The tagamino pizzas are amazing. The first bite was an experience. Fresh, genuine and deliciously made pizza. The terrace was beautiful both times I've been there. I requested extra spianata on my pizza and it was so much I couldn't finish.

An impromptu lunch at Lakascina with two tasting menus: a trio of appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert of your choice at a great price. The Nebbiolo-braised veal cheek is highly recommended: I've never tasted more tender meat! Lemon sorbet to finish was delicious. Excellent hospitality, helpful staff, and a beautiful location with a table facing a warm wood-burning stove.

A beautiful lakeside venue that I've been frequenting for several years, and for a while it even hosted several disco nights. A very popular venue, it's essentially an old farmhouse, completely restored to its former glory, perfect for high-end dinners and aperitifs. We took advantage of a very attractive aperitif deal: for €15, you get your drink and a platter of cold cuts, cheeses, gnocco fritto, and pizza, focaccia, and farinata, which will easily fill you up. Everything was delicious, with delicious gnocco fritto and excellent cold cuts. For something different, a great, classy atmosphere at reasonable prices, far from the city. Worth a visit.

Good restaurant a stone's throw from Lake Viverone. Welcoming atmosphere, the name gives away the origins of the structure, now renovated and well-recovered, such as the area with the counter located immediately after the entrance with exposed bricks on the vault, probably once used as a shelter for animals. We were on our way home when we decided to stop at this place. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. The daily specials are fresh and with adequate portions. Unfortunately, we didn't like the service; we found it poor, and now I'll explain why. Two more tables arrived after us, one for four and one for one. Even though orders were taken on a first-come, first-served basis, they were served before us. This was unpleasant, as our wait for food was significantly longer, and we received no explanation for what had happened. However, when the bill came, we were offered a simple apology.

I hope this review can be interpreted as constructive. The setting is charming, and the service is kind and attentive. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the food. We were hungry and finished our first course and a portion of farinata. The farinata wasn't freshly made, but rather reheated, as if it were a frozen product, then reheated before serving. The same goes for the pan pizza, which we sent back, and half an hour later, another arrived, identical to the previous one, which I didn't even eat. They asked us if we'd ever eaten pan pizza, probably to justify the two gaffes. I'd like to say that we're used to eating pan pizza, and even the best ones (Pizzeria Cecchi, Pizzeria Loiero, both in Turin, etc.). The gnocchi drowned in cheese sauce were plentiful, but they didn't convince us. Maybe there's something wrong with the kitchen? We'll be back because I think something went wrong the other night, and I'd like to give this restaurant a chance, but right now I don't feel like giving it more stars. I sincerely hope the owner takes this review as constructive; I mentioned it at the beginning of this post. You have several things going for you; you can improve. Thank you.
