Edit: Updating the review to 5 stars because I was contacted by multiple people about the wifi situation. Would love to see something better than the Stanford Visitor network available (high bandwidth, not having to re-authenticate) in the future, but it will do. Thanks for the prompt response. I drove by The Hub/Coupa Cafe right after it opened up and was delighted to see what looked like a great place to grab lunch and do some remote work. I gave it a try yesterday and, while the food/coffee were good and the staff were wonderful, the wifi there is awful! I've been to 3rd world countries that had better wifi.

Always a pleasure to get my morning coffee made by my favorite barista and an overall wonderfully cheerful person Erica. I come here every weekday morning that I can make it because of the great coffee, food, and service! Thanks Erica! Cheers!

Pretty great food actually. Drinks and the food take a very long time in the morning so plan accordingly. No, like unreasonably long.

Big space inside and out, with plenty of tables to accommodate customers. They day I went (weekday, mid-afternoon), it was relatively empty. Cappuccino was very good. Service friendly & accommodating.

I love Coupa Cafe’s iced latte! I think their latte is the world best! Strong and aromatic coffee. It makes me feel happy. Pastries are also good. The only thing I want to tell is all the menus are expensive… If it were a little cheaper I would eat it every day. Besides, their waffle with lots of fruits is crispy and tastes good! Their boba is not good because it is not chewy 🥹

I suggest you add shredded beef and add extra sauce, to give it more of a kick. If you like that. It comes with fruit and I usually get the mango ice tea with honey and powder sugar. If I just do one its not sweet enough. Yes it can be pricey so I dont indulge too much, but its a way to treat myself.

Very well run cafe, with an extensive but not overwhelming menu. Delicious wraps, salads, coffee drinks, and smoothies. The clientele are mostly Stanford, HP, and Tesla employees/associates, as far as I can tell. Large indoor and outdoor seating areas, and even some fun games to pass the time. Stop in and grab a latte and the latest complimentary copy of a recently published book for promotional purposes. I recommend the Caesar wrap, and the french fries are delicious. The "Hub", as it is called, also periodically hosts different events, including wine and beer tasting, sometimes with complimentary food.

Stayed here to work one of the days and ordered some breakfast and lunch here. On another occasion, I came here for some coffee. The quality of the food and drinks were high, so I believe it justified the above average cost. The location was kept very clean and ordering was easily done over the app or at the register. Since it is a chain, you can collect points at any of the locations using their app. If you order food though, there might be a bit of a wait. For example, I ordered the basic breakfast bagel on the app during breakfast hour around 8 AM and the food was ready 7 minutes after the estimated time (probably because they were also dealing with catering orders during that time). On the same day, I ordered a burger right after the lunch rush around 2 PM at the register, but it took quite a bit of time before my order was ready. On the other hand, at least the coffee came out timely.

A short walk from the office, Coupa Cafe offers a variety of options for those looking for a quick bite. I ended up eating here twice on my most recent trip into town. They offer breakfast and lunch and reasonable prices. The lines can get long at peak hours, so try to sneak out for lunch early or plan to eat a bit later. As for my recommendations, while the soup I had was good but not quite a homerun, the tacos were awesome. They have a wide variety of menu options, including stuff for picky eaters, vegans, or vegetarians. Staff is friendly. Service is takeaway with limited seating. Power outlets and wifi is available if you're looking to do more than just eat and run.

One vegan option. Really could do with improving whole food plant based options. Expensive. Unfortunately, one of the staff, a supervisor I think, was rude to myself and my colleagues on more than one occasion, otherwise all staff are very friendly, particularly the lady who walks around checking the outside area, Patty gets 10/10 for customer service. She is amazing! Mike's bike repair in same building which is handy. The app for Coupa Cafe is not great. The hot sauce is terrible, you have to ask for condiments. Bring your own hot sauce, I recommend Palo Alto firefighter hot sauce. Coupa could be sooo much better here. Outside amenities ping pong table and seating is lovely as is the landscaping ..no expense spared. Restrooms are very clean. Within walking distance of many offices.

Coupa Cafe has everything that a nice lunch place needs, and it's nestled deep within the business area. The options are good and the food is terrific. I'd recommend ordering in advance via the app to avoid any delays during peak lunch hours. My only gripe is the pricing. It's a bit on the higher side but overall the place and their food is awesome.

I got the iced matcha with boba the other day and it was pretty good. The boba was shockingly sweet, which I wasn't a fan of, but I liked the matcha itself. I've also gotten their coffee before and enjoyed it. Service is great!

Great coffee and tea in the heart of Stanford Research Park. Although it has the look and atmosphere of a typical silicon valley tech company's cafe it is open to the public.

Practically the only choice for folks working within a mile. Some interesting Venezuelan items alongside the usual cafe fare. Serviceable but not outstanding; probably wouldn’t want to eat there everyday

Sandwich was made poorly for 12:10 pickup; the instructions to remove mayo and side salad were ignored and the entire contents would just slip out if picked up. I had to wrap the pannini in a napkin to keep it together. The arepas used to be better and are hard now. The pabellón plate is good.

18% minimum tip is almost mandatory. Too expensive for the quality. Mostly mexican style. A bit too generic. Not bus, lots of employees but orders take forever. It's ok when nothing is around in walking distance from the business.

The crepes were ok. They were a little underwhelming and a little soggy. I would skip the crepes if going here. If your going to get crepes then go to a place that specializes in crepes. I would try other dishes. It looks like even though it's open to the public - it's more for business to grab lunch. Most all the seats were reserved which was a bummer. It looks like it get busy at lunch too.

Almost no one was there and I still had to wait, quite a while to order and the staff didn't have the slightest sense of urgency! Don't stop in for a quick coffee!

They dumped it into a cup, microwaved it and gave it back. Very disappointing. Even Dunkin donuts on a secluded freeway exit on a rainy day has better service.

My other colleague also got a salad that he never finish and he usually eats everything! Everything is elf service.

The food is decent, but the service was terrible. They gave us a pager and when it hadn’t gone off after 20 minutes I went inside to check on our order which was sitting on the counter. The salad and coffee were both luke warm. Nobody seemed to care or even acknowledge us. Didn’t offer to make a new one or apologize. It wasn’t busy. The cherry on top was a few minutes later a worker finally acknowledged us but it was to interrupt our meal to ask us move to another table so they could rearrange the tables for no apparent reason.

Service is terrible, but the food is good. Each time I have visited always greeted with rudeness. They never say thank you, but only to a certain race, while you seem them treat other race if people with respect. I am never rude, but always say thank you after service. The lady said, you see I am busy counting money when confronted about her disrespect. She clearly saw me standing there and went about her business. I am sadden that there is so much attitude and disrespect for no reason, which makes me think it's my skin color 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. They don't deserve our money if they are going to be rude. We spend a lot of money, catering coupa for the disrespect and racist tone they are given 😞
