We went to celebrate my mom’s 75th birthday & we were not disappointed. She loved her cocktails; the mezcal was smoky and balanced and it was not too sweet. We had camarones tlacoyo, pork belly tacos, pesca del dia & the short rib. Everything was cooked perfectly, had great flavour & was presented beautifully. Our server was awesome, attentive but not overbearing & happily answered questions. This was upscale dining but with 100% authentic local flavours. Worth every peso

Our family had a wonderful time at Augustina. We were attracted by the decor. We were not disappointed. Service, food and atmosphere wonderful. We sat on the terrace, enjoying our drinks and meals while people-watching. We dont speak Spanish.. but owner was very welcoming.. and our server went out of her way to take great care of us. She had a great sense of humor over our fractured language skills. Everything we ate and drank was fantastic.. and struck me as a bit more sophisticated than we experienced elsewhere. Will go again next trip!!

It was a very nice experience having dinner at Angustina. It was what they promised. The quality of the food is a notch above the usual. Much more gourmet. I had hoped for more Home cooked style, but that was my fault. Everything was great and the service wonderful. For me the food was a bit too fussy. Again, that was my expectation, not the restaurant. And I highly recommend it for people looking for a more fancy gourmet experience in Zihua.

We went here on recommendation of a friend. There was no one else there we we were worried about it since it was a Saturday evening. We decided to try an appetizer and tried the Pork belly tacos. THEY WERE AWSOME. So good. All tables have a view of the promenade, and you can people watch. We did not order anything else we decided to try another place, since we had only 1 more night and wanted to try as many places as possible. I recommend this place.

The most creative cocktails in Zihuatanejo! We are visiting for a week and have come for cocktails whenever they are open. Tonight we had a full dinner and it was beautifully cooked, wonderful service. Highly recommend the pork shank, octupus, and catch of the day. Absolutely stop here if you visit Zihuatanejo.

Loved it the first time, so we came back! Great cocktails, most are made with in house mezcal and local ingredients. Dinner 2 nights ago night was empanadas, the snapper w/ a delicious tomato sauce and the tuna..mmmmm. Last night was the Rib eye, and the pork belly special both with amazing purees and sauces.

We came here after seeing photos of an intriguing menu and excellent dishes, and now we are going to contribute the same in this review. The restaurant opened at 15:00 and we were there anticipating this as our choice for an early supper (or late lunch). We were seated in slightly uncomfortable chairs, but when asked, the manager moved a large fan closer to us so we could cool down from a hot walk around town. The table was clean and the waiter placed nice paper place mats down as we were served our first drinks. We started with water and coke but upgraded to cocktails later. All the drinks were tasty and the cocktails were among the nicest we've had in Zihua. For a shared appetizer we had the Nejitas - three warm folded tortillas with a filling of huitlacoche (corn smut) and with the best guacamole we've ever had and a couple of delicious salsas! After eating the Nejitas, the waiter offered fried yucca and sweet potato chips so we could finish the salsas off. For our mains, we order the Chamorro (pork loin, perfectly roasted with a nice crunchy skin) and the Tuna Chepinita! We had no room for dessert but really wanted to try the three types of churros. Our waiter was polite, attentive and gracious. She spoke no English, which we found refreshing and we enjoyed practicing our Spanish (por ahora = a few more minutes). The bathrooms are clean and stylish. We will make a return trip here.

The food was excellent, great service. No one seemed to speak much English but we were able to communicate just fine. The mezcal drinks were awesome, food even better. We got the catch of the day and the octopus. The sauces were incredibly flavorful. Must try when in Zihua!

Great spot with excellent cocktail and beer selections. They don't have anything vegan on the menu, however, so I was limited to guacamole (hold the cheese) and cocktails. Had a great time, though, and the service is impeccable.

Thank goodness we overlooked the few bad ratings-cause this place is awesome! My husband loves craft beer and great food. This place has both. Along with artisanal mezcal. The food was excellent with different take on guacamole that was savory! Go, if you like something different.

Angustina Mezcal&Cocina, un lugar excepcional donde se puede degustar de la rica y variada gastronomía del mar, cocina de autor. Paladea de su Mezcal exquisito del estado de Guerrero. Ubicados en un lugar estratégico del puerto de Zihuatanejo.

Excelente lugar en Zihuatanejo para tomar mezcal y cerveza artesanal de la región como la Capricho del Rey. La comida es rica y sobretodo la amabilidad.

Recomiendo el menú de este lugar, especialmente las tostadas y los tacos muy ricos y con sazón. El aguachile estaba un tanto salado. Pocas bebidas. El servicio, nos comentó era nueva y sin experiencia pero con mucha actitud.

Both tacos were delicious, and much larger than the normal street taco size. The lacquered octopus tacos were delicious, however the octopus was a bit too tough. The pork belly tacos were simply delicious. Even the 'fat' section of them was tasty and not too fatty. The pork shank was falling off the bone.

Maracuya-mezcal drink was delicious, we ordered several appetizers, catch of the day ceviche was amazing, but everything else we tried was just fine. The fish birria was the least that I liked. My daughter ate the tortilla chips and ate some of the guacamole. There were not many options for kids, but we made it work.

Este lugar es una buena opción para comida y/o cena. Es un restaurante acogedor, con buena atención y un gran sabor en sus platillos. Probé la barbacoa de pescado, la tártara de pez vela, las tostadas tiesas, el envuelto de requesón, los crocantes, el chamorro al muy muy, el chilatequile y el helado de coco. De lo anterior, tienes que ordenar sí o sí las tostadas tiesas, el tamal de requesón en hoja de plátano, el chamorro y el helado de coco, (cabe mencionar que la porción de chamorro es basta, perfecta para 2 personas). Observaciones: - Aceptan tarjetas de crédito y débito como método de pago adicional al efectivo. - Para los que toman mezcal, aquí tienen buenas opciones. - Se encuentra en el centro de Zihuatanejo, después de comer o cenar, puedes plácidamente caminar a los alrededores, hay galerías, más restaurantes y un gran ambiente. De Noviembre a Febrero el clima en Ixtapa es de 24 a 29 grados centígrados y queda perfecto caminar en esa zona. - El servicio en cocina es un tanto lento, por lo que ve con tiempo y con hambre moderada. - Para acceder en silla de ruedas, hay que solicitar ayuda, aunque se encuentra a nivel calle, hay escalones.

Los precios ya cambiaron, a comparación de los q salen en las fotos y referencias de Google (30/12/2021). La mezcalina de pepino que recomendó la mesera no estaba buena, el ceviche verde si estaba muy bueno , pequeño pero bueno. Y no tenían cerveza pacífico.

La atención es buena, pero se le subieron los humos al restaurante por los premios del chef, rica la comida pero para el precio NO LO VALE! Aparte de que el menú es muy poco extenso, variedad un poco

Muy pésimo servicio, completamente malinchistas, realmente ni nos atendieron, se tardaron muchísimo en la comida, para que no la tuvieran lista, terminamos cancelando, llegaron mas personas después de nosotros y a esos si les sirvieron comida, gracias por nada

Mal servicio, no pudimos probar la comida porque tardan demasiado en servir, más de 45min y no llego mi servicio, no tenían cervezas que porque no habían llegado. Nos consiguieron. Unas y de 8 latas normales pague 680 pesos, exagerado el costo. No tuve una buena experiencia, ya que en cualquier restaurante que voy si pido mesa para 10 o más inmediato me la preparan y aquí no, ni el intento hicieron de prepararla
