Opinions de L’industrie Pizza Albee Square
A New York staple that everyone needs to try at least once when visiting. Get in line before opening because this place gets busy fast. Their pizza is classic, cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients. The pesto slice is a standout. Bright green sauce layered over bubbling mozzarella, finished with fresh basil and creamy dollops of ricotta. The crust is thin but sturdy, with that perfect balance of crisp bottom and chewy interior. Definitely want to come back try more
It was our third time in NYC and we had always been pretty disappointed in the pizza there. We decided to give l'industrie a try since we were staying in Brooklyn, and are so glad we did. Our expectations were not high due to the previous sub-par experiences eating pizza in NYC, but this place has changed our minds. We did half Fig Jam & Bacon and half Burrata. The pizza tasted fresh, and the flavours were a great combination (especially the Fig Jam & Bacon). They offer free hot chili oil as a condiment, which really complemented the pizza. There is no seating, but some standing tables if you wanted to eat in the resto. In terms of wait, there was a decent queue even for the Williamsburg location. We waited around 20 minutes in the queue, then another 15 minutes after ordering. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back on future trips to NYC.
Delicious pizza! I’m very happy we got to try. Super thin crust, but not crunchy, which I love. The toppings were delicious as well. Def recommend the fig and bacon, pepperoni, pesto mushroom and the pesto sausage. Get the olive oil cake as well, it was the perfect dessert.
Finally!!!!! I am usually not the biggest fan of American pizza - it is too greasy, too thick, has a little too much going on but wow this was a perfect slice. a burrata pizza is a must. I got also New Yorker and omg it was so so good. The price are higher but so worth it. And they have beer which is a plus. Pizza with a side of Perroni - incredible!
This was a must visit while my daughter and I were in the area. Especially with all the rave reviews and people saying this is the best pizza in all of NY. Is it good?? Hell yeah!! With how popular the place is it does get a little cramped inside (especially on a rainy day), however, there is a constant flow of people coming in and out so you can find a spot to hover over as you ingest these delectable slices. Ordering process is straightforward and quick and once you pay you find a spot and then they bring the slices out to you. We ordered 3 slices even though 2 would suffice however this isnt some place thats convenient for us being on West Coast so had to just walk a little bit more to work it off! All the slices were fantastic in their own way though the Sausage and Pesto was my favorite, followed by the Margherita and then the L'Industrie. I think I would have enjoyed the last slice more but I was getting full. Ingredients are all top notch and I just wish I could try some of their other offerings. Another time perhaps!
My boyfriend has been wanting to try this pizza spot for a while, and when we finally made it to Williamsburg, it felt like the perfect night to go. I went in with no expectations, (my hot take is that most NYC pizza tastes the same) but this place genuinely changed my mind. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and while each slice was unique, they still stayed true to classic New York pizza. I ordered the burrata and white pizza, while my boyfriend went with the classic pepperoni. We added a little of their hot chili oil, which took it to the next level. If someone asked me where to go for pizza, I’d absolutely send them here. I even felt adventurous (I have a serious sweet tooth) and tried the olive oil soft serve—definitely interesting and probably an acquired taste 😅—but overall, the pizza and atmosphere were fantastic.
I jumped in my car and lost the parking I was holding after the storm, drove across town to grab this pizza and I’m not even mad. The pizza is crisp and flavorful. The staff is really friendly. I wanted to try something different so I ordered the fig jam and bacon…i didn’t think it would be good and I was correct, because it’s AMAZING!! The New Yorker and their regular slice was very good! I will return and try more!!! Give m a heart if you also enjoyed this place.
Stopped by L’Industrie Pizzeria in Williamsburg after hearing so much hype about it. The pizza was good overall. I tried the Burrata slice the flavor was nice, but it wasn’t as creamy as I was expecting. One issue was that the slice was made too large for the box, so it came folded, which took away from the presentation and texture a bit. The pizza itself was solid, just expected a little more considering how popular this place is. All in all, it was decent and worth trying at least once.
Small place and incredibly crowded but that’s usually a good sign. Despite lots of people, I still got my pizza in about 10 min. Fresh, never in a warmer. Crust was light and crisp and the cheese was salty with a slight tang. One of, if not the best NYC “slice shops”.
This pizza is mind blowing and encompasses everything you want in a classic New York style slice. Crispy bottom that holds up when it’s held in one hand and doesn’t flop over, tasty toppings that are carefully crafted on each slice, and a crispy, delicious dough that’s so good you’ll want to eat every bite of crust. We tried the pesto and sausage and the l’Industrie slices. Both were fantastic. The vibe is great in here—fast casual with good music and nice staff. A must get is the gelato soft serve. We got pistachio with olive oil drizzle and sea salt. Probably the best gelato I’ve ever had, including Italy (and I’ve been to Italy many, many times).
The best I’ve had in the city. It was my favourite dough in the city, perfectly fluffy and crunchy. Not so much crunch that it was a cracker but enough to give some mouth-feel, not so doughy that I kept chewing. The dough was everything I love about Neapolitan and American pizza in one.
One of the best pizzas I’ve had in New York! We tried a slice each of the Fig Jam & Bacon (a touch on the sweeter side, but really good), the New Yorker, and the Burrata — the Burrata was by far the best, followed by the Fig Jam & Bacon. It was pretty packed on a Sunday night, and we had to wait a bit to find a spot to eat. They don’t have any seats, so it’s more of a grab-and-go place, but the service was efficient and the pizzas were fresh. Will definitely come back to try more from the menu.
I don't say this lightly, as I am a very (unofficially in any way) serious critic for so-called "Best NYC Pizza", but L'Industrie is legitimately a serious contender for that title!! The line is long, yes, but they honestly keep it moving so efficiently and rapidly when you consider the popularity of this location. And then when you order, everyone is so friendly and accommodating - which I especially appreciate from a place with so much notoriety - which from the quality of their product, I definitely feel is totally warranted! Each pizza we tried here was absolutely DELICIOUS! The L'industrie staple and the Burrata pizza were my personal favorites, but I honestly felt they hit the mark with everything. I really don't say this lightly, as I have previously criticized 'Mama's Too!', and feel they are rather overrated. L'industrie Pizzeria, on the other hand, most certainly is NOT, and I highly recommend! One more thing - despite the crowds, it's honestly such a spacious dining area to spread out in - perhaps just give it some time, but it almost always clears out with a bit of time (from my experience)!
L’Industrie absolutely lives up to the hype. The crust is light, airy, and perfectly blistered with just the right chew, while the sauce is bright and balanced—not overly sweet. Every slice feels thoughtfully made, from the classic Margherita with fresh basil to the richer toppings like burrata and pepperoni that add real depth without overwhelming the pizza. Even when it’s busy, the quality stays consistent, and the slices come out hot and fresh. Easily one of the best spots for authentic, no-nonsense pizza that still feels special, and well worth the wait.
Is the hype real…? Short answer… Yeah! Guess we got lucky going in on a cold ass night cause there was no line and plenty of room to grab a spot to stand and eat a slice! This pizzeria has been on the bucket list for a minute and I’m glad I was able to make the trip out to grab a slice! I don’t remember the names of the slices… but they were fantastic! I love pesto and on pizza that’s this killer it was an amazing experience! But I’m here to rate the cheese slice baby! 8.9 Amazing, would definitely be back and would eat it drunk in bed every time!
Absolutely worth the trip from Baltimore! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I came all the way from Baltimore specifically to try this spot, and it did not disappoint. The burrata pizza was phenomenal—creamy, fresh, and perfectly balanced—and the Margherita pizza was classic, simple, and executed flawlessly. Every bite reminded me why great pizza doesn’t need to be complicated. On top of the amazing food, the service truly stood out. Wendy, one of their incredible team members, went above and beyond and even let us try the Neapolitan dessert—which was the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. She was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely made the experience memorable. Wendy absolutely deserves a raise and a promotion. Between the quality of the food and the outstanding service, this place is a must-visit. I’d gladly make the drive again without hesitation. @Wendy hmu on Ig @godsworkinprogress234
Probably my favorite slice in NYC so far. Had the burrata slice and a Pesto sausage special. Crust is very good. Crispy on the bottom and thin but with a nice chew. Flavorful. Ingredients and toppings were all high quality. Pricey for a slice of pizza but in this case, it’s worth it! Visited on a Thursday around 4:30pm and no line/no wait.
Just had the best pizza experience in Brooklyn, and it's no wonder L'Industrie is topping everyone's lists—it's the best for a reason! Tucked away in the heart of Williamsburg, this spot nails that perfect balance of no-fuss vibe and top-tier quality. I grabbed a classic cheese slice and the mushroom one, and holy cow, the crust is insanely crisp and thin without being floppy, with that ideal char that screams "made with love." The sauce has this rich, tangy kick that pairs perfectly with the gooey, high-quality cheese—none of that rubbery nonsense you get elsewhere. What sets it apart? It's not just the pizza; the whole setup feels effortless. Minimalist counter, friendly crew slinging slices like pros, and that fresh basil on top? Chef's kiss. I scarfed down two slices and was already plotting my next visit with friends—maybe the pepperoni or sausage next time. If you're in Williamsburg craving pizza that actually lives up to the hype, skip the lines at the tourist traps and head here. Hands down, one of my new favorites alongside spots like Martha's for that reliable quality hit. 10/10, would recommend to anyone who takes their slices seriously! 🍕
On a Saturday evening, worth the wait. The line goes fast because the staff are super efficient. Got a slice of the cheese pie and for fun, a slice of the bacon & fig jam. The cheese slice was delicious, great char, cheese/sauce ratio and flavor….now the bacon and fig jam was soooo delicious (salty & sweet—>perfect balance). It’s gets crowded as it’s a super popular spot, if you find a spot inside along the windows, snag it). Next time would love to try the burrata slice.
We visited on a Sunday and arrived about 10 minutes before they opened at noon. We got in line, and it moved quickly — we ordered, ate, and were out in about 30ish minutes total. When we left, the line wasn’t bad, so I wouldn’t let the line intimidate you! We ordered the margherita, burrata, pepperoni, sausage pesto, and the New Yorker. My favorite was the pepperoni, especially with the hot honey dipping sauce.
We ordered the New Yorker pizza, and it did not disappoint. There’s usually a lineup, but our wait was only about 15 minutes. The pizza was absolutely delicious and easily one of the best in the city. The staff were friendly, the service was excellent, and the price was reasonable at $38 for the whole pie.
I took a bite and it was so good that I got back in the long line to buy another one. But soon you came over and said, “Are you guys buying again? You don’t need to wait in line twice,” and helped us out. And that’s when I met the best fig jam ever. (I won’t say too much in case it causes any trouble for your shop—but I’m sure you know what I mean 😉) We felt like we received such a big gift that day. Your warm kindness made us fall even more in love with New York. Thank you so much. You’re truly the best pizza—and it was one of the best moments ever. 💛 A hundred stars!
This is possibly the most hyped pizza spot in a city that's known for pizza, so I had to make my way over here to this Brooklyn spot. The line was present, but not too long - about 15-20 minutes or so I got the Burrata slice, which is just a basic cheese pizza, with some burrata on top If I had one word to describe this slice - it would be light. It was so thin, and so easy to eat. There wasn't an excess of anything - cheese, sauce, or thickness. The dough was probably my favorite part. The air bubbles near the top showed how well-fermented the dough was. It was very airy and fluffy overall. The only downside was I thought the bottom could've been cooked a bit more - it was missing that cracker-like crunch associated with other NY pizzas. While still cooked well - there was a good char on the bottom, better than most places, it wasn't quite at that absolute top level The mix of cheese & sauce over the top was very high quality. Like mentioned before, there wasn't a lot of it. I think I prefer a pizza with more cheese as it's a little bit plain for me, but the fundamental aspects of each ingredient are fantastic. I thought the cornicone on the outside was also very good The burrata topping was very nice, and probably the highlight for me. It's not something you see at most classic pizza places, and it added a super creamy nature to the sections where it was present This pizza cost me around $7, so it's on the slightly more expensive side when compared to a typical slice. I would say it's enough for a light meal, but don't expect it to keep you full for long. Overall, I think this pizza is excellent, and one of the best individual slices I've had. The artisan style is impressive, but if given the choice, I think I'd stick to the more classic NY-style variety. 9/10
In my NYC Summer 2025 Pizza Top 5 list, there's a shared second place. One goes to L'Industrie Pizzeria in Williamsburg. This is what I imagine a NYC pizza to be. The crust is a bit crispy, but not too crispy, not too little—just right. The dough is perfectly thin. The tomato sauce is fantastic. The cheese is subtle and not overpowering, and most importantly, there's no dripping grease on the pizza (unfortunately, like with many other NYC pizzas). Be prepared for standing outside for about 20 minutes (in NYC, the waiting line duration is always 20 minutes, no matter where or what you're on line for). The staff is treating you with the typical NYC roughness but everyone is still friendly. Don’t forget: Ya‘ll always get a smile back when you smile first! Around the shop, with a few standing tables—you usually get the pizza to go—you can still find the original, not-yet-quite-gentrified Williamsburg. But don't worry, everything is still harmless here. Highly recommended.
This is it! The hype is real! This is the most delicious pizza I’ve ever had. Lots of flavor from the grana padano, the sauce was deep and tangy, basil was fresh and beautiful. Crust was perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of chew. It’s worth the wait. On my trip I also tried best pizza, John’s of bleecker, Angelo’s, and I liked this the best by far. Service is impeccable as well.
One of the best pizza places I've been too and a top contender in NYC. The staff was ridiculously friendly, the slices were huge and amazing, and the wait time (despite the long line) was not a big deal. This is a must stop for any traveler visiting Brooklyn or a local looking for the best place. Can't say enough great things about this place.

The best pizza we ever had in this country, period! Seriously recommended Burrata and Fig Jam and bacon, but you cannot go wrong with any of their toppings.
Very good pizzas with quality ingredients and great flavor combinations. The crust is well made and the portions are satisfying. The place has a nice atmosphere and feels lively, making it a good spot to dine in. However, the main downside is the waiting time — service can be quite slow during busy hours. Overall, a very good experience, just be prepared to wait a bit.
L’Industrie Pizza — Burrata Slice Review Busy for a Thursday, but for good reason. I ordered the burrata slice and the presentation was excellent. Overall, it was a very good slice — 7.9/10. The crust had a nice crisp, though it could’ve used a bit more time in the oven. Slightly greasy, but not enough to detract from the experience. Still well-balanced and enjoyable. The atmosphere was my main downside: standing-room only and very crowded. Elbow-to-elbow dining made it feel a bit chaotic and had me feeling antsy. That said, I appreciated the small details — like the canned water branded with L’Industrie, which was a nice touch. If I return, I’d skip the single slice and go straight for one of their artisan pies with more toppings. While it wasn’t the best slice I had that day, it absolutely held its own on a full Brooklyn pizza walking tour. I’d definitely recommend it. Scorecard 🍕 Slice: 7.9/10 🔥 Crust: Crisp, could be more done 🧀 Toppings: High quality, well-presented 🏙 Atmosphere: Crowded, standing only 💧 Details: Branded canned water = nice touch
Overall the pizza is nice and probably one of the best spots to try New York style pizza. To me the flavours were not as prominent and the price/quality ratio was a bit low. This place often has a large queue and the staff is not able to cope with the demand even they all work hard. Sausage pesto pizza didn’t have as much sausage but it surely had the spots of cream cheese that they put on most of their pizzas. I wish the baked cheese had a more prominent flavour. The dough structure and crunch was really great though. The New Yorker pizza was nice but the flavour was very straightforward of course. Overall if you want to try the New York style pizza then I do recommend this place. Not sure I want to be back and try it second time though

L’industrie Pizza: Albee Square's Slice of Heaven (Even When It's Freezing)
Alright, let's talk pizza. Because sometimes, you stumble upon a spot that just gets it right, and that’s exactly what you’ll find down in Albee Square at L’industrie Pizza. This isn't your sit-down, white-tablecloth Italian joint; it's a no-frills, grab-a-slice-and-go kind of place, but what it delivers in flavor is truly off the charts.People are absolutely raving about the slices here, and for good reason. The standout that keeps coming up? Their Bacon and Fig Jam slice. Seriously, if you'...
