Què diuen els clients de Spunto Thin Crust Pizza
Spunto Thin Crust Pizza is loved for its crispy, light thin-crust pizzas and friendly service. Many rave about the unique crust and fresh toppings. Some find certain toppings (like meatballs or the Meat Lover's) too salty or overpowering. Elisabeth is a standout server.

Stopped in the very welcoming Spunto Thin Crust Pizza Restaurant after not be welcomed at UVK on Carmine Street. Spunto has vegan options and really friendly service. They have something for everyone. Omni Bella!
Where else can you get a free pizza with every pitcher of beer or bottle of wine? Crust is perfectly crispy and the kale salad is amazing. Usually not too difficult to find a table and great for larger groups.
I had to come back and just share again how amazing this place is. literally 5-stars! Clean, friendly, tasty and thoughtful - this is such a well thought out and maintained business. Their house salad is yummazing! Absolutely amazing service at great prices every single time! Try the quinoa avocado salad with creamy Cesar dressing, so good!
We loved the thin crust because it didn't give you the feeling of having eaten a whole bread and little else. We enjoyed the toppings as their flavoures were rich and colourful. It was a pizza like we had never before and we were both very pleased we had found this little place. Shame we couldn't sit outside anymore because of the time (it was past 10 pm).
Great food (pizza) service and a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed a good dinner there.
How am I ever supposed to eat garlic cheese bread from somewhere else again? Great little spot with lots of outdoor seating and very reasonable prices. Creative and delicious thin crust pizza. Huge portions of cheese bread and a personal pizza for under $40 -- in NYC!
Excellent thin crust pizza in an old style resturant with a congenial atmosphere and quick service if you are catching a movie at the IFC. The menu is quite good but the salads can be a little too acidic. One of our favorite places.
Ugh I love all of these spots (Spunto, Vezzo, Posto, Groppo… I might be missing a few). Food is great. I go between their super thin (disclaimer: not NY style) pizza and their ravioli. I’ve had friends who work for them and I’ve always heard good things about the owners, as well. That’s just a bonus.
I don’t review a lot but this deserves it.... Pizza 5 stars. Garden salad with house dressing 5 stars. Cookie and brownie 5 stars. Booth to sit in 5 stars. Service and staff 5 stars. If I could give more stars I would.
Came here after work by myself on an Friday and stayed till almost closed. All the staff was wonderful and went beyond with everything. My waitress Camron, sorry I'm bad with names. Amazing and kind-hearted. She recommended some drinks. Um can't remember but it was a gin drink not sweet just perfect. I got personal pizza half half,it was soo good. The shrooms pizza hands down. Then I got the pesto with tomato,I was in heaven.I will be coming back and bringing more people with me. This place look small but it nice and roomy. After an bad day, they turn my frown into an smile🤗.Thank you.
The Pizza is gorgeous!!!! Amazing flavors and very crispy!
I walked miles in 15 degrees to get some of this pizza as I’ve never been here before and it was worth it! I got the millionaire bacon, chicken parmigiana and basil slices. I can’t remember the exact names but I’m pretty sure it’s close. I love how it’s actually a “thin” slice and not a lot of breading. When I first opened the pizza box, it didn’t look tasty or appealing but once I bit into it, it was so damn good. The sauce and the thin breading were evenly balance and thats a good sauce. I love how the millionaire bacon wasn’t stingy with their bacon and they loaded that pie up with bacon! I didn’t get to try the chicken parmigiana b/c I gave it to a homeless man walking up to me but I’m sure that would’ve been bomb too! Anyways, you won’t regret eating here, I promise you!
Very chill lunch spot. Delicious salads and the thin crisp pizza is solid. Quaint spot, no hassle getting a table. Highly recommend
This is the best pizza I've ever eaten, chicken chipotle with a side of their blue cheese dressing, unbelievable combo. Please open a location in Nashville, we need you desperately.
Thin, air-y, crisp, must try the spicy sauce.. really stands out. 7.8 without the spicy sauce.. 8.2 with. Excellent pizza
I ate here THREE times last week. Picked up a take out order on Wed, went with friend on Friday and Carmen took great care of us. My friend only wanted to sit outside but there were no tables available and my friend said she would wait. Carmen said, "Give me a minute." She brought a table from somewhere and sprayed it down and wiped it and brought it outside. Amazing! Then 2 friends met me Sunday and I mentioned Spunto. They were all in. Elizabeth was our server. She was phenomenal! Great happy hour deals. And the food all 3 times was delicious. The best thin crust pizza, great salads(burrata was wonderful) and the food is so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend this fantastic restaurant. Thank you Spunto!
Been here many times and company I work for usually orders from here. The pizza here is really good and I can usually eat 2 -3 slices. They are after all thin small slices 😀I usually get the pepperoni slices. Their house salad comes with their own dressing and it's delicious! They also offer personal size pies and salads. Will definitely be back!
I love Spunto! We came here for lunch and got seated pretty quickly, though they were busy. The waitstaff were super friendly as were the maîtres d'. Our orders were taken pretty quickly and our "small" salads came out very soon after. The salads were not small at all, and they were wonderful and fresh and full of nice greens. Two of my friends had the pizza, which was so delicious. I had the grilled chicken and goat cheese sandwich, which was also delicious. It's also very reasonably priced and very cute decor. Highly recommend!
I came here with my girlfriend for a weekend night date. The waitress was amazing and full of life. We really enjoyed her food and wine recommendations. The place had a great chill vibe that allowed for us to sit and have a long conversation. The food was very tasty and I would recommend for a spontaneous weekend date.
Perfect Pizzas for every taste..I love the personal size pizza for me and I get anchovies on the side..they also have amazing , interesting salads. For Dessert my friends and I get the Bread pudding OMG it's fantastic. The service is wonderful , everyone is really down to earth n friendly...(Susan is my favorite, she remembers me and my friends and is so attentive n sweet) I prefer the week days n nights to weekends only because it gets pretty packed..but it's always worth the trip
Great food and great service. We had a party of seven and they were able to accommodate us with a reservation. We got a personal pizza and the beet salad and that was enough for two people. The beet salad with the pistachios was the best beet salad I've ever had! The server was nice and personal and service was prompt. The lemonade was a great idea, you can sweeten it to how you like and I thought that was very ingenious. The atmosphere was laid back but inviting. Will definitely return.
Truly delicious thing crust pizza. The toppings are fresh and the dough is perfect. The staff were kind and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. Definitely worth putting on your radar if you're in the area.
Always great service and awesome lunch and happy hour specials. I love their salads and pizza! Probably one of my favorite go-tos in the city. Edit: The Cheddar Apple Salad is my favorite! We used to host our bookclub here pre-pandemic and it was perfect as we'd buy a bottle of wine and get a free pizza. It was the perfect atmosphere and level of quiet for us.
Amazing pizza with super thin crust. Long list of choices of pizzas and salads. We had traditional Classica and ChickPotle, both were really good. Friendly staff. Popular place, there were no empty seats when we were leaving. Lots of empty meter parking, free after 7. Will definitely be back.
I loved the smallish bar, the low light, the cozy atmosphere. While it is wine-centric, I found an ale on draft that I liked a great deal. I appreciated that they had personal-sized pizzas, and mine had lots of flavor. A gem of a place.
Absolutely delicious! Very unique thin crust with just the right amount of cheese, sauce, and seasoning. The salads are fresh and flavorful with in-house dressings. Fabulous service is the cherry on the top!
Outstanding, made to order pies. They use top notch ingredients and offer great customization options, as well as perfect side dishes. Just wish they offered more draft beer options. Cider from a can is not too appetizing.
What a beautiful place for extraordinary thin crust pizza. Upscale with moderate priced. A great place for a conversation between 2 or 6+ people. Lovely decor, good service. Specialty salads plus other Italian treats. Located conveniently in the West Village on Carmine Street. Near the FDECA and #1 trains.
Great food! We ordered a house salad that tasted so good! My ravioli tasted so good too! Also very clean environment. The cool AC feels so nice in a hot summer day.
Luscious super-thin pies with a huge variety of toppings, meat & veg. Service always pleasant & efficient. Spacious, comfortable, plenty of seating -- never feels like you have to rush to make room for the next customer. I always come back to Spunto.
IMHO, best pizza in the city, period. (As are their sibling locations, Posto's, etc.) I've actually salivated while waiting. Great spot - inside or out. As an aside, both Susan and Elizabeth are incredible servers who are above and beyond what you would expect in a casual restaurant.
The best pizza I've ever had! Tge Mediterranean salad was phenomenal! You must go here!!
Our family’s been regular to this place for a decade because we love how they make thin crust pizza. It’s perfect to our taste. One of the best thin crust pizza place you can find in NYC either to dine in or take out. Hands down. The place is cozy and food, salad, drinks are reasonably priced. We usually order personal size pizza (perfect size), one for each member of party. Easy to finish and digest per person. Our favorites are their mushroom pizza (Shroomtown) and Sausage pizza (Salsiccia Dolce). Sometimes we customize our pie. They have good seasonal cocktails too. I wish them best and keep the crust recipe the same for many years of business to come…
first time here, very welcoming and cozy vibe, our server was great, super patient and knows the ins and outs of the menu. great music, very clean and classy looking. food was exceptional, we ordered the plain and chipotle personal pies, thin and superrr crispy, overall a great first time experience, will definitely come by again
Spunto is a neighborhood favorite of mine for delicious, reasonably priced thin crust pizza and beer. The service is always wonderful, the atmosphere is casual and the pizza is the best thing crust in the Village. I highly recommend Spunto.
Delicious, family friendly, high quality, great service, ideal location, pizza spot! Highly recommend!!!
my top pizza place in the city. If you like super crispy thin crust pizza this place is a must. I'm talking like, a crunchy cracker with sauce and toppings. Not for everyone. Sides and drinks are good too, never had trouble walking in and getting a table. my go to spot for a sit-down pizza dinner. I forget the name but the one w/ arugula, proscuitto and apple slices glazed w/ balsamic is top tier. But it's all good. Shroomtown is a bit heavy on the truffle oil for my taste, but could prob just ask to take it easy next time.
Fabulous pizzas!! The cocktails are very good as well. Love the happy hour deals, though I would love more beers on tap.
Always delicious, good service and affordable. A real west village gem. Especially for those that love thin crust and lots of toppings.
This is by far my favorite pizza place in Manhattan. Thin crust, massive flavor. Chill vibes and friendly staff. I love going here after a movie at the Film Forum or the IFC.
This was an. Amazing experience! The food was excellent for our son’s 40th birthday celebration. More importantly however, Sarah the manager made the entire event run so smoothly. She was easy to work with and so efficient. I would totally recommend Spunto and especially Sarah
This pizza place is exactly what I thought of when I thought of NYC thin crust. The restaurant is small, but boy, there are delicious things inside. The staff was nice and helpful - they allowed us to get different "flavors" on each pizza - like half and half of things. We got a salad with beets and goat cheese and it was fresh and clean and yummy. We also got the bacon jam crostini - and the only 2 words you need to know in order to purchase this are "bacon" and "jam". I ordered a margarita and boy, was that drink potent! My friend who ordered a drink also agreed the bartender had a heavy handed pour because we were tipsy before we finished. The flavor of the drinks were okay - I probably wouldn't get a mixed drink again, but I don't think you go to a NYC thin crust pizza place for the mixed drinks. My group ordered 2 pizzas - one that was half meat lovers and half parma, the other was the formaggio blanca and half mushrooms. The parma and meat lovers was so good - (that's the only one I tried) - I actually took some of the parma home to eat at the airport the next day! Delicious even cold. Definitely try this place!
Excellent thin crust pizza. Fast service. Clean environment. 5/5! Lunch special is a great deal in the area.
My friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant, and we were delighted with our choice. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the portions were generous. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will definitely be returning.
A free pizza with a pitcher of beer? Say less. The pizza is sooooo thin and cheesy which is my favorite kind. I think this is my favorite pizza in my neighborhood (and you don’t have to eat it standing up outside 👀)
Don’t sleep on Spunto! For a thin crust fancy pie, there is simply no better place in the city. They have an amazing happy hour special where you get a free large cheese pizza with a purchase of any wine bottle or pitcher of beer. Our favorite is the Parma pizza and the Chickpotle. The fresh apples and balsamic glaze is what does it for me in the Parma. Love the Caesar and we also sometime get the Crostini. Yum yum yum all around.
We’ve been coming to Spunto for years. Truly one of my “home” restaurants. It’s perfect every time. But the magic is in the service. Elisabeth is my favorite server, I always seek her out, she is the best, ask for her! Consistently fantastic!
Why I fly to NY from Austin, TX. Well, not the ONLY reason but a significant one. A WONDERFUL margherita pizza done exactly as I requested. A greek salad that had standard ingredients but all aspects premium! Served at perfect temperature instead of having been in the refrigerator all day, premium feta noticeably better than most, nothing wilted, good dressing that wetted everything but no pool in the dish, all ingredients top tier. Friendly server. Don't know how it could have been better. No gelato on site but found in the neighborhood.
I booked a family sibling and family lunch here just based on Google maps to meet up. I passed this place before but never been in so I gave it a shot. Great decision indeed, the atmosphere was great. The food and the service was great as well. Plenty of space not cramped at all. We came early because I like to go early to a new place I've never been but this restaurant has plenty of space. I had the meat lasagna my other family had the pizzas and hummus. Everyone was satisfied and eat every last drop. The manager was great, the cooks as well and the bathroom was spotless. I totally recommend a visit, especially if you want to sit down and be comfortable.
Spunto NYC is pizza done right! The thin crust is crispy, light, and packed with flavor — every bite hits just right. The toppings are fresh, the sauce is spot on, and the vibe is casual and friendly. Perfect spot for an easy meal with great pizza and chill energy
This place is an incredible pizza 🍕 spot! Spunto Thin Crust Pizza has a great collection of delicious 🤤 house pies! Definitely try the Chicken Parmesan Pizza! You can also ask for half and half to try multiple pies! Service is quick and staff is super nice! The Happy Hour is great and offers a free plain pizza pie (or $21 off any other pizza) if you order a pitcher of beer 🍺! I wish I came here more often!
I have to say, I was a bit disappointed by Ucayali. The pizza was good, but not that great. Ingredients were really fresh and delicious, but overall, I just wasn't blown away. I love the fact that it's BYOB, but we didn't know and had to run out at the last minute to get a bottle of wine. They push you to turn over the tables quickly, but that's understandable given the enormous line outside.
I love this place and it's a standard every time I return to NY. I first discovered it because it was a neighborhood spot. I lamented not living closer to other famed thin crust places like Grimaldi's (back in the day, now not so much) so decided to give this place a try. I was amazed. The thin crust is as this as you can get, literally cracker thin and fits my definition of a perfect NY crust: thin (of course), crispy, cracks when you fold it but doesn't break, and stands up to the toppings when lifted. The toppings are on point too, though sometimes a little salty / intense (ahem meat lovers, but I get it anyway), and the pies have gotten a little smaller over the years (they used to fill the whole tray). Everyone should visit this place and it will become the pizza standard by which you judge all other pizzas.
Quality though unspectacular and fairly pedestrian menu served with attentiveness and speed. The place is subtly lit, mellow, arrayed in dark wood, with slightly cramped seating. Their kitchen is open and almost falls on top of you if you're seated in the back, which is a nice touch.
This is a nice cozy little brick house pizzeria that serves excellent thin crust pizzas that are full of crunchiness. My friend ordered the El Greco and it was good but not outstanding, just the usual greek notes of pepper, feta and olive. I had the Parma and it was phenomenal. The fresh apples really played well with the cured meat and bitter arugula. The staff was super nice. I'd definitely see myself coming back.
Good service and tasty drinks. I would definitely recommend the garlic bread! Crunchy and fresh but not overpowering. The staff was very helpful but not overbearing. Really nice for a weeknight dinner
Great place for thin crust pizza, esp. on a Friday night. Decent footfall, but not crowded and no waiting. Ample space for seating and you don't have to shout to get heard. We asked for the spicy marinara and it was just as spicy as advertised :). Overall, good food and service. Definitely recommend.
This is one of my favorite pizzas in the city. Its the same menu and preparation as vezzo and always hits the spot. One of the best thin crust pie in the city. It was my first time at this particular location and was slightly underwhelmed by the really long wait times to even place the order. They seemed to be really understaffed. I recommend customizing the pizza to your taste. Do add sun dried tomatoes as a topping
Delicious thin crust pizza. They also have a great happy hour - a free plain pie with the purchase of pitcher of beer. I’d recommend opting for pies with only one or two toppings. We had a plain pie with roasted garlic which was amazing. We also tried the chicken Milanese pie and there was too much going on and it was difficult to eat without everything falling off. You can really appreciate the crispy thin crust with minimal toppings
We ordered a large meat lover pizza. The thin crust is amazing, like having a cracker, but the toppings are a bit salty for our taste. We would definitely return in our next visit to NYC and order another type, as we loved the thin crust. The house salad is excellent! We loved the ambience too.
Gosh, this place is really a gem! My workplace orders from Spunto frequently so I decided one day to try it fresh. I got a chipotle chicken inspired recipe which I thought was quite good and fresh. The crust was crispy and a very different sort of thin crust which you'll rarely find around the city. I'm a big fan of cilantro so I really thought it was exceptional (pass on the pineapple). The reason I have to knock it one star is because of the price. A personal pizza with toppings and a soda came out in the ballpark of $20 and I can't be spending that kind of *dough* on a lunch. Nevertheless, the crust and pizza is to dry for so if you got some extra cash to splurge and are in the mood, try Spunto!
Kind of pricey unless you catch the lunch special but what else to expect from that neighborhood. Food was okay, I ordered the ravioli, it wasn't that great but might be up to taste with others. Their pizza however is great and is indeed super thin. So if in doubt, order that.
I am a pizza lover and I was not blown away by the pie. I mean….I have shared a lot of slices in my day. And this place does not make the list. One of the main things that it lacked was flavor. I had to add a bunch of peppers, garlic salt, parmesan, etc in order to enjoy my pie. I am not impressed and I will not return. On top of it… the service was below average. Just a big… no bueno!
The bar is high when it comes to Italian American cuisine in NYC. Unfortunately, Spunto did not live up to the reviews. Pizza was interesting at best. The flavor was average and the thin crust will not bring me back. The “sautéed broccoli” was baked.
The energy was off in here. As soon as I walked in primetime during dinner on a Saturday night is was dead in there and all of the servers just stare at you as you walk by them. They were sitting in the booths or just hanging around looking bored and judging the customers. It felt very awkward and does not seem professional. I use to love this place 10 years ago as the pizza was Amazing and it was a good atmosphere but a lot has changed since then. The pizza lacked the same authentic flavor as before. The best thing that I still love is that I can get half white / red on a personal pie and it's still thin crust but the environment just really killed the vibe for me.
Very disappointed by my delivery order. I had ordered delivery once before: a chipotle and milanese pizza. And they were good. This time I ordered a meat lover's pizza and it was not the same quality. Not at all consistent with the quality of the previous order. My pizza was burnt all around the edges and felt prepared with less care.. I will not order again as I have the impression it can be a hit or miss.
Took until the end of our trip to actually hate a restaurant in NYC. This place is a train wreck! They will lie to you to get you to go on the wait list & then extend the wait time over & over. If it’s 30 minutes expect 2 hours if you’re lucky. Total BS! The hosts are rude. The atmosphere is bad. & the pizza is not worth the price. Just an overall bad vibe. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
