We had such a great time here. Fun karaoke with excellent food and drinks. Great staff who made it so memorable. Perfectly balanced margaritas. Thank you from Toronto. We will be back!

Authentic Mexican food at its best. The guacamole is excellent, and the chicken enchiladas are delicious. The rice and beans are also very tasty. Portions are huge for the price, which is a rare find these days. The staff is so warm and attentive. And the ambiance makes you feel like you are dining in someone's home. Stop by La Adelita, you will not regret it.

The large group with whom I recently dined were treated to an incredible meal. Portions were ample, and the food was delicious. I had the fajitas, others in the group had the fish tacos and enchiladas, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. If you are looking for delicious Mexican food in a homey and welcoming environment, you couldn’t pick a better place than La Adelita de Woodside.

The food and service was excellent. Plus the Mexican themed atmosphere looked amazing. Im definitely coming back. The Flan cheese cake is a must try. I also recommend their steak nachos and the Sugarcane Colada.

The sign outside may say La Adelita is a Bar & Restaurant but it is also a Panaderia! They have many types of fresh pan (bread) so leave some room for dessert or grab a pan for breakfast. Next time you’re in Woodside give their bakery a try.

I used dine at La Adelita, a few years ago when they had the restaurant across the street.I have great memories, of the food and service so i decided to give them a try once again. I ordered chicken with yellow rice, and potatoes, and it was delicious. Nice seasoning, and a good portion. I also tried one of the conchas, it was just ok. I definitely plan on returning to try a few other menu items

It's a very romantic setting. There were flowers and candles on the tables. However, they have TVs on, so it makes it feel more relaxed. They make their own chips which were great, I only wished they provided queso with the salsa like most Mexican restaurants I've been to at home. It took more than 30 minutes for our food to come out so I wouldn't recommend it if you're in a hurry. My food wasn't how I wanted it but the server was very accommodating and had it fixed for me, no problem. It's sort of hidden, right under the 7 train, but I had a good experience here.

I ordered food through the 2Good2Go app, & picked up for delivery. The food was overall great, but the wait time was VERY long. It was the night of the Super Bowl, so of course that’s understandable, but nonetheless it didn’t appear busy & I stood around for over a half hour. I might return for the good eats, but plan time in to wait if you check it out!

Wonderful atmosphere and tasty food, usually. I am a regular, eaten there almost 10 times. Twice I have been disappointed, but only on the side dish being off-flavor, the main was always excellent tasting, presented and very filling. I recommend bistec or grilled chicken entree. Service is a bit shaky... the guy is a good waiter... the others, not so much.

I ordered food through the 2Good2Go app, & picked up for delivery. The food was overall great, but the wait time was VERY long. Ordered on delivery.com at 7:37pm, got the confirmation text at 7:48, 30-45 mins delivery time, came and went, 1.5hr in I tried calling/reached out to delivery.com. At 9:38 I got a call from delivy it had “just left the restaurant”, never arrived, next day the restaurant lied and said it was delivered so I couldn’t get a refund for undelivered food.

I wanted to give this restaurant a chance even THOUGH I read the bad reviews. But I saw that the owner kept apologizing so I had sympathy and ordered from them through Seamless… What a huge mistake🤬 The order was supposed to arrive the latest 12:55 pm. I called at 1:05 pm and the lady said the order would be there shortly. No one came. So I called again over and over for the next half hour and NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. I contacted Seamless and they refunded me. Finally the delivery arrived 1 hour late. What disgusting customer service. I wouldn’t be so angry if this was an isolated incident— I can understand sometimes things happen. But the fact that so many other people have the same complaint is UNACCEPTABLE. I have asked Seamless to remove them from their list of restaurants. I don’t know what will happen, but this is just sad. The man who delivered said he didn’t know he was 1 hour late- he just did what he was told to do…so…poor communication? Not sure what’s happening.
