Over the years, I've tried countless similar businesses—all with good intentions and some interesting offerings—but I inevitably end up coming back here. And it's not out of habit, but simply because I haven't found another place that matches this balance of flavor, presentation, price, and service. The trip I make to get here is completely worth it. From the moment you approach the restaurant, you sense its simple yet clean atmosphere, with that characteristic aroma that whets your appetite. The dishes are a delight: the crispy, perfectly golden flautas, the generously portioned sopes, the generously filled gorditas, the potatoes as a side dish, and the ever-present roasted chiles. Everything has an authentic, traditional flavor, made with care and love, as if each dish were prepared for a family that will return again and again. Furthermore, the prices are truly affordable, something that's much appreciated these days when the quality remains so high. The only minor detail I could mention—and I say this more as an observation than a criticism—is that they only accept cash or bank transfers. However, this doesn't detract from the experience or my desire to return; when a place offers so much in flavor and service, those kinds of details simply become secondary. In short, Tacos y Antojitos Allende is one of those places you gladly recommend because it keeps the essence of traditional Mexican food alive, with the same warmth and flavor you've come to expect. A place that doesn't disappoint, and one I'll return to as often as possible.

Arriving hungry at this place is like arriving in heaven!! It's good to buy there occasionally since the enchiladas and gorditas are very tasty. The only problem is the food delivery time. The last time I went (September 17, 2020), it took them a little over two hours to deliver my food. From what I could tell, they have very few staff members, consisting of three women, only two of whom were in charge of preparing the food while the other just added lettuce and cheese to the dishes, plus a young man packing, that is, when they weren't assigning him to do something else. In short, good food and very poor organization, but I'll still go back.

The place leaves much to be desired; it lacks ventilation because at times it fills with the smell of oil and food. The prices are affordable. The seasoning is what saves this restaurant. The location is good, across from the church and the park.

Fellow Chiapas residents, if you ever come to San Nicolás de los Garza, prepare yourselves because you're going to miss our antojitos. Honestly, I didn't like dinner at all. I ordered enchiladas, zopes, and tacos.

They weren't the best I've ever had, and expensive for the portions they serve. The tacos were quite disappointing, and the sopes... well, the fillings were okay. The enchiladas were excessively greasy, and they took a long time to bring our food even though there were only two tables occupied.
