We had lunch at Red Ginger and absolutely loved it. We ordered the coconut tom yum soups, and they were amazing — perfectly balanced, rich, and full of flavor with just the right amount of spice. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and the portion size was great for lunch. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely a place we would come back to and recommend if you enjoy Thai flavors and comforting soups.

A great, family-owned restaurant that offers sushi and Thai-inspired cuisine. A really great pairing! The food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. The first time we dined there, we were treated like family. They also had a live musician playing classics and oldies that I absolutely loved. The fish was fresh, the cooked food was outstanding, and the King of God roll was AMAZING!! I look forward to visiting again soon!

Everytime I come to Red Ginger I am so happy with the service and of course the perfectly delicious sushi!! It is my go-to sushi in the west valley! I love the spicy yellowtail! The red snapper today was perfect! It never disappoints!

Amazing personal service. Jack is a lovely guy who owns this delectable sushi bar. You got to try the avocado bomb! The yellowtail collar, and the Chirashi bowl are to die for!

I’ve been coming here for over a decade, and that says everything. This isn’t a flashy, trendy sushi spot it’s better. It’s real. The fish is always fresh, the quality never slips, and Jack remembers your order every time. You see the same regulars who have been coming as long if not longer than you whenever you walk in, which tells you it’s the real deal. It’s comfortable, unpretentious, and reliable. Sometimes you can’t even tell if it’s open from the outside but it always is, and it always delivers. If you want great sushi without the hype or attitude, this is your place.

We’ve been coming here for years now. The food is very fresh and the service is always great! They have a live singer sometimes so we love the vibe here. I would recommend the shrimp dbl roll and the pizza bites for an appetizer.

Loved this place great food chef can provide sushi based on a flavor profile ypu like. Definitely will be back parking can be a little difficult but over all great. They have Thai and sushi Monday through Saturday but Sunday is sushi or Japanese food exclusively.

Food has never let us down. I usually get OMG roll which is so big and moist and also the crab salad which is huge! My wife usually gets something with yellowtail and loves it. Atmosphere is a little dull but not horrible. They had a musician a couple times and that was great! Asian guy singing rock classics, so good!

love this place, heard that a new owner will be running it soon hopefully my opinion does not change when the ownership changes! Right now the fish is always amazing and any recommendation they have i definitely go and try! Not cheap but I would rather come here and get the good stuff then go somewhere else a couple of times!

I've been going here since the first week they opened. It's a very comfortable neighborhood sushi restaurant. The fish is fresh and the service is outstanding. Jack will oblige with any special requests. You're no stranger when you're at Red Ginger. Really great place!

Wait staff, professional and responsive so overall, great for happy gatherings if you don't mind competing with the music. Price was average for sushi. Make a reservation and plan time to look for parking.

Great service, very friendly, but just decent sushi for the price! I get it, it's in L.A, Sushi Hook in Sac was better. But still 4 stars, as it wasn't bad at all, would go there again!

I could take it or leave it. Probably leave it??? I came in for lunch. The service is great! 1 guy doing waiter/bus boy duties because of Covid. And he's ontop of it all. BUT.... The food... meh. Here's why... The sushi... WAAAY TOO EXPENSIVE, and not my style. Everything was warm, Like A peculiar kind of room temperature warm. We got a California roll and a Eel Avocado cut roll just to try. Meh. Both were nothing special. 6 pieces each. I didn't taste the eel at all, and it got drowned in mush by the Avocado. The California roll wasn't all that. Honestly, the ones you buy prepacked at the supermarkets are better. No joke. Pad Thai noodle was ok. A little too much sugar/sweet for my taste. A kid might like it though? Sizzling chicken dish was Sizzling when they bring it out. It's ok, has a Curry flavor. There's no mention of the Curry on the menu. If I would have known, I never would have ordered it. The whole dish seemed a little "mushy." As a matter of fact, the whole experience today seemed a little mushy. Most of the lights were on, but the place felt very under lit. When you walk in the door, I just felt like the whole place needed a shower. I remember this place being okay before the pandemic. Maybe I'll wait another year and then come back and try to review it again.

I love it here food I good but I went on Saturday night was sat at a table and not attending to at all not a word was said to us for 15 minutes. We were in a rush so we had to leave, they are under staffed

I used to love coming here the food was great. Unfortunately today I was taken there by my gf for a birthday dinner and I never received my food. I told them twice and still nothing. When I told the waitress she responded “oh sorry” and never did anything to fix it. Poor service. Big let down.
