There was a small construction project in the nearby parking area. Entry on and off the highway was very easy. The food and service were great, as is the case with this chain most of the time. The food was all made fresh to order. And the burgers were made as requested. Food was hot and brought to the table directly. They had a special, which included adding a shake to the meal for a single dollar. And the drink that comes with the meal was still included.

Every single time I go here, these young men show me hospitality, priority and respect. I dont think I’ve seen a Whataburger run so well with such professional and quick service ever. I travel for work. I’ve seen a lot of these stores. This store is one of the best. Next time I go, I’ll get their names and post another review.

Went through the drive thru it's always a long wait in the drive thru or when you go inside, they do make every order fresh. I had the garden salad with the spicy chicken and it was excellent. Very fresh salad and the chicken was cooked perfect. Thanks Whataburger!!

Great place and mainly the best whataburger I love going too. Yes it tends to get hectic at times with many cars on the drive-thru lanes but it's worth their food. Meals have always been fresh. And its usually always have everything on the menu available such as shakes! Staff is always friendly. As for atmosphere, inside I believe should be a bit better managed as per service. Other than that....this place is still a great burger place to go to.

While service is hit or miss and orders may be inaccurate from time to time, the basics are there. It's the Texas Whataburger food and flavor I expect. Love to see teens from our community working and smiling here, providing great customer service.

They can be slow , but the food is good. Also only one toilet for women and only one for men. So when there busy there is a line for the restrooms. And they play the music to loud it felt more like a club then Whataburger.

Our go to breakfast on the road, Sausage BOB, no bun. We love them and these were perfect. Service was the issue, a huge waste of packaging and only because the server did not listen. Each was packaged separately and I had carefully ordered 2 to a platter. Then I specifically asked for one each, ketchup and spicy ketchup, I received three each. I am saddened by needless waste, if it were my shop I would assure my employees LISTENED to their customers.

My sister got her order before me even though I ordered first and I only ordered french fries. BUT the cashier was very kind when I went to ask about my order and was going to give me an apple pie for the wait but they were out. Old building obviously could use a bit of attention. Not dirty just kinda looks old. Most food I've had was great. Taste like the salt shaker got dropped in the gravy a time or two. I stopped by last night on my way to Houston, and I’m still mad at their service. The three stars are for the food. The food was solid. But the service is horrible. I asked for extra napkins, and got two. I also asked that they cut the hamburger in half cause it’s easier to eat while driving. They only cut one bun! It made such a mess when I separated the halves. And I didn’t have enough napkins to clean it up. Also it bugs me so much when they ask you twice to move up to wait for your food.

I wish I could give a -5 star rating. I don't eat at this Whataburger because one visit they didn't tighten the tea spout and tea shot all over me. The next 2 visits my order was filed wrong. The 4th visit they have me rotten apples, and the 5th last straw was when my son had a long thick piece of hair in his burger. It was cooked into the meat patty! The meat from his burger was still inn the hair when I picked up the hair! That was a couple weeks ago. I don't eat at this location any more. Update: 6/29/26 the location is substantially improved! The food was good and made right. The manager on duty was kind to give the yard workers water in a large cup. Her kindness is the reason I ordered food. I updated the rating to a 3 with 5 star service. I will probably go again and post another update. 🙂

The bathroom was clean, and the store was clean, but being a doordasher, there was one problem. They had not even started the order when I got there. I used the facilities and still sat for an additional 10 minutes, which is unacceptable. 15 minutes..... not happy about it.

Those burgers 🍔 use to be so good back then. Now it's mad with no love. Fries was old and dry. I specifically ask for fresh fries while I wait. But everything is changing in this world. More chemicals mean terrible taste in our food.

....sloppy service of what I can only imagine was the 'B' team of employees. Ordered on the app . No problem. At the drive through I was greeted by 'oh, the order with a strange name'... didn't bother me, the account is registered under my email which is just a scramble of letters if u don't know their meaning. The food was waiting for me at the window & someone was pouring the drink. And I was back on the road. The fries were awful. Every one was soggy & barely warm and they provided regular ketchup when I always specify spicy. Then the drink which was supposed to be 50/50 unsweetened tea & lemonade, was made with sweet tea. The burger was ok, but not anything to be proud of by a good measure. Most WB I go to have an impeccable track record of fantastic service. Something that had come to expect AND why I am such a frequent customer. There's too many other good ones to ever visit this location again IMO.

A couple of years ago this place was well managed. This past year, wait times are too long. One trip they gave our order to someone else in drive thru. Burger quality inconsistent. Today, the toilet in men’s room was full of s**t and out of order. The fries were tough , chewy, stale. Things have gone downhill since the original Whataburger sold out. I stretched the score to 2 stars because the burger was good in spite of fact they forgot to add cheese.

I was in the drive thru. I asked for my meal and a senior coffee. Was not asked if regular or decaf coffee. When I came up to the window I told the young man. I wanted decaf, the man behind him said in a loud voice "she didn't say she wanted decaf!". That same man brought my coffee out to me, I asked him uf i could have cream and sugar. He turned and came back and just gave them to me. He didn't put it in a small bag like all other Whataburgers do. I feel he was bothered and was very rude.

Used to really like Whataburger. But seems to have gone the wrong way. This one had poor service. Used the drive through. Waited for our food while others passed us up. They said it was the fries that was holding our order up. Got our burgers. They were bland. I ordered their new (Double steak house burger). If you try it be sure to add something with flavor. They forgot the ketchup. No napkins. Hopefully they improve on it.

Last year I gave a 1 star and recommended that you go 20 more miles South to the El Campo location. Today 3/31/2024 was a lot better after a follow up detailed message to Whataburger Corp some good quick glance improvements are obvious. Drive through experience was good with enthusiastic attitude. Although the order took long considering Easter Day…..expected including the order wasn’t 100% but we got 4 meals and we were at least happy with that. This location used to have good service. It has gone downhill. Employees walking and standing around not doing anything. Nobody giving direction. No sign of the manager. We waited 30 min. The gave my order to someone else, who brought it back and then got their order cold. Waited another 10 to get my food. Not sure what happened ,but this location has gone downhill. You pull up to the window and the worker seem like they are afraid to say your total. You wait for a good while (which I don’t complain because I expect my food to be hot) but for some reason they always give me the wrong order. When ordering online you still have to wait 20+ minutes just to receive your order. I never had a issue before but every since all my favorite employees left that’s when my experience became trash.

One of the least efficient Whataburgers I've seen in quite some time. Food took 15+ minutes to come out, the dining room was trashed, and - of the 10 people who were there in the hour we were there, 6 took their food back because it was made wrong. We would have too as it was cold when we got it, but did not have time to deal with it. The only saving grace was the manager who came on duty just before we left who freaked out at what a mess the place was. Will not be returning to this location.

I ordered curbside 15 minutes early. Arrived at the set time and checked in. Waited for 10 minutes in my car and food was still not delivered to the car. Went inside to get food and food was ready but no one bothered to look at the curbside checkin. Completely unreliable staff.

I finally got to go to "B lane" and was expecting to be really quick as I only ordered a number 5. As I watched no less than 5 cars stream past me in A lane, I was getting perturbed and finally got my food and drove off without checking, my fault. Got to my motel room, took a drink and damn near died.... there was an inch of sugar in the bottom of my tea!! Last time I go there, not that it will bankrupt them but that location won't get any more of my money.

We were on a road trip when we stopped at this whataburger. Four people in our group had two different orders and two of the same. The 2 different orders came out first and were ordered last the same 2 orders came out over 30 minutes after And wore ordered first. This was a breakfast. After complaining to the manager, he only said that they had hamburgers to get out first. When there was hardly any customers inside the restaurant, they were focusing more on their drive through. This is the first time I have ever had a bad experience with a whataburger Restaurant.

Saturday November 23 at 8:45 am waited 30 mins for 3 taquitos and fries. Order came up and was wrong. People kept coming inside from drive thru complaining about they missing food and wrong food in their bag. Poor management and too many youngsters not paying attention.. Never again..

It took 30 min to get my food and all I got was 2 breakfast biscuits and a small shake. As a fast food worker this is ridiculous, and it is entirely too hot to be waiting this long. The entire line is waiting so long for their food. There is now 3 cars in queue as I write this review. They need to be faster because this is fast food not a fine dine restaurant.

This place really grinds my gears. The drive thru always takes forever, they never have anything I want, and recently they have been telling me "their system is down" and it will take 30 minutes to boot up? I used to work in fast food so I understand the struggles but it just seems like lies to me. Terrible environment, always dirty. The people are rude to me even though I didn't do anything too. I wanted a free chili burger from my app. They didn't have any chili, so I received a burger with fritos on it. The fries were stale. The coke machine was out of order. The manager was waiting the register but was communicating with the kitchen very well. On guy came from curbside and said he had been waiting for 15 minutes. His order just needed to be taken out to him. This was the worst Whataburger I have been to in a while. Definitely will not visit again.

I wish I could tell you something good here, I ordered my food and was sent to the B line in the drive thru. 10 minutes later a young man with a tablet came up apologizing that his tablet wasn't working and as he finished apologizing, the tablet died and off he went back inside. The drive thru was packed, I was afraid I was going to get blocked in there, so I drove around , thinking i could pick up my order, WRONG! I was heading home to Houston from Corpus and my dog and I were so hungry!! Too much chaos going on in that parking lot , I drove home! Very disappointed and upset with this location. Seems every night they close the fryers for cleaning supposedly. Gone 3 different nights at 3 different times and no fried food available! Manager didn't seem to care when I told them I seen someone get fries when I was told again no fries or other fried foods she the fryers are supposedly being changed at the same time. With no fries it's just as expensive or worse. I don't know how that works. Not great.

Placed a mobile order 15 minutes ahead of time to be able to walk into restaurant and get my order. Got to the restaurant total chaos. My order had not even been started on. Waited 20 more minutes inside waiting on my order. While there saw other customers come and go yet I was still waiting. Saw my order sitting there and still had to wait on my drinks. The thing that was upsetting the most was having to watch my food sit there and the manger along with the other workers start on my drinks leave to attend another order/customer and then come back to finish, when it should be completed before starting another order since it does not take long to complete drinks. Finally got my drinks and still had to wait on my food. Once getting my food checked the bags to make sure the order was complete and come to find it was not. Missing half of my order and still had to continue to wait for them to complete my order. Long story short by the time I got to eat my food it was cold!

It took over 5 minutes to get someone to the counter to take our order. There was a large group of employees sitting at the back of the restaurant laughing and talking. One young man tried to help us but he needed someone in the group to put their fingerprint in on the screen. They refused to come do it. Finally a manager came up and took our order. She missed items that I ordered and then when the burgers where ready they sat on the counter getting cold because they had not put fries in the fryer and when we asked to just have the burgers they put fries on at that point. A new manager came on duty as we were finishing our food. We told him what had happened and he shrugged his shoulders and said do what you have to do and walked off. Very bad response from a manager! Worst fast food experience ever!

Went into whataburger in Wharton, on our drive home, to try to sit and enjoy a meal. To find out that the AC is not working and hasn't been working for a couple of months, as per employee. Restaurant was very hot and poor employees are forced to work in those conditions. They had portable AC's, apparently as a permanent fix.

I went drove thru drive thru, ordered 3 meals, and specifically asked for light mustard and spicy and regular ketchup. Salt and pepper as well. It’s not the first time I asked because in the past they didn’t do what I asked. Well I get home and they only put 2 reg ketchups which I ordered 3 meals, No salt and pepper, few napkins and the burgers were soggy due to too much mustard and the fries were old I called and some young guy answered and said Hello? I asked if I could speak to a manager and he said he was the manager. I didn’t believe him because first of all he answered Hello? And I told him I said if ur a manager u don’t answer the phone in that manner, How about , Hello this is Whataburger, how may I help u? He then said oh I’m Sorry bout that. So I told him my problem and he just said oh I’m Sorry bout that. I’m like WHAT? That’s all u got to say? I’m eating a soggy burger with old fries and no ketchup! Oh I’ll talk to them. And that was it!! Talk about PISSED!! Won’t happen again tho cause I’ll go get chicken across the street

My burger is always made incorrectly...the stickers on the wrapping were correct but not the Burger. They did make it correctly after I took it back but it took awhile before I got the Burger back and by then my fries were cold!!!

There was no water available for the customer facing soda fountain. I can’t drink sugar or caffeine, so the only option that appeared to be available was “Water” under the sugar free lemonade tap. Except, there was no water. All that came out was the syrup of the lemonade. Another customer said that another option wasn’t working either. When I asked for help to see if the fountain machine behind the counter had water, all of the workers either ignored me or just shrugged and said there was no water available. At my husband’s insistence someone finally put tap water in the cup. It tasted terrible. I poured it out. And then we just kept waiting and waiting for our food. My husband had time to walk over to Denny’s to buy me a bottled water and our food still didn’t arrive. So we gave up and gave our table tent to a family, and left to go to another Whataburger. We love Whataburger. We no longer live in an area that has them, so we look forward to eating at one when we visit Texas. We proudly wear Whataburger gear in our neighborhood. But this was a terrible experience. It really felt like none of the employees cared at all.

Stopped in to get some late night food around 12:15 and didn't get out until 1:05. Service time was ridiculous for two meals. Food is terriblly overpriced for the quality of food being brought to you. Fries are always cold and stale. I will say that some of the employees do have good attitudes while others just don't seem to care. Would definitely enjoy the place better if they could better their customer service.

(Occured at 1130pm tonight) I tell ya first they got my orders wrong. They didn't even give me the burger from my second order. I went and told them in a nice manner, and I knew I was taking a risk having them remake my order, but when I got my orders, the bun was old, and the cheese was a different color. The cook was rude. I threw both of the meals out the window. We definitely wasnt going to eat that!! Whataburger should be shut down and place another restaurant there. Can't even get my money back. I tell ya. It's funny how when ppl at a restaurant make a mistake, they get angry at the customer like it's our fault 🤣🤣🤣

Ordering curbside waited forever had to call the store the. They finally brought it out manager said he would give complimentary cinnamon but didn't. Burger was cold and the patti thinner than the bread

Unfortunately will not be going back to location. Order was a double meat with cheese no mustard with jalapeños. The photos show had mustard and no jalapeños, no cheese. So I took it back and I did get burger exchanged but should have checked it. It was now only 1 patty in burger and no cheese again. And it was not even hot. I really like Whataburger but this location needs additional training and management to step up when an order is incorrectly made and no Manager showed up front when I took order in. I did fill out survey as well.
