We ordered two salmon teriyaki lunch bento boxes for takeout. They include shumai, rice, california roll, salad and miso soup. They did a good job packaging them. I am pretty picky on miso soup but their miso soup was pretty good. Overall, we were happy with what we ate for the price we paid.

The food is the best.i have been going here since I was 4 and will never stop. Not even talking about the costumer service. They are so kind and helpful

Love Casa Asia! This is my go-to sushi place in Whitestone. Fresh sushi and a great selection. Delivery is super fast. Sometimes it only takes 20 minutes. The quality is always there and they’ve never gotten my order wrong. The restaurant itself is cute and clean too.

So far, with my first experience, it was a good one. The food is good enough in terms of portion and the presentation. The best part is; the customer service is good compare other fusion restaurants I have dined in.

We have been going to Casa Asia since they first opened. I have to say is my family’s favorite spot for sushi and sashimi. They are consistent, fish always fresh, portions are generous and the owners and staff are always friendly. The thing we love the most is not only the food is fresh and taste delicious they can accommodate with no issues and dietary requests and my family has different needs - for example for the Chinese menu we always request low sodium, broth on seafood soup, no corn starch, sometimes my husband orders rolls with no rice, and they don’t make faces when we ask for changes like so most of the places in NYC do. I brought friends from all over NYC to eat here and never disappointed. I highly recommend!

If you're looking for amazing sushi - this place has it in spades - the owner, Ben, knows how to treat guests & his creative approach to give new flare to his sushi presentations is an accomplishment - always fresh & incredibly tasty - i travel up to an hour just to have sushi - no one else compares... 8yrs and STILL the best Sushi I know of... I’m giving this place a 5 star because I don’t live in NYC and compared to the Asian food I’ve had in my home state, this is on a different level. I first ordered in back in 2019 and had the Long Island dragon roll and Thai noodles of some kind. I promised that I will go back and recently fulfilled that promise and ordered the exact same thing. Taste super delicious and noticed that like everything else, price had gone up by $2 dollars from three years ago. But the food tasted as good and highly recommend it. I was a bit disappointed when I showed up to pick up my food and decided that I want to sit and eat it instead of carrying out to a hotel but was told I couldn’t eat in since I ordered to go. This was different from what I’m used to in the south but I thought this maybe a NY thing. Regardless, great food!

Environment was inviting. Ordered a lemonade, pan fried pork dumplings and teriyaki chicken dinner. Everything was delicious! Best lemonade, dumplings were seared just right and food came out shortly after apps. My friend ordered a vegetarian option soup so it’s vegan and vegetarian friendly too!

When it comes to Japanese food Sushi is probably the first thing that might come to mind. I have been eating here at this location for about 6 years and never spoke my mind about it. I would say probably one of the best places to treat yourself for sushi. There quality is perfect. From its presentation, taste all the way how its made down to be the rite bite size. The expertise that is embedded in preparation is unbelievable. Furthermore to add to this place there Chinese cuisine is phenomenal. If you are in Queens, Whitestone and are in the mood for Japanese or Chinese food its a must place to eat at. All together till this day i never had a problem with any meal i ever had.

Always get the pineapple fried rice. Big portion... the picture makes it look small because of their massive size dish. Place is a fusion of Thai, Chinese, Malaysian and a trendy dry bar. Good for a 1st date. Plus make sure to check out their desserts.

I love coming here for takeout. The service is always fantastic and the restaurant is simple and clean. The sushi is always amazing. The last time I went, I strayed away from the sushi and got chicken Singapore noodles. They were super flavorful and filling. Portion size was great as well. They were a little on the dry side for me, but I would recommend this place all day long.

Haven't eaten there but after take out I got food poisoning once, but a lot of my friends like it and never Got sick so, that's good I guess

First time ordering and its a delivery. Food came fast at a reasonable time and the food is okay good..not the best but its still good. Ordered the 3 roll special and the rolls were good portions and good. I also ordered the sashimi 12 piece special. I requested no sardines no mackerel and no tuna cause I have trouble eating them . I ended up with 3 salmon, 2 white tuna(I prefer white tune), 3 yellowtail. 1 shrimp and 2 crab stick. And that's their replacement. I don't consider crab stick a sashimi and shrimp is ok but I was missing a piece. Alittle disappointed but ill give this place another shot. And the miss soup is a bit too salty

I ordered a poke bowl and eel avocado roll. The poke bowl looks very good, but the salmon doesn’t taste fresh. The eel avocado roll taste pretty okay.

I ordered some Thai noodles and it was full of curry powder, I was overwhelmed with the smell of curry powder on the noodles. Nowhere on the menu has it mentioned that it was going to have curry powder. I'm South Asian and I shouldn't be complaining about curry powder but when I'm telling you I was overwhelmed it's because I was truly overwhelmed. I struggled through and finished one third of the noodles and then I had to give up.

Big disappointment. There was no distinct taste with the rolls order. They all tasted the same.

Food was good, but I saw the hostess piking her nose and didn't wash her hands. Nasty so I lost my appetite.

So at first I gave the place 5 stars but I had to change it towards the end of my visit. They sat me near the host station which was all fine and well until the host was pounding on the screen getting someone's bill pulled up. Then I was finished and decided I would bring something home for my husband and when I called to the server by just raising my hand she walked over and said "what do you want" in my head I thought "really b!tch!!!!" But I explained to her what I wanted. Anyway one of the other servers took back a menu from another table and slammed it (seriously slammed it) on the host station then said something in Mandarin to the host. The food overall was good but some basic service etiquette training is necessary.

Gave this place a try. Food was regular. The sushi portioning was a bit smaller compared to the other sushi place nearby. I'd like to add that the front desk lady was very rude and unpleasant to deal with.

Food wasnt great, I ordered take out and they didnt give me what I ordered. I ordered shrimp and got Chicken instead which was rubber. but the staff was friendly about it when I call about the mix up

Came here for dinner with my spouse. Ordered Szechuan Chicken and Singapore Noodles with Shrimp. We asked for both to be extra spicy, not a big ask considering the chili peppers next to them in the menu. Both items were delivered completely bland, not a trace of spice or flavor. The 2 stars is for the food poisoning my spouse got after the meal.

Lmao they sell eel sushi for $6 a piece. It’s not even a specific Japanese restaurant, they sell pad thai and chinese food 🫢. For that price, I would go to an authentic Japanese food. ($6 per piece lol)

I ordered the shumai and the chicken pad thai to go. I will start by saying that this place definitely fell below my standards considering the ratings it has; perhaps I ordered the wrong food. The shumai I ordered were 6 tiny pieces of frozen shumai that they have just cooked for nearly $6- very low quality. Secondly, the chicken pad thai isn't great either. The flavoring tastes heavily like the sweet chili sauce you can find out of a bottle in your local Asian grocery store. The only saving grace was that the staff was friendly, quick and to the point. Perhaps the sushi would be better but I do NOT recommend going here for their pad thai/shumai.

Im begrudgingly writing this. I have eaten from here many times and love their sushi. A week ago I ordered sushi for take out. About $70 worth of food. All of it was fishy. My boyfriend had to take off from work the next day because he was sick sick sick. I want to come back but we’re very wary about it.

Me and my girlfriend both got terrible stomach aches and my girlfriend actually threw up after 30 minutes of eating this. Terrible.

Terrible service! My husband and I went there for late lunch and wouldn’t give us the lunch special because we were 4 minutes past the time.. The server was rude and not friendly at all. We would never go back by the way my tuna avocado salad was bland.

FOOD POISONING! Me and my husband ordered sushi from casa Asia two days ago, and spent all of yesterday, from 5am hugging the toilet bowl! Our order was also wrong but that was insignificant compared to the food poisoning nightmare we lived through! We have been ordering from Casa Asia from years, and the change in quality has been evident, but this was just a whole different level of bad food. Unfortunately will not be returning.

Their food is good IF you plan on eating at their establishment and NOT ordering delivery. The delivery guys that work at this place need some work. 2 in a row I had to come and meet them outside, crying about parking etc. If I have to put on shoes, I could just walk to the corner deli and grab some food. New rule. If I HAVE to put on shoes and come outside to get you, I'm no longer leaving a tip. Delivery guys start to get the point when they're standing out on the street counting out pennies as exact change. I'm gonna treat y'all the same way I treat papa johns delivery guys when they expect me to walk a block to pick up my "delivery". Sorry if this sounds harsh, but if I did HALF of MY job, I wouldn't get paid at all. Edit: Added another star for good behavior Edit2: Removed a star for sending me the wrong food. Edit3: Remove a star for calling me to come outside and then not arriving for another 5 minutes. Don't call me when you're 5 blocks away. Call me when you're here.

My family and I have been going to Casa Asia for a couple of years now. I recently went with a friend and the waitress who was serving us made us feel so incredibly uncomfortable and became aggressive when she saw we were not leaving quickly. It was a weeknight and the restaurant was not closing yet. The waitress kept coming by and asking if we were done and then I realized she was harassing us to finish early. No additional water was given before she placed the check on the table. There were not that many other customers so I do not know if she just wanted her tip ASAP. We received the check and even with that, she was being absolutely rude and it got to the point where she was being aggressive. I told her that we are not done yet and we didn’t appreciate being treated in such a way and she became frustrated and loud. I was shocked, and even more shocked that when we left and I said goodbye to the hostess who just stared back. Not welcoming or pleasant environment at all.

I ordered from here because of the many great reviews but now it seems like those reviews are not true. I ordered sesame chicken with pork fried rice that came with a egg roll. The entree did not taste good and the egg roll that came with it was very greasy that I couldn't bare to eat it. I ended up becoming sick and will never order from here again.

After years of having ordered from this restaurant I just had the worst experience by far. I placed an order for delivery and told the person taking my order to let the delivery driver know to call me when he arrives because my bell is broken and I live on the second floor. Some time later I hear a banging coming from downstairs. I come out to my food thrown on the floor outside. The driver was getting in his car but got out screaming at me and waving his arms in the middle of the street. He came up for me to sign the receipt, screaming in my face in Chinese the entire time. I was initially going to tip him $10 but after screaming at me I decided against it. Not 5 seconds later, he began violently banging on my door again. I opened up and he screamed at me for not leaving a tip on the receipt. I told him he was being very nasty and it wasn’t my fault I’d he didn’t call me as was initially requested. He refused to leave, shoving the receipt in my face and shouting “Tip! Tip!”. I eventually tipped him so he’d leave. It’s a shame, I always order from Casa Asia but this will be the last time.

Stay away. Second time in a row we get dry fishy sushi that smells. I don’t know where they get their fish but it is NOT fresh. I gave them a second chance but I won’t be coming back. I even ordered an appetizer- tuna tartare and it looked like smashed tuna. Not great

I order food from here almost everyday for the past 8 years, yesterday I ordered a lunch chicken with broccoli with pork fried rice and California roll, I got my order and opened it not even 10 minutes later because I had to finish up some work, when I open my order, my sushi only had 4 pieces and the lunch wasn’t even what I ordered nor ever tried, I called and basically got called a liar, and they delivered the chicken with broccoli and pork fried rice for free, the driver basically threw the food in my face and today when I tried to order again they didn’t even explain or anything told me I can get delivery or pick up and that I will not be served, how is it my fault they got the order wrong and that they don’t have good communication with their staff? I always spend a good 200$ in this restaurant this is unacceptable.

So food was really good. Waiter services was good. We spent $198 on really good food. Reason for 1 rating is that, waitress expectation was really high on gratitude and she embraced us by returning the gratitude right in front of our family members. There is way of decency to request more if you want, not by embracing the customer. If you want business from customers, you can’t have high expectations on gratitude. You need to know and appreciate the amount you receive on gratitude. Or you can add the gratitude within the bill and in this way nobody needs to feel embraced. Due to the waitress behavior, she is receiving this rating and we feel unwelcome.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff member at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. She didn’t ask if we wanted to eat inside, handed us our food roughly, slammed it on the table, and walked away. When we explained that we wanted to dine inside, she refused, became visibly upset, and left. I hope management addresses this behavior, as it negatively affects the customer experience.

I had to come pick it up with my hungry son and I asked to eat there since we had been waiting for two hours and were hungry and they told us no, even though there were two hours left until closing. I placed an order on the Eat24 app and I ordered the Thai pineapple fried rice. I took a couple of bites and then I was about to take another when I noticed a roach mixed into it. I was so disgusted. I called up immediately. The lady who picked up didn't seem very understanding to begin with but she did apologize. She offered to send another one and I said okay, but by the time they sent the new one, I had lost my appetite all together anyway so it was pointless. To be completely honest, I didn't want to eat anymore from that place anyways. Who would after finding something like that in their food? The new food they sent over could have been contaminated as well if they didn't properly sanitize what they were using to cook the food after finding out about the roach. I didn't bother to ask for a refund because I didn't think they would do that. When I told my mother about what happened she was furious. She called them up and complained and told them as well and told them to refund the entire order and they did, but she also said the woman who answered did not seem too understanding or apologetic either. Very disappointed since I have eaten in this restaurant and ordered from it many times and enjoyed the food. I never knew they had a roach problem and I have no idea how the health department didn't catch that problem. I never had an issue with this place before until now. I really hope I do not get sick from this. The A rating they have in their window is deceiving since they do not deserve it. If you have a roach problem, you close up the restaurant, call an exterminator to get rid of them, and reopen when all roaches are gone for the sake of your customers and their health! Customers come first. They are what keeps your business up and running. The manager of this place said they had a roach problem himself to my mom when he came to the house to pick up the infested food that they delivered to me. They hide it from all of you hoping no one would find out! They keep the roach problem on the down low. Wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Not only that, the delivery guy is awfully rude! He basically asks you for more tip if it's not considered to be a sufficient amount for him. Never in my life did I have a delivery person complain about a tip to me. This didn't only happen once, but twice! Will not be eating from this restaurant ever again! Get your act together!
