Cute patisserie, the coffe is good the pastries wonderful. Rich flavors. Seating is tight. There was a lin to get in. The parking is difficult in the area but that the norm. Service was great and helpful. We would go back when we in town. The sign out front was a little hard to see to find the store. Cute place
Came back to try the Pain Suisse (baked croissant dough with French custard and chocolate chips), peanut condensed milk bostock (day-old briouche bread) and the classics: apple tart and banana chocolate croissant. All were delicious and sweetened to perfection.
One of the best bakeries in the city. 🌆 fresh croissants, amazing variety, fast, and excellent customer service. No wonder it’s one of the cities best.
Love this local SF bakery. Stopped in today to see their new Kouign-Amann selections and they did not disappoint. They had a seasons White Sesame Kouign-Amann as well as a Black Sesame. I opted for the white and it was delicious, savory and not sweet accompanied by a cappuccino. I also ordered a traditional plain croissant and it was a master class in perfection. The perfect crisp, chew, texture, taste abd size. I have tried a lot of croissants at many fine bakeries and this one especially today on 2/20 was by far the best I've ever had. Perfection in every bite! Excited to see what the rest of the years brings and always feel so lucky to walk into this Bay Area gem. Wow, we are beyond lucky to have such delightfully made and eye catching works of art to enjoy in SF. Thanks to all of the bakers who make this all happen so beautifully at B! Can't wait to go back!!
Watch Your Step, as you enter this bakery the baked goods will distract, you from the step inside the bakery as you line up for some of the best baked goods in San Francisco if you get the apple tart in croissant pastries or the cookies either chocolate or oatmeal w/cranberry& toffee you’re in for a treat. The chocolate moouse treats are the just right amount of sweet. We are also going to try the Carmel treats this time. The small shortbread cookies are too good & the brownie bites are in a tube because 1 is not enough. But the most addictive thing is the pie crust strips with cheese & sun-dried tomatoes so good & so savory that the stuffed tubes they are in are limiting the indulgence. As Martha Stewart said IT IS A GOOD THING.
Some of the best pastries I’ve had. Impossible to pick a favorite and wish I was able to try more. I had the Koign aman, a chocolate pastry, and a chocolate banana croissant. The croissant was one of the best I’ve ever had with the inside a warm gooey chocolate chip banana bread and the outside still crispy and buttery. The koign amans (probably misspelled) were amazing too, I was able to try the classic as well as the seasonal apple pear and those felt like a huge upgrade to a regular croissant for me. The chocolate one I had was more dessert than breakfast but I’ll remember that one for certain as it was fantastic.
Excellent Kouign Amann and delicious Almond Financiers. They also make a great iced Mocha. A wonderful local gem and really enticing and well curated display of artisanal pastries that delight the senses. So lucky to have this pastry shop in our amazing city. Also, a great spot for gifts for your favorite hostess and for dinner parties. Thank you, B Patisserie! ✨✨✨✨✨
I brought my neighbor here after our lunch. As usual, everything here is on-point. The pastries and my usual go-tos but this visit I also got a piece of pistachio opera cake that did not disappoint. It is easy to get distracted with all the pastries but as you make your way to the register, there are small pieces specialty cakes, simple bread offerings (baguettes and sourdough loaves) to be had and what canoften be overlooked are the little cookies -chocolate, savory and plain sables-each are different and so delicious. The granola is addictive-evening you don't think you like granola. They do offer sandwiches and an espresso bar-all counter service with the drinks and sandwiches delivered to your table. I often rush in to grab pastries but it really is a treat to go here to sit and enjoy a coffee and dessert or small meal.
b. Patisserie is an exceptional bakery in San Francisco. The pastries are incredibly fresh, flaky, and full of rich flavor — truly world-class quality. Their coffee and drinks pair perfectly with everything, and the atmosphere is warm and elegant. Every item tastes crafted with care and precision. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves excellent pastries and beautiful presentation.
we got two of their cakes: sesame yuzu and the chocolate pistachio, along with the kougin aman and chocolate chip cookie. Their seasonal kougin aman is a must get!! Super flaky and perfectly buttery, it was definitely one of the best kougin amans I’ve had in the city. Their cakes were delicious as well since they weren’t overly sweet (I did prefer the sesame yuzu over the other one since it was a rare flavor profiling) but I think their pastries are worth trying more than their cakes in my opinion!
Been here a bajillion times. Usually first in line, sometimes waaaay in the back. Still amazed how the quality and service has not changed in recent years. A long way from our hotel, love making the walk back (most of the trek is beautiful) with a big box. Almost 3000 reviews, obviously they do it right. I am obviously not objective in my review of b. patisserie because I love this place to the point I am blind with gluttonous excitement each visit.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended (1=Avoid, 3=Standard, 5=Can't Miss). San Francisco is home to many great bakeries, but B. Patisserie is a local and international staple. Peak hours should be avoided and parking can be a little bit of pain since you'll have to find street parking somewhere nearby. There is a good amount of seating, but can be challenging on a weekend. Their menu is vast, but I would stick with the laminated pastries and skip the tartines and desserts. The banana chocolate almond croissant is something I've only been able to find here and is one of their signature offerings.
Tried kouign-amann here for the first time — picked it up fresh from the bakery counter and it was incredible. I also bought some of the packaged stick-shaped ones near the register as a gift, and they stayed crispy and delicious for days. We also tried a savory croissant with mushrooms and cheese (I don’t remember the exact name, but it was vegetarian), and it was absolutely amazing — buttery, flaky, and full of flavor. On the other hand, the ham & cheese croissant was underwhelming compared to the others. Beautiful little spot with top-notch pastry work. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into baked goods done right.
I recently visited b. Patisserie in San Francisco and I have to say that my experience was nothing short of great! The pastries were delicious and truly lived up to the hype. The selection of pastries was impressive and each one was beautifully crafted with attention to detail. The croissants were flaky and buttery, the tarts were flavorful and not too sweet, and the cakes were moist and decadent. The coffee was also very good and paired well with the pastries. The ambiance of the patisserie was charming and welcoming, with a clean and modern design. The service was friendly and attentive, which made my visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend b. Patisserie to anyone looking for a delicious and high-quality pastry in San Francisco. The pastries are definitely worth the price, and the experience is one that I won't forget. I will definitely be returning in the future to try more of their delectable treats.
Long line but it goes by fast u recommend this bakery to whoever is in town. My favorite is the chocolate almond croissant but honestly everything is good in there.
Tried a few pastries all were really good. But love the kouign amann! Always a line but it moves fast.

The epitome of comfort food! Their bread pudding is like a warm hug on a plate, and their chocolate chip cookies are the perfect balance of crispy edges and gooey centers

Great family experience! The pastry’s were delicious and the service was great. The hot chocolate was rich and the chocolate was loved by all at the table!
Came here for the review and it was indeed a decent bakery, but perhaps not quite what it’s hyped up to be. We got a chocolate croissant, a regular butter croissant, a chocolate kouign amann, and a lemon tart. The croissants are pretty standard — a bit dry, not too buttery (compared to other splendid bakeries in SF like Arsicault). The chocolate croissant doesn’t have a whole lot of chocolate in it. The kouign amann, on the other hand, was really good. It’s flaky and the chocolate is rich. The lemon tart was pretty nice too, but it’s about $8, which I don’t think is worth the price, either. Overall, it was a nice experience. The staff were nice and helpful, the toilet was clean, and it wasn’t too crowded by the time we got there (around 11:00, no lines at all). But personally, I don’t think the pastry is what it’s cracked up to be.
Visited this place on Saturday Nice decent place , Tried their famous Amann and croissant. The banana chocolate croissant was amazing. Coffee was great as well . Very much recommend this place. Try it once. Removed 1 star for service, did not find the service that great. May be employees were tired and stressed (We visited around 4PM)
Everybody raves about the Kouign Amann, but honestly we loved the pain suisse! It was so delicious. The chocolate kouign amann was good too, but it has a more crystallized sugar coat and I prefer the softer croissant of the pain suisse. If you do get a kouign amann, I recommend just getting the plain one (the chocolate tasted like sugar alcohol)
We got the chocolate chip cookie, a banana almond croissant, chocolate kouign-amann, and a peach scone. The kouign-amann was like a mini croissant with a melted chocolate topping. The banana almond was like crossing banana bread and a croissant, the best part was the crispy edges, they were like crispy chocolate chip cookie pieces. The chocolate chip cookie was like a Panera cookie. The scone was ok but plain and had very little peach flavor.
My first time here and everything was so beautifully made. I came here during Chinese New Years week, and so there were a lot of delicious Asian flavours like black sesame. They also had black sesame latter which had a lot of black sesame taste to it. Definitely get their kouign amann. It was very good. The puddings were not too sweet, velvety smooth and tasty. Everything I got was great and delicious. I would definitely come back when I'm in the city.
I recently had a chance to try out pastries from B Patisserie and generally thought they were pretty good. The highlights for me was the mango flavored Kouign-amann. Like a really well made Kouign-am…

Food was good, but customer service was rude. We were in the area on Saturday around 4:30 PM and wanted to try their popular kouign-amann, but they were sold out. We decided to get the banana chocolate almond croissant which was surprisingly great. We also tried the yuzu cheesecake, which was fine. When we asked one of the people at the counter a question about the ingredients in the cake, she was quite rude. The person at the billing counter was nice and helpful.

Looks great and is lively but not really my style, I was looking for bread or a relatively plain croissant and what was there when I went was either too obscure or too pricey for what appeared to be.
