Daisy is the best bartender ever. Just such an absolute gem. Go in on a Sunday and you'll have a good time.

Recently visited Susie's for the first time. Enjoyed the atmosphere, the bartender was a delight. And as a bartender myself I can be critical. Had an overall great time, and will definitely be considering Susie's over other options in the future

Sweet bartender kept our glasses full and the people at the bar we're very welcoming and inclusive! Learned about a new band we've never heard of before and we've added it to our California road trip playlist!

If you have ever thought "I'd rather stick a fork in my ear than go to the Lionheart again" then step away from the silverware because there is salvation close by. It's small but the bartender on the night I went was wonderful. The people closest to the jukebox played an unbelievably awesome set of music seemingly focused around the concept of "songs featured in 80s movies" for the first hour we were there. We stuck to the dart board (electronic but do you really want to do math while drinking?) but I spied with my little eye a little box on the bar that may just have had Photo Hunt. Next time, my friend. Anyway you want upstate New York in a bar... go to this one. I can't vouch for everyone but I saw exactly zero people I went to high school with here. Just saying.

Celebrated a very happy event at Susie's tonight. Best bar, bartenders, and clientele that I've ever encountered. Special thanks to the bartender Josh. No doubt I'll be back when I return to Albany.

We had a great night here! Dim lighting with a slight retro vibe, our bartender Lauren was friendly and responsive. This place is definitely a staple watering hole in Albany!

Hands down one of the best secret "hole in the wall" bars. Deceptively drab on the outside. Inside, the bar is dimly lit and cozy. Nice clients, wonderful bartenders. and the owner is just a doll. Moving through the bar you can exit on to the back patio, which is far more spacious. Just a great place to end your night of pub of crawling.

Nice little basement bar with an outside patio in the heart of the Madison and Lark Street area

Nice beers with a chilled atmosphere. Gets a little busy late on the weekends.

Small but diminutive. Dimly lit to hide the squalor. Double check your tabs and credit card receipts.

Total local's saloon, but in an amicable sort of way.

Fun divey atmosphere with some good beers on tap. Dart machine available. Quite good sized back deck open in the warmer months when it's dry out.

I ordered a Manhattan, but they had no cherries. Then we went to the patio and there was a huge exhaust fan making tons of noise.

You should *not* go to this place if you care about customer service and think bartenders should be nice to you

Bad drink... the bartender made our drinks wrong and served it in a dirty glass 😵 yuck

Soon as I hit the door it smelled like poo. Strong odor. I couldn't stay long.

The skinny lady with the dark hair is mean as hell, my Uber was 1 minutes away and she told me “it’s winter it’s not up to us to shelter you while your car / ride comes” 😂😂😂 and the icing on the cake is she works there but wasn’t even on the clock that night or bartending so she was really just there to watch the patrons. Horrible

First + last time I go there. Went during Happy Hour but charged full prices, not given receipt. Wouldn't help me by calling a cab, even tho I was walking w a cane. Had to find taxi svc. blocks away, w sustained injuries. Cost way too much for less than mediocre.

So stopped by for a beer with my friend. She stepped out and the bar tender went out and just took her drink, re en-burst our money (at least that prick did that)and pretty much kicked us out. He could’ve handled it better and differently. We are pretty much weekly customers, and the business just lost 2 of them. Thank you a…hole for your professionalism tjat cost your employer 2 exyra customers. Never stepping in there again
