I’ve been going here since I was little mostly with my grandparents which brings back great memories, we always sat in the same spot too... I still come here often if i’m in the area or feeling a bit nostalgic. 10/10!!!

You can't beat a place like this! Staff is always amazing, food is always delicious, and I have yet, in more than 2 decades, to have my order incorrect on take out. I make a 20 min drive for their wing dings which are amazing!

Great Friday the 13th dinner! These guys were on the mark. The Kitchen staff was rocking and focused, the young man who took our order was friendly and offered things he didn’t have to offer, and the food itself was 10/10 for sure! Great atmosphere in the quiet area up until someone sat right next to us while the rest of room was empty😂. My plate was huge, cooked perfectly, and The sauce was perfect and flavorful. My wife’s fish fry was so good it’s her new favorite spot (again). We put too much time between visits and won’t be doing that again. Thanks to Friday the 13th pm staff after 8. Great EVERYTHING!

We came in as a group of 16 and the girl behind the counter, Kaylee, was so kind, cheerful, and on top of things! She not only got the orders right and made the process as easy as possible, but overheard things like a kid who wanted ranch and was so quick to take care of the little details. Walking with a large group (especially since most were pre-teens and teens) could cause a pretty unenthusiastic reaction from staff, but instead we were greeted with such a positive attitude and had a great experience.

Was craving some fried mushrooms and breaded chicken wings. Both just hit the spot. I had a 45 minute drive...but I couldn't wait, so I ate them in my car in the parking lot. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love love this place. This place has quick service and many seats are also available. Their menu is great. They have so much variety to choose from. My favorites are their chicken sandwiches off the char-broil so good. Love their fries, pizza rolls, burgers, onion rings, etc. There is so much to mention. Great family restaurant. Charlie’s is the most.. consistently good place to get a cheeseburger! The meat tastes fresh… always!!! My husband gets the Philly cheese steak and some cluck chicken sandwich and they are also consistently delicious!. With food being so expensive lately… it is nice to go to a restaurant that you know will be fantastic every time!!

It's a great place for a hamburger or chicken tenders. It can seem a little chaotic at first bc there aren't clear lines of who is ordering and who is waiting for food, but it all gets sorted out. If you get one of the value meals, you can switch the fries to breaded mushrooms, breaded cauliflower, or chili cheese fries for an upcharge.

Had a garage plate. A lot of people were ordering them. Good food more than I can eat at one time. The hash browns are very good just different.

Great owner great employees and great looking food

Just moved to NY about a month and a half ago and went here on Sunday. Had the double cheeseburger and thought I'd died and gone to heaven. After that, my wife and I both decided to go back last night and got the mushroom swiss each and once again the best burger I have ever had. She added grilled onions, and even that little extra oomph was incredible. The regular fries are pretty standard, but the curly fries are also pretty freaking amazing. No matter what, however, this is the best burger I have ever had and a great place to eat.

These are the best places in town, both on the meat side And the fake meat side. Great portions, good prices, and well made food. I live about 25 minutes out and I still come to get food here. The only problem is that the inside of the restaurant is a bit bare and sometimes just has a still air sort of smell. Even then, just get take out or eat outside. Great spot.

AMAZING VEGAN PLATE! And badass oatmilk chai as a drink! How did I not know about this plate??? My only complaint is that my plate didn't come with bread, which was a bit disappointing. Make the plastic ware by request and use the money you save on bread 🤤 Otherwise, perfection!

I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I was here over the weekend, so pardon the delayed post. I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. This was BY FAR the most delicious garbage plate I’ve ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here. And it’s less than a 10-minute, quick’n’easy drive from Rochester General Hospital (so skip the Wolfgang Puck despite the convenience). I will add that the young woman who took my order was kind and friendly. The meal “to-go” was ready in less than 4 minutes. And the food was delicious, not at all greasy—literally PERFECT. And as I stood waiting, I noticed the restaurant dining area, as well as counter area, was super clean and neat. Clearly a great place for families with children to dine.

LOVE CHARLIES! Good burger food. They serve gravy with your meal. The worst I can say about the place? THEY ARE BUSY! Every time I go. They have a line. Order a bacon cheeseburger fries and gravy. Always satisfied, Always good food! Check them out.

Charlie's is a best kept local secret in Webster. The food is fresh and the service is far superior to Bill Gray's or Tom Wahls. The girls are super friendly and the fact that they can remember an entire family's orders without writing it down is always entertaining the first time you visit. And now they serve Chai Guy chai lattes which is just icing on the cake!

Love this place! My favorite thing about this place is when we get pickles on the side just to munch on. My husband gets the plate because he loves the hot sauce. I usually get the mushroom Swiss burger. We go a couple times a month and it's always ready when I get there (we order ahead), always correct and always delicious.

Went here for the 1st time on a Saturday night. Lots of great food choices, and our meal was excellent. Prices are reasonable and portions are good! Service was amazing and they had people cleaning up in the dining area. Plenty of seating and a variety of different little "nooks" to eat. The peanut butter milkshake was the best I have ever had! Will definitely be coming back!

The server who took my order was quite helpful for me in deciding my toppings since I was unfamiliar with the options, and everyone was super nice!

Really great garbage plates and very vegetarian friendly. This place is the only one I've found where the meatless option for a plate is as intentional as the meat one. Have always loved their food but I'm sad they got rid of the BBQ sauce they used to have for the charbroiled chicken sandwiches. Pickles have been floppy the last couple times. Also, I wish I liked their meat hot but it's too thin and sweet for me. Still, chicken sandwiches, burgers, fish, etc will bring us back over Bill Gray's any day.

My partner and I really liked the food from Charlie’s. They are very generous with the toppings, which made it just a little too messy to eat for my liking. But the flavor was fantastic. I’ll probably just ask for a knife and fork next time, because the taste was worth going back for!

Great diner selling old-school burgers and fries. Also has chicken sandwiches and onion rings. Walk up to bar to order...no real lines cause some confusion for 1st timers...but the staff are good at asking if everyone has placed their orders. 2 burger plate was spot on. Meat hot sauce (a local staple) was fantastic.

I come to Charlie’s many times for lunch. The service is the quickest service I’ve ever had in my life. If you don’t know already, it’s not really a waiter/waitress restaurant. You bring your own food to your table. It’s cheap and really good quality. I’ve never had a problem with Charlie’s in the area. Sometimes the tables and appearance is sticky or a bit dirty. I can understand if the cleaners haven’t gotten to things yet. But overall Charlie’s is a great place to come for lunch, dinner, or just eating. You’ll be happy with your experience here!

Food is excellent! Walk in, order at the counter and find a seat. Fountain sodas, pickles and condiments are self serve. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is always packed with people, especially on the weekends but plenty of seating. You have to get the garbage plate! My favorite is always with the home fries, red hots and Mac salad. Put the hot sauce meat sauce all over it and a side of sweet pickles and it's perfection! My son had fries and chicken tenders but after trying my garbage plate he left the fries and chicken tenders alone. My husband played it safe with a bacon cheeseburger. Honestly it was more like a smash burger and bacon was cooked to perfection; nice and crispy. He did get the hot sauce meat sauce on the side and said it elevated his burger. I know in Rochester there's garbage plates everywhere because it's what Rochester is known for and I've tried many places but Charlie's wins, hands down. Highly recommend. I will be returning!

A good fried haddock shouldn't be even a little rubbery. Not right for a place that does a very high volume. Mediocre fries, but decent cole slaw. Energetic staff memorize your walk-up orders and shout them out to the cooks line. Spouse liked the burger and mac salad on her Charlie's plate; home fries not so much. That enormous volume of food was 'only' a "half plate!"

I've been to this Charlie's a few times and the food's generally okay; it's not fine dining. Today, though, I didn't like what I saw. The cook wore latex gloves but he had a wet rag nearby that he would touch regularly and then continue on with touching food. I felt it was unsanitary and unsavory and now there's one more place I won't enjoy any longer. Sigh.

While the food is good, we order our food to go the majority of the time. 9 times out of 10 your order will be wrong or missing an item. Sadly after having this happen probably 20 plus times since covid, this was our final straw. We will no longer be going back.

Well, it's an Americana diner. It's been here for a very long time. To be honest, it's tacky and very outdated. I'd say the mustard yellow and brown vinyl everything is hard to overlook. Well rolled into this place hungry, it's a burger joint, what could go wrong? Burgers pricey, With no fries. Basically a 10.00 burger and up. But if u want the combo watch out. They claim to save money this way. Nope. So u want a bacon blue burger. They take off the stuff it comes with, follow me, and then make it a combo then add all back on and upcharge YOU!!!! For all the stuff the burger is suppose to come with!!! GO KICK ROCKS. No thank you. So never had the chance to eat their food. But did go round and round with the cashier! Left hungry . All 5 if us got gut sick we had 2 plates and 2 Charlie burgers, we order once a week from there for yrs, even my dog had a tiny peice of the end if a burger and he's never done dooty in the house in 10yrs. Our stomach's are still not right. We love Charlie's been going there for over 17 yrs. Hope no one else got sick.. Not to mention, We spend @ least $50. a week there and the girl who took our order still didn't get it right along with a $10 tip to put hit sauce on the side and not hard rolls.
