If there is such a thing as perfection you'll find it here. The best rooms, service reaching levels unfathomable at times, the food good enough to be Michelin star level and the view, breathtaking in different ways as the sun moves across the horizon. I couldn't be more grateful for the love and personal service shown us. It felt like going to a friend's house after a while. Thank you to all for making our stay absolute perfection.

My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary here and it was spectacular. The hotel was wonderful, and we really miss our outdoor shower and private pool. The staff was amazing and attended to our every need. I highly recommend you visit.

I was optimistic seeing the great reviews here, however all expectations were exceeded. First of all the service from all staff is impeccable. Carmen and Luis kept us so well cared for with food/drink/transport/reservations etc.. We stayed in the Alejandra suite and I can't say enough about how perfect it was. Having the outdoor plunge pool was integral to a visit in the off-season heat. Being able to enjoy the views from the balcony while remaining cool in the pool was such a welcome refuge. The food at the restaurant is fine dining in the evenings and my birthday dinner was so special. I even had a special birthday breakfast. Breakfast daily served by Luis couldn't be a better start to each day. Fresh fruit, yogurt and granola to start followed by a daily changing main hot course with a spectacular view. The location is situated almost ideally between the town and the main tourist beach La Ropa. You can walk to each area, but would suggest a taxi ride due to the "hike" to get down from the the property. The taxi rank is a block away so rides are quick and incredibly cheap. All together, Tentaciones provides everything needed for a relaxing escape from the hustle/bustle of daily life. It truly is an enchanting destination to recharge and feel pampered if only for a time.

Always a 5 star experience! The view is the prettiest in the entire world - maybe I am biased as Zihuatanejo is my fav vacation spot - but truthfully in all my travels the location, view, vibe and service is not what people would expect for Mexico! I brought my gf and my husband another night and for both it was their first time, and both will remember it as the best view they have ever seen. Food is great too - set menu so if you aren’t into that I still highly suggest going for the experience and view alone!! A must must go if your in the area!!

Go here! The view, the menu, the staff are outstanding. They were extremely accomdating of my girlfriend's food sensitivities (FODMAP). North American Restaurants would learn a lot from Tenataciones on how to deal with food allergies. The 5 course menu was absolutely amazing, they're custom cocktails use unique flavour combinations that really amazed me. Most restaurants would be excellent with everything I already mentioned, but the view....that's the piece to resistance.

Everything was really good, the Mexican design and the food, the dinner experience is delightful, with all the flavors and combinations they use left me speechless, the sunset view, the sea, the lights, the service was great. We celebrate our anniversary here. Great time at tentaciones. Thank you. Gracias qué orgullo mexicano haber sido parte de ustedes, espero volver pronto.

Don't let the steep driveway scare you away. At the top you will find nirvana. After a 6 month covid hiatus, Tentaciones is open and still amazing. The perfect location serving exquisite dishes with impeccable attention. Temptations satisfied!

Amazing small hotel!!! Stayed for a long weekend had the best time relaxed, ate amazing food and drank some margaritas. Everyone was very kind and amazing service. Can’t wait to go back

The prixfixe menue was exceptional blending complex flavors without loosing the subtly of the individual elements. The staff were on the next level for courtesy and attentiveness. The awe-inspiring view of zihuatanejo and the sunset is alone worth the journey.

This restaurant came highly recommended to us and it exceeded our expectations! The service was outstanding, the five course set menu was absolutely delicious, and the view was breathtaking. We can't say enough good things. We went here for a special night out on our honeymoon, and it was just perfect. A big thanks to the staff! 10/10 would recommend. We will be back on our next visit to Zihuatanejo!

Hotel Tentaciones is a special place that has a five star hotel and a five star restaurant. Finding foodie places in Mexico is a challenge but this is the foodie place in Zihua and you can stay overnight as a bonus. We stayed in the Thalia Suite and it was great. The suite is huge with a high thatched roof, large bathroom with two showers and a balcony with stunning views. The hotel is up the hill so the views from anywhere in the hotel are excellent. The Thalia Suite is one level higher than the other suites and gets you a better view. The service is great from the pre booking process to transportation to meeting your needs when on-site. Carmen, the Sales Manager, and Salvatore, the overall Manager, answers your every question and request with efficiency and a smile. My Wife and I are admittedly high maintenance travelers and Carmen, Salvatore, Luis and the rest of the staff took good care of us and treated us like Family. The breakfast (included) is excellent and main breakfast entrée changes each day. At 6 PM, the pool and common areas of the hotel transform into a five star restaurant that attracts lots of outside diners. We knew this in advance and had no issue with it as the revenue from the restaurant supports the hotel/suites. There are only a handful of suites so you share the whole place, including a beautiful infinity pool with views, with only a handful of couples during the day. We had the five course menu one night at the restaurant and it was great. The quality of the food, ambiance and ingredients are outstanding. We also went to their sister restaurant, Espuma (short walk down the hill), and really liked its a la carte menu and the Oceanside setting. We also ordered lunch at the pool at the hotel; the menu is concise but excellent. It mostly includes fresh salads and fish ceviche (fresh and very yummy). The lunch food comes from Espuma. Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Tentaciones for its unique suites and five star service and foodie experience. If/when we return to Zihua - we will definitely be back.

This a very special place and it's our choice for our anniversary dinner every year - the serviceice, the food and the view are all memorable. Although the menu is set, they totally accommodate any dietary requirement. The vegetarian option is as gourmet as the main menu. We cannot praise Tentaciones enough.

Amazing location, just the most breathtaking views. If you don't stay here, just come for sunset even, but this place is beautiful. The staff are lovely, and if its peace, quiet, comfort and a great view, this is the place. Dinner was also exquisite, and Salvador is a great host. Genuinely, thank you

This restaurant is heaven on earth! The chef teases your taste buds with so many different flavors and combinations that I can only say......WOW!!!!!! To top this the view will drop your jaw to the floor the whole evening! Do not miss the sunset appetizer. The entire staff sets the service bar high! Can't wait to get back again!!

The perfect gateway for couples! We had a wonderful experience in both the hotel & the restaurant for 4 days! I highly recommend this little paradise on a top of a hill: you will enjoy a superb view on the bay, delicious food (top chef!), and amazing service. Muchas gracias Tentaciones!

Excellent hotel and restaurant. The lighting is amazing. So beautiful at night! Every detail perfectly done. The view of Zihuatanejo Bay is gorgeous. Very friendly, attentive staff. They anticipate your every need. A truly wonderful experience.

We vacationed in the quaint town of Zihuatanejo this Christmas (2015). Tentaciones was suggested to us as a location for our date night (with 2 young boys it's rare). We were told it would be one of the best dining experiences we might have here. As we climbed the hill and enter the property through the huge rod iron gates it's clear there has been attention to detail. Everything is spotless and immaculately maintained. Entering the building and climb ing higher (the property is atop a hill), you have a feeling you're entering a castle. I was struck by the artwork as we climbed higher, and the ambiance. The rooftop terrace is spectacular, with infinity pools and a view that showcases the whole bay. I suggest getting there for sunset. The service was warm, friendly and professional. The house cocktail was a mix of sweet, ice and bursting with flavour. I found the food incredible. Each of the five courses had a distinct flavour, with flakey light pastries, rich sauces, and delectable greens. By North American standards the price was very good (approx $80 per plate before drinks). Salvador (who runs the restaurant) came by to introduce himself, and was charming and warm. They truly made it feel like we were special and it was a special night. I'd urge anyone to try it. It one of my top dining experiences of all time.

My friend and I went for dinner to celebrate her milestone birthday, and I could not have been happier with the food the service and the amazing view. If you are celebrating something special or just want to spoil yourself, this is definitely the place to be.

I loved everything about the property! It's a perfect indoor outdoor boutique hotel. There are only 4 rooms here which made it feel extremely exclusive and private. The views alone made it worth the price. The ambiance is very luxurious and romantic. It is also a restaurant so getting dinner was easy. I stayed in the Alejandra suite with the private pool and watching the sunsets from there were breath taking. The service was also top tier. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I felt right at home! The rooms also have AC to keep you cool. Location is great. Only a 3-5 minute walk to La ropa beach and even closer via taxi. Very close to the central market.

Amazing view over the bay, and the sunset is well worth climbing the many flights of stairs. The staff are friendly and professional, and make an absolutely effort to make you feel special. The cocktails were delicious, and the 5-course dinner was exquisite.

Fixed menu meal was outstanding. 2 options for each of the 5 courses. Probably the best view in all of Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa. Highly recommend. Service was perfect in every way. Very romantic setting. Our reservation missed the sunset (Our fault). We would definitely try and time our next visit to coincide with it.

Fantastic location high above La Ropa with unparalleled unobstructed views of the bay. Book a reservation ahead of time for 6pm to catch the sunset. The food is amazing with a prix fixe menu that changes often. The cost is $2,260 pesos per person and definitely worth it!

We had a beautiful dinner here, this restaurant is the epitome of class. The food was incredibly high quality and inventive. We indulged in the entire 5 courses. Service was outstanding, it couldn’t have been a better experience, recommend 100% for a special evening.

Splurge. Generally speaking, I think fancy restaurants are overrated… I’m happy to have a few $1 tamales from a street vendor. This place is the exception, though: @tentaciones.hotel_restaurant ❤️We’ve been bringing our family to Tentaciones for over 10 years now. It’s the total package: amazing view of Zihuatanejo Bay, dining beside an infinity pool, crafted tropical drinks, amazing food and attentive, personable waitstaff, particularly the manager Salvador. Anyone visiting Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa should check it out.

We had an excellent dinner at Tentaciones Restaurant. My entire adult family went there for my brother’s birthday. We were so impressed to be presented with a customized menu – printed with his name on it. And, also he was presented a birthday dessert with his name on it. The service is top notch, the food is very good (including vegan options!) and the view is excellent. Plus the special touches made our evening so memorable – we are very, very grateful to have had this experience.

Beyond amazing. The service here is easily the best we’ve ever had anywhere. They took the time to make sure our anniversary dinner was perfection and everything we ate we couldn’t stop talking about. Just so so good. And the views…the best in zihuatanejo by far. You won’t be disappointed. They really go above and beyond and the attention to detail is amazing.

We ate dinner here on my 40th a few years back. It was absolutely fabulous. Food is amazing. They only serve a 5 course menu, with two options..... Edit. Came back 4 years later for my father in laws 70th birthday. Just as amazing as we remembered. The attention to detail and everything about the place is just amazing. Id give 10 stars if possible. Thank you Salvadore💓

The food was very good and the service incredible. However it is not made for handicapped people there are too many stairs. And we come from a place where smoking is not allowed in a restaurant and there were two smokers which when you get used to not having smoking really bothers you and affects your meal.... 110 us per person if you have a drink and bottled water.
