Avenue Grill

I had a great time at this restaurant, and I hope to come back. The chicken paillard was great, and our waitress, Fifi, was also really kind. Fifi was fast, friendly, and checked on us throughout our experience. She also went out of her way to get us cereal even though it was past breakfast time.

We ate breakfast here throughout our stay. They offer a reasonably priced buffet with an omelette station or you can order off the menu. Hosts & waitresses were very friendly, service was good. Would return next time we are in town.

We just wanted a nice place to sit and have a drink to kill some time so we stopped in here. It may not be much to look at and some of the decor and furnishing may be a bit out of date but it is a nice warm spot to grab a beer or glass of wine. We decided to order up some corn bread and what a unique presentation. Reality absolutely superceded our expectations when we were presented with a slice of bread which was perfectly soft and crispy, adequelately sweet, and paired with a portion of cranberry sauce and smoked ham. Very satisfying! And oh by the way, the corn bread as well as our drinks came out moments after we ordered Once I saw this bar was rated so low on here I realized I needed to share our experience. Great work Avenue Grill!

A+ plus! Soup, mushroom salad and crab cakes were top notch. Great plate presentation. Jaime, my server was personable, attentive and efficient. Would return in a heartbeat.

Basic Americana food (burgers sandwiches and spaghetti —think Applebees fare)…they got us in and out within half an hour, so that was excellent! I’d go back :)

Great speedy service by the staff! My steak was perfect and the steak fries were the best. The the home made strawberry sorbet, yum!

VERY good food. Prices are about what I would expect for a restaurant inside an upscale hotel. Desserts are very well prepared. Staff is very respectful.

We had a good breakfast at Avenue Grill. The portions are generous, and the prices are quite reasonable, making for good value. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed meal. While the menu might seem a little limited, the options available are all well-prepared. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a good experience.

Lots of great food. The buffet eggs were kind of runny. The omelet station is really great!

Just lovely had a wonderful lunch date with my two and six year old kids. Loved that it wasn't crowded and we were able to dine, talk and play

We had a very good meal and our waitress was incredibly nice. The clam chowder was excellent and the salmon was cooked perfectly.

Food is great, steak frites was everything. If they get better / modern decor / furniture & ambiance, it would be booked and busy. Oh and more attentive staff, I shouldn’t be only seeing a smile or forms of pleasantry when I’m about to pay….. end to end good service pls, thanks. Otherwise great place to get your bellly full

A Chef and regular traveler review... Go if you like: nice atmosphere and friendly, nice people. Avoid if you do not like: VERY, and I do mean very, LIMITED MENU and the limited offerings are presented as a little to hard to be unique or taking something traditional and adding ingredients that are not normal for the sake of being "unique". Prices vs. Portion: salads very good. Sandwiches a little below expectations Food quality: excellent but again limited menu hurts overall review. I selected one of only two things I would order off of what was offered Overall: I would not go again based on limited menu but the food quality was very good.

Food was incredible. Had the salmon. Unfortunately the waiter was incredibly unresponsive and on his personal mobile the entire time. There were virtually no other customers and it took 20 minutes to cash out.

The food was great, but it was understaffed and the service was extremely slow. We received our dinner fairly quickly but once it came to dessert and our check it felt like forever.

Understaffed. Waitress didn't check on our table even though she walked pass us several times , had to ask busboy for water, For being a 4 star hotel the food isn't anything to write home about. No tips from me.

Waited with my girlfriend for 45 minutes waiting on a cheese burger and a hummus flatbread. Did not see our waitress for the entire time after drinks and making the order. Only 10 minutes after I asked where our food was to a random employee did a cook bring our food out hot and fresh. Don't bother, I'm making this review while sitting at the table and the employees are yelling about a customer right behind me. Edit: After voicing my concerns with the manager, I will amend this to 2 stars, we were asked if we would like dessert but we had to leave in order to catch a train. The manager was honestly shocked about mostly everything except the food. Hopefully the dining experience improves in the near future.

Unfortunately they took a reservation for us via opentable for a quick bite before a 7 pm show at Warner Theater but was closed so we have no idea about their food but mark them down for making the reservation. And nobody called us to indicate they were closing but the Marriott front desk indicated they were closed Sunday evenings.

Just left the restaurant... our waitress Helen was great... BUT FOOD was soooo average or less than that. The website menu is so much different than the the new menu.....we should have left after our drinks but stay because Helen was sweet... not good Jacque Norris

Food was excellent. Had to wait much too long. Took 45-60 minutes from time we sat down until food came. No excuse for that. No apology offered.

Reviews warned service here horrible but I had little choice. 40 minutes later and no food, waitress tells me there was a miscommunication and order never went through

Your better off going yourself they treat you bad if you have a table of 6 or more

Poor service, no accommodation.

I would not waste my time or money to go here again. When we sat down, my utensils were dirty, the napkin still had food on it & the coffee cup had lip stick on it. The service was extremely slow. The carpet & decor need to be cleaned or updated. Everything is just worn out. You’ll spend too much money for what you get. Go up to the Corner Bakery Cafe. It’s clean & not as expensive. You can get several different egg dishes if that’s what you’re looking for & the coffee is good.

My wife and I got free continental breakfast due to our Marriott premium status. My kids ordered off the menu (full price) but also finished my wife’s leftover cereal. They charged us separately $15 for kids buffett because instead of trashing my wife’s free cereal, the kids finished it! Manager Beyah was like free continental breakfast is only for adults so we have to charge if kids eat any portion of it.. this is after kids had their own paid breakfast and wasn’t like they were only eating our free breakfast! Just such pathetic losers..needless to say .. we never went back even though we had free breakfast..

If there was ever a time to give a place a minus 1 star, this is it. The waitress that was working, ran around like she was new. Never asked for a drink order, never checked on us or give us feed back on our food. My food wasn't even hot when it arrived 50 minutes after ordering. Other staff did nothing to deal with the rush. Avoid this place and deal with the rain outside to find a more enjoyable place to dine.

Horrible! Food was greasy, so much so the plate had standing grease that overwhelmed the bun on the burger. The fries were extremely greasy cold and soggy. The waiter never took our drink order. Way over priced!!! We were there, 2/9/18 @ 8:02 pm
