I had a great experience at this McDonald's location. They are open very late, which is great if you're looking for a late-night meal. I have visited a few times around 2-3 am, and the staff have always been helpful and kind. They had great humor as well, and it always made my experience more pleasant. I would highly recommend this McDonald's location to anyone looking for fast food in the late hours.
What a wonderful surprise. I move to Not Cal and my overall experience w McDonald's there is poor. This one was excellent. Mostly due to the kind knowledgeable service. Loved the gym at the window who even apologized when I got to the window that the McFlurry option I wanted was not possible. For sure it was not his fault. Wonderful service. Thank you
Well it's that day; didn't think it would get here so soon! The day that under deals I got a little cheeseburger and medium fries and it cost me over $9. But food was as expected, good! Fries came out fresh and salty.
Today, I went to this house for lunch. Due to my mistake, I bought the wrong hamburger and bought the beef hamburger. Since I didn't know beef, I communicated with the staff and they were very kind and immediately exchanged the fish hamburger with me, which made me feel very warm. Thank you here.
Comparing apples to apples, the food quality is the same as other McDonald's. This location can get very busy late Friday and Saturday night when other restaurants are closed. The staff are nice and fast. Inside the restaurant is clean and quiet.
Very clean and super friendly staffs in this location. One of employees, Kevin, even found my misplaced credit card. This is my regular place to dine with my son.

I had a great experience here. I took my son here after his doctor appointment and decided to go in and order. They were very friendly, extremely fast and got our order right with no issues at all. Took the food home and it's still hot and made my sons day. Service was great, it was well maintained and clean inside and was greeted immediately upon arriving and also when we left. Giving 5 stars and would choose to come back again.

This is the best McDonald I’ve been to. Hands down. The food is always freshly cooked and unlike some locations, and it’s so consistently good and it makes me wonder why can’t all McDonald be like this one. The store is clean, and you can see crews are actually clean it all the time. Love this place.

I live very close to this store and so take my grandson here often. I have seen multiple incidents in which management has handled altercations between customers and employees very professionally and managed to send everyone on their way with a smile on their face DESPITE that they just gotten schooled in public deportment ! I have had several occasions when my meal wasn’t quite what I had expected and the matter has always been resolved by a manager whose name tag reads Rene Cruz with a smile and professional response without the irritation that most businesses seem to throw your way if you ask for a correction..I often will pass quite a few other Mc Donald’s because I know if I wait until I get to my neighborhood Mc Donald’s I am virtually guaranteed to have a good experience. Shout out to STORE #11758 & manager Rene Cruz for maintaining a great store!
Feels very clean and safe, has a nice play place. Someone was also actually waiting at the cash register to take my order which witch as of late has been hard to find at McDonald's. Lots of families playing with their kids and a pretty hoppin place for a Wednesday.
I drop by this McDonalds frequently on my way to work to get a coffee. I have never been disappointed with the experience I receive here. The staff is friendly and efficient. I always think to myself that McDonalds needs to send it's corporate staff to this McDonalds location to learn how a drive thru is properly operated. I highly recommend dropping by this McDonald's location if you're in the area and want a quick bite to eat or something to drink.
Frankly my golden retriever was whining in the back seat of my car when she smelled the french fries and in a moment of no lunch weakness,(we’ve all been there) I rolled up to the drive through. Having recently eaten at a McDonalds in Tokyo I wanted to be sure I was correct about the difference between USA’s McDonalds and Japan. So I went to this very clean McDonald’s in Lake Forest. The workers were friendly and efficient and my order came out quickly with a smile. Thank you. But it is hard to understand why the McDonald’s in Tokyo was so different. You know those pictures of the big juicy burgers you see on posters and advertisements? That is the actual way they look and taste when you get a burger in Japan. Why is the quality of our McDonald’s food so different? I ordered a regular cheeseburger in the USA and it was smaller than the bun and barely there. The same burger I tried in Japan, could be seen outside the bun! Still wrapped in the same yellow wrapper, but a much heavier sandwich. When I bit into it, it was like taking a trip back to another era in the USA when there was quality food at McDonald’s and we went there for the sheer pleasure of the great taste of the food and not just out of necessity for a fast meal. As for the fries, we all know McDonald’s has the best fries!

McDonald's is usually good but this location is particularly good with friendly staff . Irvine is a wonderful and beautiful city and they did it right from the start so restaurants here go out of their way to keep up with the reputation. This is a town that is kept and run well so it's only fitting McDonald's try to match the city it's operating in. I took a look at the bad reviews and except for the guy asking for ranch the others looked to be instances in of particular and not the norm I certainly have had only great service friendly people and clean store

It's been awhile since I've gone to McDonald's and on this particular morning I didn't get to get my breakfast at home. So I swinged by McDonald's and it was pretty darn good. I have to make it a habit more often. Service was good. Everything was good. Food was good
It was after 2am when we ordered and the menu screen was glitching, about which the employees could understandably do nothing. What was really amazing, though, is that the food was absolutely freshly prepared and really hot! It was excellent for a late-night snack/meal.
McDonald's is McDonald's but this one did everything I was expecting and they did it right. The store (include the restroom) was clean and well kept. The person that took our order was very good, she went the extra mile and asked each of my grandkids for there order directly. That's something you don't see too often and the kids were thrilled to be able to order for themselves. The fry's we're the best I've had in a long time, fresh and hot plus they had the perfect amount of salt. The play area was an added bonus, it's not that big but it was well maintained and the area was safe and secure.

As good as any other McDonald's I been to. They need to open up more space for people to wait for food. Not enough standing room between the self ordering machine and soda machine. I am shoulder to shoulder with people also waiting, and keep getting in the way of others getting soda and trying to place order. I don't mind the wait just need more personal space.
This is a nice location. The food is always good and the staff are friendly. The wait can be extremely long, however, especially late at night. They often close one of the ordering lanes so the line stretches out into the shopping center. If you don't mind potentially waiting half an hour this is a good 24 hour location.
Their service is consistently fast, and the staff members are generally courteous. While it may not offer the gourmet experience some might seek, McDonald’s provides great value for the price. It’s their consistency and convenience that keeps me coming back. A solid 4 stars from me.
Dropped in the McDonald’s to get my morning coffee, it was a little early but there were some customers inside already for the new day. The cashier was off of my orders and tried to shift a blame to my daughter. It was an uncalled for , but anyone could make a mistake . Anyway , put that thing aside . I got my foods and coffee by the way. I would however to add that I loved the apps because there were deals every day and very good deals , seemed like I have came back and back to McDonald more frequently. I must admitted it that without the apps I wouldn’t have known. Good job , so people just download the app and enjoy.

Ok, I admit that I came for the Happy meal toy. The McDonald app’s coupon can be used but they charge you the original price, not the promotion price listed outside. Some other McDonalds allow you to get discount based on the promotion price, not here. The space is pretty limited with a small outdoor playground. It gets packed easily so they will check if you did purchased something to have a seat there. Toy was good, don’t expect too much for the food. Service and cleanness was ok. My kids had fun with their friends at the playground. Recently there is construction going on just by the playground so parking space was limited and it was pretty noisy and dusty.
hadn't eaten here in over a year because of price increases but decided to try the new $6 meal deal. used the mobile app to order ahead of time but still had to park and wait several minutes after going through the drive thru. then after all that they didn't include the chicken nuggets with my meal. at least the food i did get was good, so i can't rate them too harshly overall.
A very busy breakfast @ McDs. The staff order taking was smooth and she was nice. They got behind a we patiently waited for table service. I tried to ask for sauce but was ignored. So I followed staff to front counter. One sauce is comp here, additional are 25¢ Moderately loud here but there were tables to sit. Was not happy with the attitude the drive-thru staff had that was helping drop food at tables. No reason for it, quite unprofessional. Manager was nice.

Peak lunch hour at very busy shopping center. Very difficult to park at this McDonald's as most people wanted to do the drive-thru and it blocks the parking lot. Extremely loud inside as employee screaming out order numbers all the time, hard to understand or hear the cashier due to covid masks and her low voice, however the end order was corrected after verifying it three times, a self-service fountain area is available at this location, However I'm not sure I would come back to this location due to poor parking lay out, customer service and food was good.
I hate to post this, because McDonald's is pretty consistent. Ordered in the driver thru, got sent to the the "waiting spot," Then sat there for 15 minutes watching at least 11 cars behind me get their orders. 2 happy meals and the big mac deal were too much for this McDonald's apparently.
Simply put, the food here is worse than other McDonald's. I've been to this location a few times and every time I have been let down by their quality. Fries have been undercooked, the deluxe crispy chicken sandwich (which is normally my favorite menu item at any McDonald's) is shockingly dry and overcooked. Even their breakfast has been a let down. Normally I'll drive to the next McDonald's near me instead of going to this one, but I thought I'd give it another try today since it is close to home. I won't bother anymore, and I recommend anyone else to go to any another location if you want a decently cooked meal.
Killed my hopes and dreams but We all have bad days. Including the customers. McDonald's app zero, the frustrated worker trying to not strangle me for not figuring out the stupid app and then did but got locked out of the deal and now I know longer trusted them to not mess with my food so I'm now home starving cuz of my own pride and it's not her fault but I still want to be mad at you. 5 stars. You're a star and better than any arches, even golden ones. Proof though I had a dang number but yet food less.
All of the cashiers were new, with no managers to look out for them as they didn't know how to input our orders. Not the new guys' fault, managers' fault, but I watched order after order get input wrong. They didn't put our combos in as combos, so our order was almost $4 extra, which I later had the manager fix and refund. I could hear a bunch of customers remarking that a shift shouldn't only have new people trying to help a lunch rush. 2 stars instead if 1 since they refunded my non-combo amount and gave me cream I had asked for in my coffee.
The food was good and all but the manager treated us terribly we were asking about the skincare kit that they said on the app they would provide after a $1 minimum purchase. We were ordering from 3 diff accounts and she said keep on ordering and we would get the kit afterwards we ordered and after we had asked her she said that they don’t provide that here. Food amazing customer service terrible since I was a Muslim. So rascit. She was treating others so good but when it came to me and my hijabi sister she was incredibly racist.
The food is good, I love this McDonald's because I was a regular because me and my friend would go once every week. Now that he moved I started to notice that it hasn't been as appealing. But that's not the reason. Why I give it this review is because one day I accidentally left my bike unlocked which was my fault but then when I came back it was gone. Turns out, one of the employees had moved it to the back without telling anyone. So My father assumed that the employee that had moved the bike might have been trying to keep it away from people so that they could end up stealing it after they were done with their job. Also they seemed happy when me and my friend would first come there but then when we started coming more often, they had lost their smiles and I don't know if it was that they just didn't like us or we did something but I think 2 stars is right for this place.
I went to this McDonalds and ordered 5 burgers and 1 fry. $22+ in food. I asked for Ranch and was told they charge for ranch even though I ordered 5 burgers and a fry. I was told they only come with nuggets. If your reading this review I would go to the McDonald's off Culver in Irvine. They manager there cares about customer service and return customers .
This location only accepts cash a lot of the time because their registers are periodically broken. The wait times for drive thru are sometimes ridiculous (as in not moving for 15 minutes, no exaggeration) when there are as little as 4 or 5 cars in line. That means If you don't carry cash you might just be stuck waiting there in line for a very long time for no reason. I feel bad for the employees because I'm sure the logistics behind this aren't their fault, and I'm sure they deal with a lot of grumpy customers as a result. Not sure what the deal is, but its like playing Russian roulette every time come here over the past 5 years (they are the only nearby 24 hour drive thru).
i ordered at the kiosk and the food came quickly, but the cashier was rude and refused to take more than 3 orders at a time in total. i wanted to make another order for a drink, but no other workers came up to take orders.
Another wrong order. This place is really bad at reading the order tickets. I cannot count how many times I ordered takeout or delivery and they always get my order wrong. Tonight I ordered delivery of a Big Mac menu, with a Sprite and asked for two packs of mayo. My delivery was a Big Mac, fries, no mayo and the Sprite was water. I checked my receipt to make sure I ordered correctly, and I did. But my order, as every single time, is missing the additional requested sauces. This location is so below par versus my old Costa Mesa location. Food is usually dry, and service always poor.
Terribly slow at drive thru, they asked us to pull into a waiting sport for a double shot frap, and after 15 minuets of waiting I had to go in and ask for it. Pretty sure they also gave us the wrong drink and an employee went outside and gave my drink to a different customer. Do not recommend this location.

Customer service left much to be desired, but I didn't expect much for a McDonald's. They're quite stingy with the sauces and will charge you extra for more, even if you've only received one for a meal entree. Probably a management issue so I won't stress it. Overall just another McDonald's.

I had a really disappointing experience at this McDonald's location. After placing my order and paying with my card on my phone, I went to pick up my food, only to find out it had been given to someone else. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, this one staff doubted me and questioned whether I had even paid. I showed proof of my payment with my recipe and phone, but they didn't seem to understand how card payments through a phone work. Even after explaining, I was treated poorly and made to feel like I was in the wrong. This whole situation could have been handled better with more training and professionalism from the staff. I hope this location improves its customer service to avoid treating other customers this way in the future.

I always order thru the app. I come very often, I always see a nice gentlemen but as of lately for some reason they’ve been having the app down. McDonald’s is really good for their deals and that’s why I go. But I called to let them know their app was down and the young girl just gave me an attitude. A few nights before this, I saw someone show a lady at the window that the app was down and shortly after the app was back up and running. I don’t know if they do it on purpose so we have to pay a little more ? Also the lines are bigger bc the app is down. I have to wait a lot longer than usual. This is super frustrating.
I don't know who was working here on July 13 around midnight but there was awful service. They didn't even give me the guava pie I payed for and I ordered large fries but they only filled up half the container with the other half being filled with ketchup packets. Only saving grace was my quarter pounder with bacon.
Edit: finally checked the bag and the bacon McDouble we can back for didn't even have bacon. Annoying. 3 times still couldn't get it right. I sent my husband in as they did not correctly fill out my order. They had an attitude and made him repeat the order 3 times. Next they walk in the back and my husband hears someone "just give it to him it is a complaint". They also didn't give us a receipt when we paid which is what caused the uproar. Not our fault.

Nuggets dripped so badly in quality that I threw 3/4 of them away. McFlurry has gotten smaller. They have removed the menu board and show advertisements instead. People are now forced to order without a person. It is a cold experience and not welcoming. No one greeted me. No board showing which orders are ready or being worked on.
Been here for 45 minutes waiting for our food this afternoon. Should have gone through the drive through and then brought the food in. Drive through is always the priority.
It's pretty consistently bad. Past few times, I've been late at night bc I work nights, often told they "ran" out of stuff that I ordered and waited till I'm at the window after they took my order. Some visits, they don't take cash for some reason when I've tried to pay in cash, then the next visit won't take credit or debit and say their machines are down. The last time I ordered, one of the items was ice cold, and the spicy chicken sandwich was dripping in gallons of the sauce, soaked through, and was inedible. Plus, the unavoidable diarrhea that always follows , all in all, makes for a terrible time and me slapping myself, asking, "Why do I keep coming here "

You order condiments on the app it says cost: 0$ each, then the staff ask you for 0.25$ each! At pickup, It’s just absurd. And they argue that you’re wrong and the app does not offer free condiments!!

McDonald's employees, and to be more specific, a person named Dana, are asking DoorDash drivers to confirm in front of them that they have received the food. This is a great insult to the hardworking drivers, as it implies that they are thieves. 🤔
If I could put a zero I would, the older lady mixed up my order, I had to explain myself more than 4 times, after that she still had my order wrong and over charged me because she didn't understand. The other workers where kind enough to help and understand this situation and helped. Thank God for co workers. This all happened at 2130 to 2140 today.
The in dining experience is terrible. Place your order and takes a long long long time. They can't even toast bread. Remind them you wanted water, several napkins, extra creamer and the cashier keeps repeating the stupid mantra"You didn't ask." F0ck it, I asked several times!!!

They don’t deserve one star I ordered drive through because the store was closed. my body needed sugar I ordered large caramel frappe. knocked on them they opened the store for me but they refused to give me my order I have low blood sugar I begged them just to give it to me my body was collapsing they said to go drive through, they don’t have any sense of humanity I am really disappointed that McDonald’s is hiring such people they should train their employees to act professionally.

in my experience coming here the night staff is just insufferable. they have a horrible horrible attitude especially when it comes to stuff with the mobile orders. apparently you can only do two orders at a time and we had three separate orders and explained that to them but they caught an attitude as usual and told us we had to go back around through the drive thru. so we went back around and got the order. we also asked for a few water cups and they acted like it was such an inconvenience like god forbid we get some water cups and extra sweet and sour sauce. imma still come back tho cuz its the only mcdonalds open 24 hours near me but for the love of god the workers need to drop the attitude or they just need all around need new staff.
Tables dirty. Claimed to not have any highchairs (which I found 3 later). No changing tables in either restroom. Not even a broken one.
Always get a receipt at the drive thru. They asked me to leave the line and wait for my cheese burger but never brought it out. Went inside to retrieve the food and staff said they were confused because they had to many orders? When we received the food it was cold. Save yourself the time and drive somewhere else it will be faster.
Our family has been coming here for decades. Now they are at the point where not only do they make you pull forward and wait for every drive-thru order. They do it to all the cars and those spots designated for waiting for your food are all full and we are finding ourselves having just stop in the middle of the parking lot. Waiting for the guy to bring out the food. Why other people are honking at you. Mcdonald's needs to commit to just making sure that every person gets their food at the window and stops all of this nonsense or we will not be coming here anymore.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at McDonald's recently. I used the drive-thru to order a simple cheeseburger and a small Coke, but when I checked my receipt, I was shocked to see I was charged $61.44. When I asked the staff why I was charged such a ridiculous amount, they just closed the window on me. After waiting for about 10 minutes, they handed me a cheeseburger and ice cream. I told them I didn't order ice cream and just wanted the Coke I originally asked for, but again, they closed the window. Five minutes later, they finally gave me a Coke. To make things worse, the cheeseburger they gave me was cold. Even after all of this, they never properly refunded me. When I checked my account later, I saw they had charged me almost $10 for just a cold cheeseburger and a small Coke. This experience was beyond disappointing and unprofessional. I will never go to McDonald's again, especially after this level of incompetence and poor service
Do not go to this McDonald's! I was in line wanting an ice cream cone, as I got up to the cashier I was told they wouldn't sell it to me. They had over book the seating in their McDonald's because of a big party and was refusing to serve anybody else. That is a sucky way to run a business. I will not go back! That was a horrible way to treat the customer.

I’m not sure what happened tonight. I asked for extra sauce for my Filet-O-Fish, but not only did I not receive extra—they actually gave me less than usual and with no cheese??? On top of that, the fries were cold. The management team really needs to pay closer attention to these issues. Also, when I checked the reviews, I saw that this kind of situations happened multiple times already. I don’t understand why the management hasn’t fix this yet. This is also the first time I wrote a review for McDonald's.
The customer service, & inability to prepare a correct order given the easy made process of online ordering is through the roof. You can spend as much as you want but even after $40-$50 dollars are still required to purchase sauces beyond the small amount given. The app lets you choose how many condiments you want with no notion of a limit, only to be limited once you’ve gotten your order home to show the correct amount on the receipt but minus their store policy, not company policy. Should be ashamed taking money for condiments & making people turn around having to go back to be told you have to pay for more & needing the order to be remade because it in itself is also missing items. The days of fast food are gone, the incapable in-sufferance is here to stay
Just a friendly reminder to double-check your order before you leave. On my last visit, a drink was missing from my order, and I didn’t notice until after I had already driven off. The staff seemed very busy, and while mistakes do happen, it would be nice if orders were checked a bit more carefully before being handed out. Overall, the customer service could be better. I also noticed today that my Filet-O-Fish had barely any sauce on it — just a small drop — which felt a bit off. This was especially noticeable since I had mentioned a missing drink from a previous visit when I came in today. If you come here, I’d recommend taking a quick moment at the window to make sure everything is included and prepared properly. Hopefully this helps others avoid the same experience.
This McDonald's often forgets my orders. Last night they didn't give me a small portion of fries, so I called to ask. They promised to send me a large portion, but when I went to the store and waited a long time, they said they could only give me a small portion. If they can't keep their promises, there's no need to lie. Their staff training needs improvement.
I thought McDonald was fast food man but it seems like after 30min I still didn’t get the food I wonder when will I get the food
Worse experience ever!! I waited 20 min for my mobile order and it’s a very simple order!! The guy asked me to park next to the white truck across the street. They said they went out for me but they could not find me. I literally parked right next to the white truck across their front door! I even waved to the person came out! They said they never saw me!
Three things went wrong. 1. My coffee came out iced, I corrected the lady who helped with my order and she DIDN’T believe me… I showed both receipts and she gave me a huge sigh and complied to re-make it. 2.The one substitution we made was not done I.e: cheese and no onions 3. It took them forever to make all of our food and then fix my coffee and yet the manager seemed even more angry than us
Double check your drive thru order!!! Fries were missing from my order. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until I had driven off :( staff member in the pick-up window seemed to be in a rush.
Don’t waste your money on milkshakes from this spot everytime i order it has a different flavor to it
Hands down the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to, service is terrible. Everyone I’ve been here I’ve had to wait an obnoxious amount of time to receive shitty cold food! Never again. If your smart you’ll avoid this place
This old short lady in a bright green worker vest, working in the back bagging orders at 630a this morning, October 29, had the nerve to slam my bag on the counter that I was picking up for someone else. I wanted to curse her out but chose to keep my stress level down. She asked me for the order number when the app said the restaurant was supposed to give Me the order number. Then after showing the order name she grabbed the back and SLAMMED it. Unacceptable. I will tell her off if I see her again and she acts this way.
My child used his points to redeem an ice cream cone today. When he showed the QR code, the staff said it had already been used, which was not true. They didn’t listen to any explanation, and my child felt very upset. It was disappointing to see such an unfriendly attitude toward a young kid.
This location is a nightmare. I don't really care for leaving these types of reviews often, but I just wanted to warn people to steer clear of this McDonald's. We waited for over 20 minutes for our order, and the staff was particularly unfriendly here. Nothing was said about our food taking so long. They offered no apology. The service overall seems to be particularly slow here, as there was a long line forming due to other people's orders taking so long. To make matters worse, once an order is ready, the staff angrily shout order numbers at the top of their lungs in the most irritated and angry fashion possible There are no napkins, a condiment station, or soda machine except at the counter. This is the type of McDonald's that gives its brand such a bad reputation.
On 8-23-25 around 6:40 am I went to this Macdonald to get 2 sausage Mac muffins I asked that Hispanic female who was taking the orders I don’t want eggs on them burgers and I want a small Coke she said coffee and I told her no Coke she was keep talking and not listening she charged me for burgers with eggs which I told her I don’t want eggs earlier 20 seconds before then she gave me back the money no !!!!!! she charged me 3 different transactions which I don’t understand what she did then she asked me if I want hot sauce or ketchup I told her ketchup she gave me the bag guess what no ketchup in there she couldn’t even do a simple task
Food is great and service is always quick… just wished they had better service at the drive thru windows. There’s always a girl with a caked up face who wears glasses, all that on her face and she still can’t hide the fact that she’s in a bad mood. Do better.
The most unprofessional employees in all of Irvine are at the drive-thru of the McDonald’s locations in the area. The staff taking orders don’t greet customers, have trouble hearing, and take a long time to prepare orders. After the cashier was rude to me, I responded loudly so she could hear me. Apparently, she took offense, and this is the breakfast I received. The eggs and patty are watery, and pieces of the pancake are missing. I have something to compare it to; this is not the first time I’ve ordered this breakfast. I suspect this was done on purpose. Order time: 7 AM, February 17, 2025. Please address this issue with your staff. I will never order from McDonald’s again in my life. And of course I threw the breakfast away.
Update : They gave me an expired card, or the girl still lives last year. These people are the worst. Please help them. goodbye McDonald's. I feel like they mocked the customers and me they couldn't find my recipe they didn't ask what I ordered. They just gave me that card and said sorry for the inconvenience, girl, I'm sorry for you. Have a good day.
