For over a decade, we've been loyal customers of this place, and honestly, it remains one of those spots that wins you over with its authenticity and consistency. Over the years, I've tried countless similar businesses—all with good intentions and some interesting offerings—but I inevitably end up coming back here. And it's not out of habit, but simply because I haven't found another place that matches this balance of flavor, presentation, price, and service. The trip I make to get here is completely worth it. From the moment you approach the restaurant, you sense its simple yet clean atmosphere, with that characteristic aroma that whets your appetite. The dishes are a delight: the crispy, perfectly golden flautas, the generously portioned sopes, the generously filled gorditas, the potatoes as a side dish, and the ever-present roasted chiles. Everything has an authentic, traditional flavor, made with care and love, as if each dish were prepared for a family that will return again and again. Furthermore, the prices are truly affordable, something that's much appreciated these days when the quality remains so high. The only minor detail I could mention—and I say this more as an observation than a criticism—is that they only accept cash or bank transfers. However, this doesn't detract from the experience or my desire to return; when a place offers so much in flavor and service, those kinds of details simply become secondary. In short, Tacos y Antojitos Allende is one of those places you gladly recommend because it keeps the essence of traditional Mexican food alive, with the same warmth and flavor you've come to expect. A place that doesn't disappoint, and one I'll return to as often as possible.

Arriving hungry at this place is like arriving in heaven!! They serve you super fast and everything is delicious, highly recommended the 8-piece mixed plate so you can try everything: sopes, flautas, tacos dorados and gorditas of stews, and as for stews you can't miss the chicharrón in green sauce, the roast pork and the desbebrada... Finger-licking good!! 🤤😋🤤😋🤌

The Mexican snacks are delicious. The gentlemen are always super attentive and now that they offer home delivery, it's much more convenient. I love everything they offer. One of my favorite places to dine. My whole family really likes it. Highly recommended.

What they prepare is very tasty without a doubt, but it takes a little while to serve you and the place needs to be renovated or at least have a bigger space because there are few tables.

Rich antonyms, well-served enchiladas, although the red chile is cooked with bay leaves, which gives it more of a southern than a northern flavor. Delicious potatoes and carrots browned in lard. Delicious.
