First time at this location, I was a little leery after seeing the Google reviews but I love Denny's, so I stopped in. I'm glad I didn't let the reviews choose where I would eat. They were very very busy. We did get seated promptly. I did notice that our server ended up disappearing after we sat down. I'm not sure why but the lady manager Teryn took over our table and I would assume the rest of the others. She didn't miss a beat. Our food came out perfectly and was hot and timely. The lady made the whole situation a pleasure. Will come back. 5 stars for stepping in. Thanks.

Talk about a restaurant Denise is one of the most high-quality restaurants in Louisville. If I ever had to go to a diner this would be it highly recommend every time I go here I’m excited and happy. I always get the moons over my hammy sandwich it was a very good sandwich has become my regular. The coffee is pretty good to they’ve got anything from cold brew to hot coffee. They’ve got pancakes sandwiches burgers and soups really an all-around great place to go. I recommend going if you’re in a rush or if you’re just trying to get a good quick meal. I like it a lot I wouldn’t trade the world for Dennis.

An overall great dining experience. Service and food used to be lackluster, but I’m happy to see that there’s been improvement on all fronts at this restaurant. Benjamin provided excellent customer service and the turnover time between ordering and receiving food is magnitudes quicker than it used to be. I will be coming here more often!

My wife had a craving for biscuits and gravy so we went last Sunday for the first time. Easy access from I-65 North, though parking lot is on the small side. Our wait was a little long--seems that the weekend is their busiest--but was totally worth it. The food quality was excellent and the service was as expected for a busy lunchtime meal. We'll definitely be returning for more.

We stopped in at Denny’s after a LONG day at a wrestling tournament, and it was exactly what we needed! Marcella was absolutely amazing — so personable, friendly, and attentive. Made us feel welcome right away and kept us laughing even though we were all exhausted. After a full day of wrestling, good food and great service made all the difference. Exceptional service, Delvonda and John are the reason we come back every time. They have great customer service and they make sure we get our food on time and make sure it’s right. On our arrival into Kentucky not much was open for a sit down restaurant and it was very late! We decided to take a chance at Denny’s since it was the only place open! The area around this chain was a bit seedy and the parking lot could be cleaned, trash everywhere, but when we walked in the place was quiet and clean, a bit worn out, but the service was great and the food was well made, our waitress was very kind and helpful! I wish I would have taken pictures but it was late and we were starving! I had the Cali Club Sandwich with seasoned fries, the best ever, and my partner had a Veggie Omelette! We were very satisfied with our choice to come here!

I especially want to spotlight my server, Marisela. She always had a smile and had such a warm personality even with all of her tables. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the smell of the bathrooms, which are poorly-placed by the front entrance. The entire restaurant does not smell like a bathroom, which another review suggests. It was a Sunday morning before noon, and as expected they were really working hard to take care of a full crowd. Even though it was just the two of us, it easily took thirty minutes for us to get from the front door to our food. The staff were mostly flustered, and running all around trying to get orders right. We were seated towards the kitchen, so we really got to hear quite a bit. Honestly, we both felt sorry for the staff as their complaints were valid and the same stressful stuff anybody in the food industry has dealt with. The food was very enjoyable. Our drinks were refilled when the food came. We were asked if we needed anything else. Our particularities regarding how we wanted our food were taken care of as ordered. The meal was really quite good, just as good as any good Denny's experience I've ever had. It's a shame that this location has some issues, but considering it was the absolutely most busy time of the week, I understand the predicament. Perhaps manage should realize they need to hire more staff for the Sunday rush.

Well, they're doing better than the last few times I've gone but that's not saying much. The French toast mushy, cold coffee bitter, apple crisp not crispy... just sub par food all around, even for Denny's. Wildly overpriced and downsized portions. On the up side, the service has gotten better.

Flatware was not cleaned properly. Burgers were very greasy. If you plan to use any discount coupons, the cashier will tell you the value meals do not apply to the discount. The waitress did not let us know this in advance. I was very disappointed in how much more expensive this value meal turned out to be with the extra charge for cheese and a soft drink.

Last night we decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner sitting down to relax after winning big at Derby city, but we had a big surprise and was let down very quickly. Our meal came out a bit too crisp, the oil used seemed as if it hadn’t been changed several months. My boyfriend’s chicken tenders were so dry he couldn’t even eat the rest of them. And you can see the toast on the plate is burnt and black. In the picture with all the bags on the table is for DoorDash. The people from door Dash I’ve been waiting at the front door where the register is but there was no one there to tell them where the food was. After waiting entirely way too long, a security guard that had been sitting right there watching the DoorDash people stand, waiting finally said , “hey you can look over on the table your order might be there.” As you can see on the receipt it had to be adjusted. After looking at the receipt it showed my boyfriend’s entrée was one up for each individual items instead of an actual meal price. My sirloin dinner was $12.79. Has chicken tender dinner totaled up to $17.61. When we placed our order my boyfriend asked for a piece of Punkin pie. Later during a meal he had to ask for it a second time. By the time we were done eating that pie never showed up. I had to get up and go find our server to ask for a refill of Dr Pepper call my boyfriend, but when she came to our table she said oh yeah you asked for a sweet tea. Sitting right there plain front view was my full cup of sweet tea. So When we had to say no that was a Dr Pepper I had to ask myself was everyone here high. To top things off right before we left a couple of girls darted as fast as possible screaming a mouse. Needless to say that will be our last visit there.

Everything was subpar. Lots of issues in getting my food and I felt like I was on reality TV with how much gossip the staff was winging about. Not horrible, but definitely not worth your time or money.

I had spent over 75 bucks on all the meals. Smh this place needs a better manager or a lead etc. Also servers don't need to be outside smoking weed while working because that's a bad look on company

The T-Bone Steak & Eggs was tough and bland. I ordered it to be med rare and instead got well done.I won't ordering this again. While the Berry Waffle Slam® got here and looked great I never recieved the berries.

I'm sorry, but I'm so sick of ordering from here and time and time again getting 1. not what I ordered, AND 2. not receiving what I ordered. Not only do I not receive things I paid for, but the other things they do give me aren't even right. Like toast and gravy instead of biscuits and gravy? And the chicken tenders and seasoned fries I ordered (with some wavy fries thrown in there because I guess they ran out, who knows with this place) being burnt to the point it's inedible. I wasted who knows how much money giving this place chances multiple times since they're the only Dennys around, but I'm done. No wonder the place is going out of business. Can't even make this up, don't bother going here

This place is very slow. They seem slightly disorganized and understaffed. While Entering this facility you are bombarded with fumes from what smells like a dirty mop bucket. Since COVID they aren’t allowing seating inside, but no employees are available to host and seat guest. Instead a bell is provided to get someone’s attention. Very poor customer care and restaurant upkeep. This store has been better in the past. It’s usually full of customers. Reminds me of a Waffle House. At least at the “house” you know what type of quality you will receive. Denny’s does not deserve this star.

My family (12 of us) and I made a trip from Indy to KY to go to the Dino Convention that was going on, we stopped at Denny's and got food, it took over an hour and had to cancel a meal that never came. We spent a fair bit of money there for them to get the order really wrong. I tried 4 times to get in touch and get something fixed or even just a gift card for the meal we cancelled but not taken off our ticket. Just saying some follow up would have been nice since I talked to 4 different people who said they would call back. First photo is what was on the ticket and use starting to go over it, the other photo is us going over what should have been on it and paid for.

Hash browns burnt to just about nothing, everything over salted, some of the other patrons food mixed in with mine, and burnt chunks from something else mixed in with my omelette. The waitress was only “upbeat” when I was cashing out. She was also refusing to do DoorDash or any other meal delivery service tonight because she didn’t feel like dealing with putting in the orders and was super rude to the one delivery guy who showed up to get someone’s order. Say the least I will not be going back to that Dennys.

Honestly, this is probably the worst Dennys iv ever been to. We showed up. They took our order. Then i guess the person that was taking our order was time to clock out. The next server came and didn't know if we ordered. We waited about 45 minutes for SOME of our order to come. Food came cold and HARD, Stale. Waited another 20 minutes, and still, the rest of the food was not brought. We ended up walking out. Coffee was nasty. Orange juice was okay. This place can be better. But waiting 1 hour and a half, i Should not be a part of it. This was the last chance we were giving this location. We wont return.

Steak was good but toast was hard hash browns slimy and the shift manager was real rude for asking me if I paid while I walked out door with the person I came in there with , ate with and left with seen clearly who just paid for . Just real rude dark vibration all up in that place .server was decent but that didn’t make up for her supervisors treatment toward me

This had been the absolute worst dining experience we've had during our stay here in Kentucky, for a waitress telling another customer she can remember 95 orders at any given time I guess that means we were order 96, half our order was messed up, half our beverages never got delivered to our table,while waiting during our (40ish minutes) for our food we were approached and told they didn't have ready the batter to make one of items we ordered, we skipped it, they didn't.... still on our bill, as for an almost empty building why was it so hot and muggy? And lastly the bathroom was a nightmare someone tossed cookies all over the only available stall in the men's room (no urinal it appeared to be ripped off the wall and replaced with wet floor signs) best thing to happen during our visit was a very cheap discount to our bill. .05/10 would highly not recommend, go somewhere else for your own sake and possible health.

One of the guys came in that we saw hanging out and seated us. Our server came pretty quickly. He moved us because there was cold air blowing down on us. The server took our drink orders and was timely. We sat there for a little over an hour. We finally got our food. Nothing was cooked as we ordered. The food was not hot. Our server checked on us twice. The 2nd time was to apologize about the wait and tell us that they had just started cooking our food (45 minutes after we got there) and it would only be 5-8 more minutes. It was 15 minutes! We left after wasting an hour and we're still hungry! Worst Denney's experience ever.

This Denny's in Clarksville, Indiana has really gone down hill the past 3 years! This coffee cup was served to me stained! Not bcz of over fill! It was a dirty cup to start with. Our waiter was So High! Had our waiter came back I would have shown him this filthy cup. But he NEVER came back!! Infact he was so high that he forgot he had even sat us. As we made our way back to the front of the restaurant he asked the waitress to seat us!! I then explained that he had already sat is but he was too high to remember!! The waiter turned out to be the Manager!!!! He approached Us and said with slurred speech that he wasn't high and to get out of his "building”!! I called corporate the following day and this issue is going to receive attention. I have video of there "manager/waiter high and it has been sent to corporate!! So disappointed and I would NOT recommend patronizing this Denny's!! *****UPDATE***** THIS DENNY'S HAS SINCE SHUT ITS DOORS!!!

Came to eat dinner, First I came and had to wait in a long line and no one able to get any kind of help, then I finally get help after 30 mins past time my order was due to be ready, I ordered country fired chicken, mash potatoes and country gravy, corn and 2 shakes, the rude huge lady tells me I can't make shakes , refused to refund told me I have come back on 1st shift to get my money back, ok fine at first, then I open my order to have gotten sausage links, garlic toast, broccoli and country fried stake not my order! I drive back a second yes drive back to the store! To have to wait another hour a entire 60 mins to be told they gave part of other people's orders! Not a I'm sorry or anything, but a you customers are so rude staring at us bagging orders and the cooks are arguing about each other being dirty and cussing. Then I get my food again for it to be horrible! I posted a picture. So so agervating and horrible customer service and horrible manger if she was even really the manger (the very big big African American lady), if you could put a zero star rating I would have placed that instead of a 1 star! No one in uniforms but in tight tight leggings and unbuttoned shirts that show there chest, tight shirts that show every roll. Employees arguing manger degrading customers, employees arguing with customers, bathroom filthy no toilet paper no soap, trash in floor, a employee was out side the front door smoking weed, filthy restaurant! Corporate needs to get this place and health department needs step in unannounced at this point and see how this place really is!

What I ordered vs what I actually got! Then I paid extra for “creamy siracha mayo that I had to mix myself. Is this a result of food shortages? If you don’t have the meats just say so 🤷🏻‍♀️.

This was the most horrible experience at this location I've ever had. Manager STEVE MCCORMICK was extremely rude and condescending. The server Jamie was terrible. He didnt bring straws with the drinks and never returned with them. He spilled a drink and did not clean it up. The spilled drink stayed on the floor the duration of the meal. My kids birthday pancakes did not come out as advertised either! The ONLY bright spot at this location was the server OWEN, who got us straws, cleaned up the spilled drink and got the Very rude manager STEVE MCCORMICK WHO AT ONE POINT SAID OUT LOUD we were pissing him off. DO NOT ATTEND THUS LOCATION IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE AND a manger who is professional at all times.

The vegetables are not fresh. I ordered hot water, but the waiter gave me ice water. The hash browns I asked for were actually black. There are many small flying insects flying on the table. The waiter was very unhappy. The restaurant has a strong smell of oil fume, there is a lot of dust inside the chairs against the wall, and the table is very greasy, which is different from my previous impression. Denny's, I will never come back.

I haven’t been here in a minute but I was disappointed I walked in and immediately smell like a Porter potty and the lady at the front sat us in the booth right by the bathroom I almost lost my appetite from how bad it smelled lucky are waiter Ryan was nice enough to move us be even though we moved I could still smell the toilets then when are food started to come out it was poorly made my nachos looked like they was microwaved with the the cheese are burgers came out and the burgers didn’t look cook at all and was missing cheese and avocado that we added on and when he sent them back I expected a new burger are something no they just added cold slices of cheese between are burgers and gave us a plate of avocado this is horrible experience I will not be returning to this place again

Workers bounce tasks from one another to see who will actually work and do stuff. Don’t bother asking for a shake or you’ll have to wait 20 minutes for someone to decide they’ll do it and another 30 for them to actually do it.

These people are so bad !!! They are sending more orders out through door dash and are ignoring the people in the facility-- all food going out is door dash -- we have been here an hour and no one in the dining room has food - check my video-- this a door dash only place -- there is no food for the people here-- I could door dash this ro my table and get it faster-- I've watched 25 door dash orders go out right by us -- management needs to be changed-- no one in this place has food on their table but grub hub is getting everything!!! -- SERVE THE PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT FIRST -- WE ARE HERE -- GRUB HUB IS NOT !! you need to have two lines to handle dine in and online-- yall suck management is horrible -- choose one or the other -- if you can't handle it---

The last 3 times I've been I've had bad experiences I got a huge hair on my plate and they changed it but it wasn't the same as I had asked for, they gave me extra bacon instead of sausage without asking me if I wanted that option and he I don't like bacon, a waitress doesn't seem to like us and she only went once to take the order and never asked if we needed anything else, this last time we went on Sunday and it took them 45 minutes to bring the food and the pancakes They were poorly made, very small, misshapen and white, full of rubbish left over from other meals. The waiter treated us very well, but in the kitchen they are fatal. They finished doing something to improve because I am already discarding it from my favorites. I used to love having breakfast at this place. restaurant.

I ordered a takeout order from this Denny's on Friday 1/23/26. I ask for no tomato no pickles, they gave me tomato & pickles and cold fries. I'm allergic to tomatoes. I called as soon as got hm to notify them. They said a manager would call me on Saturday, it's Monday no call. My husband burger no bacon but they proudly collected they're money to get our order incorrect. Do better please customers matter.

I was very disappointed with the service during my visit. It took a long time just to be acknowledged after we were seated, and even longer for someone to take our order. We weren’t even asked if we wanted something to drink for quite a while. When I finally got my coffee, I asked the waiter for creamer — but it never came. The staff seemed inattentive, and the whole experience felt frustrating and unorganized. Definitely not the kind of service I expected.

They made me enroll in a program to get a free dessert. We waited for over 15 minutes, paid the bill to receive the dessert, and then found out that you have to wait for the host to charge you in order to get the free dessert. Please train your employees so they know the instructions for your promotions. I will never visit that restaurant with misleading advertising ever again. And to top it off, one of the employees, who looked high, became hostile and rude. Definitely NEVER AGAIN!

We literally got served rotten meat at this Denny’s. I am sure they served it to other people that day. We notified management and told them to remove and get rid other any leftover meat in their stock. I do not recommend it.

Very bad food . And lack in communication with these running out . Got crepes and had no strawberry and all juices. They no longer serve eggs besides scrambled for some odd reason . The food was barely eatable and all was either over cooked or way under . My cousin got stuffed French toast and it was very raw . They were understaffed and had people waiting for 40 minutes I get it , and it’s Memorial Day but that’s no excuse for it to be ran in these establishments . 😭1/5
