One of the best bahn mi sandwiches I've had in a long time. I'm sad to have only discovered them recently, it puts the cold cut bahn mi's in the San Gabriel valley to shame! They make the bread, which has a crusty exterior and pillowy soft interior, the way of a perfect Vietnamese baguette. Cold cuts are cut thick, allowing you to enjoy all the different textures ham, headcheese and Vietnamese ham have to offer. There is so much umami and peppery goodness in the meat. The house pickled vegetables have crunch and pleasant sweetness and acidity, while the jalapeno and fresh cilantro lend balance with a piquant, spicy, herbaceousness. And the mayo and pate! Nothing else could add a more perfect unctuousness that that pairing. This is a cold cut Vietnamese sandwich to end all Vietnamese sandwiches. Did I mention you can make this hefty sandwich a combo for $2 more and you get a drink AND slice of cake? Come on. I'll see you soon, dear KG Bakery, we gave to make up for lost time. 😘

It’s a wonderful place with 5-star coffee ($4) plus peaceful outdoor seating with water feature where small birds come to drink, spirit house and wind chime.

I tasted food at this Vietnamese Bakery for the first time in December 2024, when i was visiting my son in LA. I had ordered their vegan spare ribs Bahn Mi sandwich and the yan yin drink . I was floored by the Bahn me , crunchy bread, juicy and flavourful filling, and fresh salad. The taste lingered on . So today , I could visit again during lunch time, … the ambience is lovely , well lit , clean, cheerful. there is adequate seating outdoor, Parking available , which is so convenient. Service is superb, the girl at the counter is very sweet and welcoming , guides you as per your requirement, Today I repeated my order and its a ten on ten , the Dpare ribs Bahn Mi and Vietnamese cold coffee was also good. Will visit again if I get the opportunity. It’s a Hidden Gem in LA ❤️

If you are in the area of Echo Park, then you have to stop by for their fresh crunchy banh mi sandwich and a cake of any kind💖 first time here since I was working in the area and needed a break. The service was attentive, kind and fast. The menu simple and delicious. I only got a pic of the cake because I already ate the sandwich. The private patio is clean and cute, AND they have parking!

Not only do they have three vegetarian sandwich options (veg pork, veg short ribs, and veg chicken patty), they are super affordable for the area AND delicious! $7 for one and $9 for a combo that includes a drink and a dessert made on-site. COVID protocols are stated and followed, and the staff is friendly- this is my favorite spot in Echo Park.

Haven't used this place until recently. Got a cake for sons birthday. The cost was about $65 for the cake which he loved and I thought was decorated well. The cake tasted great. The parking lot can be small as lots of people were coming in on Saturday morning at 945am. I can't comment on the rest of their pastries, but if they are as good as this cake, then enjoy.

Freshly baked crusty bread with all the fixing. accompanied with an amazing Vietnamese coffee, & all for a very reasonable price! I also love the staff & their desert slices. If you’re local and are in search of Vietnamese baked goods or bahn mi this is the place! It was a pleasant surprise knowing we have a Vietnamese bakery near our home and don’t have to make the drive to Orange County for cravings. We purchased a bahn tet and other lunar year goodies which were both delicious! Looking forward to picking up bahn mi on our way to Dodgers games this season! Highly recommended with a friendly staff!

I ordered the turkey and cheese croissant, which was absolutely delicious—especially with the pickled carrots and radish that gave it a banh mi twist. I got the combo, which came with a dessert and a drink. The guava and cheese pastry was amazing—flaky, sweet, and perfectly balanced. I also tried the green Thai tea and loved it. Everything was reasonably priced, and the portions were generous. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and craving something flavorful and fresh!

My favorite things to order are banh mi with grilled pork or nem (the bread is so good), pork summer rolls, meat pie, pandan honeycomb cake, sesame balls, strawberry strudel, Vietnamese iced coffee and green Thai tea! They have a lot of seating and they’re also dog friendly :)
