I wish i had taken a picture of my food when i got it but i was hungry, i got myself chilaquiles with chicken but it is a pretty heavy breakfast if you ask me, very filling and full of flavor and the staff was very nice would definitely come back again :)

First time eating here though we’ve been living in Woodside for more than a year. This is one of the best restaurants in Woodside. Serving quality food. The lady server is very attentive. Highly recommended!

This nostalgic, beautiful diner has been the heart of Woodside since forever!!! The exterior is nearly muted as you indulge in the ambience of this diner. The server and service was just purely amazing. Our food arrived in what you can say a New York min. From the eggs , french toast, pancakes, cake, pasta, and sandwich(tuna -- Yummy) ..... the list can goes on forever ( I need more space lol for every delicious plate that I had eaten at Stop Inn). Also, I swear as a vegetarian... u think ur choices are limited but no freaking way-- I can eat almost everything on this menu!! My husband is the opposite and what us--vegetarians like to call a pure meat eater and he will agree when I say meat eater will be in heaven once they taste the salmon/fish, chicken dishes and and steak entrée. Everything is always fresh, made to order and just purely delicious. Our server tonight was the owner/host and he treats you like family. He's always polite, really attentive and amazing!! I feel like I am eating at a family house and that's how lovely he is with me and my husband. You can say he is definitely the hostess with the mostess ❤️. Lastly, thank you to everyone at Stop Inn for always making our experience memoriable!!! ***The pics that I attached are from my Photojournalism class bc I love how this diner lights up our neighborhood with love and great cheer.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Stop Inn Restaurant this past Saturday, and I can't say enough good things about our experience. Our server Maria was incredibly attentive and personable. She took the time to chat with us, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her recommendations were spot-on, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! A gem, perfect for locals! My bf and I are always looking for great local eats, always considering quality of food first ambiance and service after. After finally giving this diner a chance, we were so excited to finally find the perfect diner spot nearby to enjoy all day breakfast!! The hashbrowns are so crispy and delicious, the toast is so buttery n perfect crunch, and the free coffee refills are just so needed. The service is also so attentive (Thank you Andrea & all the other servers ☺️!!!) This is my first google review but the Cinnamon Toast Crunch French toast that I had there yesterday was the best French toast I’ve ever had in my life. The taste and the texture were phenomenal, and they even added whipped cream on the side with no extra charge. The service was prompt and friendly. I will be going back just to have the French toast again.

What a lovely diner!! I stoped in before a class and had breakfast and coffee. There is booth seating and smooth jazz playing. I would definitely come back. If you are taking the 7 train to 61st St-Woodside and journeying on the bus to LGA, this is a lovely place to stop.

Such a comfy and cute diner! 😊 The staff was attentive and friendly. I could tell they were like family there and made me feel very welcomed. I had a hard time picking what to eat so they gave me all their faves as recommendations while also picking recommendations based on what I like to eat. It felt like I could relax here and enjoy the food and people versus always having to rush because they need the table in the next hour or so. The food was good! I had wayyyy to much to eat yet wish I could eat more! The hours and location are convenient. And Orlando is my favorite 😊 Will be back again soon!

Friendly, affordable. Super close to train. It's pretty clean and has one of the better outdoor cafe areas of any bar in Woodside. This is a good place to meet your friends coming in on 7 train or LIRR. Queens local vibe

The staff is always pleasant and accomodating and donuts are always fresh even late at night. The coffee could be better, I don't know if it's because of the water or the styrofoam cups, but it does not taste the same as in the city.

It is good it's home fries are amazing. The seating it what you would think everyone it split apart by 2 or 1 seat you are also split by plexiglass. The people that work there know what they are doin fast and they get the job done.

It stopped in with a friend to grab a drink and maybe get a quick bite to eat. They don't serve any food (I'm only assuming that because the bartender never approached us) so we left.

Quintessential neighborhood bar. If you're looking for something more than around seven mediocre taps and sports on cheap tvs, look elsewhere. The bartenders are lovely and welcoming in my experience.

I always want to support local business so maybe I’ll come back and give their breakfast food another shot. The dinner food was not great. All the dishes were bland and a little dry. The service was friendly but the waitress didn’t seem knowledgeable about the menu. She had to come back multiple times to get our choices on the sides that came with the dishes. The guy waiter was much more knowledgeable. The seating area is cozy and nostalgic but the biggest table was quite a tight squeeze for 5 people.

The food was just okay and the prices were completely ridiculous. I think I paid $12 for five jalapeno poppers?! And the pancakes were super mediocre. I'm assuming the only appeal here is their hours of operation and the fact that the LIRR is across the street.

I’ve been coming to this diner since I was a kid, and it used to be great. Unfortunately, my visit last week was really disappointing. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes deluxe, asked for no ham, and added a side of home fries (which they now call hash browns, though they’re really just shaved potatoes). I also asked the waitress to put the eggs and proteins on the same plate as the pancakes to avoid getting multiple plates. She rolled her eyes and seemed annoyed, which was surprising since I was actually trying to make things easier. The bacon tasted cheap and plasticky, so I didn’t eat it, even though it looked like they gave me extra. The sausage was fine, and the pancakes were just average—on the dry, slightly stale side, so they needed butter and syrup for flavor. The worst part was finding a sharp piece of plastic baked into one of the pancakes. I bit into it halfway through my meal and immediately spat it out. It completely ruined my breakfast. When I showed the waitress, she didn’t seem very concerned, and about ten minutes later she simply asked if I still wanted the pancakes, which I declined. Another issue: they don’t provide itemized receipts, so I couldn’t tell whether I was charged for the pancakes. I paid around $100 for a family of five with a $10 tip, and it definitely didn’t feel like $100 worth of food—especially considering the declining quality. Prices also vary depending on whether you pay with cash or card, which feels outdated since most people use cards or Apple Pay now. Overall, this visit was very disappointing, and I don’t plan on returning unless the diner makes some real improvements. The one bright spot was the longtime staff — they’ve been there for years and continue to be attentive and focused on good customer service.

Ordered on Uber Eats they give you the option to picked side some they charge and some don’t . I picked the turkey bacon and the home fries coming all the way from Brooklyn to pick up and take to my job . I got to my job 40 minutes later and saw that the turkey bacon was missing. I called them explained to them that it wasn’t in the bag and they told me that it wasn’t included , the problem is that If wasn’t included why didn’t they tell me when I picked it up . The guy said because he didn’t know if I wanted it or not which is obvious cause I choose it . Then he continues to say the next time I order is in the house and I said ok well I’ll go pick it up and he said no because I didn’t pay for it and o told him what the difference between it between in the house next time and picking it up now . Don’t waste your time with incompetence

The prices are ridicilous high .The place really needs renovation The tables & bench seats are so old . They need to moderize it . The bathroom is downstairs so its not wheelchair friendly . The recv Grade Pending from Health dept so place has serious issues . I wont recomend
