Honestly for the price they have for All You Can Eat this place is a gem! Right now they have a $14.99 lunch special and dinner is only $19.99-INSANE! I actually enjoyed a lot of the food I had in using the sushi which was surprising. The noodles were by far my favorite and they have delicious soup & dumplings!
The best Chinese Buffet in long Island. Clean facility, Smiley staffs, Not too salty food, and the best price. Ingredients are fresh and not over added spices in to the food. Sushi and Hibachi are served, even during the lunch time. Well, the food quality and taste may NOT be par with local best specialty restaurant. Local Japanese restaurant may serve better quality sushi, or even Korean BBQ buffet should have better BBQ selections. But, since I need acceptable quality and taste with varieties for a lunch at a reasonable cost, this spot is qualified and deserved for 5 stars. I hope they stay in this status longer. Current 20% Off promotion makes this place even more affordable and attractive as of 9/3/25.
Came here after watching a TikTok video introducing this new Chinese Buffet restaurant in Long Island. Was impressed with the interior and the buffet tables which were all new. They have a large selection of seafood items and they offered 20% off from the bill. We came back 3 weeks later for a second lunch date.
This is a new Chinese buffet with a variety of sushi, hibachi bbq, seafood boil, salad, fruits, desserts. It’s a no frills, great atmosphere, clean AYCE for only $20 for adults. They also have 10% off as of 10/16/25. It’s worth it for the price point. Would recommend.
Before I get to the food, I must mention that it's been a while since I've experienced such delightful service! Cheerful and friendly, that speaks a lot about your establishment! Now the food was amazing! The salt, pepper shrimp, the crab, the hibachi omg I don't even know where to start! Everything was delicious! The sushi was a tie with my favorite sushi spot Mizumi on Northern Blvd! Overall the food was well seasoned well prepared and properly presented! The place is well kept, clean ( even the restroom) and the atmosphere was inviting! We will definitely be making this a regular.
Tried the newly opened Mikado Buffet in West Hempstead, NY. The place feels like an upscale buffet without the crazy price. Super clean with a modern vibe. They had a wide variety of seafood that was constantly being restocked. Definitely a must-try if you’re in the area.
This is our second trip to this buffet within few weeks of soft openning. And both of my daughters are requesting me to give it a 5 star review. The first time was just a random quick lunch after 2 hours bowling session with my daughters. But they like this place so much, they insisted to bring mommy and grand parents here on the weekend.
This place is wonderful with a great selection of hot food, salads cold bars, sushi and desserts menu, including seafood like mussel, clams, shrimp and etc. With the price of $19.99 for dinner snd $14.99, it’s a great deal for all the options you get!
Great price! I was actually very confused and thought there was a catch but no, the food was great, service was great, generally good vibes, and a huge range of options. I was confused why it was so empty. I will definitely be coming back and spreading the word!
Great selection, delicious, they always pick and serve fresh fruits, The best is the Pho soup Station

Nice new buffet with a large parking lot and good variety of food items. However, some of the food were just lukewarm. Sushi/sashimi were fresh. We did not try the hibachi and pho bars. Overall, this was a good place to dine. 20% discount on top of already affordable prices was great. Dinner for 3 after tax and tips cost only $65. Suggestion for the restaurant: place a bottle of hand sanitizer at each table. Will definitely return and hope the food temperature is hotter next time.
Place is not bad compared to the price. They have various food and options to choose from with affordable price but the food was little cold and some of the food doesn’t have a description like all the sushi bar. I didn’t like the dessert bar (cookies and cake) but they have fruits and other options you may pick. They have a lot of parking spots and the place is not crowded
It was my first time trying a sushi and BBQ buffet (plus Chinese food), and it was a great experience! There were plenty of options to choose from, and the sushi was fresh and well-prepared. Overall, a solid spot — definitely recommend giving it a try! 7.5/10
For $19.99 a person, you get bang for your buck dining in at Mikado. There's a huge parking lot, so looking for a space won't be an issue. The restaurant itself is sizable, with plenty of seating. It is all-you-can-eat with various options, including sashimi, sushi, cooked oysters with garlic, shrimp cocktail, clams, Chinese food, bubble tea, etc. etc. Yes, I said bubble tea (they do not have boba, but they do have lychee jelly)! My friend and I ordered a drink, then loaded our plates with a ton of seafood and sushi, followed by cooked meats, noodles and fruits. You can't ask for more!

We were pretty excited to checkout this new buffet place for dinner but unfortunately we were not impressed. The ambience and decor was nice but the food offering fell short. We were pretty disappointed with the variety and also several of the dishes were not hot as others have commented. Although it looks like it's streaming, several dishes were barely warm. It has potential but definitely needs to work on food temperature and variety.
We were excited to try this seafood buffet but it's really just an average Chinese food buffet. For a seafood buffet, it would be a bargain but for a Chinese buffet it's overpriced. We weren't happy with the sushi at all. All the hot food was fair. They have a hibachi grill which we did not try so I can't speak for that. They had no ice cream left but they had ice pops that kids would eat. We passed on the ice pops, especially on January 4, 2025 when it was very cold outside. They played one song only that looped over and over again all night called "company" by Justin Bieber. I had my phone identify it. It wasn't our type of music and hearing it over and over again multiplied my dissatisfaction with the music. That was very weird
Came Black Friday at around 5:45 and was seated right away. The number of sushi, sashimi, roll options are not as large as some of the other buffets I have been to but for the price, it wasn't bad. Came to $20pp and there was also a 10% discount for dining in. My kids liked the mac and cheese, pudding, and the variety of ice cream in the freezer (cups, bars, sandwiches). There is also a pho station as well as the hot foods and a raw bar. The wait staff was very attentive with our plates being taken right away and water refilled. The only thing my kids mentioned was that the white rice seemed like it was half cooked. I did not notice the same with the sushi rice or rolls. For the price, I am sure we will be back.
Super nice and clean and brand new spot only 10 days old!!! Managers super nice!! Food needs work and a lot of the food was cold!!! Also they don’t know how to bbq!! The ribs was boiled and then covered by a bbq sauce with big peppers!!! lol a lot of the stuff was left over from lunch and dried out lol!!! Everything almost got the same sauce with a lot of peppers lol!!! Cooked Oysters was bad !! Been sitting there since lunch!!!

Eh. Went on a Monday night, ended up spending $23pp. The springrolls and noodles were pretty good, however there was little sushi available, and it was never restocked during our hour long stay. There was apparently a hibachi station, however nobody was manning it either. The sushi I did have was decent, but seemed dry as if it had been sitting under the lights for too long. If you want buffet, not an awful option, but if you're hungry for sushi...

This is a hard pass for me and anyone who has been to other Asian buffets in queens. One, the selection of food was minimal for a buffet. Although they offer hibachi and pho, the selection was quite disappointing. You want seafood? I would go to Mizumi. I sampled something from every station just to see if there was anything I’d like, but sadly, the only thing I liked was the ice cream sandwich from the ice cream section. The rice on the sushi was hard and cold. The edamame was already browning and did not look appetizing. The seafood selection was … sad. Again, compared to other seafood buffets, Mikado does not live up to the name. The dessert bar has some cakes, which looked dry so I didn’t even try them. They had some fruits, but the fruit selection was not in season for those particular fruits so they were not sweet. The dim sum offered there was not the dim sum you see in Chinese banquets. These were the ones you see in the frozen section of the Asian supermarket that you buy in bulk and just steam. Not truly dim sum in my opinion. I did not try the hibachi but did try the pho. It was quite confusing because the guy who was supposed to be cooking/making the pho was just sitting down playing on his phone so I was unsure how the process worked. Apparently, you gather your ingredients on a plate and hand it to the guy who then cooks it in water for a bit. He then pours everything into a bowl and pours the broth into the bowl. The broth on its own tasted like ramen seasoning poured into water and mixed throughout. It was very bland. Though the food was not up to par for me, the staff was very attentive and there was plenty seating.
