We recently visited JewBoy Burgers, and I have to say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We tried the Detroit Rock City and The JewBoy Burger, and both were absolute knockouts. The Detroit Rock City is a masterpiece. The combination of flavors is brilliantly balanced, the richness of the cheese, and the perfectly seasoned beef patty create a harmony that’s hard to beat. It’s a burger that doesn’t just satisfy but leaves a lasting impression. Then there’s The JewBoy Burger, which is equally spectacular. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor, complemented by the unique blend of ingredients that make this burger truly special. The toppings were fresh and added just the right amount of crunch and zing. And let’s not forget the special fries—crispy, golden, and seasoned to perfection. They were the perfect accompaniment to the burgers, providing a delightful crunch with every bite. Overall, JewBoy Burgers offers a burger experience that’s second to none. The creativity and quality in every dish are evident, and I can’t wait to go back for more. Highly recommended!

The place is tastefully decorated, the service is great with super friendly staff and the food is AMAZING. Sincerely it is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The onion rings were super tasty and so was the line up of sauces. A must visit in Austin. Their unique soda selection is spot on as well. Great spot!!!

One of my favorite burger joints in Austin! It’s located north of downtown, but it’s in a pretty great spot off Airport. Their Jew Boy burger is always cooked to perfection - and I also recommend the Oy Vay Guey burger! The queso is so delicious - try the fries and the queso together! Plus, their staff is always so helpful and always in a good mood! The owner is pretty active! Usually visits the location and even helps with taking orders! Can’t wait to revisit!

Amazing burgers and top notch customer service! This is probably one of my favorite burger joints I’ve been too and wish they would open up a location in Houston because I’d make them rich just by myself. The fries were some of the best I ever eaten from a restaurant. The cheese dip was so good. The latke was very good. The atmosphere was great. The Oy Vay Guey burger was simply amazing and everything in the burger just meshed together perfectly and was just incredible. From now on anytime I come to Austin this place is a must

Great tunes from the 70s and 80s. Impressive menu. Fun place. But more importantly, their burgers and fries are wonderful. Loved the melted cheddar. Patty was slightly too salty. Not sure which I liked better, the tots or crinkle fries. Both were crisp and full of potato flavor. It's a family favorite and where the birthday boy wanted to go. Glad we did.

Highly recommend this place. Great food. Burgers and lahtke are amazing. There is not much indoor seating, and you will probably have a line to wait in at certain times. Still, none of that matters. Food and service are high quality.

Really great burger! Both burgers were cooked to perfection, at medium. We got the jewboy and there wasnt a crumb left. In a smash burger style with delicious onions as well. Not to mention the onion rings and ranch were sooo delicious. We Will be coming back the next time we’re in Austin! also the vibes of the place were great, cool story and creative burger names

Loved everything about this place. Food was good. The only service, was the guy who took our order. He was on point, even entertaining in a way. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is limited in the lot, but you can park in the neighborhood. Great vibe.

I have been hearing about Jew Boy Burgers for years and finally made my way to Austin, TX to try it out. It did not disappoint! Everything was fantastic - from the service, to the atmosphere, to the quality of the food. Hands down, deserves the Best Burger of Austin award!! Run, don't walk, to try out this amazing spot.

I walked in and was immediately met with an insane smell. It smelled amazing in there. Everything looked so cool, and the service was insanely fast. I ordered a Jewboy burger and let me just say it is the best burger I have EVER had in my life. Holy shit.

Been wanting to check this joint out for sometime since I moved to Austin. The atmosphere is amazing, especially since I’m a wrestling fan. Great decor on the walls. Glad to see a guy from Cleveland and Philly excelling in Texas! Got the Jewboy burger with bacon and latkes. I try to keep it simple so I can have a consistent base to judge against other burger. It had a great taste with some soft bun action (SBA). Latkes over fries is a nice move and I like staying true to the heritage. I saw many other tasty options here and I bet they all taste amazing. Seems like a great choice if you’re local. My only gripe would be that it’s somewhat pricey, but then again, everything is getting that way these days. I highly recommend you come out and try Jewboy burger. Come support your local businesses and avoid chains!

I’ve got lots of places I love in Austin for burgers, but Jewboy is always on top. On top of the unique flavors and amazing fresh ingredients, the staff here steals the show. Every single person you talk to will be friendly and helpful. The owner is one of the most down to earth person you will meet and is always making the rounds, talking with customers. Truly feels like home.

Fantastic burgers. Large fries portions, enough to share. Very crispy. I think the owner was there taking our order at the register. Nice man. We had the new boy burger and the goyim. And then a couple beers. Wish there was more indoor seating but we did come at a busy lunch time. A bit of a line, which is always a good sign at establishments like this. Will try their other locations when we return

This place had great juicy tasting hamburgers but even better was the friendly staff. Genuinely happy to provide suggestions and tasty condiments ( smoked mayo ~ 😋 yummy). The potato onion flavored latkes were a nice hot & crispy alternative to fries & onion rings. Try them with the sour cream. Staff were laughing and helping bring food to elderly customers, it was just so refreshing to see young, happy, staff. Lots of seating outdoors; however, they could use a bit more parking around the building. This place is BUSY for a great reason. Nice selection of beer too!

Saw JewBoy on Texas Bucket List not too long ago and I pass it on a regular basis making deliveries. Since I had time to sit down for lunch I made sure I came to try it out. There was a short line on Thursday at Noon and service was great not a long wait at all for a delicious mustard burger. I got the standard JewBoy 1/3. Now…..the onion rings here melt in your mouth! Perfect batter and flavor profile definitely the best in Austin hands down! 🫠 If you love onion rings this is your place💥 My favorite thing about the JewBoy burger was it’s perfect size that doesn’t leave me bloated into misery and could enjoy both the stellar onion rings and my burger without needing a tow truck to get me out of there. Definitely worth the stop and I’ll be back again for certain. ✌️

Don’t miss this hidden gem next time you make a trip to the Austin area! A friendly staff mixed with a casual atmosphere - and let’s not forget the superb menu - make Jewboy Burgers one of our latest favorites dining stops. The Jewboy burger is top notch, but what came as an unexpected surprise was the Puro Picadillo burrito. Super filling, flavorful and satisfying! Be sure to try some chips and queso while you’re at it. Jewboy also has an ample fountain drink selection…lemonade, root beer, cream soda, mexican coke and more. Stop debating about where to go for lunch or dinner and just make it a Jewboy day!

Able to visit Austin TX and was introduced to JewBoy Burgers. Small but amazing place to eat. Only place I have found to get real Hatch green chili outside of New Mexico and it was amazing. Highly recommended to all either passing through or living in town. It’s a must stop for me now. Amazing food, service with a smile and clean. Indoor, patio and outside seating. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Update!!!! Today... Stopped in today while we are here visiting and we all agree this place is FANTASTIC!! We will say it again... if you live in Austin or surrounding areas or if you are visiting make it a point to come in for a burger!!!! Damn Good!! We were hungry for a cheeseburger and used Google Maps to locate a restaurant with both good ratings and reviews and tge search led us here to: "Jewboy Burgers " The place is extremely easy to find with your G.P S. but parking spaces fill quickly surround the building but were full when we arrived. I've included photo's of the menu and a few of the restaurant. Everyone (STAFF) working when we walked in were dealing with other customers so that gave us time to study the menu and to decide on what sounded the best at that moment. Vivana (working the register) was extremely helpful (and extremely knowledgeable) and she helped us decide what we wanted We both ordered the Jewboy Cheeseburger and a large order of fries to split and let me tell you those burgers were FANTASTIC.. NOT A BITE WAS WASTED. I had also order a Vanilla milkshake (pricy but good) If you've live anywhere near here and have never eaten..... STOP IN AND EAT.!!

So my friend has been raving about how amazing Jewboy Burgers are, and I got to find out tonight. I have to admit that this food truck serves one of the best burgers I've ever had. They are juicy, covered in cheesy goodness with just the right amount of heat from the peppers and mustard, and of course a potato bun. So freaking good, definitely a five star burger!!!! If in Austin definitely worth stopping by and trying. And most of the burgers are under $10, so you can't go wrong.

This was my first time trying this establishment, and usually when there's a line going outside that's typically a good sign. I tried the regular Jew boy burger with tater tots and then I got the Detroit Rock City burger. Because they get their beef locally and it's fresh, I felt that it actually offered more flavor than your other typical burger joint. Inside the place was you know your typical looking austin-ish type of place, but it does have a cool luchador vibe to it. I would come back more and more if it wasn't so far of a drive for me.

C
Camila Davila

Amazing burgers, and well worth the drive. Everything about this place was awesome. The onion rings were perfect, as were the sauces. I asked the girls at the counter if I could have some extra sauce since it was so good, and they were very nice. We also ordered a cookies & cream malt to share, and we wished we had ordered two. I can't wait to be back!

Bun in a million 🍔 Highlights: •Burgers •Potato Latkes •Homeboy Chile Con Queso Review: Been eating these burgers for years and they never miss. Can never go wrong with the classic Jewboy burger that packs a punch of flavor from the melted cheese, spice from the mustard, juiciness from the burger, butteriness from the Potato roll and all elevated with the addition of crispy thick bacon. The star however was the Otay Vay Guey Burger which had hints of spice from the roasted hatch chiles, nice charr on the patty, nice kick from the mustard and all deliciously covered in pepper jack cheese. Can’t wait to go back and try their other burgers. Rating: 10/10 THE JEWBOY 1/3 lb freshly ground beef smashed over sautéed onions on a wicked hot flat top grill. Flipped once, topped with two slices of cheese then steamed to melty perfection. Finally it’s placed on a fresh Martin’s Potato roll. Topped with chopped lettuce, pickles & mustard. (Add Bacon) OY VAY GUEY (WAY) A JewBoy patty topped with roasted Hatch Green Chiles then covered with steamed pepper jack cheese with a little mustard on the bottom bun.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a restaurant that has redefined the classic burger experience. Not only did they craft mouthwatering burgers that were juicy and full of flavor, but they also accompanied them with the best onion rings I've ever tasted. Crispy, golden-brown, and perfectly seasoned, these onion rings were a delight with every bite. The restaurant's commitment to quality extended beyond their burgers and sides - their selection of craft beers was outstanding. The combination of the delectable burgers, irresistible onion rings, and perfectly paired craft beers made for an extraordinary dining experience that surpassed all expectations.

There are plenty of reasons why this place is always ranked as the top 3 not just in Austin, but in all of Texas (dare I say the USA? The answer is YES). Let’s start with the quality of meat. K&C Cattle is a local premier ranch that delivers some of the most juicy and flavorful meat for miles and miles. The combination and options of burgers is a balanced act of flavor & texture that seriously elevates your senses. Once you eat here, no burger will ever taste the same. Ironically, the food presentation is not what you envision from the “best” but in my opinion this is plus. These burgers are not for the visuals, and Instagram posts. They are made for true food lovers, burger connoisseurs, and those you appreciate great customer service. The owner is always on site (speaks highly of his work ethic). Every interactions we’ve had with him are pleasant and on one occasion he gave our daughter a cookie and drinks for the rest of us once he heard she picked this spot to come eat on her birthday. Anyways, don’t read more reviews, just go and get one of the best burgers you’ll ever eat (and same goes for their chicken option called “Can you Grill it”)

Jewboy Burgers is a smash burger paradise in Austin! Their burgers are a flavor bomb—juicy, crispy-edged patties on soft Martin’s potato rolls, loaded with fresh toppings like lettuce, tomato, and melty cheese. The crinkle-cut fries are golden, perfectly crispy, and paired with a spicy ketchup that’s got just the right zing. The ice-cold craft beers on tap, mostly local brews, are served frosty and offer a stellar lineup to wash down your meal. Counter service is quick, friendly, and full of Austin charm, with staff who make you feel like a regular. The outdoor seating on their two patios is vibrant, decked out with quirky lucha libre décor that adds a playful vibe. Whether you’re grabbing a classic cheeseburger or their bold Jewboy Burger with grilled onions and jalapeños, every bite is perfection. A top spot for smash burger lovers

Interesting little eatery with an eclectic atmosphere. The service is friendly and helpful. We ordered OY VAY GUEY (WAY) 5/5 (although I would have preferred more heat), THE JEWBOY 5/5, THE BOCK BOCK BURRITO 5/5, POTATO LATKES The Bubbe’s Original Chopped Onion and Garlic 5/5, Green Chile and Cheddar cheese 4.5/5 (more spice please) served with Schmutz 5/5, and fries 4.5/5. If I lived in Austin I would be a regular.

On 06/22 we went to Jewboy Burgers for the first time. We had heard about them from a friend. It was a good decision, this was one of the best tasting burgers I have had. The onion rings were by far the best we have had in Austin. If you have not tried this place I recommend you do. It is well worth it. Due to the tree coverage you almost miss it.

Overall, I had a great experience at Jewboy Burgers. The burgers and fries were delicious, and the onion rings were the perfect way to top off my meal. I would definitely recommend Jewboy Burgers to anyone looking for a great burger joint in Austin Texas. Update ** 11/30/23** Got back again! They now in my Top 3

Easily one of the best burgers in town. They have a rotating hamburger as well as their normal menu. I have never had anything bad here. Their tater tots though are the absolute best. So crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside.

There is no way to describe how amazingly good these burgers are and how cool and chill the place is. Whether you're a long time off tonight or visiting for the first time do not miss this very very tasty amazing Austin burger dive.

Literally the BEST chicken flautas I have ever had and I’ve had many flautas in my short 44 years. Also, the employees are always very, very helpful and friendly. I also got the Magical Bean Burrito which is truly magical. My coworker and I are addicted to their bean & cheese burrito. It’s only $5 and you can make 2 meals out of it!

C
Christopher Gorrie

Jewboy serves a mean, well-balanced burger filled with quality meat. They’ve got a selection of fun menu items, including a nice soda fountain and beer list. I’ve never been disappointed by the burgers here, so consistency is a big plus at this joint. I recommend giving it a shot when you’re craving a burger and skipping P. Terry’s and In-N-Out for a change.

So this was an experience, we were in from Denver and decided to try it. Parking was a pain but thats just kinda how it is in Austin at good food places. But while waiting there was a customer who had a medical emergency. It became pretty chaotic. The establishment kept cool and continued to work which is why i gave a 2 star on service. Orders continued to be filled but i noticed none of the employees nor the manager assisted the customer or any of the customers helping the one having the medical emergency. No one called 911 or anything so that disappoints me. As for the vibe, its definitley cool and the menu has a variety of foods that are all worth trying. We had Flautas, a The Burger with the potato cake on top lol, onion rings and fries and everything was phenominal. And tbey serve Maine Root so thats a plus. Overall an experience well never forget. Some things to be learned but we will go back and food was on point. Definitley a must try if in Austin.

R

Excellent burgers found here. Went with a group and we all ordered different burgers. Will have to say they were all different and darn good. The fries and the latkes were a great combination. I also tried the pineapple cream soda and this was a hit. Place was clean and well lit. Service was good. Walls had interesting pictures and decorations. Will have to go back to try the burritos.

S
Steven Quinn

Might be the best burger and shake I ever had! The battered onion rings were delicious. Very busy spot so plan to wait in line. The line moves fast and food is ready quick. It's an order and sit type of place. Reasonably priced for the quality and service, definitely worth the visit.

M

Excellent smash burgers! And the fries and onion rings were hot, fresh, and tasty. I had the chicken burrito which was also great. Solid beer selection on tap. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

S

Epic, hearty burgers and sides! Similar level of decadence as Gordough's burgers back when that was around. Love the homemade pastrami as a topping on a smashburger. Onion rings are pricey but delicious. Latkes (hashbrown pancakes) are the more authentic side option. Dive bar vibe. Get there when they open. The lines get long but move quickly.

I’m not normally a food reviewer, but this was a fantastic experience. We were greeted and served by the owner himself and that old fashion customer experience is what drove me to write this review. The food was fantastic, the prices were not bad at all, and the quick (but also not rushed) service was incredible. Thank you guys so much for the experience.

First time here. Good location, staff was helpful and made good suggestions. We shared the Yenta smash burger and some onion rings. Both were great but the burger was the best I’ve had in a very long time. The crispy edges of that patty were so yummy. There was also plenty of seating, with a fun Austin vibe.

Everyone was so nice! The place was busy which I don't mind at all. Even though there was a line, when it was our turn the lady taking our order was so patient and sweet. She didn't rush at all and even gave us suggestions and helped us decide. The rest of the staff had a really great mood as well! It was my second time here and I can guarantee it won't be my last! The food is always amazing!

Getting in town to catch an early flight next morning and had this place on my list to try for their Magical Bean and Cheese Burrito. Got there just before the rush and was greeted by super-friendly staff who gave a run down of the menu even though I told her I was getting g the burrito. So nice as she was happy to explain since it was my first visit. I also got an order of latkes. I was unsure about the hype for this burrito, but now understand why! Amazing flavor and the hatch green chiles took it to the next level. Latkes were great as well. Highly recommend this place and look forward to trying one of their burgers next time I am in town.

I was already a fan of JewBoy Burgers from going there on my own, but I am an even bigger fan after having them cater for a few staff events over the last year. Our department has over 100 people and they are always a huge hit. They bring their food truck out, which makes everything easy for us, and the food is always amazing. The staff is friendly, fast, and great with our large group. We cannot wait to have them back again!

Killer burger, fire burrito, and superb staff. Went in during my lunch break and split an El Paso burger and bean and cheese burrito with a co-worker. Both were ridiculously good. The prices were fair, and the service was friendly and quick. Shout out to Richard, who gave us the burger recommendation. I will definitely be back again.

This is absolutely not your typical mass-market, big-chain burger joint. This spot deserves high marks for its unique character and is a genuinely excellent find! I really enjoyed the home-style burger, which is excellent and served per with your choice of fries or crispy tater tots. They also offer burritos, and hot dogs. I liked the unique vibe of the place. It stands out from the crowd and is certainly worth going out of your way for a visit

Super solid spot with delicious food. What a great spin on quality fast food, everything was super delicious and unique. I really enjoyed my burger with pastrami on it and the latkes I had on the side. The sauces were also delicious. Premium sodas on tap. Service was excellent and super friendly. Plenty of seating, plenty of parking. Will definitely be back next time I am in Austin.

A

Hands down one of the best burgers in Austin. Whether it is the Jewboy with everything on it or the Oy vey way, the burgers have a lot to say. Personal fan of their tater tots, they always get them exactly the right crispiness without burning them or making them too crunchy. Onion rings and fries are also very solid. Definitely try all the sauces, smoky mayo makes for a great dipping experience.

We came in today for the first time and the service was very good, we ordered quickly and smoothly and got our drinks right away. Now for the food, wow, this might be one of the best burgers I have ever had, the meat was cooked so perfectly, and the fries were amazing. I will be coming here again sometime in the future.

Nice place to hang out with friends and family! They have indoor and outdoor seating and lots of good vibes. Place was crowded and the staff were courteous. One of the staff at the pick up counter gave me all the sauces available to try with my food order as it was my first time visiting. Tried the magical bean and cheese burrito for dinner and it was really soft, delicious and of course magical. I liked their spicy sauce and salsa with the burrito which was a pretty good portion. One burrito is good for a lunch or dinner and the cost was reasonable. Must visit place if you like burgers and burritos!

One of the best burgers in the Austin area! Exceptional service from staff and the owner. This place has class, and unique food options. Great nostalgic atmosphere and authentic charm. Latkes and burgers are excellent, as are the burritos. Something to write home about or bring your family and friends to visit to experience the best tastes of Austin. They source quality, fresh ingredients, and deliver fantastic food every time. Always good tunes, and charming hot spot.

This was one of the best burgers of my life, and I've had a LOT of burgers. I got the Yenta, which has a latke topping the burger. Seemed unusual and ended up being crazy good. Don't pass on the yellow mustard. That vinegar bite is bright. Yum. My companions had great food, too (latkes, a dog, other burgers), but i was too busy chowing down to take much notice. Don't pass on the fries or onion rings. These folks know how to fry stuff. Nothing mushy or underseasoned. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Plenty of outside seating on a nice day. The staff is also really friendly. Just loved everything about it.

Great place and soooo Austin, Texas! Highly recommend visiting. Went for lunch on a Saturday. We got there at around 1145 and got a table. By 1230 it was packed and more people coming. Loved my burger, onion rings and two Lonestar beers.

The well kept secret is the bean burrito You get a large vegetarian friendly option for 5 bucks, along with consistently good and spicy sauces and salsa to die for I also like the latkes! Overall, a great nearby standby option, ample parking around too

I wish i could rate this place even higher. Best burgers in Austin. The owner is super down to earth and chatted with us for a while. He was everywhere, taking orders, bussing tables, running food… very cool to see. The entire staff was super friendly too. Food came out quick and lots of seating options.

K

the burgers are AMAZING!! The jewboy burger was so yummy and well cooked. I also got a side of latkes (one of each flavor) and I prefer the Bubbe's OG flavor more. Really love this place but the competitive seating makes it inconvenient to visit. It's still worth it though!! They do have onsite parking but it fills up fast. You can park in the neighborhood nearby I guess but I would recommend doing take out if you don't live too far

Delicious. I wasn't sure about a latke on a burger but the Yenta was amazing. Be sure to try a milk shake! I definitely plan to come back and try the Bar Mitzvah Barbacoa.

I was recommended this place by my cousin, it didn't disappoint. A great space with lots of outdoor seating. The guy taking orders was great at providing suggestions and super friendly. Really flavourful and juicy patties with fresh ingredients. It must be made to order as despite me arriving not long after opening, it still took around 15-20 minutes to get my burger. So happy i got to try this before flying home!

Fantastic spot for delicious sammiches and more! Relaxed environment with plenty of indoor/casita seating, ambient lighting and amazing staff. Hands down the best burger w house-made pastrami I’ve ever had. They also have some delicious cheese fries w a spicy ranch and offer smoked mayo for the sandwiches. So good!!! The staff and owner were not overwhelmingly annoying but flowed well throughout the space, holding great conversation and even gave us a t-shirt on the house. Truly delicious food, amazing service, and a genuine kindness from the owner and staff. We will be back!

Best hot dog I’ve had since leaving Providence RI in 2002. Jew Boy calls it a Coney Island (wrong imo) but it more resembles the A&W Providence City limits grandfathered-in yellow #5 muh fuggs for those that know. My kid said his burger was the best he ever had too. Latke game respect as well. No question that this is a one of a kind in Texas.

I was super excited to find this spot! The food was fantastic and the menu was hilarious. The owner was there and he was absolutely above and beyond. He has the best customer service I have seen at any restaurant in Austin. Charity answered questions about catering for me since we had such a great experience we hope to cater in the future! Jackson and Diva also stood out providing awesome customer service and interacting with their customers! Weill absolutely go back and bring friends!

Pretty great burger and awesome service. Lots of outdoor seating and the spicy ketchup is amazing. I really loved my meal here. Wish I could do a 4.5 for no tomato. Burgers need tomato. Other than that thought it was great.

Excellent burgers in a fun spot with very friendly staff. We were looking for a great burger and this spot delivered. I've heard about it for years and make the stop finally. The burgers were delicious with the melted cheese and hatch chili on mine. Onion rings were crisp and amazing as well. All around exceptional food and we'll be back for more.

This place is about 20 minutes away from the airport (30 if there’s an accident) but if you’re looking for a local burger place to eat before you leave out try it out! Tried the burgers and the burrito and it was good! The food was well seasoned and would recommend getting the burger with the latke on it! I got the burrito to go and they kept it on the heater for me until I left which was very kind of them. They also have an outdoor area for seating if you want to enjoy the day. Will be back again!

This is a unique burger place. Everything is niche with mentions of the owners Jewish heritage or wrestling culture all around. I kind of dig it. I even noticed a picture from the 1986 Three Amigos movie. Classic. It’s definitely a 1980’s/1990’s vibe here. The food was a bit overpriced for what we got, but it was certainly tasty. So value is hard to establish. Both my wife and I got the Jewboy classic burger, one with onion rings and one with French fries. It was ready quickly and oozing with hot cheese. Overall I liked it. Reviewed with Fujifilm X-T5 @13mm f/1.4 in Black and White because I’m weird that way.

The burgers here are fantastic! The burger patties have great flavor and texture, and the burger lineup on their menu is well thought out and executed. The A$$hole From El Paso burger is awesome with the chile de arbol salsa, and adding fresh jalapeños puts it over the top. The Yenta burger that includes a latke on it is excellent. The latkes (essentially fried potato pancakes) are really good, especially the version with hatch green chili & cheese. The tater tots were perfectly crispy and the crinkle fries were spot on. They offer several dipping sauces for the fries/tots/latkes, so there is something for everyone. They have a nice selection of craft beers, a few seltzers, and even a THC lemonade that sounds pretty strong (25mg Δ9). The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They really know the menu well and can help with any dietary restrictions and make suggestions to help you get the meal you want without the ingredients you can’t eat. Parking can be tough in their lot, but there is plenty of parking along the adjacent neighborhood streets with a short walk to the restaurant. The only complaint we had is that the seating inside is limited, so you may have to settle for a table in the patio which is not always ideal depending on the weather.

Great burger spot! They've got hotdogs and burritos among other things but their burgers are where it's at. I got just the regular jewboy burger and it was fantastic. The tater tots were extra crispy and delicious too. They've got milkshakes and desserts too. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The patio with some of their draft beers would be an amazing experience. 10/10 will come back again!

My burger was delicious. The latkes were amazing. The shakes are out of this world - they make their own ice cream. The ambience is fun and cozy - a mashup of Jewish, Mexican, wrestling, rock'n roll, and aliens. Might sound strange but it works! The staff was over-the-top friendly. Everything was just perfect!

Went to Jewboys for burgers. We ordered each ordered burgers: three Jewboys, two with tots and one with fries. The burgers were very good not exceptional. I’d definitely come back but also wouldn’t say the best I’ve ever had. I’d rate a 9/10 The fries my son got were exceptional, the tots were undercooked and not salted. No big deal but worth mentioning in a review. 8/10 Onion Rings were excellent 10/10 The queso was the best I’d ever had 10/10 Bathrooms were clean At the time of this review, Jewboys has a 4.8. My philosophy is to rate a place and push towards the rating I think is appropriate. I think this place is a super solid 4.5. It’s not a 5 and it’s not a 4. Since it’s above 4.5, I’ll rate it 4 but if it was under 4.5, I’d rate 5 to push the rating towards 4.5 Hope that makes sense Enjoy everyone! We love Israel! Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 10:9, “That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:13 “for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 5:1 “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The customer service here at excellent when you get your order taken. The person who took our order was excellent. Since it was my first time there she helped me with what to order and what to experience the next time I come back. I played it safe this time and got The Jewboy burger which was really good. And my husband got the Oy Vay Guey. As for the side we got The Potato Latkes, their spicy ketchup is better than whataburger. Jewboy Burger understands what spicy ketchup supposed to taste like. I'll definitely be back to come for the hotdogs. If you're looking for something different. This is the place to checkout!

I've been wanting to try this place for over a year...finally convinced the wife to on a cold Saturday afternoon...there was a line out the door, but we endured...needless to say that impacted the wait but counter service was both friendly and quick, as well as helpful. Beer selection was good with several choices on tap and by bottle. Unfortunately the double cheeseburger I got was just ordinary--good, but nothing special--the latkes were dry, the special sauce almost pungent, and well...I guess my expectations were high. There's a nice patio and even an enclosed one that helped w the cold as heaters were installed overhead. I'm in no rush to return, but 5 stars for service on all levels--great staff--and it was clean, warm, and inviting.

I really loved the atmosphere here—great vibe and awesome music. The young lady at the order counter was one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, super friendly and welcoming. The burgers, though, were just okay. They didn’t lack creativity, but they definitely lacked flavor. A little more seasoning and bigger portions would go a long way, and toasting the buns would help hold everything together. Overall, it’s a nice place to hang out, but the food could use some fine-tuning.

We were in town for the night and finally decided on JewBoy Burgers. After finding a parking spot we walked to the front door and were surprised there was a line… out the door! It was 8pm on a Saturday and 36*! Getting Texans to stand outside in that weather for food should be all you need to know! On to the food! We ordered The JewBoy, Goyim, Rio Grande Reuben, The Mutt, The Bubbe’s OG Chopped Onion & Garlic potato latkes, tots & onion rings. The JewBoy is the baseline burger where you get to taste the beef and create a baseline for the rest of the burgers. The burger was good but the patty was a little thicker than expected. We thought it was going to be a thin smash patty, and it wasn’t. Flavor was good though. I really enjoyed the Goyim. The pastrami was delicious then add in the mayo, pickles and bacon… ummm yes! I’d recommend this burger to whoever goes here. It wasn’t too much meat with the pickles and mustard cutting the meatiness of the whole burger. The Rio Grande Reuben was good but for a Reuben, we wish it had more sauerkraut. Again the patty was a little thick but overall the burger was flavorful. The Mutt looks insane! The contrasting colors of the queso and chili make this hotdog stand out on its own. The flavor was good, an upscale chili dog with delicious chili (the chili was great!) and some solid queso. One of my favorites from this meal was the chopped onion & garlic latke. The sauce (Schmutz I believe?!) paired perfectly! The sides we got were tots and onion rings. The tots were perfectly crisp and delicious. I did not care for the onion rings, they were too “bready” for my liking. The serving of onion rings was hearty so worth the additional $6. The beer selection was all Austin based and a variety of different styles. I tried the Electric Jellyfish from Pinthouse. It’s a Hazy IPA, I really enjoyed it. Overall we enjoyed our meal, was it worth the wait… yes, but is it the best burger I’ve ever had… no. Our favorites were the Goyim burger, The Mutt, onion & garlic latke, & tots. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I believe we ran into the owner last night, and he was super approachable, asking everyone how their food was and even striking up a convo. He was a super nice guy! Come and support this local ATX business who started in a food truck and are making a name for themselves!

Ordered the Jewboy (2), basket of fries, chili and OG Latkes. My burger was ok, personally I think the meat needed seasoning. I also like my burgers well done, this was a bit under. My wife's burger was more medium and liked it very much. The fries were cooked well but, I just didn't like the taste of them, maybe the oil they use? The chili was good, more on the savory side. The Latkes were very good as well, a bit heavy on the garlic for my taste, wife loved it. The restaurant is a good size, plenty of seating inside and out. They serve Stubborn sodas, wish they had more zero sugar drinks options. The staff was great and friendly. Side note: I try to be very fair and do point out that this is a matter of personal taste and not the quality of the food. I would eat here again but, would ask for a well-done patty and I would go with onion rings or tots instead of fries.

When it comes to burger joints with a quirky vibe, Jewboy Burgers won me over with their pop culture decor of cult movies and pro-wrestling. Their burgers juicy, their fries are crispy and flavorful with their spicy Ketchup, and their vanilla milkshake are very sweet and smooth. I look forward to my next trip back.

This place serves up some really good burgers – though it does depend on which one you order! We definitely preferred the classic over the one with the potato patty, but no matter what, you have to get the tater tots. They’re to die for – crispy, perfectly seasoned, and just the right level of indulgent. If you’re in the mood for a solid burger and some amazing sides, this spot is definitely worth a try!

It was fine, but can’t figure out the big deal, yet. Definitely had better burgers, as well as worse. Had a burger-basic. Had a burrito—very messy. Now, the drinks/shakes looked amazing! I’d go back to try one of those Other than that, good concept, nice outdoor area, sweet kids working there, long wait, tough parking situation.

At heart, I'm a basic cheeseburger kinda gal. My hubby surprised me by stopping in and I gotta say, I'm impressed. We started with the queso, all the way with beef and guac. Nice seasoning in the meat. I had the Jewboy and hubs had the Reuben burger. I like the bacon they used, nice smoky flavor. Hubs said the Reuben was great, stacked with pastrami and not too much sauerkraut. Onion rings were on point, especially when dipped in the queso! The outside area has a nice picnicking feel under a lovely oak tree. Service was really nice. Decor has lots of cool movie shots like Buckroo Banzai, Mars Attacks and other lesser known but cult fan favs.

Good food. I just prefer my burger too still be a little pink and I wasn't asked, so I assumed that meant I don't get an option. My burger was well done and being a thin patty my GF bun made it taste like more bun than burger. My tater tots were slightly overcooked too. So I liked it, but wasn't in love. I would definitely recommend a try though.

Went there several times. Had several different burgers and sides. All were delicious ….until today (1/17). I had a Rio Grande Reuben for a first time. I thought pastrami might be similar to Jewboy Subs (their pastrami sub was best and meat was very tender and flavorful). My thought for this burger was so wrong. Pastrami was tough, bland, and very chewy. Burger was yummy as usual. I had onion rings because I had it before and it was crispy and cooked perfectly. Not today, I had mostly…soggy. A few cooked “right” but not crisp. In the past I had consistent food and today was my first time that the foods weren’t great. So disappointed. Next time I would have order other burgers only- definitely not pastrami again, haha. Probably no sides cuz I’m worry about not being consistent plus sides aren’t cheap thus no excuse for poor quality.

Burgers: 4/5 I loved the 1/3lb patty, most places use 1/4. The condiments were not evenly spaced out, as some bites had no sauce and others did. If the burger was a little more charred, and condiments added more evenly this could EASILY be a 5/5 burger. Burritos: 3.5/5 Delicious burrito, but I think a little too pricey for the amount of food. Cheese dip: 5/5 The cheese is somehow super stringy but perfectly metly at the same time. It is easily scooped onto the chip but does not slip off easily. And when you add the meat... my goodness that is delicious. Would give 6/5 if I could. Latkes: 2.5/5 I was not a fan. They had a nice texture but the seasoning/filling wasn't much. Was a slightly fancy hashbrown. Tots: 4.5/5 Perfectly crisp outside with a soft potatoey center. Fries: 3/5 I am biased because I don't like crinkle cut fries. They tasted good though. Overall: 3.75 out of 5 Great score for a burger place. I would visit here again.

A lot of options on their menu. Bunch of burgers and various tex-mex. The staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Just not sure why all the burgers come in the to-go boxes, even if you're dining in. My bottom bun was so soggy. Made it difficult to keep it together. Crinkle cut fries were great. I'm told the chicken flautas were awesome.

The city's gray, a lonely hum, Just another shift for me, the delivery bum. A thousand streets, a thousand screens, Chasing digital, fleeting dreams. But in my heart, a place I know, A single spot where good things grow. A craving hits, I crank the amps, the motors hum, I'm on the run That scooter life, full of strife. I Let them pass, just for fun. And there it is, a warm delight, A beacon in the fading light. JewBoy stands, a home for us, Beyond the grime and urban dust. I wheel in Tina, my grand ride, She's sensitive about her size, you see, And feels awkward indoors beside The skinny hipsters and their ease. But here, a bench, a table fine, On a patio that feels like mine. The burger comes, a work of art, A tiny solace for the heart. The fries, a golden, crispy stack, The best in all of ATX, that's a fact. And Moe, he's there, a gentle king, He guards the cheese, the bottomless thing. The liquid gold, the liquid grace, He'll never let it leave its place. "Not while I'm around," his silent code, A promise on this empty road. But wait, the fire, the truth, the core, The thing I'd waited for and more. That spicy ketchup, bold and true, The undisputed GOAT, through and through. It burns with a familiar fire, The kind of thing that helps me aspire. And suddenly it hits me then, That Moe, he is the same as it, my friend. He of the bottomless cheese dip, A legend on this lonely trip.

I was on the fence between four stars and five and opted for four. This is a solid burger place with good fries and onion rings and a very good burger. But is the burger exceptional? No. I certainly will come back but it’s not something that I am going to be craving. The hot dogs are also solid, but I prefer Chicago style Vienna hotdogs. Of the sides, I think the onion rings are the best. I was really hoping for great latkes, but they are good, not great. There’s a bit of a wait, and the dining room can be crowded, which is what swayed me downward to four stars.

This place was touted as one of the best burgers in Austin. In my case, the reality did not live up to reality. 1. Other people may like the fusion of tastes, but it is not my thing. 2. No problem with the quality of food products and services was excellent. I tried the Rueben burger, which was a JewBoy smash patty with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing on top. Maybe their burger would be great alone. The corned beef was cooked perfectly and would make a great Rueben. I do not think the flavors meshed well together. It was a mess. It was very hard to handle. There was sauce everywhere. Seriously, it was an eight-napkin meal. Just to make it clear, YOU may love this place. it's just not my thing.

It's a lovely restaurant but I have a big complaint about the menu descriptions. I came in for the first time to try the bean and cheese burrito assuming it was vegetarian, it doesn't say it's not on the menu. I tasted some weird smokey flavor that was not pleasant and did not taste vegetarian. So I googled it and found that it has chicken juice in it. An hour later I have the typical pounding headache that comes whenever I accidentally ingest meat products. Not cool.

My husband and I have heard all about this place, and how they're one of the BEST burger joints in Austin. But honestly? Meh. My husband got the goyim burger and I got the brisket flautas. Instead of fries we opted for the queso. With 2 drinks and a tip this was a ~$60 meal, and it honestly was not really worth it. The burger meat itself was just seasoned with salt and not that juicy, and the bun was completely soggy on bottom (we ate there and did not wait to eat). The pastrami wasn't bad but it didn't really add anything to the burger to make it special. The brisket flautas were OK, but not new or stunning in their own right. Their queso was also just OK. Could have used some more seasonings. Overall, not really worth the price nor drive for us. From San Marcos it's 45 minutes, and for what we got we will not be going back. If your local I'd say sure, but even then a good pub burger could do the trick and for cheaper too.

Not impressed by the jewboy burger, it looked like it would be delicious but tasted extremely bland. There was a slathering of mustard all over and pickles which provided most of the flavor. The meat looked like it would taste good, but it reminded me of that scene in Apocalypse Now where the chef talks about throwing all of this pristine meat into giant cauldrons and boiling it.

The burger had an after taste which made me suspect to finishing. My wife stated she enjoyed hers, but I couldn't finish it. The fries were simi warm. The atmosphere was eclectic and wasn't inviting.
