A pleasant folkloric spot in Álamo, Veracruz, serving delicious regional cuisine at affordable prices. The entire menu is recommended, but unfortunately, the battered pig's feet, stuffed peppers, and tamales sell out quickly! You have to arrive very early to find them.

Sometimes they're friendly. To get service, you have to be alert, otherwise they'll jump on you. The place is small, so it fills up quickly.

Delicious Mexican snacks with a twist. This stand on Álamo's main avenue.
Someone visiting from out of town who was recommended this place didn't know what kind of food they had. The owner was very rude when explaining, saying, "Well, snacks, just like everywhere else in Mexico." The reality is that it's a tiny tortilla with a smear of beans, a pinch of cheese, and if you order them with vegetables, a ton of lettuce. That's what the flautas are like. The tostadas, on the other hand, are very expensive for what they are, and obviously one order isn't enough. Easily five or six if you want to fill up on pure masa. You're better off looking for another place.
Everything was delicious, I didn't know they had changed. Everything was great, the snacks, but we had to wait a month until they were available. There were 8 of us, and that's just not enough space. Greetings, we visited from Reynosa.
