Avaliações de Bouchon Bakery Yountville
It’s been a while since I visited this place. But, here it goes. We tried the macarons, croissants, and a few other treats, and everything was absolutely delicious. The macarons were delicate and perfectly balanced, and the croissants were buttery, flaky, and fresh. We waited in line for about 20 minutes to get inside, which really speaks to how popular this place is, and it was completely worth it. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. A charming spot and a must visit when in the area.
Amazing bakery that we hit the day after eating at the French Laundry, and only because of the brown butter shortbread cookies we got upon leaving the latter. Way better baguette than I ever found in Paris, good but overpriced macaroons, and those amazing shortbread cookies were available for a pretty ridiculous price. All that said, I’d eat here every morning while keeping the French Laundry a one-time bucket list place.
Some of the best Croissants and pastries I have ever had. Great staff and speedy service. The beverages are great as well
Bouchon Bakery serves the best croissants I’ve ever had in my life. This place alone is worth a trip to Napa Valley. The almond croissant and pain au chocolat were both incredibly crisp, deeply buttery, and absolutely unforgettable. We also tried the ham and cheese baguette sandwich—nutty, crunchy, and so delicious that I didn’t want each bite to end. The coffee was fragrant and smooth, perfect for a morning start. It’s clearly a famous spot and usually has a long line, but we got lucky and arrived around 9 AM on a Saturday with no wait. The shop is quite small with no indoor seating, but there are a few heated outdoor tables available.
You can smell perfection before you even see this place. The aroma of freshly baked baguettes, sourdoughs, batards, and butter-laden croissants drifting through Yountville is pure heaven. Bouchon Bakery is the perfect way to start your morning; a hot latte or Americano paired with a pain au chocolat or any of their pastries is simply bliss. When we visit Napa, we begin every morning here, especially on days with early tastings when there’s no time for a sit-down breakfast. Be sure to stop by again in the afternoon, they’re turning out fresh baked goods all day long, and it’s impossible to leave empty-handed.
Despite the alluring pastries behind the glass, I thought the bread was the best thing here. The baguettes are chewy and the crust has a ton of little microblisters providing a satisfying crunch. I tried the better nutter and the TKO among other sweets, but I found them to be a bit sweet for my palette.
Went in at 9am on a sunday, no problems with the free parking lot from across the street. A line is usually present to buy stuff, but it moves fast enough. By 9:15am we were done ordering and the food was ready to pick up by 9:20am Food was lovely, almond croissant was nice, croissant was good, the cream puffs and chocolate almost croissants were solid too. Sandwich-types were also available, one we had was the smoked turkey & cheddar, and that eas lovely too. Service was great, staff were patient and the food was ready very quickly after we ordered Atmosphere was great, the design was lovely and it's a nice place for 3-4 people to have a lovely conversation at
Bouchon Bakery in Yountville is a must-visit for pastry lovers. The croissants are buttery, flaky, and perfectly baked, and my favorite was the cream cheese one which was rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. The iced coffee also hit the spot with a smooth, well-balanced blend of beans that paired perfectly with the pastries. Even with a line out the door, it moved quickly and the staff kept things friendly and efficient. The outdoor seating next to the bakery is fantastic with plenty of space to enjoy your food, relax, and soak in the charm of Yountville. Definitely one of my favorite Thomas Keller spots.
It's a bakery that's good to visit any time. The desserts of the trustworthy chef Thomas Keller never disappoint. The menu changes slightly depending on the season. The peanut butter sandwich that my boyfriend raves about is our must-have item. The coffee, which you might not expect from a bakery, is also better than expected. You always have to wait in line for at least 15 minutes, but it's worth it.
I’ll admit, I usually come here just for the macarons. But today, I decided to slow down, soak up the sun, and enjoy a caramel latte alongside my pistachio and passionfruit macarons. The flavors remain as exquisite as ever—comfortingly familiar yet always indulgent. Traveling from SoCal makes each visit a bit of a journey, but the peaceful ambiance, with birdsong in the background on a crisp, sunny day, makes it all worthwhile. For those craving a refined treat, these macarons are a luxurious delight worth every bite.
Very cute place in Napa Valley, loved their pastries, service could be more kind and helpful, people around us were very kind.
We went last weekend as part of my partners birthday celebration. There was a line but it went quickly. The pastries were really good. We had the only vegetarian breakfast sandwich option, which was better than the pastries in my opinion. They do have non-dairy options available for coffee. I rated this a 4/5 due to the lack of vegetarian options and service. Perhaps it was due to the line, I realize how difficult that be for staff, but the service we received felt rushed with an emphasis on getting us out rather than providing memorable customer service. I would return for the sandwich alone.
Stopped in between our winery tours to butter up our stomachs. I’ve been to their NYC location once, but it didn’t leave a huge impression. The OG location had more varieties, so I was excited to give them a try. The bakery itself was quite small, so we had to wait in line for about 15 minutes before placing our order. The outdoor patio area was nice, and we were able to snag a table without much wait. We ordered the signature almond croissant, maple bacon danish, and the cream cheese danish. The almond croissant was good, but by today’s standards, it felt a bit plain. Almond croissant game is pretty intense these days, and maybe this was the gold standard when Chef Keller opened in 2003. Not bad, just not worth the wait, unless you’re stopping by the original Yountville location for nostalgia’s sake. Maple bacon danish was visually interesting. A full strip of bacon wrapped within Danish layers. But since both were served at room temp, the bacon texture felt oddly limp and out of place. More novelty than satisfying. The cream cheese danish was my favorite of the three. Outer layers had a great crunch, and the cream cheese filling had the right balance. Just enough sugar to lift without overpowering.
We came to Bouchon Bakery in Napa Valley, which is famous for its handmade bread, traditional French desserts and handmade Viennese bread. In addition to these, it also offers freshly made salads daily, a variety of coffees and a selection of desserts such as tarts, cookies and other small snacks. We bought Macarons and Viennese bread: Including classic croissants and chocolate croissants In short, Bouchon Bakery is a bakery that provides high-quality bread, desserts and coffee to satisfy the taste buds of people who like to enjoy gourmet food.
This bakery tries to fit the huge area into a tiny little building. Stick to the croissant and simple baked goods. We got the have and cheese, an oh oh, a chocolate macaron, and a kouign-amann. The oh oh is basically a fancy ho-ho. The chocolate macaron was ok but was much more a raspberry macaron and not chocolate. The kouign-amann was incredibly tasty and had some delicious caramelization. The sandwich was almost terrible, its is small and you do not get to appreciate the bread, also they toast the mustard.
