The is one of the best and most authentic Mexican restaurants in NYC. It is very cozy, clean and they deliver very high quality service. This is our new spot to go on Fridays and weekends. The margaritas and Piña coladas, are loaded and tasty. The best plate in my opinion is the Fajitas, with steak, chicken and shrimp. You will not find a better deal than this, I highly recommend it.

I’ve lived in Woodside, Queens for 25+ years and have passed La Adelita so many times but never dined or ordered take out from them. What a mistake. The most fresh and delicious Mexican food I’ve had had on this side of Queens. Elote con todo for $2.49?! You can’t even get it on the streets for that. Highly recommend the al pastor, elote, queso fundido with chorizo and even the rice and beans were breathtaking—just like moms! Also very exceptional customer service, delivery and overall experience. Next time I’ll order directly from them so they can avoid all the third party fees. Thanks Laura and everyone at La Adelita. I found this place on groupon and it's a diamond in the rough. About 14 tables that seats 4 people, beautiful setting, the food is fresh and the servers are delightful. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy Mexican cuisine and good company.

The sign outside may say La Adelita is a Bar & Restaurant but it is also a Panaderia! They have many types of fresh pan (bread) so leave some room for dessert or grab a pan for breakfast. Next time you’re in Woodside give their bakery a try.

I ordered chicken with yellow rice, and potatoes, and it was delicious. Nice seasoning, and a good portion. I also tried one of the conchas, it was just ok. I definitely plan on returning to try a few other menu items

It's a very romantic setting. There were flowers and candles on the tables. However, they have TVs on, so it makes it feel more relaxed. They make their own chips which were great, I only wished they provided queso with the salsa like most Mexican restaurants I've been to at home. It took more than 30 minutes for our food to come out so I wouldn't recommend it if you're in a hurry. My food wasn't how I wanted it but the server was very accommodating and had it fixed for me, no problem. It's sort of hidden, right under the 7 train, but I had a good experience here.

this mexican restaurant is run by a family that keep the place very traditional. The free nachos before your meal are a plus, but the food took a little bit tooo long to arrive. The portions are big, the huevos rancheros are tasty and made of 3 eggs! the down thing was that they do not do coffee refills.

They will take your money, tell you that your order has been picked up by Seamless, and then you’ll never get your food. It has happened twice. I’m not giving them any more chances.

This is a good place to go to, once in a while. Food is OK, service is average, the one thing that is really annoying they don't open until lunch, although they have a bakery, no morning bread until night time....

Conocí La Adelita de Woodside a través de la app To Good To Go y quise probar la comida del lugar. Antes de entrar al lugar la impresión no fue buena, y al entrar fue peor. No quise prejuiciarme por el ambiente desagradable del lugar y espere por mi pedido. Debo confesar que apenas lo probé me revolvió el estómago. Mi esposo intento comerlo y desistió también. Terminamos echando la comida a la basura. Era arroz grasiento, un pedacito de pollo mal sazonado y un poco de frijoles. No lo recomendaría a nadie.

Warning dead rat on premises.Very slow..The food is alright..My friend's daughter always eats ceviche but it was horrible.The seviche tasted like rotten tomatoes. They charged us for the nasty rotten shrimp coctail. When we first got here we saw a dead RAT. The waitress was mean,rude,and cranky. Horrible day. When i asked to see the manager. He disappeared and left the waiter alone. I highly suggest you go to the sushi spot across the street.

I called at 1:05 pm and the lady said the order would be there shortly. No one came. So I called again over and over for the next half hour and NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. I contacted Seamless and they refunded me. Finally the delivery arrived 1 hour late. What disgusting customer service. I wouldn’t be so angry if this was an isolated incident— I can understand sometimes things happen. But the fact that so many other people have the same complaint is UNACCEPTABLE. I have asked Seamless to remove them from their list of restaurants. I don’t know what will happen, but this is just sad. The man who delivered said he didn’t know he was 1 hour late- he just did what he was told to do…so…poor communication? Not sure what’s happening.
