I ordered the breaded tenderloin...it was hand patted and hand breaded. IT was amazing!!! I have not had a tenderloin like this in many years. It was hand crafted to melt in your mouth. Great variety. Service wasnt the most friendliest, but it was a holiday and noone likes to work on a holiday. Thank you for working today it was amazing.

I like straight forward, German/Eastern European leaning potato based dishes. They serve other dishes, of course, but sometimes you just want a big steaming plate of potatoes and onions. If you then take it to the next level by offering various edibles placed on top, you get my wholehearted approval. Highly recommend.

The breakfast is by far the best in the area! The regular breakfast with eggs, meat, potatoes, with toast or pancakes is delicious and a classic! The Belgian waffles are delicious and made better with the added toppings. If you have a chance to try the stuffed French toast don't hesitate, because it's fabulous. It's great for just a couple or a group of people. They recently added on a big addition at the back and so there is additional seating. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and the serving sizes are generous.

This place is wonderful! We had a very delicious all american breakfast platter. It was very good and filling. The coffee is excellent as well. The waitresses there are so friendly! I really appreciated how we were greeted and then told to sit where we would like ! I love that option! A lot of other restaurants want to cram you in a space with a lot of other people. This was not the case at Benjys! This has been the best place I've visited all year!

We've drove by this little gem for years without stopping in. Decided to try it a few months ago. Now it's my favorite local restaurant. I love the always fresh, salad bar. Everything we've order has been delicious.

Me and fiancé tracy come in there and enjoy our time there we try and get in there every Sunday..every time we go though we are always. Greeted with a smile and service is prompt..the food is always good and hot 🔥. And it so good 👍. The waitresses are super nice and alway right on time when it comes to getting a refill..and the prices aren't that bad at all..I recommend the biscuits and gravy or the house skillet. Love spending my Sunday mornings with my fiancé there at Benjy's 💘

I stopped by with my wife for a delicious lunch. I had a hand-breaded crispy fried chicken sandwich, which had an excellent flavor and texture. It was served with homemade chips, and I opted for the soup, which was a stuffed pepper soup. The whole meal was wonderful, and the service was quick and pleasant. This was just the kind of lunch I was looking for.

Been to Benjy's a couple times, and the food is always hot and fresh, just the way it should be. I have always had the same waitress, Torrie I think was her name. She always does a Super Awesome Job taking care of us and making sure we have all we need to have a very satisfying meal! I just love their pancakes, and the wife really enjoyed them too, as she ate them all up before even starting on her steak and eggs! Lol I have only had breakfast here, so I can tell you that the breakfast is good, and I bet lunch and dinner is just as good too! Stop and enjoy Benjy's when you are in the area, and don't let the construction stop you from getting some of those Awesome Pancakes! The place is fairly small, but the taste of the food is huge, and the smiles and friendliness of the people is Massive!! Stop in and get an awesome meal next time you are passing by on National Highway. For the folks who have been in this area for years, Benjy's is what used to be the Brass Lantern for many years...

I was beyond surprised at just how wholesome this restaurant is. The "quick lunch" menu had great choices. I rarely repeat restaurants, but I spent 2 lunches here. First, I had their ribeye sandwich. It's always hard to pull off, but they did marvelously, so I came back the next day for a sandwich I hadn't seen on a menu for a very long time....the Monte Cristo! It was better than I expected. The hand cut slice of ham stole my ❤️. The atmosphere is quiet, warm, friendly, and laid back without feeling like lazy if you know what I mean. The staff were Hometown good folks with real professionalism. Get this, though! Their salad bar had very fresh HAND CUT Romaine lettuce to start. Every vegetable in it was beautiful. It was kept tidy and clean. It's definitely a great place for lunch! I will be back!

Extremely friendly waitresses who are very hardworking. Food is delicious and they make it according to what we want. If I had anything at all to complain about, it would be that it's not very wheelchair accessible. My husband has a scooter that definitely would not fit in there. We wish they could get a larger building to accommodate their large crowd and possibly make it easier for wheelchair access. Other than that, they get five stars from me!

Service was a tad slow, but the food is amazing. The tenderloin is delicious and massive. I had to cut it in half. It isn't beaten paper thin. Perfect thickness. Highly recommend.

Friendly and prompt service. Went for breakfast. Only caveat the gravy for their biscuits and gravy is milk only not sausage gravy. Otherwise a great place for early morning breakfast.

Food is good. Like the salad bar. Sometimes the service is a little slow when only one waitress. But I give it a 4 overall.

Tori is the best waitress there. We ask for her typically when we go, we’ve had another waitress that has played with her hair out in the open and then preceded to bring out our food and touch our stuff. Same waitress another time we was there my middle child ate something he didn’t like or something and he threw up, we asked for napkins and she continued bringing our food out while I was waiting for napkins because there was throw up on our table. Needless to say we had to go get napkins ourselves. But overall we love eating here for breakfast, depending on waitress

The food here is alright, sometimes you get something good but other times you dont. One thing I'll never order again is the steak. One thing I may order again is the chicken club.

It wasn't that good of food. Seasoned fries was only choice and they was so hard couldn't even eat them. Couldn't even taste the bacon on BLT and that was suppose to have x-tra on it(2 slices). Drinks was nasty had no taste,flat. Don't think I'll be going back any time soon.

Pretty decent food for a small, outdated diner. Grilled chicken bacon ranch sandwich was good, but the stuffed pepper soup was phenomenal! The salad bar had a lot of options, but was kinda tacky with the mismatched color, plastic plates to serve it on. The place was quiet and had a nice vibe for conversations, and nice lighting. Our waitress was overworked, but friendly and fast! Would come back for breakfast or a nice lunch 🙂

The burger my husband got was a frozen highly processed patty you could get at Wal-Mart and my food was barely edible (grilled cheese and vegetable soup)....even though we were very disappointed in our food, our server was wonderful.

Didn’t have to wait to be seated but had to wait over 5 minutes to get menus and our drink order. Other tables that sat after us got their orders taken right away and their food quickly while we had to wait longer than expected. Tables sat uncleared for the entire time we were in the restaurant and it wasn’t even that busy. Pancakes were dry and crumbly, gravy was thin and tasteless. Nothing was seasoned at all. Portion sizes were generous, biscuits were good.

It just wasn't for me. The gravy tasted like it was from a can. I thought the place felt dirty. The parking is terrible, could barely get out of my car d/t parking is so close. The waitress was the best part of the experience. She was very pleasant despite being pregnant and over worked!

One meal missing half the items (hash browns and toast) & other meal missing the sauce (mayo). Servers hanging out at drink station not serving. I had to go to them to get refills and my missing food. 2 Burges like frozen bland patties and bacon cheese fried were subpar. Not good cheese. Cornbeef hash and eggs were good when I got them. Chicken sandwich was OK. It's like a place that was good back in the day and now Gordon Ramsey would shut down for not caring. Go to Wendy's or McDonalds because at least you know what to expect. First and last time visiting here.

The service girl was very rude to me and my husband and the service girl gave my husband a refilled on his drink but she did not even asked me if I would like to have a refill on my coffee and the service lady did not even come to the table to ask me and my husband food was ok or not and my husband had went to use the restroom and the other two services ladies was very rude and rude and selfish towards the other people and the service girls were very rude towards me and my husband . The rude service ladies were very rude talking about me and my husband and the service ladies were rude saying that me and my husband need to get out of the restaurant because that me and my husband were twickiers and that is why me and my husband will never go back to that restaurant ever again

This place was disgusting the chicken noodle soup and the corn tasted like it came out of a can the mashed potatoes were so bland the meat was way too chewy everything was expensive the service was slow the only thing good about it was the waitress was really nice but the food was really disgusting and everyone we went with hated it please improve your cooking skills and don't give people can food it's disgusting.

Got the prime rib and it was way undercooked, ordered a med and it came out rare. Sent it back twice and the third time it came out it was like they threw it in the microwave plus it had no seasoning at all. Definitely was not worth the price

This place is place is terrible! When i walked in the waitress looked unpleased that I was there. So I order an appetizer of fried pickles. I did not receive fried pickles... I received fried mushrooms...The waitress did not seem fazed by it. I also order a tenderloin and fries and my tenderloin came out half cooked. I will never eat here again! I'm very surprised this place stays in business.

I have ate here a couple different times. Each time the service was horrible and the food took forever to come out. The quality of the food isn't horrible, but there are definetly better options out there. The last time I was there I ordered a pork tenderloin which was VERY undercooked.

Waitress was descent. Plates were left on table and no refills made but she was clean and friendly. The place was very clean. Bathrooms well kept and very clean. However the food was absolutely horrific, literally the worst place I've ever ate before. Steak was over cooked and even soaked in butter I could barely chew it. My fiancé's shrimp was very over cooked. The salad bar had most things wilted or no good. Just a bad experience and I never give bad reviews but the food issues I just can't get over.
