Absolutely excellent Chinese cuisine. They care about authentic presentation as well as authentic preparation of their dishes. I had the Hunan Triple crown and my wife had the sea bass. She stated that they prepared the spinach and Vegetables perfectly authentically to the food she has back home. Would totally recommend this place if you're into Chinese food that tastes great. The in store service is a little show because they make the food fresh but the owner is very nice and willing to help. The prices are fair for what they give you.

Yum, yum, yum!!!! If you want a quality, inexpensive Asian meal, go to Hunan, NOW!! We arrived as soon as they opened at 4:30pm on Friday night. They run a early bird special from 4:30-6. Great deals!! We ordered the chicken lo mein and seshuan chicken, both came with two chicken wings, an egg roll and fried rice all for $9.98. The kids had a chicken lo mein and chicken fingers that was served with steamed broccoli. The waitress was very attentive, the food was hot and fresh and it was served timely. We will DEFINITLY be back.

General Tao chicken was perfect. Meaty, lightly battered and tender. The sauce was the correct flavor. I also liked that it was severed with onion, carrots and green bell pepper. It came to the table piping hot. I dined in after 4 pm. I was pleasantly surprised to have gotten an actual plate, steel silverware, glass cup for my water, and a cloth napkin. Gentle music played overhead. The fried rice was excellent, as was the tender egg roll that came with the early dinner special. This is the way dining in should be.

Wife had cashew nuts chicken, I had general tso. Both were delicious. This was our second time coming here. The food is great, bit a bit pricier than other Chinese places on the CSRA. Still, get what you pay for in quality here. Definitely try it out if you like Asian cuisine.

Hey, as a New York transplant who's been spoiled by Chinatown his whole life, Hunan Cafe place rivals any Asian restaurant I've been to, hands down. We're talking fresh, beautifully seasoned, Food Network level, gourmet stuff. It's a little pricier than the other lower quality fast food-y places, but it's well worth every penny! Just ate their food last night, and I don't feel homesick at all! 5 out of 5!

Small cafe that is clean but not fancy. Take out orders are also delicious. Service is kind and professional. Conveniently located between Publix and Papa John's in the shopping center on Fury's Ferry Rd., Martinez.

Delicious Chinese food with a nice presentation. Sit-down eating in a small area, but clean. I've enjoyed more than half of the selections on the menu, and it's all yummy! It's also Vegan friendly. Best Chinese in Augusta. Take out available and highly used.

I think we have found a good Chinese place! Food was very good and the waitress were very good as well. We will be back!

Honestly was hesitate to give a review as I don't want other people knowing about the best Chinese food from Savannah to Greenville this is prob it... Simple menu everything is good ... I feel like I could close my eyes and point to a item .. and I would love what I got... I'll try to include pics .. but general tso chicken is awesome.. almond chicken is awesome.. sweet spicy garlic chicken awesome... Can't wait to try random menu items ... Honestly .... This place should have catered my wedding... Amen..

Here’s the “dinner special combo” for their General Tso chicken dish. I’m 4/5 on flavor but docking a star for portion size ($13 w/tip).

Tried out Hunan Cafe for their lunch special which it’s one of their various beef or chicken combos with either white or fried rice and an egg roll. I decided to go with the beef and vegetables. Decent size entree for a light lunch, but don’t expect a normal size for the lunch special. The beef was a bit over cooked and was tough and chewy rather than tender, but the rest of the food was hot and cooked well. Service was quick and food was received quick. Good option for a quick lunch.

From 4-6pm they offer an early bird special that provides fried rice and an egg roll with your meal. I ordered the Hunan Chicken and Hot Sour Soup. My spouse ordered the sesame chicken. The Hunan Chicken was fresh hot and some what spicy hot. Lots of fresh vegetables. Rice was plain fried rice and was good for what it was. The Hot and Sour soup was surprisingly delicious. This was very hearty lots flavor and plenty of ingredients that didn’t leave it wanting. The egg roll was good for what it was, I have had better. Lastly I tried the sesame chicken and the sauce they used was just right. The chicken wasn’t as crunchy as I would expect for this type of dish. You can tell that the chicken is freshly cut chicken breast. However, with the batter that they used it should have been fried longer to make it crunchy. Overall this is a good place to visit. I would like to visit it again and try something different to see what else they offer. Also it got really busy so they must be doing something right. Service was a bit slow but very polite. Overall this place rates a “3.5 to 4” stars for this style of restaurant.

The family that was in the restaurant as I ordered my food seemed to be enjoying their meal so maybe I need to give the restaurant another try. It won't be anytime soon. Hunan Cafe just didn't do it for me.

Almond chicken was actually really good but the rice was very dry. I asked for extra soy sauce and he asked me if I wanted one extra soy sauce because he already put one in the bag. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m sorry but even though the quantity was small, I need more than 2 packs of soy sauce.

Bland. None of the 3 meals we got were great. Two were rather bland, and their Hunan triple crown, had a little flavor but nothing exceptional. The egg drop soup tasted a bit off and wasn't worth a 3rd bite. Wife and I agree, not worth revisiting.

I paid 18 dollars for a half full dinner portion? Of the Mongolian beef that has always been way more than what I got today, also the guy on the phone was pissy and was trying to tell me I was wrong, The service has gone down tremendously and the portion sizes also. Absolutely pathetic.
