Opinions de Zhongzhong Noodles Albee Square
This place is absolutely fantastic! My friend and I came here after doing pottery and had no idea what we were walking into. The menu is short, sweet and to the point, with a little bit of everything for everyone. We opted to share the Marinated Fried Chicken and the Shrimp and Corn Dumplings, while my friend got the Braised Pork Rice Bowl, and I got the Szechuan Braised Beef Noodle. Everything we had was fantastic; excellent portions and flavors all around. My friend wasn't a big fan of the chicken, but I personally loved it. Of all the items we had, both of us agreed that the braised pork was top tier. Everything else was good, but there was something that stood out with the flavors, textures, and just overall satisfaction you get from that dish. That one is HIGHLY recommended. I also opted to try the sour plum juice, which I don't think will be everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it. All of these items were portioned generously, and didn't cost as much as you would think. We did get a discount as part of a promotion they were doing that was buy one get one 50% off for the bowls, but even at full price I would say that everything was worth it. The customer service here was also excellent. The gentleman at the front was very friendly and clear, and helped us to make our decisions. The interior of the restaurant was also very clean. If I had one criticism, it would be that the place is a bit small for anyone looking to dine in, as seating is limited. But that doesn't detract from the overall experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone in the area.
This place is conveniently placed in Fort Green, Brooklyn. They have the best prices. Food is fresh, tasty and clean. Location is quiet and cozy. Staff helpful and friendly.
This family ran joint serves the best beef noodle soup and homemade soup dumplings! It’s the perfect spot for a cozy meal, especially during the winter or rain. The noodle soup had a rich, clean broth & the meat was super tender. Some other standout dishes included the shanghai shumai and spicy wontons in chili oil, which I could easily eat multiple portions of. I’ll definitely be back! The food was sooo delicious😋, I came here with my friend after a walk in the park and the food was able to quench our hunger. I ordered the Szechuan braised beef noodles and a side of marinated fried chicken, my friend ordered the marinated beef rice bowl. Every single thing we ordered was delicious, I especially loved the subtle spice with the noodles. The sauce served with the fried chicken was also delicious! 5⭐️
Located in Fort Greene, this restaurant opened a few months ago after moving their location here from the Bronx! The ambiance is pretty casual and I must say it's pretty chilled out compared to typical Chinese restaurants in the city! The service too is pretty quick whereas the staff is friendly. These people have bought the Sichuan cuisine and Americanized it for the local taste buds and at first I had reservations regarding the spice as I'm not too accustomed to it! Initially was looking for shredded chicken noodle but they had run out of chicken so I had Szechuan Braised beef noodles for which I requested them to make it less spicy than usual. The dish had braised beef, roasted chick peas, noodles, bok choy and half egg. The broth/soup was tasty as well as spicy enough to make my nose runny and heat up the body temperature! The roasted chick peas felt amazing as they had a great crunch whereas the noodles were perfectly cooked along with the beef was tender. Although not a big fan of beef, I liked this experience I also ordered dumplings as sides, there were 3 pieces of it with minced pork. The outer layer of the dumplings was a bit thick and I guess they can work a bit on it making it thinner but it did taste good! Overall a great experience and looking forward to visiting again in the future!
Amazing food, clean area and nice staff.
Keepin it real out here in Clinton Hill / Fort Greene Not our first time to Zhong Zhong but our first time in this Brooklyn location. Always a treat to find a solid Chinese spot in an area without too much Asian food, and better yet, the food and service was solid. The food definitely hit the spot for a rainy December day. We got a few noodles and sides, idk how they do it or cause im Chinese American, but every dish just tasted so right! A little out of the way for us but will definitely stop by again whenever we're in the area
This was my second visit to this restaurant, and I have to say it was the best meal I've ever had. The food is consistently excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. I enjoyed the beef over rice and chili oil dumplings. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and brought great energy to the dining experience. Despite inflation causing many NYC restaurants to use cheaper ingredients, this restaurant maintains high-quality ingredients, which you can definitely taste.
Title: Fantastic Find in Brooklyn - Best Ramen Experience Yet! I recently had the pleasure of dining at the best ramen place in Brooklyn, ZHONGZHONG NOODLES and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted warmly by the staff and felt like a valued guest. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with traditional Japanese decor that added to the authenticity of the dining experience. The menu offered a wide variety of ramen options each bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was top-notch, with attentive waitstaff and quick service. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of food, making it a great value for the money. Overall, I highly recommend the Zhongzhong place in Brooklyn to any ramen lover looking for an authentic and satisfying dining experience. I will definitely be back to try more of their delicious offerings.
The best noodles I’ve ever had! The cashier was so friendly — amazing service.
This is one of the best noodle soups you’ll have in New York - and I’ve tried a lot of them. Just came back from four months in Taiwan - and the region. Craving beef noodle soup. Woah - this place blew my mind. More of a light broth Chinese style salty but with insane depth of spice for flavor. The meat was soft as hell. I got a side of rice. Complex not too rich easy beautiful eating. Generous portion of meat. 9.8/10 (noodles were a bit stuck together)
Best wontons I've had in a long time. I added a side of quail eggs to the wontons. Their facility is very clean including the restrooms. Customer service was excellent. Whatever that red sauce was, it was amazing and upon tasting it I closed my eyes and was transported to another realm. Thank you for Quality Taste Zhongzhong !!! I will be back often !

This place rocks. Love to stop in for a quick bite but it’s small so a great option for takeout or delivery. It’s not a huge menu so I’ve tried most of the things. The noodle soups are perfect. The soup dumpling broth is nicely spiced & flavorful. I think this is one of the only places nearby you can get (good) zhajiangmian. The fried chicken bowl is an incredible deal. They really load it up with chicken - one of the only places where the real product is more generous than the photos. The staff is also super kind. But the food is so good I’d probably still eat here if they weren’t.

Overall rating: 4.5 I didn’t realize this was a chain when I visited. Clean area and nice service. Not a place to sit down, but rather to go. I had the Szechuan braised beef and it is SPICY. I wasn’t prepared how spicy. On the first day, the broth just tasted like hot water. It was missing the flavor or fullness of broth. But on the second day, I added some soy and a few other Asian spices & it got so much better. Surprisingly day 2 was better than day 1. I could come back to try another, less spicy dish, if I’m in the area. Definitely more a lunch to-go spot, than anything else. Recommend giving it a try.
The service here is pretty fast and the staff is pretty efficient. I’ve had the spicy dumplings, the noodles, karaage and karaage over rice. The food here is pretty good but for me lack traditional flavors I am used ton other comparable spots. I’d still go back for lunch!

I ordered, in person pick up, schechuan braised beef noodle. The bowl is half filled with noodles. Its bland. The beef is tender, bland too. The schechuan chili sauce is really spicy. No flavor, just spice that it burned my mouth. The beef is inside the sauce. I would have thought the beef would be wirh noodles because I was searching. It wasn't till I put my spoon inside sauce container to pour over noodles that I realize meat is all the way at bottom. Its a fair amount of meat. I also ordered pork soup dumplings. Its just regular dumplings, nothing soupy about them. They were flavorless too. I would not go back. Plus it was too expensive almost $26. I could have gone to Chung Chun or Kum Kau for 1/2 the price and more food.

Food is really good, yall just need to secure the deliveries better. Twice has the soup leaked open during transit. Usually a soup order is plastic wraped shut, yall just sent the cup which is easy to crack open.
Ordered Chicken noodles from HungryPanda. After I poured in the soup, stirred for ten seconds and ready to take a bite, I saw those dirt and took the pictures. There were still so many dirt after I stirred the vege in soap. THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT WASH VEGETABLES.😅
This is the worst meal I have had in a very long time. I usually don't bother to leave bad reviews because I have worked in the service industry, and I know this can affect a business's rating, but I'm honestly APPALLED at the quality of this meal. I ordered the marinated beef bowl, pork & chive dumplings and chicken appetizer. The chicken was 100% undercooked. I took a bite into the first nugget, and it was cold and pink. The dumplings were tough but edible and slightly flavorful. The bowl, however, was the most horrendous thing I've ever encountered. The "beef" seems like low low low quality meat. Very stringy, fatty, and chewy. For a moment, I thought I'd mistakenly order chitlins or tripe because of how rubbery it was. I've had authentic chinese cuisine many times before, and i am an adventurous eater, so it's not that I'm unfamiliar with this style cuisine. This is just low quality and poorly executed food. I was excited to have this style food in the neighborhood and pumped to give it a try. I was sorely disappointed. I'm upset because I wanted to treat myself to a nice meal, and I feel like I fully wasted my money. Literally, no part of this meal was worth the money spent. I've had better food on the street in flushing. I will not be returning and would honestly like a refund. If you do choose to patronize this restaurant, please just steer clear of the items I ordered, and maybe you'll be fine. I literally attempted to pan fry the meat to salvage some part of this meal, and the meat wouldn't even brown or firm up in any way. I seriously don't understand what's going on here. To be clear, I gave the service and atmosphere an average of 3 stars because I ordered delivery and didn't interact with the staff or go in the store. They are all probably fine, kind people, and my review is only about the food.
I'm not really sure what the hype is about. The only good thing was the dumplings. Everything else was lacking. The chicken was chewy and not crispy at all. And the shumai had rice in it and was lacking something.
