Had an issue with Amazon sending me the wrong Stone Street espresso beans (Green beans destroyed my grinder!). Called Stone Street to see what I could do with the beans since I couldn't grind them (like peebles). Wayne Wright Sent me a fresh new bag of the right espresso I originally ordered. Because of him, I ordered 3 bags of coffee and will be a life time customer! The coffee and espresso has a rich and bold taste and not too acidic. The aroma is very pleasant and is a quality product. New York at it's finest!!!
While staying around the corner at the Dream Downtown hotel, I was NEEDING some coffee one morning. I thought I would make it to Starbucks being such a sucker for those gold stars accumulating on my app for a free drink, but ended up being gravitationally pulled into Stone Street. This seems counter-intuitive, but the walk-up window made me walk inside. Everyone outside just looked so happy. Their dogs looked happy. The barista helping them looked happy. Once inside, I saw there was not much seating area, but the service was exceptional and made me wish I was a local. I ordered a blueberry scone (the pastries are from Amy's Bread) and a soy latte. They have Guatemalan coffee, which makes the coffee dark (almost bitter), but really good. Being just down the street from Chelsea market, you should make your way over to this little place. All that happiness and they have a membership program for all of you that are as neurotic as me about your accumulation toward free future coffee.
While I have never been to their location, but I can comment on their coffee. Plainly, these are the best coffee roasts I have had. For years, I have had faves that I kept coming back to (Zabars French Italian topped the list)...But Stone Street's Sumatra and Perfect Espresso roast are far and above better. Rich flavors and not bitter. If you are looking for a coffee roaster that would even please the pickiest of coffee snobs, you can't go wrong with Stone Street!
I ordered hazelnut coffee grounds from Amazon, and it is now my FAVORITE coffee. I was instantly hooked. When I ran out, I had to go back to my old blend, which doesn't taste nearly as good anymore. Once you go Stone Street, you can't go back. I'm drinking it as I write this review.
I've had the pleasure of having espressos, iced coffee and my favorite pumpkin latte at this place. The baristas are always courteous and seem to know the regulars and enjoy their work. I haven't yet sampled the pastries but will take a crack at them sometime over the summer months. In the meanwhile, if you like great coffee and coffee drinks, this is my go to place in Chelsea.
I love their cold brew dark roast. It holds up its flavor and strength. I drink this coffee hot and use it as homemade cold brew. This is so perfect. Thank you so much, without this coffee I dont know how I would be surviving during this pandemic.

Cold brew coffee is absolutely delicious! Ordered online and had some delivery issues on the USPS side. Stone street had great customer service and helped me resolve the issue!
They're coffee is amazing! I love in Michigan but love their amazing flavors of decaf. I have it shipped every 6 weeks. The subscription is easy and when I accidentally set up two subscriptions they helped me cancel it and refunded it immediately. Their prompt response and attention was amazing. Their customer service is top notch.
I would like to highlight the excellent service provided by Isabella. From the very beginning, she was friendly and always with a positive attitude :)
I ordered 12 pounds of the cold brew grind coffee mid last year, and it lasted my partner and I around 6 months; while drinking at least 1 cup a day each. When I placed my order in June '21 I actually bought at least one from the various flavors they offered, and it is the most delicious fresh coffee I ever bought here in the US. Posting this mainly cause I am ordering more today and believe they earned a review. Of note: there was a bit of a snafu after placing my order and it took 2 weeks to arrive. Taking into account I live 4 hours away from their location; I feel a status update for my "3 days" delivery to 2 weeks was warranted. A call to them got that sorted out though. Still Ordering again 🤷♀️ because it is that good.
Stone Street makes some excellent coffee. I can't speak to visiting their Brooklyn location in-person, but my employer uses their coffee beans at the office and I've bought several bags for use at home. The whole beans smell rich and flavorful straight out of the bag. As can be expected, the regular varieties taste better than decaf, but their decaf is excellent when compared to others in that class. I love their medium roasts, especially the House Blend. Favorite decaf variety is the European Fancy decaf. They also offer a Swiss water decaffeinated Mayan coffee is half-caff and full decaf.

We really liked the drinks. Gigi explained all the promotions to us, and we were very satisfied with the service!!!

I don't know if the location at Pier A (Battery Park) is new or I just never noticed. But I saw it on my bike ride yesterday and stopped in. Front right corner of Pier A. Would never have seen it but for the sandwich board sign. Very cute walk-in place. No inside tables, but plenty of seating/tables around the Pier A area. Not a ton of pastry variety, but what they have is fresh and good. Had a choc croissant - perfect. Coffee was very good, as well. Not the burnt-bean Sbuck variety by a long shot! Decor is kinda fun. Only thing that kept it from 5 stars was the odd barista. At first I just went in for curiosity, tried asking the guy about the place, then went back out. Got a brusque treatment and a kinda hate-stare. When I went back in, semi-friendly to take the order. I suppose tourists think we're all like that. But if you want locals . . .

Was served a cold brew with soy milk that had gone bad (clumpy/separated milk which shouldn’t happen when poured into a cold drink). When I asked the barista, he told me the soy milk was fine and showed me the expiration date was December 2019. Clearly didn’t understand that the date on the box is the shelf life, and once opened, it only lasts 7-10 days. . Two stars because the other black coffee we ordered was good.
Live in the area and stopped in to try it out. Had a nice variety of options and seemed like a nice place. Barista was rude and unfriendly, despite the store being empty most of the time he seemed angry that we had even come in quickly made two very bad lattes and did not get our order right. When we brought it up he insisted he ordered the wrong thing. Will not be going back because of this barista.
Ordered 3 bags of coffee online. Order arrived January 24, 2025. Two of the bags had best by January 25, 2025 on them. I contacted the company they said “ The stamp date on the bags are a mistake. We never keep inventory on our shelves for that long”. Oh congrats your product is THAT great that you don’t have an inventory problem Yes they did eventually offer a replacement or a refund but come on. People go by dates. I don’t go to the grocery store and by past expired foods.

Just visited the Harbor House/Battery Park location. Awful experience! Barista was rude and clearly unhappy by having a customer at 10am on a Sunday- despite the place being completely empty. When my order was incorrect, he insisted that was what I had ordered and showed no effort to correct it. His unpleasant persona will be the sole reason I will never return to this location.
If you are the proprietor or general manager, please advise your staff. I own a business in the area and would like myself, my patrons, and guests to safely walk in front of your establishment. I don't know your coffee, but your staff does not care about neighborhood residents and puts them in harm's way by parking their van angled on the sidewalk on a very busy street. I tried to warn the driver about the hazard this creates, and he ignored me and walked away as I was speaking. I proceeded to enter the establishment to notify the supervisor, and he spoke to me but disregarded my concerns. I explained that as I stepped into the street because there was no room on either side of the van, due to its position, a bike was going to crash into me. Instead of asking the driver to park their van at least 2 feet from the curb so pedestrians can safely walk, he provided excuses and pointed out that Con-Ed also has the sidewalk blocked. They do, but they have cones that can easily be moved by pedestrians (Incident occurred on 10/18/2021 at around 9am - rush hour). Next time, I will take a picture and file a formal complaint.
I've ordered stone Street coffee online several times and I've loved all their coffee except one. And I've given 5 stars reviews on their coffees. And I give that one bad coffee an quick honest 1 star review on their website. Which is when I noticed that review never was approved and then I noticed that none of there coffees on their website have anything under a 4 star review they block all 3 star or under it seems so stonestreet is a dishonest company. Also their grinds are incredibly inconsistent. I just ordered 5 different coffees all in coarse grind, but one is medium or maybe even a fine grind. 2 are like a medium coarse grind like you would expect and 2 are more what I'd call just crushed I mean it's big chunks of beans. I've tried to call them on this matters but the phone never gets picked up so this review can just sit here for now. Think this will be my last order as well sadly since I like there coffee but hey maybe act little less like a company from new York 😜
