Very enjoyable dinner of beef tornados, followed by the cheese board. Nice list of Portuguese wines; the Heredad de São Miguel Reserva was perfect with the beef and a rich tawny port with the cheese. Both of my fellow diners had cocktails created on site, non alcoholic and alcoholic, which they raved about. Service was excellent; friendly, attentive and intelligent. We returned the next evening for risotto funghi with duck and a red wine reduction - has to be the risotto i have ever eaten!

El lugar muy bonito dentro de las instalaciones del hotel, con ambiente muy agradable y la comida muy rica. Probamos el risotto, la bruschetta de champiñones y tomate seco con parmesano, el filete de ternera al funghi porcini y el risotto de setas con castañas, pato ahumado con reducción de vino tinto. Todo nos gustó mucho. El personal muy amable y atento. Yo tengo intolerancia al gluten y me dieron todas las opciones posibles y se preocuparon en todo momento porque no hubiera problema con lo que iba a tomar.

Freue mich jetzt schon, auf ein Abendessen im Il Basilico! … Nachtrag zum Abendessen: Sichert euch durch eine frühzeitige Tischreservierung an der Hotelrezeption einen Tisch zum Abendessen auf der Terrasse (Empfehlung: Tisch 72 mit Blick auf Meer, Strand und Felsen und genießt die tolle Stimmung der von der untergehenden Sonne angestrahlten Felsen). Der Service ist selbstverständlich personenabhängig; wir hatten großes Glück und eine sehr motivierte und serviceorientierte Kellnerin, die auch noch Spaß an ihrem Job zu haben schien. Auch das Essen war toll - alles in allem ein toller Abend in einer empfehlenswerten Location!

Great food, staff was super friendly and the place looks nice and comfy. Don’t worry if you have to walk through the hotel to get to the restaurant. The food is truely amazing!!! The only thing that was a little bit too much: guests that are directly from the hotel behave differently and are, nearly all of them, extremely loud. Other guests were quiet and respctful.

We had a lovely dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea. The meal was beautifully cooked and well presented. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. Live music made the evening complete.

Ambiente und Live Musik toll, die Damen im Service frech und arrogant und haben unsere Getränke vergessen, die Herren im Service jedoch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Pizza gut, Lasagne langweilig und könnte auch aus dem Supermarkt sein, Ravioli sehr lecker aber Portion viel zu klein für den Preis, 6 Ravioli für 16€, wer soll davon satt werden ?

I had high expectations due to some youtubers and the Instagram account of the restaurant itself. Pasta was good but I had better pizza in town for less than 10euro. I’d recommend this restaurant if you’re nearby and wanna try a good italian restaurant. If you want real authentic italian food this is not it. The view is exceptional but they didn’t allow is to eat on the terrace unfortunately. Service was ok, I mean its Europe, dont expect customers service like in America. The restaurant is located IN THE HOTEL. Most customers are clients from the hotel.

Ambiente accogliente, personale veloce e attivo,ma qui essendo frequentato da molti britannici e prevista la mancia già nella ricevuta. Considerate che i prezzi sono altissimi ormai peggio di alcune località rinomate in Italia. Pizza margherita oltre i 16 euro immaginate il resto.
