Awesome wings and ribs!!
Great.
Excellent
Good service
We were at a party there. The place looked beautiful. They got food out quickly and the food was good. Desert was also wonderful .
Great food, excellent service, beautiful view of the water, and surprising low cost. I'd recommend it to anyone in the area
Cold drinks and a good view. Fun pitstop for my family and I on the way to Canada.
Great! Good food and drinks and a great place to watch the sun set. Great waitress too.
Great spot to stop for a bite, with great views of the castle and the river.
Had a nice casual meal, chit-chat it at the bar enjoyed my evening.
Great food and wonderful staff!!! Will be coming back again!

Great food excellent staff
Great place to stay for vacation.
So, on Friday and Saturday for dinner they have this grill, on the dock, by the water....... gd fn AMAZING!!!!!! WOW, I had me some char grilled crab legs, that were so good I ordered more. I came back the next day and BAM!... Delmonico and lobster. It gets better though.... wait for it..... you don't need to shell anything! I felt like Glutton Supreme ---- more clarified butter!!!!
This is a hidden gem in Alex Bay! I always make it a priority to stop here when I am camping at Wellesley Island. The atmosphere is fantastic and the views are amazing (who wouldn't want to eat and drink with Boldt Castle right across the water?)
Great service and great food! The scene from the ceiling to floor windows is amazing! You can see the whole rove and all of the island and Bolt Caslte. I would definitely recommend it!
Great spot on the water we shared wings and a burger both were really good wings were the best I have had in a long time. Will definitely return!
There was live music, delicious food, and an excellent view of Boldt castle. It is right on th river!
Attended a wedding. Service was really nice during service and at the bar. It was super pretty venue.
We had the best meal at the Pointe and cannot wait to go back! While the restaurant is pretty unassuming, do not be fooled, it does not disappoint. The service was excellent with Dan going above and beyond by educating us on the area, offering to take a family photo overlooking the water (self portrait by Dan too), and even golf carting us to our car after the meal. The food could not have been better. We had the best onion rings and the juiciest, flavor-filled grilled chicken. We even enjoyed more than a dozen clean, juicy steamed clams. The Pointe is not to be overlooked!

This was such a great hidden gem for us! We're so happy we stumbled upon it. We can't thank Chef Brad enough for his wonderful hospitality and his genuine way of making you feel welcome. Our server, Shawn, was also incredible! Both of them really made our visit special. We can't say enough about the amazing food! We had the surf and turf, fresh walleye, and king crab legs. We didn't leave there hungry! We definitely recommend this place for your next visit to Abay... you won't be disappointed! We look forward to our next trip back. Thanks again, Brad!! Such a great chef!!!!!
The food was pretty darn good for a bar and grill. Zacharias was an excellent waiter. We had a great time and to be honest the view is absolutely the best in town,it's not even close. Little off the beaten path but worth it.
Everyone is friendly the food is great and the view is awesome of the Saint Lawrence River and Hart Island
Haven't been here in years, it was good to see the place. Great location on the water, unusual back back wall. Most importantly great bartender, she served us quickly and was great to talk to.
I had the best margarita in NY here. Also asked for a random drink and got one of the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere. The food was amazing. Ask for Matt and Kim if you’re looking for amazing drinks!!! Both were great!

Beautiful view and great outdoor seating. Loved the prime rib sandwich and Sunday night wings.
Good breakfast buffet and great view. Burgers at riverview sports bar were good.
Great citrus haddock, view and service.
This place is straight out of 1985, but it has beautiful views. The buffet was $11.95 and included scrambled eggs (that were surprisingly good for a buffet), bacon, sausage, muffins, pastries, cereal, toast, pancakes, and a bowl of real fruit (not the canned stuff in syrup). It did not have an omelette station. The service was top notch.

Unfortunately we were there on and "off" night. It was windy and a bit rainy so they couldn't have the grills going. We were also disappointed because the night before (a Friday) the restaurant had great party music playing and Saturday night was dead. Nevertheless, the food was fabulous and still a very fun atmosphere!

Friendly staff but for the price there was no continental breakfast, the shower was scalding then cold and the floors need to be sealed . The maids did a great job cleaning but the floors were filthy, otherwise very clean
Went for Easter brunch yesterday. Was not to impressed. Kept running out of food. And a small selection.
Long time waiting 4 meal. BROILEDFISH WAS DRY & OVERCOOKED. SWEET WAITRESS
Amazing band Double V
Service was so slow! They totally ignored us for 25 minutes. Service was terrible and food was only so so.
Waited 45 minutes for food for half of it to be cold
Attempted to go here - very confusing
Good service, weird layout
As buffets go it is lacking everything from food to service. Breakfast brunches usually have more than watermelon for fruit. The other foods were not that tasty nor plentiful. Service was lacking. There were a bunch of kids with no apparent supervision. All in all not a pleasant experience.
My husband and I were one of two tables with guests in the restaurant. Our appetizer came quickly and was good, but our meals were incredibly lacking. My husband ordered his $34 steak medium well and it was raw in the middle, and his potatoes and vegetables were cold. The waitress disappeared for at least a half hour - maybe closer to 45 minutes so that he couldn't say anything even if he wanted to. By the time she came back to the table we had our coats on and were ready to leave. It was a really disappointing visit.
We’ visited the Pointe 3 times this 2024 river season. All three times the web site told us they were open. Only one time they were open. Please take the time to update your FB page. We all realize this is a seasonal location and if you could post your dates and times of operation it would be appreciated.

went there ordered fries with cheese....never got my order...they refunded me with fries..however no cheese...i was blown off for no cheeese...i felt like i didnt matter and it sucked
Service was terrible bartenders don’t serve the whole bar waiting 30 minutes for drink 1 server doing boats plus tables no music when it said 5 8
Dining room and view were perfect as always. Wait staff affable as can be. Wife decided on a Chicken Cordon Bleu, when it came it was something else. A deep fried chicken cutlet, laid a lunch size piece of ham on it and covered that with swiss cheese and melted it. Never would expect that from a resort dining room.
May have been the worse food served in a large restaurant attached to a hotel we have stayed at
The food took forever and portions were terrible. Service was below mid as well. Don’t go
I don't know what to say... I seriously DO NOT recommend this place. Waited 15 mins at the door even to talk with someone, then had to wait an hour to be seated. Finally got seated, got a menu, then another menu that was for the outdoor grill, no drink menu... The special of the night was crab legs that were freezer burnt from the freezer straight to the grill. When served it was room temp on the outside cold on the inside. The "butter" was some oily disgusting substance in a bottle. I spent about an hour throwing up the vomit comet that was supposed to be seafood later that night. Drinks where okay, the view was nice, but now that I know what kind of food they are serving, I'll gladly walk the distance to "downtown" over the convenience that this place was. I should mention the waitress was really nice and the band they had had some nice music... But still crab legs coming back out quickly kills my idea of wanting to ever go back.
Can only comment on drinks and wow are they overpriced. Went there for afternoon drinks and two margaritas in small solo cups and a tap beer were $28. Enough said. Cool atmosphere.
If I could give this restaurant a 0 I would. This was the worst experience I have ever had. After spending the weekend in Abay for a bachelorette party, we decided to go to the manor for dinner. We made a reservation for 8 people. We waited for about 10 minutes to even be sat. There were approximately 8 tables in the entire restaurant, but the atmosphere was nice and that’s exactly what we were looking for. The menu sounded great. After waiting about 25 minutes for our server to even come over and introduce her self, I proceeded to ask a question about the flank steak salad. She said “I’m not sure what kind of dressing comes on it, I’ve never served one”. I thought it was a strange response but figured she was new. We proceeded to put in our entire purses as we were all hungry and had been waiting. After an hour and fifteen minutes I asked if our food was almost ready. Rudely our server replied “well we’re busy so I don’t know”. There were 8 tables. 8. Ten minutes later she asked me what dressing I wanted on my salad, although I previously had asked what type came on the salad. 20 minutes later our food was delivered. Thank god for the bus girl who so politely brought us 4 baskets of bread! One bite into my flank steak and I immediately spit it out. Not only was it freezer burnt, but it wasn’t cooked, despite the color. It was honestly the most disgusting thing I could have imagined. I flagged down the server and my friend and I sent back our food. Our server was clearly upset as she rolled her eyes, huffed, and did not offer to have it remade or offer another option. I figured the manager would come over and offer, however, I waited and waited, and nothing. After everyone in my party had finished their mediocre, at best, meals, we again flagged down the server. She could not separate checks and there was an issue for us putting down separate cards, so we all paid cash. This was brought to us by the attention of the manager, who never introduced herself OR Mentioned anything about the horrific food or wait. After paying, I asked the bus girl who the manager wS and went up to Nancy to express my anger and disappointment with the entire experience here. She stood there with a nasty look on her face, took her glasses off as I finished and started to say “I appreciate you telling me but...” I cut Her off and walked away. As someone who has worked in hospitality for over 12 years and who currently manages 2 restaurants, I would be appalled if any of my staff acted the way the server and manager did and let a cook send out disgusting food. I would recommend avoiding this place as eating off the floor in the middle of uncle sams boats would have been a much better experience than being here.
POOR service! Was told to sit where we want. Two party's sat down after we did, had menu's and drinks before we were recognized. Then after my girlfriend stared at the waitress with a unhappy look we got menu's. Another waitress came, took a drink and dinner order (no mention of prime rib special or the Valentine day special that the other tables were offered) never asked if we wanted another drink or even desert. Too bad, but we won't be back.
Horrible experience. The food is disgusting and the service is so bad its laughable... if you aren't starving because it takes close to 2 hours to get your food. Terribly managed. Sad because of the pretty views and the interesting interior. I should have looked at the reviews... they are right. DO not go to the restaurant. I still get upset and have nightmares over it.
9/11/25 my mother was physically assaulted by the bartender here. They were here dining at the Manor House restaurant. After waiting 45 minutes for salad to come out they got frustrated and asked what the delay was. The server brought the bartender out who proceeded to yell and film them(my mother and friends). For simply asking what’s taking 45 minutes for salad to come out? My mother asked them not to film them and the bartender grabbed my mother by the neck and hit her head on the wall. WHAT THE HELL?? What planet is this?
Great drinks... mediocre food. Music was too loud to talk. Wasn't given an itemized bill at end and we were defiantly overcharged. Waitress would not provide one when asked. Will not be back.
