This family run restaurant offered the best meal we had during our two week vacation in Piemonte Italy. The cuisine was outstanding; the service excellent. For an authentic, reasonably priced meal, get off the autostrada at the Albiano d'Ivrea exit and try this gem.

We used to come to this restaurant 20 years ago before going dancing... blessed youth. Today, passing by, we decided to return. The place has remained the same, and the food is always excellent. The waitress was kind and attentive. Fast service. Absolutely excellent price. 2 appetizers. 2 first courses. 2 desserts. Water, 1/2 cup white wine. Coffee with a touch of alcohol. €44. Like 20 years ago, I highly recommend it if you're looking for a simple place, perhaps with slightly dated furnishings, but with excellent food.

If you're visiting Cestello di Masino, feeling peckish but don't want to travel far for a typical Canavese lunch, you can't miss this specialty! A trattoria from the past, everything seems frozen in the 1980s despite the young, down-to-earth management. This small bar/trattoria will introduce you to traditional Canavese dishes: from veal with tuna sauce, to chestnuts and sautéed porcini mushrooms, from lard to mixed cured meats. Not to mention the agnolotti with tomato or butter and sage, and then finish with a cutlet or fried trout.

Good food, long wait... maybe because it was a holiday? There were two of us, we came in at 12:00 sharp and left at 2:20. We had two mixed appetizers, agnolotti with butter and sage, 1 liter of water and 1/2 liter of wine.

The food is of extremely poor quality, with a limited selection of dishes. The service is very slow, and the place needs a complete overhaul, with poor lighting inside.

Avoid, especially if you're a tourist. Hours of waiting for two dishes. Measly appetizers divided between three. Raw and burnt agnolotti, inedible. And that's it!!! All this for two hours, but above all for €30 per person, which isn't worth it (as if it were a menu), but it's clear they took advantage of tourists. This is how they kill tourism in our region!!! Never again.
