Glad i came to try there steak, was juicy, flavorful, tender. Just amazing. Salad was fresh, bread was not bad fluffy soft and warm. Service was on point everyone had a smile on there face i sat at the bar and my bertender was great and recommended some steaks, and i didn't feel rushed to order. Overall steak was 81/2 out of 10 would definetley come back try other dishes and steaks for sure .

Stopped in for an early dinner. I ordered the Half & Half, my husband got the New York Strip, and my daughter got the Salmon steak. We were disappointed they didn’t have the ribeye bites but the food we ordered was very good. Our server was very nice too. Overall it was a good experience, but it is very pricey. We will definitely go back though.

Great food. The sauteed mushrooms were really great. The chicken fried steak was huge! We never did get bread, but I saw other tables get some. It was Saturday night at 6, and busy, so I get it. That also accounted for 3 other folks getting served at the bar who came in after us. I had the salmon which was good, but a bit overcooked. The fried okra was good too. Chicken fried steak was fork-tender - delicious! Mixed review, I know.

Truly the best ribeye steak I’ve ever had! My momma and I go here as much as we can! We stop through here every time we go to and from ft worth! So juicy always cooked to perfection kid friendly everybody is super friendly with awesome service and absolutely amazing food! Plenty of parking plenty of parking as well as extremely accessible to handicap! Family will love it, very kid friendly, clean! Highly recommend!

Excellent food and dining experience! The first inviting thing I noticed was the delicious smokey scent that greated me into their restaurant from their parking lot. Great steaks, and a variety of entrees and exotic foods plates like quail and frog legs. Their breading is delicious and fried to perfection. Nice, relaxed, and picturesque dining environment. Fast and friendly service.

Came here just before 5pm dinner rush. What an amazing steakhouse. The staff are respectful and knowledgeable about their cuisine. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the ambience is on point for a serious steakhouse with many remnants of old Texas. I had the quail legs as an appetizer and my main was the Abilinean steak, cooked medium rare with grilled mushrooms and a loaded baked potato. Outstanding place to splurge on quality and I would highly recommend.

This is a good, healthy meal. Service is slow, so not the place if you're in a hurry. Chicken was a bit dry, but the vinaigrette dressing fixed that. Good salsa has a bit of sweetness to it.

My husband went on a lunch date here for his birthday. Nice waiter and good food. My husband got the Sharon ($46) and I got the Ribeye bytes ($23). I was a little irritated they up-charge the macaroni and cheese $4.00! That’s pretty excessive for macaroni and cheese. My steak bytes were actually better seasoned than the Sharon steak and I felt they were fairly reasonably priced. Overall I would come again, and we did enjoy the food. Was it worth the hefty produce tag? Probably not, so we would order differently.

Let me start off by saying we have eaten here quite a bit and have always enjoyed it. Well, until last night Dec. 23, 2025. The stars i gave above are for the many times we have eaten here and for last night. Would have probably been 5 stars across the board. Anyways, we (my family of 4) get seated with smiling faces and greeted with a rather enthusiastic waiter. He is very friendly and talkative, eager to help us get our drinks and meals. He asks us for our drink order and asks if we want bread. My wife and kids like the bread so the answer is yes. He leaves as im looking at my wife wondering why we didnt get asked if we wanted appetizers. So he brings our drinks and bread back happy as can be and asks if we are ready to order. Surprisingly ( to my surprise) we all were. So he takes my wife's order (wife and daughter usually always share). She orders steak and baked potatoes. He enthusiastically askes if she wants the potato loaded, sour cream, cheese, chives and she says yes please. Takes my son's order, which he gets the baked tater with steak bits or bites. Then he takes mine. I order the chicken fried chicken mashed taters and green beans. I have had this and the pork chops which have always been great. He says now this comes with either white or brown gravy, and I say ill take the brown, im fine with either but prefer the brown. He says ok then proceeds to take the menus. I say can we get a couple appetizers and order the full order of poppers cause they always have an awesome smoky flavor to them. I also order the skillet queso ( my kids love it) and as I order im pointing to it for no particular reason and he looks down at my finger as I point to it and says no problems sir. He leaves and promptly returns with drinks and queso. Just regular queso. I say oh we ordered the skillet queso, the one I pointed to on the menu. Then I look at my son and ask him if I said "skillet" queso and he said yes. Just checking incase I screwed up. He said sorry ill take this and get the right one and I said thank you. He returned with the correct queso and was silent. He all of a sudden lost his chipperness. Actually he didnt say much to us after that. Someone else brought our main course out. The wife's loaded baked potato was just a potato, no extras, so she told the deliverer that and received the extras which she added and my chicken fried chicken and mashed taters had the cream gravy instead of the brown. When I got my food I just began eating and the wife said didnt you order the brown gravy and I said I sure did but whatever its fine. We finished eating and I go to the restroom. I get back and the wife said they brought the check but she sent it back because we were being charged for the little queso that we did not order and the waiter had taken back to correct. So im guessing it was the manager that showed up to our table again (cause she delivered our food) and asked about the receipt. We told her the problem and she took the little queso off and also discounted our meal and extra $1.50 for the troubles. We never heard or saw our waiter again at our table. Worse experience we have had at Lytle. Which im not happy about since I've always enjoyed eating here.

Was told by a customer service agent at the airport to check out Lytle. I was impressed upon walking in with the size and decorations. However, a lot of that ended when I sat at the bar, which was virtually empty, and received very lackluster service. I could understand if the bar and restaurant were busy, but they were not. After a lot of reflection after leaving I realized that I was ignored many times by the staff. I wasn't even asked if I wanted water, bread (which was complimentary, and after asking for it was super dry), or a bag for my leftovers. After receiving the smallest steak on earth (which was a 4 oz filet mignon for $28?!), and two sets of green beans which were salty, I had to hurry to the airport. While waiting for my food I had to swat off several flies from dropping in my old fashioned, which was actually decent. However, I would not return for a juicy steak due to the service. I hope this improves in the future.
