This is a good bar the few times I’ve been here a few times and there’s not a lot of people for the type of bar. It resembles a pub from England I doubt the part of Winchester but I’ll take it. Food it’s okay could be better but not complaining it works for the reasons I’m here. Don’t bring your ratatui here 😆 beer it up!

Wow! Every single thing hit the spot! We started with the Schrooms. I love mushrooms so this was super yummy. The New York Strip was packing some heat. I love the spicy tough. The veggies were cooked to perfection...not too soft, not too crunchy! And everything was seasoned so well. And that Winchester Whiskey Cake....ooooweeee! I'll be back, so many other things that looked great on the menu that I want to try. Our server Josh was amazing as well!!

Service was a little slow.. despite it being pretty empty. HOWEVER; the food was soooo good We got a combined order of 3 different appetizers and 2 entrees and everything was incredible and well presented too! Very picture worthy food! And it was a nice chill atmosphere as well !

This was the first time my love and I came to this establishment. I must admit the whole atmosphere is welcoming, quaint, and comfortable. The food and drinks are delicious. We had the Monday special. Which is Steak, mash, and a delightful medley of vegetables. We were treated so kindly and service is prompt and professional. Definitely recommend to come and check out. Have a few drinks and watch a game.

This place is beyond my expectations. The staff is always so friendly. This was my 2nd time here and the general manager remembered me from my 1st visit and welcomed me back. He was very friendly and professional. The food is outstanding. I had the Cottage Pie and my husband had a steak. You can't go wrong here. Their food and service will keep you coming back for more!

They have a New York Strip steak Monday night special.. the steak was good but the veggies were to die for. I'm so glad I asked for gravy with my Mash po cuz they brought out musbroom gravy and I used it on everything lol, was so delightful. It was pretty dead in there that time, unlike the time we went and they had Star Wars playing that night. The bar was hopping then. I used to come when I believe it was The Lion & Rose. Only been 2x so far as The Winchester. The server/bartender was real nice and attentive. They had sports on for us, I'd go back. Plenty of parking around the back if none in the front, but i was kind of scared to park back there at night.

Really good 🍸 drinks for such a sporty place. Parking was easy to find, prices were low, good for groups of all ages, the fried pickles were very good! Better than willy's icehouse. And the sweet potatoe fries were sooo sweet! Like a dessert 🍨.

Great atmosphere and really cool spot! We used their meeting room for a presentation and their staff was very accommodating. As for the food... The Avocado Soldiers app was delicious, the avocado was fresh and the breading not overdone. It was served with a light aioli that was flavorful but not overpowering. I’m taking a star off because the burger was mediocre. It was lightly charred on the outside which left the inside juicy but you couldn’t taste it over the char. The cheese was also smokey which didn’t help with the char flavor. The ciabatta bun was okay, but the burger grease made it fall apart, would recommend grilling the buns a bit to firm them up prior to topping them. Still would definitely recommend this place!

Ok spot for bar food. Pretzels for the beer cheese were hard. Schrooms were very oily and bread was hard. Burger was messy. Everything came out at once which defeated the purpose of ordering appetizers. Service was decent even though it was not busy when we got there

We went on a Thursday and they had live music playing that was really nice and added to the atomsphere. Food was really good. The beer cheese was yummy but I liked it so much better with the pretzels wish there were more than four on the plate. Would for sure come back espically on Monday when it’s steak night. Downside they didn’t have it posted but there is an added fee for the use of credit card

We have come to this location twice now because it's atmosphere is just great. I also love the location. Cruising through Broadway is always a plus. But the food, oh my, not appealing. I understand having to wait for food on a Monday with the steak night promotion, but having to wait an hour with temperature and side errors is a big NO. So I tried something on the menu this time. Chorizo Mex-Scotish Eggs were tiny and absolutely flavorless. I tasted zero Chorizo flavor or even salt although cooked to the perfect temperature. The Chicken Schnitzel was terrible. Huge in portion but no flavor whatsoever. The gravy was wonderful but sadly served so cold it was now thick and matted looking. Mashed potatoes were equally cold. Having to wait for food for a large group is understandable, but having to wait that long for cold food is just disappointing. Our server never brought napkins, refills, nor takeout plates. Just not the best experience.

Food was actually really good, but at the end they tried to over charge me $6, talking about your using a card u get fees but they were stated on the receipt for card charges, not no $6 fee, then had me undergo decline fees cause I only had enough for what the bill was supposed to be. Then he had the nerve to say he was tired I don't have time for this, I'm like so am I, but u not paying I am. Like charge me right n I'll pay, but don't try to take extra without permission, I could have walked out but I paid and didn't even get my decline fees back, so I'm definitely warning others, to check your bank statements. He then tried to make it seem like my card wasn't mine, I had to provide my ID n I didn't even buy alcohol, which I felt was uncalled for and couldn't help but feel like bias was involved because no one else in the restaurant provided there's. I do have proof as well.
