Great food and great margaritas. Service was quick and friendly
Absolutely amazing experience! 🌮 From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. The staff made us feel welcome and checked in just the right amount to make sure everything was perfect. The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the portions were generous. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, great atmosphere, and top-notch service, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!
Amazing food, I was really impressed by the mole de pollo. I love that they make their own tortillas, makes it that much better. And service was great as well.
I absolutely LOVED coming here growing up and decided to stop by for lunch recently and was super excited to see they now have birria tacos! We were able to sit at a booth right when we walked in. Waitress was quick to bring chips, salsa and to get our order. The food was great!! Birria was delicious and the consomé was rich. Burritos El Patron was also ordered and was enjoyed! Cheese dip, chips and salsas were also delicious and all were gone shortly after getting to the table For dessert, we ordered both the vanilla and strawberry tres leches cake slices. Out of both, we preferred the vanilla but each was enjoyed and not a crumb left. This was a great lunch break and we will be back again!
The feel of this taqueria brings me back to California. I love that they aren't stingy with salsa and bring you 3 different ones to the table to start. The tacos tasted like I was back in Cali and the Tortillas were very fresh and definitely hand made. Their carnitas, Carne asada and pastor were all really good. Will definitely be back.
It's only taken us 2 1/2 years to find a Mexican restaurant we LOVE 😂 * Cast iron fajita bowls👌😁 * Generous amounts of food 👌 * Incredibly affordable 👌 * Authentic flavors, even the homemade corn tortillas were amazing 👌 * Beautiful and colorful decor 👌 * Tastes like that hole in wall, California familia restaurant your Mexican besties share, finally 😅 * Cubans don't eat flan with whipped cream or chocolate, thank you Mexico for doing it! Delicious! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌
I really enjoyed the food here, everything was authentic Mexican food. There chips are house made and served with a salsa a mild green and a "warmer" deep red dipping sauce. This was a nice touch giving you the options. All of these were excellent and balanced well with the chips! I had the Quesdilla Mexicana with beef tips. The avocado dressing was chunky, just wish there was more of it, but I understand the costs. The Pico de Gallo was excellent all placed on a bed of lettuce with sour cream. You could eat this alone or mix it with the quesadilla, which I did both. Absolutely you should go here, whether you are nearby, it just looking for some authentic Mexican food!!
So I searched up the place by "Top Ratings"..... ordered over the phone and when I got my food I tried it in my car in the parking lot.... I've searched quite a few places looking for that childhood taste I had for tamales... well I found it!! They're amazing!! Most definitely my new favorite spot and will go back
This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but man do they have some great food. Come here for the tacos. They do them a la carte and they have a bunch of traditional fillings as well as unique meats. They have stuff like chicken and beef, but if you're feeling more adventurous they have cow tongue, intestine, and stomach pouch as well. This is how you know they're good though because they're all prepared in the traditional open face Mexican style with onions and cilantro. They also give you two bottles of sauce with your chips that are designed to give your tacos extra flavor. The green sauce is traditional Mexican style and it's great too (beware though it has a slight spicy kick). The other items on the menu look decent as well, but the real draw of this place is the tacos. Try them with pastor meat. It's a type of Mexican Shwarma and it's amazing!
A couple friends and myself were hungry for some Mexican cuisine and brought up Google Maps. We found this place with a 4.6 star rating and started driving that way! It is totally authentic to the decor and Spanish in the menu. There are three types of salsa to choose from: traditional, salsa verde, and a chipotle style. Each was delightful. The food was delivered to the table within five minutes of putting in the order. And the food was delicious!
One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at. Great service and great price for what you get

Got the Burrito El Patron and it was absolutely amazing but the tacos were way better.
Best mexican food in Augusta! The only bummer is that they don't serve alcohol. However, their food and service makes up for it.
Very friendly atmosphere, gracious service and the food was wonderful (we had the mixed fajitas).
I was staying nearby and got takeout here, and was pleasantly surprised. Great flavor and quantity of food for a very reasonable price. If I lived here, I'd be in every week.
I came here based on the reviews. I'm glad I did. The first thing that stuck our were the affordable prices quickly followed by how big the burrito was. You couldn't even wrap/fold it! It was like …
Authentic, accurate, delicious, inexpensive, diverse Mexican cuisine.878Barbacoa tacos
Great staff and authentic cuisine. Pleasant staff and a short wait for the food. Parking was available and easy in and out.
Really really really good Mexican food. Al pastor tacos, guacamole and enchiladas all worth a try!!!can't wait to come back.

Authentic Mexican food! I had Al Pastors and Taco soup. Both were delicious. The Taco soup was clear, unlike any I’ve had but was very good. waitress was efficient and friendly.
Burritos, Huaraches, and Molcajeta were devoured by the family. We also tried the guacamole and loved every bite. service was friendly and fast. Will definitely be back.
Good overall experience. They staff messed up order but quickly corrected. Food was full of flavor will have to come back again.
recommended by a friend and the food was terrific. I had the gorditas; 1 steak, 1 chicken. Waitress was hard to understand and it was difficult to tell if she understood us until the food came out, but our drinks were never empty; and She had an easy smile and seemed very pleasant. I highly recommend anyone to stop in for a bite as I will definitely be a repeat customer!😋🌮🌯💃
Coming from Brooklyn, NY and being mixed ethnicity myself, I wasn't sure what to expect for Hispanic style food in Augusta but this spot is okaaay. Cleanliness was not the greatest, Service was alright and the Food was decent. Tho the price point was great for the amount of food you get. The Papas Locas was on point. Sopa and Tacos were a little dry and under seasoned but the Gordita and Birria was alright. Disappointingly both salsa's (verde and roja picante) weren't hot. At. All. Not sure if I'll come back but it's a good spot to satisfy a craving.
The first things I use to rate a Mexican food place are the rice and beans. Both were good. I ordered the steak fajitas, and they were ok. Only issue was the steak was in very tiny pieces, not strips. Almost like ground beef. They tasted good, though. Chips and salsa were quite good. It's hard to find excellent Mexican food away from the Southwest, but this place is better than most around here.

Very family friendly restaurant. Kinda hidden if you aren’t looking for it .Ordered was birria tacos ,Quesadilla el Parton & Mojarra Frita . Frita was AMAZING full of flavor would definitely recommend. Birria tacos were dry , they didn’t include the cheese . They are usually served with the original recipe. The consume is served with it was bland / little too no flavor. More tortilla than anything . I definitely like this place I have ate here a few times would definitely say the birria is the only thing to be worked on this far .

Our choices were limited in this area. This was the wrong choice, however. Not particularly clean and welcoming. The dishes were ok. I think they are trying, but I would not return.
Unfortunately I haven't had any good experiences in a Mexican Restaurant in this town. Either the employees don't want to wait on customers and just play on their phones, laugh and joke about other people or completely bad attitudes .. all the same and again.. where's the beef? I know it's expensive but so are the prices being charged for no meat in your meal.
Cheap spot, waiter bugged me until I was ready to order then the burritos we ordered came out with almost no beans and lots of lettuce. Flavor was mediocre for everything except the salsa and chips. Horchata was too sweet and not rich enough. I do no recommend this place unless you’re low on money in which case it’s quite inexpensive. We spent $26 on a drink and two burritos.

My gf and I have eaten here twice. On the first visit, my tripe tacos were very bad and the horchatta tasted life there was soap in the glasses. Tonight the service was very very slow and we had to get our guacamole served in a Togo box... upon inspection when we returned home we found the box had a chopped up avacado in it. Boo. That was $8. What a jip don't go there. Really... don't go there.
I have frequented this restaurant in the past and have always recommended to people looking for authentic Mexican food. My recent experience will be my last. Three street tacos with three different meats. All three meats were noticeably old.
If I could give them 0 stars I would omge. I had hair in EVERY single last one of my dishes ! My cheese had hair my tacos hair hair and my rice had hair in it , I had to complain 3 separate times about this. And then when my food came back out because they had to remake it, was cold. I didn’t eat hardly any of my food and by hardly I mean I bit into my taco and was disgusted so I stopped eating and my whole meal was left. They then tried to make me pay for my hairy food 😭 ABSOLUTELY NOT.
