Mr halal is by far the best place for halal food around! Combo over rice with white sauce, green sauce, and Mr halal sauce is the way to go!

Ate at almost every Halal place in Albany and a lot of carts in NYC. One of if not the best so far. Nice work guys.

I didn't get food here but I delivered their food (GH/PM). All I can tell you is it smells good, looks clean and one of the guys behind the counter was chill. I appreciate that old-school, "make the customer feel welcome" style.

We got the fish over rice and Kabab over rice. They were both very good. Sauces perfectly complemented the rice and protein. Lots of add ons available for free like black olives, green peppers, cucumber, etc. Definitely better that Sammy's on Madison.

We had the chicken gyros. They were scrumptious! My daughter and I both loved them. Some seating would be appreciated. Would happily eat them again when we’re in Albany again.

Just went owner was friendly and offered me this orange semi spicy sauce that I loved over my chicken and lamb over rice, also the platters are 2/3$ less than the one on Madison’s and the food is the same or even better. Will be back soon

The rice plate is amazing! The felafel is some of the best I’ve ever had, really tender, moist but not dense, perfectly seasoned. Same for the chicken: tender, moist, & sensationally seasoned. Everything on the plate is sensational, and works together beautifully. I can’t get over how delicious this is. I grew up eating middle eastern food, have been to many upscale middle eastern restaurants and family kitchens, and this meal blew me away.

Oct 2024: Ordered via UberEats. We were so tired after driving from Vermont at midnight, wanted to have something hot, tasty in the nighttime. This place served us Falafel and Rice (all vegetarian) so tasty with sauces (I guess tamarind and hari chutney)

Love their food, their fish gyro is much better than Shah's. Also, the chili sauce is on another level. Their burgers are yummy too. What is great about them is that their price is a bit less than Shah's. Less Money more food. Win-win.

Felt like having fish over rice and WOW. Breaded and fried upon order, not your run of the mill frozen whiting pieces from Jetro. Very generous portions of fish. It was crispy, not greasy, and so well seasoned. It's great that you get to build your salad to your liking as well. Highly recommend giving the fish over rice a try. It's so underrated!

This place my friend referred me to and it was actually pretty good! It’s a quick in and out spot. I did had to wait 6-10mins b/c previous orders and them making the falafel. They give you a lot of food and my falafel gyro was made with hearty portions (4 free toppings) and it was really tasty!

My children are obsessed with their lamb+chicken combo over rice with salad. It’s really very tasty. Price is so reasonable 😊. We take this food every week and sometimes go over there and order instantly and they deliver within few minutes. I recommend MR. HALAL. 👍👍👍

Solid joint. It’s cheaper then it’s competitors, provides generous meat and is open late at night. Only real “issue” is the lack of consistency. I’ve ordered a few salads from here, all differing in ingredients and quality. Some had white sauce, others had the bare minimum. Some had Jalapeños, others had Hummus. It’s a new restaurant with new employees of course so I’d give them a benefit of the doubt, but some consistency would be nice.

Very mid tier food, obviously for students who have late nights. Chicken over rice was meh, they combo gyro was just ok too. Kabob over rice was literally frozen kababs placed in the fryer for a minute. Everything else, all the sandwiches etc were prefrozen and reheated. Chicken sandwich was literally a chicken patty. Price was fine though, you can try it if you're desperate, but there is better options.

Okay food but terrible service. Went twice now and called ahead of time both times. Each time I get there when they say I should and then it's at least a 20 min wait time after that. Avoid it if your in a hurry. 2.5 stars

They always miss something from my order. I just ordered the fish n chips and they didnt even give me ketchup or tartar sauce even though it says it comes with it on the menue. And they always get me the wrong soda. I'll ask for ginger ale and They'll give me mountain dew or coca cola. The desserts are also not that great. Tres leche is always frozen and the baklava is too tough. This might be the last time i order from them through uner eats.
