I really love coming here. Unless there are idiots in there starting drama which you will get at any bar. Out if any bars I've ever been to, this one is probably my favorite. Plus the mini tacos are yummy so that's an added bonus! Haha

Always an awesome experience going over to Randy’s. We especially enjoy Thursday night steak nights on the patio. The staff is so friendly and very much on top of things. Food is always perfect. Just wish you would have a little sweet dessert to cap off the meal.

Oh YEA ! Totally SATISFIED. With we find fault - complain - NEVER happy American's...RANDY'S - ALLEGANY, NY is quite the opposite.... Our choice was made real easy on a one-night vacay to OLEAN, NY. We called 4 (four) recommended taverns and hands down the WINNER - RANDY'S. WHY ??? BRANDY (with a "Y")..."BRANDY" and NOT the beverage, "BRANDY": inviting - cordial - pleasant - "WELCOMING" - personable - and CARING !!! "BRANDY" not only answered the phone but she bartended and she sure did "tend the bar" and ALL of its patrons...NEVER once a frown but a smile and ALWAYS a "Thank YOU" to whomever she was serving !! The beer cold - clean - fresh...the food: our "beef on weck" , wings, AND fries hot and delicious!! The owner, "RANDY" himself even came out to thank us for our nearly one hundred mile get-a-way AND appreciated our business....Now, that IS different!! This place is amazing! Great atmosphere! Jeanette is the best waitress/bartender/hostess! She treats you like your family and knows her stuff! Food is fantastic no matter what you order! Good portion size with great prices! We love this place!

I was in a large group people, 20 to be exact, and we overwhelmed the 2 waitress's serving us but they did a great job with taking care of such a large party. They have a patio out back and that's where we were seated it was a nice environment for a group of outdoor enthusiasts and the food was absolutely delicious!

Absolutely fantastic crab cake sandwich. Our server brought me both tartar and cocktail sauces. A little tartar on the cakes and dipped their tasty fries in the cocktail sauce.

Great place for wings and other bar foods. They also offer dinner entries and a great steak dinner on Thursdays. If you are a trivia fan, stop in Wednesday night! Also have a great beer selection.

Randy's up the River Tavern is more than just a bar it is a family-friendly eating establishment. In the summer months you can sit out on the back deck and enjoy the Cool Breeze. In the winter you can sit in by the fireplace to keep warm. And while doing that you can enjoy good spirits and awesome food. In the wait staff will welcome you with a smile and great service. I highly recommend you swing by Randy's up the river in Allegany New York next time you come passing through.

We drove 2 hours from PA to spend the day at the casino. Wanted somewhere small for lunch. The wings and French onion soup were delicious!

Had dinner there Saturday August 10th. Had the grilled shrimp with the grilled veggies (as recommended by Tony) it was super super good. Just finished up the extra/carry out shrimp tonight as snack - still wonderfully tasty. Definitely Recommend

Nice place to stop for a drink and lunch. Clam strips were delicious. Rum & coke was tall. Vanilla porter was even better.

Everything was delicious! Alcohol in general was a bit expensive but to be expected. Our waitress was nice and attentive. we went in at about 2pm and their wasn't many people. I had the Nacho Hamburgeresa and we'd definitely come again.

This week was my second time visiting from out of state to this area, I drove over an hour out of my way to get to eat their hot wings again and to finally let my fiancé get to experience their hotter than h*** wings because they are absolutely as amazing as I remembered from when I first visited a few years ago. I hope they are around a long while longer because at dinner my fiancé said two statements I hope we get to hold true he said “we’re being our future kids here” and also “we have to come up here every time we are close to New York” but also more importantly I gotta figure out their secret to making such flavorful and also spicy wings. 100% I’ll be back again and again despite it being states away from me.

Ate dinner out on the patio listening to some great music. Wonderful atmosphere, great service and the food is amazing. We had the Philly burger with Philly fries and they were delicious!

Had a killer BLT here on the tail-end of a way Too Long road trip. It healed my soul to be so well taken care of. Waitstaff was so apologetic for the “long wait” but they still brought us fresh fries immediately. True champions, and the fried fish sandwich was also a banger, for the record.

Normally 5 stars because the food is great but tonight service was not great. Everything was well prepared and came quickly but it felt like our waitress really wanted us out of there. Even my BF’ who is oblivious to such things, even made a comment. The place was not busy we were the only people seated in the dining area at the time. I actually felt bad and left a $15 tip on a $40 meal. In return when asked for a refill on my tea I received half a glass. Guess she didn’t want us hanging out. Young guy hosting/busing did a great job. Thanked us for coming in...again BF who normally notices nothing observed that no one ever said that before (on average we stop by maybe once a month). Tip: have your host train that young waitress. UPDATE. Because we love it there we have been back a couple times. Food and service spectacular.

Stop in for some great food and drnks!!! You'll be pleasantly surprised.

I got the clam strips and french fry basket. Clams were cooked perfectly, fries were perfect. Very generous amount of everything. Server was so nice! Didn't get her name though! Hubby had the chicken BBQ meal. He said coleslaw and baked beans were good. Chicken was so moist! Very delicious. Salt potatoes were soft, moist and perfectly seasoned. So glad we came across this place! Definitely underrated!

Came in at 11:30 expecting the kitchen to be closed, the friendly owners noticed me, asked if I'd be getting food, sat me, the food is phenomenal they have daily specials it seems and the atmosphere is rustic yet phenomenal, I'll definitely be here any time I'm in Olean!!!!!

First time trying this place. Small and corner bar type place. Nothing fancy but the service was very fast and friendly even though the bar was quite busy.. We ordered food to go and it was excellent.

The servers name who is Matt was awesome, polite and funny. My friends and I had fun, and the food was delicious; and they took my friends food allergy seriously. Would eat here again.

Randomly chose this place for lunch. It was amazing! One of the best burgers I've ever had. Creative stuff on the menu (that works great) and an open patio to enjoy it on. Loved it!

Awesome!! All around great place! I was staying in a hotel in Salamanca right by the Seneca Allegheny casino. It was after 9:00 on a Sunday and every restaurant is closed This place is open every single day 365 days a year and the kitchen's open till midnight every night. Great food as well I had a steak with what they called salt potatoes and it came with a salad it was fantastic. They also have what is called a King Kong and if you zoom in on my picture you'll see how insane it is. The server told me that she had an 11-year-old kid almost finish it lol

My date had the queen cut prime rib, which she said was delicious. I opted for their chicken wings and was able to get five wings each in two different sauces, which was a nice option. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable.And I will certainly go back.

I had the crab cakes (2) dinner, excellent and very little or no filler. Husband had the clam strips, also good. Couple with us had the goulash (day's special) and taco salad, both were good and plentiful. Felt their prices were quite reasonably.

The prices are very reasonable as well. There were so many things on the menu we wanted to try so we will be back.

Went to Randy's last night for dinner and trivia. Walked in sat at the bar and our bartender was lovely. She let us try samples of craft beer and recommended some different food items. I got the tacos which were 2/$3. They were quite good. Choose a craft beer to drink and waited for trivia. Trivia started around 8:45 and moved quickly. There is 5 rounds of 5 questions each on a specific topic then 1 final jeopardy question to determine the winner. Host was a bladt and me and my girlfriend total enjoyed it! We didn't win but we will be back to give it another go. Cheers!

Great food with a really creative menu, nice place.

They are known for their wings, large variety of specialty burgers, football games, and fries. The burgers and fries will blow you away. The Philly burger was mouth watering good and savory. The ranch is thick, creamy, and perfectly tangy. I wasn't the biggest fan of the butterfly shrimp though. Aside from that the food, service,multiple games broadcast, staff, cleanliness, prices, and speed of service were impressive. I'll gladly come again.

I give them 4 stars because they have great steaks and great wings but the service lacks a little and I ordered fried chicken once that was so over cooked that I couldn't break through the batter with my fork. Also that same visit I ordered an appetizer and when they brought my entree before my app I told the waitress to cancel the appetizer, and her response was, " Oh honey, if u haven't gotten it by now ur not gonna!" I was shocked! But the steaks and wings are excellent!

It was a nice establishment. The waitresses were super nice and accommodating for the large group that I and a team of Roller Derby Girls sprung on them. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, but it did take a long time for it to come out. I'd definitely visit here again.

I love Randy's food!!! I always get a good meal at Randy's!!! It could be a little bit cleaner at times in the bathroom and around the floors and the tables. Otherwise I definitely recommend Randy's. I definitely would go back to eat there, especially for their food!!! Their chicken wings are one if the BEST around 😋

Great local bar with a family home feel . Always need to stop at Randys when in the area . There us always a great good special and the drinks are always cold. We went on a Friday and had the lemon pepper broiled fish fry , which was one of the best I've ever had and these onion ring are the absolute best in the world . The service was spectacular. This is a red neck bar, with great drinks and better service. Definitely do not pass up a chance to visit here. My bartender, Jeanette was terrific!! Visit here, for a drink and ask for Jeanette or Cheyenne. You will enjoy your visit!

Fish Fry itself was great. Waited forever to get it. Messed up our orders, I never did get the coleslaw that I ordered with my fish. Other groups who came in after us, ate and left before we even got our meal.

Had my first poor experience at The River in over 16 years handed to me by a little brunette that was too busy talking to her co-workers instead of serving her customers. I can't even count the number of hours I have served Randy with refrigeration, heating, and cooling work and not stopping until the job was done right. The food tonight was spot on as usual but the service was what I would expect from Burger King...get them in and get them out. Server never checked on us to ask how it was or refill drinks. I was totally prepared to have a fun time and enjoy shots throughout the evening...it didn't happen. Randy lost an easy customer. In the end, I walked through the side door of the kitchen like I have so many times to work on their reefers and tipped the kitchen staff instead of my server.

Bartender wouldn't do a tab, because "it was to busy". It was steady, but not to busy for a tab. Tabs are a lot easier then ringing up each order. It's not as busy as some other bars around. Also the bottles were dirty, so the coolers much need cleaned. Great food and drinks at good prices. Just wish service was better and cleaner bottles

Ordered garlic Parm chicken wings to go and did not have any sauce of any kind. Very over cooked ...the chicken skin shattered. Check the orders please before you sell them.

The wings were big but not huge. I requested them well done and they were fatty and not the way I like them. My daughter and I ordered ahead of time to save time but they only had one waitress for all the tables. Enough said, sorry but I won’t be going back.

My girlfriend and I were able to put our orders in before a 11 top party put there’s in and we waited an hour and twenty minutes for 15 chicken wings and a fried chicken special they had going for a Saturday night. I’ve had the same problem at Randy’s Fireside and the same issue happened twice in a row where the staff had cut our order down to be cheaper. I’m very aware it’s a blessing they do that for us but I’d rather pay full price for food and good and fast service than pay cheaper price for a dinner that took 2 and a half hours. Randy if you see this, fix your restaurants

My mother and I ate at Randy’s Riverside on a Normal Saturday. We both got steak and salad. After we ate our salad we had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for out steak to come out. It was undercooked and very hard to chew. I spent at least 2 minutes chewing on one piece of steak but was not able to swallow it because it was still one solid shape. Won’t be coming back

My chicken was raw. The cook came out, her hands were filthy. Never again. Awful. Her name was Sheri Gradel.

Very disappointed in the service I received today. We took our friend out for his birthday dinner and waited nearly 2 hours for our food. The employees were arguing, making it a hostile work environment in front of customers. My food was cold, and other members of my party didn’t receive the correct order. No compensation was given for the price of our meal in relation to the poor service we received. I am very disappointed in today's service. I always look forward to going to Randy’s for a meal, but the service was so unbelievably bad I will not be returning.

Went on a memorial bike run. Staff friendly. However we heard WAY TOO many excuses of WHY they were understaffed for a big event! After waiting an 1.5 hrs to be served, we left! Staff REPEATEDLY put TO GO orders before dining room orders! Then waiter got an attitude when we asked where our food was! When I go out, spend $$, I Don't expect an mouth on my server telling me: cook dropped your ticket, um, too many people, understaffed, ect. Either staff accordingly for big event OR say No. Probably never go back. Food looked good that we saw! Just never got any!!!!

Tried this restaurant again and still not impressed.

Waited almost a half hour for waitress to take our order. Another 45 minutes to get food. My burger was OK, wife's BBQ chicken was without BBQ and did not look like it was done and missing sides. Overall service was poor, food a little better than poor. Would NOT recommend eating there.

Took an hour to get my food. Food wound up being cold. Waitress never came back to see if we needed anything even though she had a clear view of us from the bar. Waited another 30 minutes for the bill, which they never brought. I had to wait at the bar to get my bill. All 3 bartenders totally ignored me more then once. I had to flag one of them down to get my bill. Not happy at all with the service or the food. Will not be back

We ordered take out from Randy's Up the River last night. On the phone we were told 20-25 minutes, so we decided to just go and wait at the establishment. 45 minutes later, one of the bartenders came out telling us our food was done, but they ran out of salt potatoes to go with my 1/2 barbeque chicken dinner, so she gave me a choice of potato. Ten minutes later our food finally came out. While the bartender was ringing us up, we decided to check our food and make sure it was right. My dinner was missing two sides. When the bartender came back I was polite about letting her know my dinner was incomplete and she told me they only do rolls and butter on Thurs- Saturdays. Like what? What about my beans? I asked her why I was paying full price for the same meal on the menu, but it was missing two sides. She started getting a little attitude with me and told me she would see if they could grab me a piece of bread, and she sped off towards the kitchen. Quite some time later, she came back with the tiniest roll and a little container of macaroni salad, which she said they were supposed to be giving that out with the meal instead of the other sides. UPDATE YOUR MENU IF YOU DON'T HAVE THINGS AVAILABLE, OR IF THEY ARE ONLY AVAILABLE ON CERTAIN DAYS. OR AT LEAST TELL CUSTOMERS OVER THE PHONE WHEN THEY ARE ORDERING. ALSO, DON'T TELL CUSTOMERS AN ESTIMATED TIME AND THEN TAKE TWICE AS LONG. Say "we are a bit busy right now, it could even take up to an hour," or something along those lines. My boyfriend said his steak sub was the worst he's ever had. The bun wasn't toasted, the steak was overcooked, there was hardly any dressing on it, and some of the potato chips were undercooked. Poor service, poor food, way overpriced for what you get. Will not be returning.

Waitress was nice. Wings and French fries overcooked. And the chicken quesadilla was not edible. Then they charged us a fee to use our credit card!

I told them to cook the burgers well done. They refused and it made me sick to the throat and stomach.
