Delicious sushi and extremely fair prices. Relaxed environment and kind staff.
The best sushi spot in nyc! Everything is delicious with unbelievably fresh fish and perfectly made sushi. Good people running this neighborhood mom and pop restaurant. Everything is delicious, even the seaweed salad is better than any other spot.
Best place for quick sushi around the town. Sushi is pretty big and filling, with good price and taste. Nice and friendly owner too
It's a nice small place that always has fresh sushi; my favorite is the spicy tuna and salmon skin. On top of that, they're nice people who always remember you. However, during Friday and Saturday night they can get quite busy.
I have been coming to Sushi Gallery since I used to live in Brooklyn Heights back in 2005. I live in Bed Stuy now, and I still come back to Sushi Gallery because I love the owners, and it's family owned. They always remember me. They are like my sushi family ❤️
Very good sushi! High consistency. I've been coming to this place for a few years roughly once or twice a month and they've never once failed to perform. Very highly recommended!!
Delicious, the vibe is good and the people are nice, chef is good. Cheaper than sushi lin
One of my fav sushi in Brooklyn heights , small business own and great service.
Absolutely incredible sushi! The work done by the chefs behind the table was fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough about this place!
There are no words to describe how good the food is. Period.
I only have good things to say! 10/10 experience, would go again!! :) The atmosphere was so calming, the food was fantastic, and the service was very, very pleasant! I had a great time dining in with my family. I would definitely recommend it!!!
This place is amazing. 100% consistent with fresh and HUGE cuts of fish. I keep over ordering because compared with other sushi restaurants the cuts are just that much bigger. I still manage to eat everything ;) Completely worth leaving the apartment, and nice to support a restaurant in the Clark St Station while the MTA slugs along with their repairs.
One of the cleanest Sushi 🍣 restaurant 😋....the owners are delightful and very helpful I eat there 3 times a week....because of my job. They're never disappointing at all, rest room clean to a T and we'll kept.....I love it there.
been going here ever since my staple sushi place closed in the beginning of the year. have been satisfied 100% of the time. they seem to be very good about not cross contaminating food. take out only though no not for in available.
This sushi is FANTASTIC. Fresh ingredients and original special rolls. Each roll I’ve had here has been delicious. The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for solo, couple or family dining. The rolls are reasonably priced in comparison to other dining spots in this area. I enjoy the food every time.
I really love the Spicy Salmon and Salmon Don — both are absolutely delicious! The flavors are rich and the fish is incredibly fresh. Highly recommended!
Definitely the best sushi in the neighborhood (now open for dine in!!) – the fish is so fresh & generously portioned that I think it could even be considered one of the best in NYC especially considering the price. highly recommend the Spicy Scallop Roll and the Salmon House combo, and if you’re craving something fresh and crunchy, the Hwe Dup Bap (회덮밥/fish bibimbap) is also amazing. the 3 roll combos are also among my go-to! I’ve tried almost all of the other sushi spots in the area, and the quality/freshness/taste of sushi gallery’s food don’t compare.. this is the real deal. The owners are really nice and the food is so affordably priced (~$15-18 for 3 roll combos which are so fresh and so good), which I’m very thankful for because I get takeout here 1-2x a week to get my weekly sushi fill. so legit 🥵
This place is awesome! Been around for a while and is a great family-run business. The sushi is delicious, the service is fast and considerate, and the price is reasonable! One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants.
As an avid sushi eater, Sushi Gallery is hands down my mew favorite place to order sushi from. My family and I ordered a few special rolls as well as sushi and sashimi. They have the freshest fish! Every bite was so delicious and satisfying. The price was also amazing for quality sushi. The couple that owns the store are so lovely as well. Highly highly recommend if you are in the area!
$25 for 10pc sushi + tuna rolls + salad + miso soup?!?! I’ll be back sooner than they’d expect lol Everything was so good, so fresh, so homey. I’ll be back every weekend!
Definitely a good sushi place in the area, prices are very accessible, portions are big, service is nice. It can take some time to get your order but definitely worth it. My recommendation is to bring cash, prices are cheaper if you pay in cash. I would recommend it to my friend and I would absolutely go again. In the photo you can see the signature Sushi Gallery Roll
Very good! Very Fresh! Nice and clean restaurant 👌Affordable! loved the big mag roll and spicy combo.

My roommates and I discovered this local sushi spot shortly after moving to the neighborhood and we are obsessed (we order at least once a week). It’s consistently fresh, served by the sweetest couple, and super affordable. We’re on a first name basis at this point. It’s just the best.
Really delicious food and fresh fish. Seems really authentic. They could probably improve the atmosphere a little bit by adding music. But the sushi is wonderful and very well priced
I used to live near this place, and I love it with all my heart. The sushi is absolutely delicious and fresh. I will proudly argue that this sushi is superior to many many other more expensive Japanese restaurants. The couple running the restaurant are so lovely.
One of the best hidden gems in NYC! My friends and I have been loyal to Sushi Gallery since day 1 and 12 years later I'm still a regular. The two owners work so hard and put so much care into their process.
Excellent, like the other reviews said, it’s quiet inside. Which was absolutely perfect, other places were packed. Our group ordered the “Gallery Don’s”, Sashimi over sushi rice. Would definitely recommend it, great prices also.
Very sweet couple who own and work the whole restaurant Unbelievably reasonably priced! $7 for simple rolls (spicy tuna, salmon avocado) and they’re so good. My husband and i are regulars There’s maybe ~8 tables inside but you can usually find a seat. It’s a hole in the wall. Nothing fancy but better than it looks on the outside!
Genuinely the best sushi I’ve had, everything was so fresh!

I decided to go here after visiting the Brooklyn Bridge Park. A very cosy spot for some decently priced sushi. I would recommend their volcano roll and their spicy tuna roll (I'm a spicy sushi fan clearly). The rolls weren't spicy, but still pretty solid if you're craving sushi in the area. The service was wonderful!
I ordered edamame as an appetizer and a spicy tuna roll and a salmon roll. The spicy tuna was a touch too spicy for me, but it was overall very tasty. I would just ask for it without the extra sauce on the top. The salmon roll was virtually flavorless. I suppose I prefer salmon sushi over a roll. Also, I do not generally like it when the nori is on the outside of the roll. I live down the street, but I will definitely go back and try out other treats on their menu. It was worth it.
I didn't have high expectations walking in because it was such a tiny, dark, and old place. But the food, ingredients, and the care used in prep was really heartening. Also the amount of food that they gave for the price was amazing NY
The food was quite nice and very large portions. The fish was fresh and tasty. The rice isnt sushi rice but all in all the food was good and flavoursome. A really sweet mom and pop operation. Its only 2 people running the restaurant, from taking orders to making the sushi etc. So be patient if the restaurant is busy.
The food was very good and fresh!! Menu selection is kinda small but it’s okay they make what they do have very well. Enjoyed the spicy combo and USA combo. Felt very cozy and the staff were super friendly too. My only complaint is that we had to ask for water well into our meal because we were under the assumption that water costs $2 (menu said bottled water $2) until we saw another table get water upon arrival oops my mistake
Other Japanese places nearby were packed full on this Saturday night, so my friend and I said screw it and came here because it was wide open and we were the only people in the restaurant and we had a fabulous time gorging on delightful rolls in this easy breezy sushi spot. Low key authentic cutie w/ reasonable prices.

Sushi Gallery did it job presenting their sushi but really lack the flavor and freshest. Salmon taste like its in the fridge for a long time, the texture is dried
Sushi was fine. They didn’t inform me that they packed a soup in a cardboard container that was not secure, which spilled all over my car.
Sushi here is a 3 star only because the sushi genuinely could be better if they put in alittle more effort. Overall the place is not bad, but if your looking for a night out to eat some sushi...... find somewhere else
Service was a bit slow and overall the sushi here tasted pretty decent. However, one of the things we ordered was "grilled." They have no grill, just a toaster oven that I'm assuming was used to heat up the fish they claimed to have grilled.

Found a hair in my sushi :( We received delivery and unfortunately there was hair in one of our dishes. Tried calling the restaurant for a refund but unfortunately they pushed us off of the phone without one, despite offering to provide pictures for proof. The restaurant kept saying we were calling about a late delivery complaint, even though we very clearly stated it was about an issue of hair being in our food. Update: The restaurant got in contact with me 4 days later & made matters right by providing a refund! Appreciate the prompt customer service
The rolls were both warm and very loose. The rolls kept falling apart when I tried to eat them with chopsticks, so I had to give up and eat each ingredient separately.
we waited over 1h because they were out of rice (on a friday around 6-7pm).. also, unfortunately both of us absolutely didn’t like any of the ordered sushi.
