The friendly waitress seems straight out of a fairy tale, with a smile so warm that for a moment you forget you're about to pay a hefty price for what appears to be a culinary masterpiece… until you taste the food. The dishes, while visually promising, have one problem: the flavor. Sometimes, you wonder if the kitchen has an exclusive contract with a cardboard factory, because some bites have more texture than taste. It's not that the food is terrible, but it definitely doesn't live up to the prices. Each bite leaves you with the feeling that you paid more for the air conditioning than for the ingredients. That said, the experience does have its high points. The place is spotless, the atmosphere comfortable, and the waitress could make you feel at home even if she served you an empty plate. It's an ideal restaurant if you're looking for friendly service and a cool atmosphere... as long as you don't arrive with high culinary expectations. In short, Maxi is the perfect place to enjoy excellent weather and top-notch service. The food, on the other hand, is a reminder that appearances can be deceiving, and that not everything expensive is delicious. Would you go back? Maybe, but not without spending a little extra.

Everything was terrible. It was 9:20 when my dad ordered memelas, empanadas, etc. They told us it would take 35 minutes, we waited for over an hour and it didn't arrive (it was an order). It was 10:20 and it still hadn't arrived. After a few minutes it finally arrived, but the memelas didn't. They told us we could get empanadas if we wanted. About ten minutes passed while we were going crazy thinking about it, and then they told us there was no more service. The whole thing was awful, terrible service. Don't go there.
