My wife told me that Sichuan people like to say, I can take spicy dishes. Whereas Hunan people like to say, I'm scared that this dish is not spicy enough! (Hope I didn't butcher that saying). Regardless, you get what I mean. Since moving to the East Bay, my wife and I were looking for some legitimate Chinese food. Not the greasy, starchy, Chinese food that is catered toward an American palate, but Chinese food that showcases the cuisine of China. Wojia is proudly Chinese and highlights the spicy delicacies that Hunan has to offer. As another reviewer has mentioned, there are a total of 108 items to choose from. Regretting not bringing friends to join us, we only had the capacity to choose three items. Bring your friends and family people! Items we ordered were as follows: 1. Glutinous rice balls: Wow! This is a unique item that I've had as a sweet dish, but never as savory. Perfectly fried glutinous rice balls that are filled with black sesame tossed in sweet, salty, and spicy dry seasoning as well as deep fried chilli to go with it. Beautifully presented and couldn't stop eating them. 2. Spicy Hot pot noodle with lamb: Spicy with not so subtle hints of cumin and chilli oil that coats your mouth with deliciousness. This dish is simple but good. It's got a good ratio of lamb, choy, and noodles in a spicy broth you'll want to slurp. 3. Steamed enoki mushrooms: The accountant in me screams at me for ordering this, but it's so good! Perfectly steamed, the texture of the mushrooms gives it a nice snap with each bite. The flavor is slightly tangy with salted chilli to remind you that you're in a Hunan restaurant. All items we got were promptly devoured. We were stuffed, but wondering when we could come back... with more people next time. Thanks Wojia. You make me proud to be Chinese.
The family was craving authentic Chinese food, so we decided to return to Wojia. This was my first time at Wojia, and though I'd heard the raving reviews of my family members from their previous visits, I was wary due to my history of having a low spice tolerance. However, I must say that Wojia thoroughly satisfied our cravings, and more. The food is authentic, well-crafted, and plated beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I not only could tolerate, but went back bite after bite for each spicy dish. There is something here for everyone: from spice-neophytes to spice-aficionados. My brother and dad, both spice-lovers, pointed out that the spice was not only to their liking, but appropriately spiced as marked. Even dishes with a spice level of "one pepper" do not disappoint in terms of flavor delivery. We ordered two vegetable dishes and two meat dishes: sautéed pea sprouts with garlic, griddle cabbage with pork, grilled pork chops with cumin, and hunan style sautéed lamb. The dishes were generous, flavorful, and made with precision and an attention to detail. I must say, each dish, upon served, immediately had me digging in and going back for more! The steam coming from the dishes contributed to their delectable quality, knowing that our food was thoughtfully prepared and served fresh and hot from the kitchen. The vegetable dishes were light, yet packed with juices and flavor. I was most impressed with the pork chops. As one who often appreciates the extra detail and time put into a plate's presentation, I will say that these pork chops were quite pleasing. Each chop had the perfect amount of crunch topping atop the perfectly grilled meat. The crushed peanuts and pepper seasonings complemented the meat, which was first crispy but then melted in your mouth. As for our dining experience itself, the interior was clean, airy, and well-decorated with a mix of modern and Chinese touches. The service was quick and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant and memorable dining experience! I will return to Wojia for Hunan food again when visiting Berkeley in the future!
Overcoming my initial disappointment on the closure of V- pot, one of my favorite quick Hunan soup spots, I was at first struck with the care taken to changing the interior, and totally rebranding the restaurant. Not sure what happened, but the place seems a little more upscale, and has a number of traditional Hunan dishes not often available on this side of the bay. (Like Aorta of ox) In the chinese food culture, and especially in Hunan cuisine, there is a strong "snout-to-tail" element, using bits and pieces of meat not generally liked by westerners. And many of the dishes on the menu reflected this, Pig intestine, tendon, and other offal are all featured. I opted to try one dish I'm very familiar with, and one that I was not. I ordered Dan Dan nodles, (# 7 on the menu) a Hunan favorite, and was surprised to find that they came without pork, which was a slight oversight by a new cook, which was quickly taken care of once I pointed it out. Like Dan Dan noodles, are supposed to, they were covered in spicy chili oil, with some crushed peanuts and cilantro over some very fresh tasting noodles. It was delicious. The main course, (# 12 on the menu), spicy beef combination in clay pot, was a revelation. I used to come to this restaurant for the Mao Cai, spicy Hunan combination soup, which often came with noodles, in a large bowl. The version here came in a heavy steel bowl, and was quite a bit more refined, and less salty then its predecessor here under old ownership. Spicy, fragrant, and very subtle, with numbing peppers, and several different cuts of beef including tripe, skirt steak, and tendon, the combination came together beautifully in a soup that I highly recommend. I'll be coming back here to try out the other Hunan dishes, with the great waiter, Eddie, from Oakland. Give this place 4 out of 5 stars, and love the quiet atmosphere. it's not cheap, but not expensive and definitely a special place to bring someone. SECOND VISIT: as fate would have it, I met a man waiting in line at the local produce store, and overheard him having a conversation about how he was the chef at Wojia Hunan. Sensing an opportunity I introduce myself and asked him if he knew how to make JaJang noodles, since it is difficult to find them prepared in the traditional Chinese way. He invited me down to the restaurant, and today I ordered so JaJang noodles, and the sauteed Hunan beef, and the noodles knocked my socks off. Simply amazing noodles. I noticed the place bustling with customers, and speaking with a Hunan native outside in the parking lot he explained to me how difficult it was to find authentic Hunan food, and that the name wojia itself means "my home" he was there with his entire family, proving once again, that when you are looking for Superior Chinese food, one only has to follow the local Chinese Community to the best spots. Wojia is an amazing place, with an amazing chef, and I look forward to getting outside of my comfort zone and trying some exotic stuff I've never had before. Third visit: I tried the delicious steamed spareribs, covered in some combo of sticky rice and corn and the Chopped Bak Choy Both great. No misses here yet. Check it out! You will not be disappointed. (Never had an Ox aorta before. lol)
“Mapo tofu in full beast mode, delicate, volcanic, unforgettable.” (Wojia serves Hunan fire with a family-style heart.) Wojia is more than just a restaurant, it’s a portal into Hunan cooking that pulls no punches. Tucked into Albany, it’s become a classic stop for my brother and I, who shares my obsession with fiery, flavor-packed dishes. Their mapo tofu is the crown jewel, it arrives bubbling in a cast iron cauldron, red like hell, topped with that unmistakable aroma of Sichuan peppercorns. It looks vicious and unapproachable. That dish is only something the brave recognize, a bold blend of fermented beans, pork, chili oil, and numbing Sichuan peppercorns. Despite the visual fury, the tofu is delicately soft and velvety, proving that great food can be both powerful and tender. Wojia captures the communal spirit of Chinese cuisine with its large circular tables made for family-style dining. Not intended for individual orders, I like that. It's the kind of setup that encourages conversation, sharing, and a little bit of chopstick chaos. The vibe is both proud and playful. One of my favorite details? The menu features a photoshopped image of the head chef towering like a culinary titan, a lighthearted but meaningful nod to the strength and pride embedded in Hunan food culture. Eating here reminds me that California cuisine isn’t just about local farms and fusion trends, it’s also about celebrating immigrant traditions preserved with fire, flavor, and a lot of soul. Wojia doesn’t tone it down, and that’s exactly why I keep going back. It’s bold, flavorful, and consistently delivers exactly what I want.
Everything is excellent. The reviews are accurate. The Griddle-Cooked Sliced Potatoes have Sichuan peppercorns that have an unusual, delicious flavor, and a curious numbing affect. If you like potato chips, you'll love these! Other must-order dishes include the Fried Glutinous Rice Balls, Vegan Eggplant with Grind Peppers, and Hunan-Style Fried Noodles. There are lots of chili peppers in the dishes, often multiple types, so if you don't like very hot food, be certain to pick out the peppers. There is not a parking lot and street parking is difficult. Due to the number of restaurants, etc. on Solano Ave. & San Pablo, look for parking toward Marin Ave.
Best authentic Hunan Chinese cuisine in Bay Area! You can order standard dishes but the reason for coming is for the perfectly executed spices and chili heat. Our most recent discovery is the whole fish with sliced lamb and veggies tray. A whole fish is covered in sliced lamb and various veggies (enoki mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, celery, crosscut potatoes, cucumber, peanuts, Napa cabbage, and cilantro - I’m probably leaving some out) and a tray of delicious spicy sauce. It’s enough to feed a family. Never had a bad dish.
Came here for a group dinner. Had 8 different dishes: mapo tofu, frog,, squid, glutinous rice balls, beef tendon slices, fried rice, and others. All dishes came out sizzling, bubbling hot. Amazing flavors and spices. Great accommodating service for our group of 16. As for parking, plenty of parking during weeknights.
We got hot and sour soup and honey walnut shrimp as take out to try this place. The food was delicious. We're planning a second trip to eat in with friends. Two of the folks have a really high tolerance for spicy foods, going to see how their "extra spicy" compares to Thai and Indian levels of "extra spicy".
A brand new restaurant, just opened a few weeks ago. An authentic Szechuan restaurant in Berkeley. Not too salty like other Szechuan restaurants in town. There is a free parking lot next to the restaurant, but not many spaces. If you can't find a space there, try street parking. Mapo Tofu is a must-try dish. Service is excellent.
Strong recommend the best of Bay Area restaurants for “Wo Jia Hunan Cuisine”! Looking at the delicious of “Boiled Fish with Chilli”(Live fish yo! Or fish sliced you choose side ). Even the shrimp!!! That was very fresh taste ! oh! I forget the Hunan style lamb BBQ ! That flavor taste like be Arabic or Tukey BBQ Flavors of the Middle East or some where! To be honest! You should come here to trying what a spicy of life style food around with you!
I've been coming here for the last year or two since moving to the area. It's a great spot with authentic northern Chinese flavors. Food is a bit spicier than bay area ppl might be used to but very tasty. Recommended dishes: fried diced chicken "la zi ji", noodle dishes, veggie combo with celery and lily, bead curd pork, string beans, intestine, and duck, fried rice with spare ribs, toothpick beef, Dan Dan noodles, lemonade
Fantastic food and great service! Went on a Friday night and the place was packed. Our favorites were the fried tapioca balls, fried fish and tofu, and green beans. If you enjoy spicy food, you’ll like this place! In terms of Covid, do note that there is no outdoor seating and they were not checking vaccine cards when we went. However, all the waitstaff were wearing masks and most customers had their masks on unless they were eating.
This is one of the best Chinese Restauran in the bay area. We had been to Great China and spent $200-$300 for 4 people. Here you ordered 5 big orders, it costs you only $85! Food is phenomenal! The restaurant is so nice and clean. The service is super fast! We like everything we ordered. I recommend spicy clam and chicken. Hunan Beef is amazing! Food doesn't come with rice so I recommend you order pork fried rice to go with it. (Huge plate that 4 people can share for $12!) The servers told me that staff LOVEs fishes here. So we have to go back. Try to bring a group and share food. It is fun and delicious to share and have a good time together.
This is our new fav Chinese restaurant in the entire Bay Area! We used to drive to Ping’s Bistro in Fremont for good Hunan food. But after discovering Wojia, we’ll never need to drive to Fremont anymore. All the dishes are so flavorful and distinct from each other in terms of the spices that are used. The Hunan Style beef ribs stew is amazing, almost tastes like Korean galbi jjim but much more flavorful and sophisticated. The sauce of the jelly noodles is so unique and tasty. And the duck stew was also super delicious. Their service is also great and really accommodating for parties with small children. Will definitely come back again often.
Im at a loss for words in trying to describe how good some of their dishes are. Ive had good, even great hunan food throughout the US. This is the best I've had. Their various smoked pork dishes are otherworldly. They've become my new comfort food. To put into context just how good they are, I'm not someone who typically craves spicy food. I have a relatively mild palate. Their smoke pork can be a bit spicy, though admittedly it varies from my experience, but I find myself now craving the spice and how it melds with the delicious fatty rich sauce. It is so good!!! The heat helps cut through the heaviness of the rich fat and saltiness and it all comes together beautifully. Then you have the hunan beef. This one is pretty spicy, a few degrees hotter than the smoked pork depending on how hot the pork dish is. Tons of red peppers in this. Again, absolutely amazing. Its just really really good. Not quite at the level of the smoked pork, which is in my top 5 for the entire bay not including ultra fine dining, but it is still easily worth making a trip all the way to sleepy Albany by itself. There are many other great classics, they dont seem to miss and have a rather extensive menu that seems to get updated frequently.
Totally love them, food is delicious and I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants. Staff is helpful and polite. Spice level is mild by Asian standards, but it has a lot of flavor and it's not bland (if you cannot tolerate spicy food at all, you better tell them, because it's still too spicy for people who are not used to spicy food).
Food was great. I feel it is one of the best hunan food around the area despite its VERY SALTY for me. But my friend who loves salty food thought it was acceptable. If you don’t like very salty food like me, please let the chef know and they can add less salt for the dishes.
Although I have to be careful of the spicey, this gem never disappoints. My go to for wonton soup while enjoying something new each time. Always flavorful and fresh.
I really love this place. It’s a Chinese restaurant near my home. The food is flavorful and authentically Hunan-style. My favorite dishes are the Boiled Fish with Pickled (B1) and the Hunan-style Stir-fried Beef – both are incredibly tasty! The portions are generous, and the flavors are bold and satisfying. Highly recommended!
This Hunan Restaurant offers a delicious and satisfying dining experience. The sticky rice pork ribs are tender and flavorful, while the green beans and eggplant are perfectly seasoned and rich in taste. The spicy lamb skewers are also a standout, bursting with bold flavor. Don’t miss the brown sugar ziba — it’s soft, sweet, and aromatic. The restaurant has a clean, traditional atmosphere that adds to the charm. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
Generous portions of delicious Hunan food. Eggplant was excellent. Pork ribs were devine. Very popular with the local, upscale Chinese community and for many good reasons. Lots of unusual items on the menu- frog, etc. We love this place.
The food here is always great — I come here often and the service is Really good. Just noticed this holiday gift card deal and I’ll definitely be picking up a few. It is totally worth it.
Having heard rave reviews about Wojia Hunan Cuisine, my anticipation was high as we ventured into this Berkeley staple. From the moment we started with their Glutinous Rice Balls, it was clear that Wojia was going to surpass every expectation. The rice balls were a delightful introduction, setting the stage for a culinary journey through Hunan cuisine. The Hot & Sour Soup followed, and it was nothing short of incredible. Its balance of flavors was a masterclass in how traditional elements can be executed to perfection. The soup had just the right kick and sourness, making it unforgettable and a must-try for anyone visiting. Our journey continued with the green beans and walnut shrimp, each dish showcasing the chef’s ability to highlight the natural flavors and textures of the ingredients. The green beans were cooked to perfection, maintaining their vibrant color and crispness, while the walnut shrimp was a heavenly mix of crunchy, sweet, and savory—a dish truly “out of this world.” The complimentary tea provided a soothing counterpoint to the rich flavors of the meal, demonstrating Wojia’s attention to detail and commitment to an authentic dining experience. Service was impressively quick, ensuring our meal progressed smoothly without any unnecessary waits. While the ambiance was just okay, lacking some of the flair one might expect, it did nothing to detract from the stellar quality of the food and the efficiency of the service. Wojia Hunan Cuisine is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Hunan in Berkeley. Each dish we tried was a testament to the skill and passion behind the scenes, making it clear why this spot comes so highly recommended. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu, confident that each visit will be as remarkable as the first.
Really decent authentic Chinese Hunan food. Lots of spicy dishes but nothing was that unbearable. All the dishes had a lot of flavor but mostly because of how much oil they used. Could have toned that down a bit. Braised pork and boiled fish were excellent. Overall attentive service and nice open space. Has to be one of the go to Chinese spots around the area.
Tasty and expansive menu offering great Hunan style dishes. This restaurant is close to Berkeley and worth the trek up. The dining area has lots of tables so there usually isn’t a wait though it’s usually fairly busy with guest. This was my second time going so we tried a few new dishes. I am a fan of spicy and numbing foods so everything tasted delicious, but my favorites are always any of the white fish soups (sliced flounder). The tea served with our meal was also quite tasty. Lots of options for everyone so definitely give this place a try!
This was my last meal in the bay after having been here 8 years, and I genuinely mean it when I say this is some of the best Hunan food l've had in the area, if not ever. I wish I had found this place sooner. The prices are more than fair for the portion size, we were a party of four and ordered four dishes + a starter (with rice) and left completely stuffed. The spice is no joke, but it burns in the best way possible. The sliced beef tendon in chili is the most fragrant l've had, and had a kick that I'm not usually used to but absolutely loved. The eggplant and string beans were also a hit, it's basically my two go-to veggie dishes mixed in one. I don't think I've ever had toothpick lamb that I didn't like, and this version was no exception (they saute it with celery that actually pairs really well - coming from someone who avoids celery 95% of them time) My only gripe about what we ordered is that I wish the old school lamb hot pot had a bit more lamb and veggies, there wasn't too much of both to go around. Wish I were still close by, I cannot wait to come back
Best Chinese food I’ve ever had! And I have lived in east coast, mid west and west coast and travelled to >40 countries! No sweet base, just yummy and some really good spicy 🌶 options for spicy food lovers. Not to mention they had multiple meat and seafood options to choose from including lamb and their portions were very generous and shareable. Highly highly recommend this place. Will take as many ppl there as possible- it should be on everyone’s bucket list to have authentic Chinese food! Yum can’t wait to go back. 😋
Wojia is my favorite hunanese restaurant in the Bay area. Will definitely be back again and again. The food is spicy and has good wok hei. Farmers bowl is my favorite with mushroom, jalapenos, pork and egg. The dan dan noodles are nice but skimp a little on the pork. The sauce is delicious tho. The Kung Pao chicken was a tad sweet but still yummy. No cornstarch coating. No deep frying. The water chestnut, broccoli and lilly was nice to cut the spice. The human lamb was soft. The meat is velveted but not coated with starch which I prefer. Same with the Kung Pao chicken. They don't have a parking lot.

delicious food — the whole menu. i get something new every time, every dish is a banger. hunanese friend said it’s not super authentic (they do have a lot of dishes from sichuan/elsewhere in china), but it’s the best in the bay. a bigger group is probably better because the portion sizes are huge, but i’ve also never minded a big haul of leftovers.
Every dish awakens your taste buds. The dishes we ordered were all non-spicy and specially customized by the restaurant, which allowed us to appreciate the flavors even more clearly. We highly recommend it and are very grateful to have such authentically flavored Hunan cuisine in our community.
When someone asks me about authentic Chinese food at affordable prices in this area, Wojia is always the first place that comes to mind. Most of the dishes are great. I especially recommend the lamb skewers and the mapo tofu.

Wojia's food is always delicious. I love the lotus root with chili (without pork) and the eggplant with green beans. The staff is attentive to dietary restrictions. It can sometimes be hard to get their attention when the restaurant is busy. Thus is definitely a favorite spot for authentic, spicy, schezwan food.

Great place to come for spicy food. Any dish on the three-page menu can be ordered at a "spiciness level" of 0 to 3, ranging from none to pretty extreme. Everything was good, except the service was a little slow and it seemed like the people next to us did not get their order correct. Would recommend 毛氏红烧肉 (Chairman Mao's braised pork) and the 外婆家炒湯圓 (Fried rice ball with sweet black sesame filling)
This Chinese restaurant is okay. We tried the duck and the fish & tofu, and they were tasty but pretty spicy. The next day, both me and my partner had some tummy troubles, probably because the spice level was higher than what we're used to. It didn't hurt, though, so maybe it was just the spiciness. The food is good, and we got seated quickly. The duck wasn't my favorite, but it was okay. Overall, it's a good place to try Chinese food in town, just be careful if you're not a fan of too much spice!
The food is spicy and very tasty. The menu is huge and I wish I could try everything. Definitely a hidden gem. Like most tasty Chinese restaurants, service is not good. I had to grab water from the water station as my mouth was burning. I also need to bring my bill to the counter cause the waiter just disappeared. If you only care about food and nothing else, definitely try this place.
12/17/2025* We ordered the Laotan Boiled flounder fillets, toothpick lamb, steamed pork belly with preserved vegetables, and hunan spikcy chicken. Overall, everything tasted pretty decent, the only downside was that the toothpick lamb was a bit dry and the portion was on the small side. 10/19/2023 We are a group of four, and it's become my go-to place for satisfying my spicy cravings. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Toothpick Lamb, Jelly Noodles, Layered Pig Ear, Beef Combination Frog with Golden Soup, and Mongolian Beef. I must start by raving about the Toothpick Lamb – the flavor is absolutely incredible. The only downside is that the portion size is a bit small, but the taste more than makes up for it. The Pig Ear dish also left a positive impression – it's flavorful and quite tasty. However, for those who can't handle too much spiciness, it's essential to take note of the menu's indicated spice levels. My tolerance is relatively high, but some of my family members found themselves sweating while eating, so proceed with caution if you're spice-sensitive. On the other hand, the Mongolian Beef was a real highlight. It was delicious, and I have no complaints about it whatsoever. Unfortunately, the Beef Combination Frog with Golden Soup left something to be desired. The portion of the frog was disappointingly small, and the way it was cut was a bit odd. I ended up mostly eating the joints and bones, which was less than satisfying.
A little overpriced but very delicious food! We tried chive & tofu stir fry, sesame balls (their most famous dish), toothpick lamb stir fry, and lotus root with pork. Only complaint I have about the food is that lotus root with pork literally had two tiny pieces of pork. I'm talking like fingernail tiny lol we were very confused and thought maybe they forgot to put in the meat but the server said that's how it's supposed to be. Everything was very delicious though, and we are definitely planning to go back. Just not gonna order the lotus root dish The sesame balls were so interesting too. We ordered it because it seemed super famous and popular. Honestly, it was kinda weird at first because it's savory and slightly spicy at first but inside is sweet and chewy so it wasn't fully a savory dish nor a dessert dish. But it grew on us as we kept eating it. Definitely give it a try!! I liked that the interior was clean and new. I'm hoping more restaurants like this opens near us!
Food is very spicy! The sesame pancake is awesome. Other items are not bad Service is a bit of lacking. For example, I have all bones filled my plate after having the duck — a good service means someone need to check it out and ask whether I need a new plate or change it proactively. But no, no one give me a new plate ever.

We had seven in our party, call ahead make reservation. To the food was ok. But most of the people in our party liked most of the food. The tofu and beef clay pot was very tasty, lots of flavor, they really should rename the onion pancake, onion bread ( see pics). It was very fresh and I found it delious. The food was nice and hot when they brought it to the table. Over al the food was liked by all most everyone in our party. Most of the food is spicy so make sure to order to your taste especially if you have children.
3.5⭐️ for food. We got 7 things…a favorite was the sauce the pork was in but BEWARE: it probably has MSG in it. If you’re sensitive like me, ask before you order!! I was passed out for 4-5 hours from it😑 The sweet walnut shrimp was good but too much dough. EXCELLENT, satisfying noodles. And we really liked the sesame balls for dessert. They’re 2/3 the size of the normal ones you get at Dim sum, which is great because they’re a bit crunchier and have higher toasted sesame ratio to mochi which we loved!

Very disappointed with the meal : I explain to the head of the room that I do not like spicy dishes and he advises me to choose two dishes ‹Hunan›. I ended up with two inedible dishes : see on the photo the peppers that I removed from my dishes. Impossible to recognize the taste of meat, I ordered lamb, was it really sheep? For the prices a little too expensive, the dishes really lack of presentation, one would think dishes of canteen. Yet half empty, the room is very noisy and it sounds a lot. Only positive point : at your arrival they offer you hot tea!
We placed our order through phone. It was 7 dishes in total. One of that was stir fried beef (小炒黄牛肉) because one of our visitors only eats beef.It was disappointing that when we got home and opened the box. We realized that it was CLEARLY NOT BEEF -- looking at the picture below. For take-out dishes, it is always quite annoying when the dishes ordered do not turn out correctly. Reply to your comments below: I am not here to blackmail you! If I wanted to do so, I can simply call my credit card company and refuse to pay that bill. However I did not do that! Yes, you can of course say it is beef. What I want to say is that 4 of us took a bite of this dish and none of us can agree that it is beef. Looking at the color of the meat (which cut of the beef would look so pale?!) and also the taste (I grew up most eating pork and chicken), I could say 90% it is pork. Does it really matter now? No! It does not! This used to be our favorite place when it comes to Chinese food. When my parents were here, we used to come almost every week. We started visiting this place since it was first open ~ 5/6 years ago and introduced a bunch of our friends here before as well. The reason why I am writing such long reply here is that I am disappointed for the service and your refusal/denial of this mistake and also trying to make me sound like someone who is trying to blackmail you. Yes, you might be able to pay some company and erase this comment/review. I am truly disappointed as a long standing customer! If you visited a beloved restaurant, would you like the owner to say something like what you said in the comment?!
We have heard of this place for a while and decided to try. So disappointed. The food was extremely salty. We ordered 6 dishes. None of them was impressive. Either mediocre or terrible. Dried tofu with chives hardly had any tofu. Lamb was super dry and hard to chew. Service was bad too. The whole place looked depressing. We all had diarrhea the night after dinner!
The Koushui chicken we ordered is smelly. My little son ate two pieces. How can a restaurant sell bad food? I throw away the chicken immediately. The others also taste bad. Too disgusting. No one want to eat them and I had to throw away all of the food.
