Since no one in the Capital Region is selling birria tacos, I am making birria tacos myself at home! I needed some uncommon ingredients that you can't get just anywhere: dried ancho chilies, dried guajillo chilies and Oaxaca cheese. This store, though small, had an excellent selection of dried chilies and other items used in Mexican cuisine. They had everything I needed.

You can find all of the Mexican/Latin American ingredients you could possibly need here. But make sure you do your shopping on an empty stomach and get tacos at the taqueria in the back. These tacos are the best kept secret in albany.

This place is great. Please go here with an open mind. They have some of the best tongue tacos. The portions are always generous. One of my two favorite places to frequent for tacos in albany. Service is always exceptional. Don't expect the red carpet. All the love is in the food.

The food is phenomenal! It's just a little hard ordering because of the language barrier, and because of this have gotten the wrong food. this however was not a bad thing. I was able to try something I wouldn't normally had ordered, and it was delicious. I've been back over 10 times in the last 3 months and was never disappointed with the food.

Grabbed a variety of tacos for my team on inventory night. Over 50 tacos! Chicken, carne asada, al pastor, carnitas. All on corn tortillas, cilantro and onions. 2 salsas and some fresh cucumber!! The food is a hidden gem, inside the market.

Pros: Taste is amazing, portion sizes are generous, and value is decent. They're also available via GrubHub. Cons: Staff never wear masks and are inconsistent answering their phones.

Like a mini Mexican market when you walk in through the door. The taqueria is hidden in the back of the store. You have to make a left once you enter the store and walk to the back. All the tacos are made to order essentially using fresh ingredients. The servers don't speak much English (not a problem for me since I speak Spanish) but they get the job done. Tacos were really good.

The Pollo Burrito was a disappointment from the first bite: the chicken tasted bland and overcooked, the rice was soggy and underseasoned, and the whole assembly lacked the bright, balanced flavors you expect from a good burrito. Chipotle is better

Got food delivered via grub hub. Quantity was not the issue, it was that the food had absolutely no taste except their salsa which is spicy SPICY. There’s is no seasoning and the meat was dry and lacked flavor. If you want to just lite your mouth on fire and chew different flavorless textures, this is the spot for you.
