A friend recommended this place, and I have no complaints. The food was incredibly delicious, hot, and came out quickly. The service was excellent as well. I’ll definitely be coming back. I ordered the combination plate, and my friend had the crispy tacos.

Ive been here years ago and it was awesome then. Went again and it was just as good as I remember. The beans tasted like my aunt made them and the chicken was delicious. Service was amazing and friendly. Give it a shot if your in the area and want great Mexican food.

We stopped here while visiting family and friends. We were headed to another restaurant when we passed this place and decided to stop in. We were a party of five and had a variety of meals. All of our meals were delicious and perfectly cooked. The margaritas were very refreshing and delicious. The host got us seated very quickly and the waiter was very attentive. Overall, we had a great dinning experience.

First time stopping by to try this place out and it was not disappointing. I had their Dona Maria’s Super Mix Fajitas and it was so delicious. Meat was very tender, juicy and flavorful. As well as their sausage, charro beans, rice and homemade four and corn tortillas. My husband ordered the caldo de res and says it was delicious as well. Omar our waiter was very attentive and accommodating to our needs. Food was brought out quickly, very hot and delicious.definitely coming back.

Speaking of chips — they’re light, airy, and dangerously addictive. The salsa? It’s got just the right kick to remind you that life’s too short for bland food. And now, the main event: the food! The caldo de res was pure comfort in a bowl — rich, flavorful broth with loads of tender meat. It’s served piping hot with your choice of homemade corn or flour tortillas. (Spoiler: you’ll want both.) Then came the Mexican Hamburger — and let me tell you, it’s a beast. This burger is massive, juicy, and packed with more fresh meat than a prison yard! You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure. The Fideo Loco? Served with charro beans and seasoned to perfection. One bite, and you’ll wonder why you ever settled for boring noodles. And let’s not forget the cheese enchiladas — melty, well-seasoned, and bursting with flavor. They hit all the right notes. ** Experience ** Ok, so I came here by myself because I ordered some tacos to go and wanted to see how the plates were. The food is very tasty. I haven't written a review in a min, but when I tasted the pancakes, and the eggs and beans. Man, let me tell you. The beans were very good ,and the best of all was the tortillas were on point. Soft and delicious. Makes you wonder what they are putting in the food for it to taste so good. ** Customer Service ** The place was busy, but tables were available, but I just sat at the bar. Bartender asked for my drink, I said water, and I put my order in on his plate recommendation. He brought me two glasses of water, and the food arrived in like less than 10 min. It was fast. He kept checking how I was, so it was good service. No complaints. ** Overall Experience ** If your looking for a new restaurant to try I recommend this place. Not sure why it has 4.2 stars, but the food is amazing and the customer service was great. I recommend this place. Prices are fair.

Came here with our coaching staff from Morton Ranch HS in Katy for dinner before the high school coaching convention. This was a memorable experience. Michelle, the manager, and her staff were AWESOME! She made accommodations for our large party to ensure we were comfortable. The service was top notch as everyone was attentive and polite. To top things off, the food was excellent! All of us enjoyed the experience! I would definitely return and I recommend it to those who may be looking for a cool spot to dine. It’s a vibe.

My dad was wanting Caldo De Res and this restaurant popped up as a suggested place to dine. So we tried it. It was such a gem to find! Antonio waited on us and it was such fabulous food and service. The food was played beautifully, great portions and very delicious. Excellent overall experience.

First of all, i love the atmosphere and the beautiful decorations everywhere. It has a bar in the middle of it all. The food is delicious. I went twice for breakfast and for lunch and both plates were amazing and filled with delicious flavors. Great prices. The coffee was nice. The waiter, amazing and attentive to my needs. I really recommend this place if you want to catch a quick bite. I recommend the rancheros eggs and the meat stew. You gotta go here. And, the bathrooms are cleaned and neat. You will enjoy it here guaranteed.

The food was great! We had the combo fajitas which were tender and flavorful! The tortillas are soft and the queso is good! There was a miscommunication and we thought the jumbo margaritas were on the happy hour (they are not). Don’t make the same mistake, make sure you order the regular size. The inside was quiet until about 5:30pm then the music made it difficult to hear. They seemed to be understaffed, but the servers were friendly and we weren’t in a hurry. Overall, it was delicious and we’ll be visiting again!

This place is Open to Dine in. Dinner was delicious. It felt really comfortable eating out. Social distancing was not a problem. I saw people enjoying drinks and dining in with smiles and enjoyment. Starting off, saying service was great. My server was really nice. She managed to bring everything. I asked for, however I was very disappointed. Seeing the menu, there is a sign outside of the restaurant that says lunch specials, Monday through Friday starting at $7:99 but when I looked at the menu only one plate was $7.99, and that is exactly what I ordered. It was huevos rancheros. The potatoes were a little overdue and burn to be exactly the flowers tortillas. Were chewy You Can Tell. They’re Not made freshly made, then I ordered taco de barbacoa and very surprising. It came with no onions and no cilantro. I understand if it’s not on the taco, but they always bring it on the side and when I asked for it, she mentioned it would be $.50 more for onions and cilantro. I said that’s fine! thinking lunch special was $7.99 I Was Thinking Maybe I at the most paying $15 in total, my ticket came up to almost $20 because the barbacoa taco was almost $6.00 it self, but it wasn’t a big size taco either just regular size. So overall the service was great. The food was OK, but the prices are terrible and not worth 🤷🏼‍♀️ Am I coming back? Don’t know

Fat girl says to skip this place! Our waitress wasn't bad, but she still got our order wrong. She was nice but couldn't remember our order. She asked us several times to confirm our order, if she wrote it down she could've just referred to her notes. The food....if you like your beans to taste like pure bacon, then you'll love the beans. I had both refried and charro, the taste was identical...bacon. I don't mind a hint of pork taste in beans, but this was very strong. My mother and I had the puffy beef tacos, which needed seasoning. My mother said the rice was bland. This isn't a place I would like to try again.

This is the second review I have made for Sarita’s on Fredericksburg Road and will be the last. We ordered cheese enchiladas with borracho beans and as you can see. The enchiladas sauce was dry and appeared to have been reheated. The beans had a film of oil or grease on the top and were definitely not fresh and were bland! Food here has been a disappointment now for a year so we will not be coming back! We came back one more time hoping for a better experience!

While we have visited a number of times, we actually walked out this time after being seated and "forgotten." After speaking to Rochelle, the manager, and explaining our displeasure at apparently being forgotten to give anyone our order, she admitted the delay was because our waitress was temporarily delayed. Understood ... but why couldn't one of the four waitresses standing around at the end of the bar, assist in this situation. The manager was first attacking of our perspective on what happened, rather than take any responsibility or take our suggestion that in the future other waitresses pitch in. Should not have been that big a deal. As "customers," we were not given proper consideration. We left and went to another restaurant where the food was excellent, matched by their attentive staff.
