My boyfriend and I got take out from this restaurant last night and it was excellent. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. I had the fish and chips. The fish portion was large and the batter was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The family who now owns the business was very friendly and allowed us to try some of their incredible wings and different sauces. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

I run the garage next door and stopped over for some wings on my lunch break. Absolutely hands down the best wings I've ever had. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, wings were cooked fast and done perfectly. If you haven't tried the food here you're absolutely missing out!

The best wings in Albany! probably some of the best wings I’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly every time. Their fried fish is actually SEASONED, and seasoned right, which no other fish place around does, and again, it’s cooked perfectly. Their fries are seasoned good, too. Tried the snow crab and the portions you get for the price is some of the best, without sacrificing good quality and flavor. Every time we go our food is cooked fresh and hot to order. They also sell little cakes and not only do they taste great, they have the most amazing texture that even bakeries can’t get right. Even my nephew’s burger looked really good and nicely cooked lol. The owners are always so friendly and professional, you can tell they love taking care of their patrons and put love in their food. Love this spot

Found this place on Google, while looking for good seafood boil. The rating was 4.8. That made me happy so I took my husband to lunch on his birthday (Valentine's Day). WORTH IT!!! We decided to get the El Jefe meal (which we had enough left over for dinner that night too) and it was delicious!! We also tried the lemon cake... Delicious! And the chocolate chip cookies..... Delicious. I have been thinking of when we can go back ever since. Apart from the food, I loved the vibe. The owner played great music (70's & 80's Funk and R&B) and was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend and will also be returning soon!!

Sometimes I wake up in the morning craving a specific food. This morning, that was fish and chips. I found myself searching around on my phone, wherein I found HOTT STUFF N BUTTA. The name itself intrigued me, but the photos were what sealed the deal. In particular the shot of a philly cheesesteak. A philly cheesesteak with fried shrimp on it. HOTT STUFF N BUTTA is ready to break all the rules. I got my fish and chips with shrimp added. The breading is incredible and the attention to detail, down to the way the shrimp is cut in order to make sure everything is cooked evenly, is impressive. I will be going back. Frequently.

Food was great! I spoke with one of the owners while I waited for my orders. The shrimp dinner was butterflied then fried and my sons chicken sandwich was just delicious! Will be going back. The owners were just wonderful.

Let me start by saying I paid about 50$ for 2 potatoes, 2 corn, 2 clusters of crab legs and an ice tea and French fries. Great price, came hot and fresh. Lots of butter on the side and the crab legs and the sauce and corn were all easily a 10/10, although they scallop their potatoes making them very salty and very soggy aswell, would have preferred small red potatoes instead. And the French fries were just a bit too salty for me but overall I’d give this place a 9-10!!

I have not returned yet (never say never), but the first time I went there it was pouring rain, and the owners had to do some abatement. Fortunately, I was able to hang out while the food I ordered was cooking to avoid the rain storm. At that time, they were saying they had to update their menus, but I found a couple items to try - the fish and chips and the wings. By the time I left, the rain had passed. They use a southern-style seasoning which was pretty good, but I still favor flavors that are tied to the Northeast territory. Compared to other local restaurants and eateries, the fish was better cooked which is a plus for anyone seeking good fish. It was also served on a good size bed of crinkle cut fries. The wings were decent, but those could have used less breading. If you have never been there, the place might not seem like much when you enter, but the owners were very friendly and good to talk with. They have places to sit and TVs to watch. If you’re curious and looking for a potential fish/seafood place, check it out! It’s not hidden, but “tucked away” to the west side of the Mavis Discount Tire store on Central Avenue. You may also discover that the prices are reasonable, too!

I like the food quality here but the portions and online process was a big issue for me. Ordered Ubereats last night and they have 2 of the same order with different prices. I ordered the 8 piece shrimp for 15$ and there was a 10$ version. I thought the 15$ version came with fries but it didn’t. What’s the difference in the meal? In terms of portions, I remember the last time I ordered, I got 1 catfish, 8 shrimp and fries. Total came up to Damn near 35-40 dollars and no drink! Again food was delicious but not for that price
