The food and drink is really solid! We got the fried pickles and onion rings and they were 5/5 delicious. The bartender Drew was awesome! Will be back.

I'm so glad this bar was here for us before the Rona, and I'm looking forward to when they're back at it. They serve my favorite cocktails, and the meats just can't be beat! The staff have always been friendly and kind and I have yet to find anything on the menu that I don't love. High marks!

Found this place a few blocks off the Metropolitan Ave exit of the BQE. Parked right in front, and walked into a warm, fun spot. The amazing bartender was filling orders for drinks AND food, and yet I had no delay in getting served. The food, BTW, was awesome. I had the John burger, a treat, and the poppers. The atmosphere was great too, 70's prog rock but at a moderate volume, so chatting wasn't a chore. Put this on your list!

The Starlight Tavern is a local gem. It’s the place you meet up with friends, have some cocktails and enjoy a truly delicious meal. Many restaurants and bars have come and gone over the years - but it’s the unique combination of great food, perfect pours and immaculate service that separates Starlight from the crowd. Highly recommend and will continue to come back every time we are in the neighborhood.

Love this place. Has an amazing vibe with the cool 70s theme. Good bartenders consistently. Food is pretty good, I’ve gotten a few items that have all satisfied. Kitchen is open late. They also have Skee Ball!

Starlight is back and better than ever! I used to live next door and would frequent this place pre-covid. Now it’s back with delicious food (seriously, the mac and cheese is amazing) and great cocktails. The staff is always so kind and conversational. I have yet to go and not have a great conversation with one of their bartenders. Please show this place support. The food and atmosphere make it feel like a your local watering hole and the staff makes keeps you coming back.

This bar hasn't changed in like 10 years (in a good way) except I think they have more food options now. I have no idea how they stay in business but I am very glad they're still around. I can't recommend the burger enough. Enormous, well priced, delicious

I used to come on a regular basis, it was such a nice place. The person behind the bar was great and the music as well. I went back twice recently though, and the new barmaid is really blunt/aggressive, which removes the nice vibes there used to be in that place. Also, it’s a bit of shame but the music also changed - in worst as well :(

Unbelievably slow service - only one bartender on a Friday night. We waited forever for drinks, and it genuinely felt like we were being deliberately ignored. The female bartender with tatted arms was unbelievably bitter and hostile. Do not recommend

No experience being at this place. My bad experience and I believe of all neighborhood is of this place causing noise from visitors. Also the annoying noise from the cooling system motor at backyard. It is about time for the owner to do something to silence this monster. I do not think He would like to have it at side of his bed when sleeping. Proceed Mr Owner.
