Large German restaurant with nice setting and lively ambience. Both the indoor and patio area were spacious and beautifully decorated. Loreley offers an interesting array of menu items, that you won't find at your more typical brunch spot. I had the schnitzel & eggs and the avocado toast, and the strawberry frosé to drink. Both dishes were very delicious and tasty. The schnitzel was a great combination of sweet and savory, and had a unique flavor profile.
Can’t believe I didn’t know about this place until now! It’s a cute, trendy take on German beer garden. Has a great selection of beers, a pink flower wall in the backyard seating area, and amazing German food! Was pretty busy for a Wednesday night so imagine the weekend gets even more crowded! Definitely a place to check out
Such a cute little place! The drinks are so cute and tastes good too! Love the atmosphere, decor, and ambiance. The food was good too! Will be going again!
This was a cute little place in Brooklyn. Great vibe for just drinks or to grab a bite to eat. I had the Loreley Burger on this trip it was delicious. It offers outdoor and indoor seating. It was packed wall to wall the entire time my party and I were there. I will definitely be back to try some of the German options on the menu!
I had the cutest, coziest, sweetest experience at The Loreley! I had been wanting to go here since I got these targeted Instagram ads for some place cute in the city with a wintery aesthetic and pretty lights. The space is beautiful whether you sit inside or outside but my friends and I picked outside because the flower wall and lights. The outdoor heaters were perfect and you almost forget it is as cold as it is outside of the Loreley. Perfect temperature to still sit outside. The garden outside was toasty and the seats were adorned with a fluffy snow looking cushion- like you’re sitting on snow. Made me feel like a cute little bunny having my drink and my burger. I agree with their description- one of the best burgers the city has to offer! The fries were perfect too. My hot cider was really good too. Adam was the best server we could’ve possibly had that night- he has a kind, radiant energy and even after we were full he gave us a sample of the hot chocolate so we wouldn’t leave without having tried it! He is true sunshine. I am definitely going to come back!
So I have come here twice within the past month. The first time all of the fall decorations were up and then when I got there for my party, all of the Christmas decor was up. Made my heart super happy. I came for my birthday and we so much fun. Threw on the music, dance a little, ordered food and drinks. It was great and would definitely recommend.
So glad we found this place while trying to navigate Manhattan. The food is SO GOOD and the staff were all very friendly. We stopped here for lunch on our first day in the city and we had to go again for dinner on our last day because it was that delicious.
Went here after work for their holiday pop up! It was really cute with the decorations and themed drinks. I discovered the spot on instagram and was instantly pulled in by their photographed black&white spiked hot chocolate and spiked eggnog. I’m a HUGE eggnog fan and that was my absolute favorite drink there. The b&w hot chocolate wasn’t exactly as I imagined but I would still rate it a good drink to get. My friend ordered the spiked cider, mulled wine, and peppermint espresso martini. Of course, I had to try those as well! The spiked cider was great as I already would’ve imagined. It was my first time trying mulled wine and absolutely loved it! I’m a huge espresso martini person but the peppermint wasn’t my personal favorite. The guac and chips were phenomenal - don’t skip this! Overall, Loreley’s was a cool spot and I plan to go back to check out their regular menu. Thank you for the great time!
If I could give this place more stars, I would. This place was decorated beautifully for the holidays, including the heated outdoor patio. More importantly, the staff was so very welcoming and friendly, especially our waiter, Gunter. He went above and beyond with his service which truly made our experience amazing! Not only was he a great waiter, he was also attentive, informative, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor! Having him as a waiter was a great experience and it is because of him that this was definitely not my last time here. The food was great and they had a wide variety of things including tacos, burgers, salads, and of course, German dishes. I definitely recommend this place for the atmosphere, service and food.
We went here as a group of 12 which also had kids, and while we kept our kids noise levels low our group was all over the place occupying 3 different tables. Thankfully, the place wasn't super busy on a hot Saturday afternoon, and the staff was very kind and accommodative with our chaos! We went here for the beers, of course, but to my surprise, the food here was excellent too. I got the Kale Caesar Salad ($19) which came with a very nice dressing (pre-tossed) and was very tasty. For beers, we stuck to a lager (Spaten) which was very refreshing. They also had a local IPA which was just okay. Noise levels in the inside seating area was on the higher end, but outdoor seating noise level was average. Service was absolutely excellent, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely visit again, as a small group to enjoy their beers!

Went on two occasions with friends and definitely loved it! We needed to make reservations to ensure seating, although when I went on st Patrick's day you didn't get to pick the area to be seated in, inside or outside. On the outside seating which I did before, you don't hear the music that is played inside. They also have heaters which is great. The drinks are pricey, but good! Loved the strawberry froze. Food was great too! Enjoyed my experience both times when I went!
Our waiter Jakob was absolutely awesome!!! I had the pumpkin beer and my friend the pumpkin sangria. We had so much fun with him that we decided to order more drinks so we can stay around! And the beer garden is beautiful. Will definitely be coming back
The autumn/fall decoration was good, the drinks were delicious and the food was great, the only thing is that if you have a big appetite don't order the sirloin because the steak is very small and pricey but it's delicious. There are good promotions everyday (at least for this season, idk the rest of the year). For 2 people ordering food and drinks you can spend more than $200 (that was my case) but of course you can see the affordable options from the menu, not everything is expensive.
The meal I had ranks among my all-time favorites. Staff members are consistently pleasant with no negativity. They offer fresh ingredients, delicious spice blends, reasonable pricing, and kind service. You get a fair amount of food here. I endorse their menu and service.
i was there last season but haven't forgotten those flavors. Their food demonstrates proper restraint, with excellent texture and innovative approaches. Employees provided perfectly timed service. Despite its small size and lunch demand, this place maintains food and service standards. Every element of my visit was excellent.
The Party Room / Lounge at Loreley was the perfect place for me to get my friends together for my birthday! Laura was so wonderful to coordinate things with, and the day-of staff were really attentive to our needs. The buffalo wings, giant pretzels, fries, and mini cupcakes were great to share, and I loved the additional flexibility of guests being able to get anything beyond that for themselves. The space was great - nicely decorated and easy to navigate and sync music too. It was so much fun and would highly recommend to anyone looking into hosting an event for a big group!
This weekend my family came up to visit and we walked to the Loreley beer garden. Definitely get a pitcher of beer to share as well as a bunch of different apps. We ordered the wings, nachos, pretzel garlic knots, and burger sliders. Everything was extremely delicious and it was a nice way to spend the afternoon in NYC!
My wife and I had a great dinner and drinks here. Tony behind the bar was super nice, the space is casual and very comfortable and the outdoor deck was heated very well on the cold April night we were there. We had a simple meal, chicken wings (not breaded!) and the kale salad, both were delicious. We don't drink much beer, but the wine list was excellent. Go!
We had a happy hour for ~20 people at Loreley, and the staff was amazing! Incredibly attentive to all of our needs, and very accommodating of our asks. The venue itself is great - they were decked out with Halloween decorations and had a large outdoor area covered with festive lights. Would definitely recommend for large group gatherings - they will take great care of you :)
I've been here a few times and had great experiences. Last night I stopped in and got a pretzel and a drink with my partner, and absolutely loved the little autumnal vibe and the delicious treats! Our server's name was Parker, if I'm not mistaken, and they were great too!
I've been here twice. Once with friends during the holidays and once solo for thwir hot cocoa. On both occasions Loreley was a great vibe, no wait, the waitresses were always nice even took our photos for us. Outside is usually crowded dur to the decor and atmosphere, but inside is cozy too. My most recent visit the waitress recommended The Chorizo & Egg Skillet, 🥘 which was really good but it was alot had to take most of it home..but it looked just like the photos and was very good. 🥘 The winter wonderland theme is beautiful ❄️⛄️❄️ As was the Christmas theme when I first visited with my friends. Favorite thing was definitely their hot cocoa which is why I went back. One of the best hot cocoa I've had ☕🍶☕️
Always a treat with good food, inspired drinks, and beautiful decor. It’s a roomy place and a beautiful outdoor area.
This restaurant popped up as a recommendation by a page I follow on Facebook/Instagram (thebrunchguy_), and I decided to come here to close out my birthday weekend. On the way to Loreley I browsed through the neighborhood art galleries. The restaurant is so cute. I really liked the decor and the food and drinks were amazing. Great service as well. I’m glad I took a chance and came here!
Came here on the last day of their Christmas theme. I'll definitely be back next year, or earlier. Great atmosphere. Food was spectacular. Nice variety of drinks.
Great place definitely going back for the beer garden and overall atmosphere but service was subpar. Sat us early before our reservation but server brought my wife’s dish out 20 minutes before the other plates. It’s bar food not fancy but great menu. Beer selection was good. Went out there no outside bar in winter hoping to come back in the summer. Worth a visit, preferably when less crowded.
Our favorite bar in the city! We choose the hotel next door to stay just so we can be close. AMAZING ambiance, food, and customer service. 10/10 we love the pumpkin beer and specials. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything Laura, you make this establishment a top notch place to visit! Loreley is part of our New York tradition:)
Loreley was an incredible experience! The decor was spot on and really sets the fall mood. The menu is excellent as well, all the food and drinks were delicious and not citchy pumpkin themed but balanced and thoughtful. And if you’re lucky you’ll get Jakob as a server who is perfectly attentive, informative, and engaging. I’d highly recommend this place any time of year and definitely during Oktoberfest season
Great beer garden tucked in the LES with an immaculate happy hour. The tap selection gives you a little bit of everything, and their cocktail menu is even more expansive, with an emphasis on margs! For food, I ordered the schnitzel fingers and fries - both were divine. Great outdoor + indoor ambience and kind wait staff = a new returning customer.
Went on a Sunday afternoon and had a fantastic time! The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Gaby was our server and she was amazing. She took care of our food and drinks and was always around when we needed something. The food was great and the beer was nice and cold! I love the German selections personally so it was exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be back again!
Amazing Experience at Loreley Beer Garden! I had an incredible time at Loreley Beer Garden! The food was absolutely delicious—our sliders were incredibly juicy and came with small potato fries that were new to me but so tasty. We also had the fried chicken schnitzel with fries and more, and everything was cooked to perfection. The drinks were strong and worth every penny! I struggled a bit with my frozen espresso martini, but it was still delicious and a fun twist on a classic. The atmosphere was lively, the service was great, and I will definitely be back for more! Highly recommend!

This bar restaurant is amazing!!! I love visiting in each season because it always has great decorations. The food is delicious and the service is excellent
We Went for brunch on a Friday & drinks wasn’t as strong, food took a while to come out & it wasn’t a lot of people there. We sat in the patio outside in the back & We wished there were some music playing. Great decor & location. Definitely would go back for dinner maybe. My friends had the burger from the brunch menu & it was good
Foods decent, but a bit pricy. Great beer though. The southern tier pumpkin was very tasty , and a good place to hang out for Oktoberfest
Pleasantly surprised! I took a few out-of-towners here for the holiday themed experience. Not expecting much as far as food/drink quality. But WOW! Everyone’s food was absolutely delicious (mouth watering French onion soup and potato pancake for me) and our drinks were equally impressive. My hot toddy was one of the best I’ve ever had and my companions raved about their boozy hot chocolate. The hefty alcohol content makes up for the price tag. As others have mentioned, getting your food takes a while and eats into your 1.5 hour reservation limit and our assigned corner lacked the luscious holiday decor in other parts of the restaurant.
Drinks are bit pricey but it’s NY I get it . The frose was really good. We had the chicken nachos which were decent. The fried ice cream for dessert was a great way to end the night. (Update) My third visit today was great stopped by for some drinks, smaller crowd at this time around which was great
Great classic pub feel. Food was decent. Nothing amazing. However, they really do it up for Christmas. And the server was great.
A cute spot and good eats. We had a table outside and the weather was glorious. The strawberry pecan salad was delish and hit the spot. The service was cordial and inviting. I was rather surprised that the restaurant was cooled well despite the doors were opened into the garden. Note: you do have to prove your age before entering. The cheesecake was a tasty birthday treat. More 🍓🍓
BAR REVIEW ONLY. Came here Sunday evening for a drink and to check out their holiday decor—it was really pretty! There’s tons of Christmas decoration throughout the bar. My friend and I each ordered a drink—Strawberry Frosé ($20) and Peppermint Nitro Martini ($22)—a bit expensive for drinks that weren’t really that good. The place is definitely photo worthy and great for pictures.
The overall vibe of the place was pretty on par for Oktoberfest. There was this really neat pumpkin beer that you could drink straight out of a pumpkin, which is kind of gimmicky, but it was pretty cool. There is an inside and an outside garden. It was really busy but despite that the service was pretty good.
I went there during their rose festival and I admit the decor is very nice and instagrammable. We sat outside, not in the rose garden, and I thought it was still nice. I got the pretty in pink martini and it was okay. Didn't taste as good as I expected. My husband got a draft beer and he seemed to enjoy it. We also got the guacamole and chips. I was nicely surprised by the guacamole, it was actually fresh, and well seasoned. I also liked the chips, they were crispy and the right amount of salty. The service was average. Even though they were really busy, someone was there to check in on us but just not as frequently. At some point, when the night got busier, our service got worse and I know we would've ordered more drinks and food if someone was checking in on us more often. Note: In the bar area, the floors are sticky and it feels like a dingy bar but if you're outside or in the garden it's really nice. Instagram Handle: @TheShahLALand
This place wasn’t the best brunch I’ve ever had but it was still pretty good! The outdoor patio is decorated really nicely for autumn and their oktoberfest / autumnal brews were tasty! I’d say to try their side of potato salad as that was the highlight of my meal. Also big pretzel is great for sharing ! My friend liked the potato soup.
Well-decorated/themed bar for Halloween! Really cozy and nice bar staff. We didn't get a chance to go to the beer garten, they didn't say why, the hosts just kind of shooed us to the bar but that's fine. Nitro cold brew martini was great and my fiance enjoyed his Pilsner. The german beer in stein is great. Good crowd, did not try any food just a quick stop and it was fine for that!
My husband and I had a lovely date night at Loreley. We spilt the bratwurst entree, which we both enjoyed. I tried the Oreo espresso martini, which was delicious and my husband had a few different beers. The atmosphere was very cozy and wintery with the white floral decor and blankets provided to use in the outdoor dining area. The service was great and we are looking forward to returning in the near future.
Really fun venue themed as a German beer hall. They have it seasonally decorated for Christmas, wall to wall. The wait was a little long but there is some room at the bar. We got the sausage sandwich, big pretzel, and french onion soup. All pretty good, but the best part was the reel of kolsch beers. 12 mini cups of beer served all at once.
I visited for a night out with my girlfriends. Service is good, but to order anything you have to go to the bar. A bit odd being the bar can get crowded. First round, we order the pumpkin espresso martinis which were good. We then ordered a bottle of wine for the table. It was semi- sweet. We shared the pretzel, tasted like an ordinary pretzel. The wings were good, we ordered Buffalo. I ordered the chicken sandwich. The chicken was a bit dry but the ketchup made it a bit better. Think it's better to go for drinks and appetizers.
I especially love that Loreley has both outdoor, indoor, and a back patio seating, each of which has a different vibe. It’s known for its over the top decorations for each season and speciality seasonal cocktails like the peppermint nitro martini and black and white hot chocolate. I went here for dinner and loved the chicken schnitzel sandwich and the soft baked German pretzels. I would recommend going here with a group of friends rather than a dinner date, as it is a buzzy, lively place rather than intimate. I’m looking forward to sipping a beer on the back patio in the spring and checking out the freshly baked cinnamon rolls for brunch! Secret Tip: You can add on a note to your Resy to preference where you want to sit!
Been here many times, esp during Fall to grab pumpkin beer (you can get a pitcher that comes in an actual pumpkin which is cute). This time, went for drinks after work with coworkers and sat in the back (heaters were on). I got the KCBC hazy IPA, the large size (1 liter). There were only two size options, one being $11 and the other being $24. Others also ordered beers and cocktails. We grabbed a few appetizers to share like the giant pretzel and nachos. Also ordered individual entrees. I got the chicken schnitzel entree. The chicken wasn’t that crispy and was bland but the fries and coleslaw were good. Recommend sticking with their bratwurst instead. Definitely a good bar to grab few beers and chill!
Food & drinks: 4 Staff: 5 Environment: 5 Interesting German inspired beer garden in lower Manhattan! The sausages and drinks were great, though pricy. The staff was super friendly and they had great interior and exterior decor! They have dividers outdoors to separate different parties for Covid safety, though I think more heaters can be added since it can get pretty cold and the food and drinks cool just as quickly.
We had a reservation for 6 people at 12. Got there at 12, there was no one there and we were put at a small round table that could not even fit six people. I asked if we could sit outside in the beer garden but was told it wasn’t warm enough. Then we asked if we could sit at a different table that the round one could not fit six people - they did move us to a longer table that was right next to the door to outside. It seemed like we were getting the worst table options for being the first ones there. And right when we sat there were plenty of people heading outside to sit so confused as to why we couldn’t sit outside. The service was not good, very slow, did not clear the table of plates and glasses, did not check on us, at one point we went to the bar to order a round of drinks. The food was good, what you would expect from this kind of place. The atmosphere was festive, which is what we were looking for. The choice of festive drinks was very nice. Overall I would go back for the festive atmosphere. We did not mind the slow service because we were in no rush.
Loreley Beer Garden has a great ambiance, but the experience was a mix. The garlic shrimp and beef skewers appetizers were excellent, though the entrées were disappointing. The beer was good, but the Christmas drinks were overpriced and underwhelming. Service was average and could be better. Overall, a decent spot, but with room for improvement.
A fun night in a LES beer garden. We sat outside in the back, really the only place to be, and not gonna lie, people were getting hammered on the FABULOUS pumpkin ale (served out of a real pumpkin!) so it got pretty loud with the yelling and laughter bouncing off the walls. But everyone was having a good time! The three-warm-pretzels appetizer was delicious, best pretzels in a German resto that I've had in NY. Portions were large, food overall was very good, the waitress was professional and nice, we would definitely go back. A great place to bring out- of-town visitors!

Ok place. The bathrooms are tiny and gross. Had to wipe down toliet before could sit down. Very loud, even inside. Spaetzle very good. Mashed potoatoes creamy. Brats ok. Not the best I have ever had. Jacguersnitzl ok. Kind of over done. Too crunchy. Potato pancake way over done.
I have been to loreley beer garden a few times now. It is a nicely decorated place and they change their decor according to the season, which is pretty cool. We went for a friend’s birthday once. This was around dinner time and our friend is vegetarian so it was probably bad choice because they don’t have much to offer for vegetarians. The service was very slow that day and the wait staff didn’t come to ask for our order until most of us were ready to leave for another place. This was in early November weeknight so it wasn’t their busiest season. We did give it another chance and went to get hot chocolate on Christmas Eve. Although I was happy that some place was open on Christmas Eve and kudos to the staff for working that night. However, I didn’t really like the spiked hot chocolate as much. It was lukewarm and since it was quite cold outside, I was hoping for something a little more warm when I excitedly went for the hot chocolate. It also didn’t have a candy cane like I saw in other’s pictures. We also got the pretzel which was also fine.
Visiting NY, seven of us went to Loreley German restaurant for lunch. Four of us ordered steak from the menu. Quality of the steak was poor and tough. We didn't complain, it was a bad experience 😟
Right by our hotel so we stopped for a drink. It’s a decent bar / pub but quite average. Friendly and knowledgeable bar tender. However prices are ridiculously high considering it’s not a fancy cocktail bar. We paid $39 for a single bourbon on the rocks and a tequila and tonic. Crazy
I misunderstood their rosé special, it’s not really a significant discount. The drinks are good but not inexpensive. A few of my friends didn’t like their drinks. The seating was weird, my reservation said outdoor beer garden. The host wouldn’t seat us there and said that to sit outside we would have had to have made a special arrangement with the manager and that it cost more. What? I asked what the price was to sit outside and she said she didn’t know and wandered away. Sounds like she was lying or if it was a policy it should be clearly listed when you’re making your reservation. The food was fine, I had to send back the breakfast sliders. Not only did they look unappealing, but I’d asked for crispy bacon, and they’d failed to make it crisp. The omelette was good and they replaced the ham with chorizo for me. The server was very nice and accommodating but seemed a little confused. This was interesting to visit, but I wouldn’t return for brunch again.
Food was mediocre. Drinks were pretty but okay. Service was kinda wack. After the inital sitting down they didn't check on you or refill your water. We had to ask for napkins. We had to flag someone down everytime. They were friendly though. They brought the food out a different times, instead of together. They forgot one of our orders then gave us a free shot because of it.
This place is GREAT for hanging out with friends and getting a fun, Instagrammable drink, but it is a bit pricey at times. You are definitely paying for the atmosphere more than the food, but the food is also not bad. It’s just good. Festive drinks are an added plus, like the boozy hot cocoa I got. The heated outdoor garden is extremely well heated, I didn’t need to wear a jacket in the 30s which is awesome. Overall a fun time, but don’t expect the best meal of your life.
What a spot!!! Such a beautiful restaurant, definitely brunch vibes. We went on a Sunday and the hostess got us a table! On a Brunch day!!! Food was great but the service is non existent. Our server took our order and we didn’t see him again until he dropped the check, he definitely missed on at least 6 drinks that we couldn’t order because he didn’t ask. Also, when I asked for a Woodchuck he was like… a what?!? At least know what you’re selling. I’d highly suggest to make a reservation. We’re definitely coming back because the food was great!!
came here recently in hopes of a festive dinner date with a close friend, i hadn't been before but found it on a website listing all of the popular festive / holiday spots with great decor. i made a reservation for 5pm on their website and showed up promptly, only to be lead to the back outdoor area when the entire restaurant and indoor dining areas were essentially empty. it was just two of us but they sat us at a long picnic table under a tent (it was rainy and wet). they didn't have a coat rack so I had to keep my bag and coat on my lap the entire time we dined. the drink options were definitely cute for a photo-op, but not delicious enough for the price so we just resorted to their happy hour wine options. we both got a burger which was very good. the service was a bit off and we were dining very closely to other patrons sharing the picnic table. all in all not that pleasant of an experience and wish there were more of a description in the reservation that seating would be outside for smaller parties. probably won't return, at least during the colder months.
My drink was good but it was $32 after tax and tip. The space is super small if you don't have a dinner reservation.
The happy hour deals are only for beer and wine, and being gluten-free my only option was wine which was expensive and only $2 off per glass at happy hour.\n\nWhen I was there we had multiple ser…
This was me and my friends at time. They only give you the table for one to an hour and a half. Food is not fresh. My friends steak was so small and pricy. She did not like it. My waffle and chicken were not freshly cooked. Drinks were okay. The decoration was nice. I definitely don't recommend this place.
We were seated outside and were pretty much ignored for the most part. The server took forever to come back and it seemed like a lifetime before we even placed our order. The beer finally arrived and was pretty good. The food was another story. It looked good up front but was just ok, nothing special. Way too expensive for the plain food and service was lackluster. We had to hunt down our server so we could pay the tab. Wish I could’ve loved it.
We are having a wonderful experience on the outside patio until the we think manager who did not introduce ourselves came out and said sorry you cannot play your music because we can't play music Not sure who she was cuz she never introduced herself Horrible horrible if she was a manager Need to have more respect for the customer We understand the policy but be a little more polite about it As for our server Emily, with the glasses who just transferred from the West Coast. She was pleasant and put up with are a little bit of Shannon's It was a little chilly outside so most patrons did not want to sit outside, but we took the $500 hit for the good time We would probably not go here again just because of the poor interaction with the manager If you don't believe what I say, look at my Google reviews. I review multiple places For those of you who want to try the joint, make sure you make a reservation It is very crowded They only have two bathrooms which are coed And the drinks are a little bit weak but the atmosphere is nice So if you're a 67? 0 this is not the place for you
I recently visited Loreley Beer Garden in New York and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Despite there being plenty of open seats inside, we were forced to sit outside, which immediately felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. The service only made things worse—our server was inattentive, slow to check in, and seemed uninterested in providing even the most basic level of hospitality. It felt like we were an afterthought rather than valued guests. The food was another major letdown. Not only did it lack flavor and quality, but afterward, everyone in our group felt sick. That alone should be a serious red flag for any restaurant or bar. When you go to a place that brands itself as a beer garden, you at least expect hearty food that’s well-prepared and safe to eat, but Loreley failed miserably on that front. Overall, the vibe wasn’t even that great. Between the poor service, questionable food, and uncomfortable seating arrangement, there was really nothing about the experience that made it worthwhile. New York has countless better options for drinks and atmosphere, so I can confidently say I won’t be returning to Loreley Beer Garden again.
My friend and I attended before the holidays for brunch. I was running a little late and they were able to accommodate our reservation delay by a few minutes until I arrived. We were told our seati…
Visited this establishment today after reading mixed reviews. Straight off the bat, poor attitude from the bar staff, a man possibly who should have found his vocation in life by now, in ill fitting …

If you want a good beer go some place else. I asked for one. The bar tender kust gave me a mix of a few taps. Kind of weird. Did not love it. Just my opinion..
Hard to find anything really positive to say about this place. The “schnitzel” is absolutely not schnitzel (see photo), and for $20 a plate, which I felt I had to finish due to the exploitative price, it’s hard to go somewhere else after to feel satisfied: it’s far too much money for what you get. We also ordered a currywurst, which was better, but not great. Honestly, this place was massively disappointing and we won’t ever come back. Of all the beer gardens in NYC, there is significant distance between this place (the worst I’ve been to) and second worst. Skip. Life is too short to eat or drink here.
I would have given more stars but the service is horrible. Waited an 1 1/2 hours for a table and yet they had 5 tables that were empty and we were only a group of 4. I even saw a woman with a group of 4 and there are empty tables and yet they tell them they will have to wait and will text them when a table will be open. There are still 5 EMPTY tables. They are not even short staffed. I have no idea what this establishment is doing. Even a couple came in and again empty tables and they told them how long they will have to wait and they just left. Servers are also rude.
Wasn’t allowed to sing happy birthday. Accommodating as a brick to the face. The managing staff seemed to take pleasure making the night worse. Would avoid at all costs.
Eh....it wasn't what I expected...The FB page and the IG page made it LOOK like it was this whole thing. Its supposed to be a heated outdoor garden, when it's actually a tent with the heaters..that they have on the trains. Its small, and tight, so I cleared about three tables with my hips...I moved three times..cause I was just uncomfortable and felt awkward. Could be the full moon..could be me...I felt "rushed"...the "Hurry up and buy" spirit was moving, and NYC has this suggested tip THING. They just gone MAKE you GIVE them 20 percent. Like.... I'm not tipping more than I tithe, Boo. Fugheeddaboudid. Now...the Coconut Patron Margarita was a HIT. I had steak and eggs and the steak and potatoes were good. That was a set up. For how hard the eggs were. I found out that I don't like Gouda cheese. One star. I shan't return. That was a set up for the Shakespeare play that I was cast in...
Had a reservation and still waited 20+ minutes for a table with nowhere to stand. Crowded and disorganized. It is communal seating and the tables are too tight to move so you’re pushed against a party you don’t know. Instagram made it seem more extravagant than an outside tent with heaters and a few decorations. Too loud to talk, service was horrible (saw the waiter 3 times in 2 hours) and drinks were not worth the exorbitant price. Will not be coming again and will warn others of my experience
I have been to this place before and I enjoy the food. The thing I did noticed the 1st time was that the people working there were very rude. Second time I went was during brunch hour on a Sat so I know like most places theres going to be a wait. My 45mins wait was up and it was now passed an hour. And when I went back to see if they just forgot about me I noticed there was an empty table. But they still had me waiting for another 30mins. I finally got called and first thing I noticed was that there was 2 empty tables. I had to wait a while for the waiter to take my order. The guy who was handing my food (as my friend saw it) was very rude. By the time I was eating my food there were now 6 tables that were open, but yet they were still telling people that it's a wait. This time the food was not good. It was bland though I have to say the fries were the best. After a while the rude servers were getting to us that we just wanted to get out of the place. Asked for the check and waiter gave me the wrong bill. Also went to the restroom and the floor looked like it got flooded because every inch of the floor was covered in water. It was just disgusting. The workers in the front does not do anything. They all hang around the front talking instead of working which I saw both times I ate there and they definitely love to pretend they don't see you.
Overpriced “German” food that’s mediocre and the manager complained the group too loud you can’t talk or say anything to your group over a whisper meanwhile they sit you outside without any heating almost. Meanwhile it’s 8pm on a Saturday in the LES with a full house. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!
