the best category alone - is the people. They’re the ones who make the Taproom so darn special. From the Owners > Employees > Customers > Food Truck Vendors > the list continues… you’ll always have a great experience. Trust me. For any other information, call me. If you don’t have my number, sorry.
Great place to hang with friends. They always have quality draft and to go options.
If you're looking for relaxed local vibe. solid beer selection, not big on ambiance..this is the place. Chill. Always able to find street parking. Beer selection changes with large electronic menu of the selections. Bartenders fine with samples and offering suggestions. Trivia night there is fun and easy spot to watch games although priority is on beer not tvs. They have to-go fridge with nice little selection. Food depends on who has the food truck out front and is typically good
Still my favorite spot to grab a great beer and watch a game. Great service and awesome local beer selection. Definitely recommend!
Best beer and beef jerky in the world 🌍🤤
Nice small venue brewery with open front and outside tables. Great selection of craft beer. I had 4.2 and a 4.8 lighter brew lager. My son had a heavier style beer. About 20 different beers to choose from. Great service with nice friendly servers. Cool little place.

Great place to watch sports games. They have food trucks often now... It has a brewery vibe.
Nice place. No root beer on draught for us non drinkers. Order food from Pinky's and they deliver.
Fun spot! Great beer selection and there was also a food truck outside.
Very cool little taproom, very laid-back and pleasant hang out spot. I need to go back on a Wednesday for trivia!
Didn't know this place was here and was surprised by the beer selection. Lack food which I was looking for and that the other reviews up-played a little from the photos.
Great selection and awesome guys working the bar. Great new beer bar in Walnut Creek
it's a very interesting place that's in the former car repair shop. Just don't expect any national brands of beer
The best thing about this place is they let you bring your dog. It's adorable! Good beer selection but that's not hard. The off the beaten track warehouse is a chill vibe. Not fake cool like most WC things.
Rotator Taproom is a great place to meet friends for a beer. They have a good selection of local brews and a casual atmosphere. Their roll up wall is wonderful in summer but a bit chilly in winter, so bring your coats. They have a front room with pool, darts, and foosball which is always appreciated. You can also order pizza from Pinky's and they'll deliver it to you in no time. Overall, I'd recommend it.
It's really in the middle of nowhere and that's good. Beer selection is good. The mandatory 10 dollar food truck coupon is the only sore point. Retro Club round the corner does not force a 10 dollar food truck coupon but just enforces that you buy something from the food truck.
Great spot for taste beers, good selection. Usually not too crowded and there's often a place to sit which is nice. Also not too loud if you're looking to drink and have a conversation.
Rotator Tap Room has a nice relaxed atmosphere with a averiety of seating i.e. upstairs, downstairs, outside, bar stools, cushioned chairs and a few couches, a decent selection of beer and a knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately, a 16oz beer is $9 and parking is a pain since most of the available parking is metered and there are only a few free spots in front of the tap room.
Solid beer lineup and laid-back vibe. Good selection of beers with a standout hazy IPA. The taproom has both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice plus. Service was good, and the beers were even better
Great selection of brews, the lady bartenders at night is a but strange, seems like she is too busy trying to get attention that realizing she should have called last call and allowed the patrons to get their last orders in

Great beer selection but playing super emo downtrodden music when I went. Not cool emo like upbeat punk, like actual emo like why do I feel so sad? Everyone was just starting sadly into their beer. They have a fried chicken vending machine which is so sick tho. Fix the music and woulda got 5 stars but as it was had to go somewhere else before I became clinically depressed or fell asleep into my beer.

Fun place with life band playing outside over the weekend. Place has a wide selection of beers and snacks to make your evening pleasant. Although missed my hefeweizen so there is a need! to come back for verification to bring up the rating. Pricewise a bit on the higher side, however averaging same across Walnut Creek. Two levels of indoor seating with outside patio and big parking lot party zone over the weekend.
Good beer selection, a bit slow on service when there wasn't a large crowd

Good continually "rotating" beer list. The staff is not very knowledgeable or friendly.
Attended their 1 year anniversary event on my first visit to this spot. Service was slow. Definitely needed more people behind the bar for an event like this - they were not prepared. The best part of my experience were the tacos they had catered in. I’ll be back when the tacos are!
Went to the Catalina beer mixer event for SF beer week and seemed dead with nothing going on just a normal day at the taproom seemed misleading. The male server was rude with attitude and no help. The guest beers we're good but wouldn't go back again.
The place is okay, but you now have to buy $5 extrem pizza. They wont let you get Pinky's $10 anymore or the bag of chips. I understand with COVID that you must do food, but I would of stayed and bought beer if I could of got Pinky's. In response to rotator response: We where told no matter what we had to buy the $5 one that there was no other option. Was your staff wrong?
Won’t be going back to this place. Invited a group of friends to join me after work last week and when we arrived at opening time nobody was there and the doors were locked. There was no sign or notice they would be opening late. Waited 30 minutes then left. Meh. Can’t even open on time and don’t care about notifying customers. Hard pass.
This place is a trap! There is a bartender there named Jake that has a girlfriend that sits at the bar and they try to pull a con together to make you buy her drinks, and if you don’t they act rude and try to kick you out. Also, he is Extremely Anti-LGBTQ friendly and used some very hurtful and hateful slurs at me! Stay away from this awful place!
Several of us went to see my friends in Lumberyard play at their anniversary celebration a few weeks ago. There were probably 30+ people waiting to order something from the bar at any given time from the two people working there that night. I spent more time waiting for service the two times I ordered than I did watching the band. Around 45 minutes waiting each time. Absolutely ridiculous. People were getting really frustrated with the slow service. I think that their electronic ordering system on tablets is part of the problem. Why so understaffed and ill prepared at a planned event with a popular band? They probably could have doubled or tripled their sales that night if they had their act together. Bizarre! Update: My friends in Lumberyard played there again so I went with an open mind and gave Rotator another chance. I’m not really a beer person so later in the evening I went in and picked out a can of seltzer out of their fridge and took it to the bar. This time there’s no line at all. I’m the only one waiting for service. The guy behind the bar, who seemed like he might be intoxicated, was chit-chatting with some other people and took his time before coming over and offering to help me. My friends are playing and I just want to back outside. Bar guy: Is that all you want? Me: That’s it. Bar guy: That’ll be $7. Me: Here you go, can I get a cup of ice? Bar guy: We don’t have ice. Me: Really? No ice? Bar guy: Nope. Me: Then I don’t want it. I push back the unopened can. Bar guy: F**k you! Me: Seriously? Bar guy: Yeah, take your money. Me: I’m going to quote you on that. Bar guy: Fine, do that. I took my money and left. I’m posting another photo. It’s the guy in the red hat. Strike two Rotator Taproom. Unbelievable! Hard to believe you’re still in business.
