Opinions de Paradise Bowls Irvine
There was a suppppppeeerrr nice and hot dude making me and my sisters bowls. Maybe one day he can personally make my bowl. ;) haha jk. But for real, he is super sweet and very helpful. I love the bowls here and I will definitely come back *^°^*
Best bang for your buck 24oz for 10 dollars. Açaí tastes great and they let me sub in pitaya for banana in the blend no charge. Highly recommend.
Super yummy, fresh, delicious! Always reliable for flavor and portions. Also it always smells so clean and good inside but never smells like cleaner. Perfect.
My favourite place for fruit bowls . They are always superrrr busy but I just live their quality , quantity and taste .
Where do I begin when the name says it all, paradise indeed with every bite with every visit. Consistency is key but how about topping it off with every visit, and that's what this place gives me. This place never fails me and I come here a lot, always the same great bowl everytime. I am so happy and fortunate that this place is close to where I live, but I would drive miles for the perfect bowl. And I think two key elements add to this paradise experience, great management and amazing employees. Always smiling, always happy to serve, and always fast service with never a compromise on the delicious bowls they serve. Jordan and Zion from my perspective are A1 performers, seen them handle pressure with ease. Skimming through the flow with style and always so happy to help, and serve these amazing variety of bowls. Thank you guys for always making my day by offering consistent amazing bowls and making my experience always so delightful, worth every penny, worth every visit.
I’ve had many great Acai bowls before but this place is perhaps my favorite. I’m actually craving one right now as I write this. Everything is super fresh, healthy and loaded with amazing flavors. My go to is the Peach Bum with honey and extra coconut shavings 🤤 so good.
I work nearby and order from here at least once per week. Make sure to order online for pickup as the line can get a bit long at certain times of the day. When I get an acai or pitaya bowl I spring for extra granola and they usually put it on the bottom which makes for perfect spoonfuls the entire time.
I've been to a lot of acai bowl places and this consistently remains the best value and taste. Not to mention they are pretty helpful in making simple subs since I personally hate bananas. Place is usually busy during lunch time since it's in a popular shopping center but you can always order ahead of time. Definitely try it out if you're looking for a healthy alternative.
Paradise Bowls always satisfies my acai bowl craving! It can get pretty busy, especially during the summer season so expect to wait a bit. I haven't tried many acai bowl places, but why try any other new places when I get great quality bowls from here!!
People that work here were kind and friendly, It's my first time visiting here..I ordered medium and paid for the same. Later upon spotting the bowl size, I did ask for a large and they upgraded without any extra charge. Appreciate it
Fruit on top is fresh, not frozen! The flavor is way better than other places because of it
Update: if ordering by phone, FYI they don't answer phones within 30 min. of closing time. Cheaper than other healthy bowl and juice options, but same quality. I'd recommend their smoothies over the bowls here.
The best acai and pitaya bowls in Southern California. The staff here is Young and energetic and mixes up their own special blend of these smoothie type bowls, but will customize to whatever you want or don't want. The best I've had anywhere. Healthy and nutritious desserts that everyone loves.
First meal of the day after an early cross country flight. It was very refreshing and I felt rejuvenated after we ate here. The staff were professional, the place was clean, and my bowl was delicious. This place is great!
Oh ya! Second visit here and great once agin. I forget what I ordered but it was delicious! I ordered a medium bowl and it was so big they put it in a large container. The açaí was a creamy consistency, not too frozen and not too runny. The fresh fruit on top was fresh. Blueberries were so yummy! The strawberries were so sweet! I asked for a scoop of peanut butter on top to add some protein and it was no problem. Highly recommended
Very impressed with this place for $11 you get a HUGE BOWL, I mean it’s gigantic, you might be able to feed a family of four...I think this is the best value açaí bowl I’ve had, and the granola is without wheat! Except for the molasses they use in it...And it’s organic where they can do it! And there’s no matcha which is a plus for me, I don’t want to eat uppers!!! Super happy customer, will be going out of my way to go here again! That’s my cup holder for scale....
So many delicious and healthy choices. Very convenient and cozy place for açaí bowl and more!
Always my favorite. I’ve tried different places but Paradise Bowl is the best. Lots of fruits and always friendly customer service. 😋try the Chocolate Arch and their smoothies.
Very good açaí bowl. Good amount and balance of fruit, açaí and granola at an affordable price.
So so yummy!!! The bowls are bomb. Added some updated pricing as of August 2023
Jacob and Alex couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Paradise Bowls is a decent spot to go when craving smoothies or Acai. Their açaí bowls are consistently fresh and well-prepared, with that perfect balance of sweet and tart that makes açaí so addictive. I ordered their "Island Bowl" which comes loaded with granola, banana, strawberries, and a drizzle of honey. The portions are generous enough to feel satisfying without being overwhelming. Their smoothies are equally impressive – smooth, perfectly blended, and not too icy. What keeps this from being a perfect 5-star review? Two minor things: the prices are a bit on the high side (though comparable to other açaí places), and during peak hours the wait can stretch to 15-20 minutes. Their mobile ordering helps with this, but it's something to be aware of if you're in a hurry. The staff is generally friendly. The location on Barranca is clean and has a nice beachy vibe that makes you feel like you're getting a little taste of vacation while you eat. If you're looking for a nutritious meal or post-workout refuel in Orange County, Paradise Bowls definitely deserves a spot in your regular rotation. Just maybe avoid the lunch rush if you're pressed for time.

The acai Peanut butter smoothie slaps. 12/10. My daily. keeps you full. Basically a meal replacement if you're tryna get skinny. Fresh fruit and cut to order! Wish it was closer to my house, id be here so often!
Customized smoothies to cater to my interests for a low sugar healthy option. Highly recommend this place and will be there again.
Paradise Bowls is a wonderful place to get your "blended" fruit bowl. The price is high but you do get a nutritious, healthy bowl of goodness, made to order. Service is less than Disneyland quality, but, you're not paying three digits just to get in the door. The food is worth the lack of eye contact...

Used to be our go to. Prices are just crazy at this point
Delicious bowls with astounding variety that come at a price. However it is most important to note the exceptional staff. Paradise Bowls seems to employ the most exceptional staff I have ever encountered. Taylor and Miles served me better than any one else in my life with unparalleled humility and style. I hope to be served by them every time I come!
Been coming here for years and I really like their bowls but the prices have gotten a bit out of control… over $13 for a medium bowl? I think is a bit excessive. They are pretty quick with making their bowls though, and customer service is good. some seating available inside and more available outside in the shade. They have added new things to the menu like bagels and avocado toast. And they have a selection of drinks and snacks to choose from as well if that’s what you’re in the mood for.

I love the acai bowls. Great options and many ways to customize. Always been consistent. Staff could be a little more friendly or attentive, and the overall atmosphere is lacking, but the product is solid.
They changed their name recently but it still feels the same as before (which is good). The options they have are good and the acai bowls are better than other places I've had but can be pricier than other locations. I like the consistency better here since the texture is a bit more solid and not as slimy (not sure what else to say) as other bowls I've had. I also recommend calling in 15 minutes ahead of time if you want to skip the line in case they have one. Makes it easy to pick up and go.

Taste pretty good. Three stars because it was a bit pricey and they do not have eco-friendly utensils . Will bump up the stars once they do.
Have always had a great experience with the food and it always makes me feel healthy afterward. 3 stars because they almost never answer the phone and close up very early compared to the hours listed on the door. Has resulted in driving to a closed shop on more than one occasion despite arriving up to an hour before closing.
Our bowls overall we great, healthy and restorative. Choice of ingredients was fantastic and the bowls were created with care. However, the kiwi fruit was under-ripe and altered one of the flavors of one bowl. The team addressed the issue in a very friendly manner, however, check the ingredients before adding.
This place is ok. Don't get me wrong, the products they sell are delicious! Good quality ingredients. However when I did go in, I was standing at the register waiting for them to take my order. The cashier didn't even acknowledge me and he kept joking and talking to his coworkers, while I was patiently waiting. When he did acknowledge me, he didn't even smile, didn't even apologize for the wait, and I paid for my item, and hurried up to call the next customer! What's up with that!? Thats why I say, its just ok for me. I'll find another smoothie bowl place that appreciates my business.
When I went it was empty and while choosing our items, my friend and I were laughing, I'm not sure if that was the reason but when I went up to order I did not like how the cashier was. As I said, I was laughing so I went up with a smile and generally feeling happy. His way of ringing me up was kind of "uh huh .. let's get this order over with" I tried to act like it didn't bug me and continued to order. He really made me change my mood. The people who made my order and gave it to me were very nice, I did not catch their names unfortunately, but that male cashier really should not be a cashier with that manner. Hopefully no one else gets an experience like mine.
If only I could afford to go here more often. I generally order the "Barefoot Bowl". Staff is friendly enough for how busy they are. I wish they had a punch or stamp card for returning customers. Update: They have now discontinued the availability of Goji berries. -1⭐
We came by for a quick lunch. We ordered a small Gaucho and a medium Chocolate Arc. They were decent, nothing special. Not much interaction with the staff except when we placed our order. There is one table and a few window seats available for dining in.

Overall good food, but employees fail to follow directions. I had asked an employee to hold an ingredient in a bowl due to an allergy and they put it in the bowl anyways. Probably should look elsewhere if you have severe food allergies.
Hello, I recently came in on November 18th, at around 1:30 PM. The gentleman behind the counter who took my order made me feel very uncomfortable and asked for my number. I don’t think this was appropriate being that the guy was on the clock. 1 star for professionalism. But I will give an extra star because the food was made properly.
Smoothie bowl was ok, had big hunks of frozen peaches where they didn’t care enough to blend it fully.
Went there today (Monday) around 2pm and the minute I walk in one of the male workers is sitting on the kitchen counter where they prep the bowls. Talk about infection control issue. Anyway I order a bowl which was good but overall the cleanliness was pretty bad. He had gloves on and he's touching his undershirt and then touching the food item and using the blender. I would skip it next time. Staff need to show better hygiene and infection control.

Yummy yummy stuff!!! But the staff, the staff!!!!! Stiff!!!!! Seriously, I want new employees, they do not smile, their faces are like zombies..... Service is soooooooo slow, common!!!!!!!!! I wait for like 15-20 minutes for an item, unacceptable.... And they are asking for tips????!!!!!! Sorry, I am a tipper, but I have to urge to give them a penny........
Just pass and order some bowls And the person That help me His name is YA IS Very unprofessional Rude I will be getting in touch with the owner He needs to have better customer skills employees I was giving my order to him And very rude He said I'm not asking you on the toping I'm asking you if you want honey But I replied to him I'm not done with my order And I said Why are you rude He didn't say anything And I said You are not very professional He said I don't care I have been going to this place for several years Even before it became paradise bowls I will try one more time To see if they change their attitude and have better customer service But I will be taking to the owner
Very disappointed, hate it when they close early to clean up! Why don't they just post that they close 7 minutes prior to actual closing times. Also, if customers make a conscientious effort to come to your store, please serve them and don't turn them away! Will not return!!
Fruit is not fresh and the customer service was way below par for a place at this caliber. I would not recommend coming with a medium/bigger group as the workers work incredibly slow.
This is the second time it has happened to me, first time I let it slide. Their doors say close at 6:00 pm. I drove down knowing that was the case and got here at 5:30. The doors were locked, lights were off but employees still in the store cleaning. They did not answer their phone and they had a few people outside inquiring what was happening. Finally one of them opened the door and said that they were closed because their machine wasn't working yet they don't inform anybody just lock the doors. When asked about not answering the phone, he said the phones get turned off at 5:30 cause of the rush before close. When asked for the owner or manager he said they didn't have that information at the moment. They offered no help or answer to anybody waiting and there were at least 6 different parties outside. They had a too bad so sad attitude. I'm not sure the owner knows that the employees are closing early so that they can leave by 6:00 rather than close at 6:00. Horrible way to run a business. Complete disregard.
Don’t get me wrong, the acai bowl itself is 5/5. But the service is 1/5. When I picked up my acai bowl, it was all melted so I requested a new one. I waited 15 extra minutes just to get another melted bowl lol. At this point I think they just serve whatever half-melted acai bowl to customers. Oh, also they are very, very slow. The photo was taken right after I got my 2nd (another) melted bowl.
When I first came in no one greeted me and they were silent I had to say hello first. Then as I’m eating it I stop and see this long brown piece of hair in the bowl. It is definitely not mine as I just came from the gym and my hair is in a tight pony. Also it was mixed in, I noticed it after eating a bit of it almost like the hair was underneath mixed in. Sooooo gross and a waste of my money!!!!

EDIT: 9/14/2024 Changing my prior review to 1 star. I live in San Diego so I hardly get to eat here anymore, but I was driving into town and tried to place a phone order at approximately 5:30 PM and again approximately 5:35 PM. Unfortunately no one picked up the phone so I figured I would get here 15 minutes before closing to order in person. When I arrived, I had to wait for a few minutes. Eventually, one of the employees told me that the kitchen closed at 5:30pm, despite the sign on the door saying 6pm. It was 15 minutes before closing when I arrived. The woman whose order they did take said she arrived no more than 5 minutes before me. When I asked if there was a manager to speak with, I was told there was no manager and that there would be no manager all week. The employee that I spoke with said his name was Carlos. The other customers and I all walked out confused and upset by the experience. The employees turned off the lights and left the shop by around 5:55pm, despite the hours listed on the door and online saying they close at 6pm. Prior review: This was my first time trying Paradise Bowls and I loved it! Ordered on the phone and my açaí bowls were ready when I arrived. The portion size is huge for the price. Other places in the area charge a lot more for the same or smaller size. Highly recommend!
