Amazing place, superior service, as in very friendly and personable and helpful to tourists like us. Generous portion of fries and drinks were normal priced for cans.. Their large fries must be Enormous Haha we didn't go there this time that size, but maybe share with 2 people would work! We'll be back

The best fish tacos I've ever had. They grill the fish instead of deep fry and all the topping are fresh. Highly recommend.

The food is really good. I love Cuban sandwiches and they're not easy to find, so having this guy live a minute away from my parents' house has prompted me to visit more often ;-)

We came with 7 children and the man working (who I assume is the owner) was so kind and brought all the kids a juice box! (Free, I might add) Not to mention that the food and service was wonderful! Honestly can’t recommend enough. We will be back! Often.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the service very friendly. While we did wish the Cuban sandwich had a bit more to it, for the price we really couldn't complain.

So this place was amazing. Truly delicious. Every bite was a flavour experiece and I couldnt tell you what I prefered, the tacos oe the cuban bowl. Both were fantastic.

Fantastic fries, and the Cuban sandwiches are great. Would be better with different pickles though, not a big fan of bread and butter pickles, would prefer dill.

The fish tacos brought me back to South Beach, Miami! Gourmet quality without the gourmet prices. We’ll definitely be back!

The Cuban Mix is a great little food truck to get lunch when in the area of Mill of Kintail. The Cuban Sandwiches were amazing and the fries were crisp and hot! Highly recommended!!

This is my favorite truck to stop with my daughter she absolutely loves the fish 🌮 and I have yet to find anything on the menu I don't want more of ! Only down side here is that they can't be oppen year round !

People complaining about the size of the meal need to get a grip on reality and also eat less. 1. The meals average about $10 / 2. The portions ARE reasonable. Friendly owner, and great atmosphere too. Highly recommend!

Would highly recommend if looking for something with some variety. This is now our third time trying this lovely little spot. While I plan to one day try everything, I absolutely LOVE their fish tacos. Their Cuban Sandwich was amazing as well. The staff is friendly, polite and super upbeat. I do miss their picnic tables as eating tacos on your lap in the car is a disaster. Looking forward to trying out their Quesadillas and fajitas next time (hopefully with somewhere to sit and enjoy them)!

I just moved to Almonte and my Mom and I decided to try this place out after half a day of setting up stuff in my new place. I'm a big fan of Cubano sandwiches so that's what I tried and it was the best one of those I've ever had. Dense and delicious and filled me up for the rest of the day. My Mom had never tried one and she loved it as well. The fries were a bit bland and could have used some seasoning but they were still quite good and everything was served up piping hot and clearly fresh. The prices were very reasonable and they take plastic, which I very much appreciate. I'll definitely be going back here!

Definitely one of the best food trucks in the area! Their cuban sandwich is delicious and the fish tacos are the best I've had (and they're actually 2 good sized wraps instead of 2 little taco shells). I've tried most things on the menu and am never disappointed.

Our first time trying out this place and we were not disappointed. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty - we tried the fajitas and the quesadillas and are looking forward to checking out the fish tacos and Cuban sandwich next time. What really stood out was how incredibly friendly the workers were. Highly recommend

Chicken Cuban Bowl. Very tasty and staff were nice! The rice at the bottom was a tad bit bland and could have been drained a bit more, but really fresh ingredients and the seasoned chicken were awesome!

Customer service was amazing! Really nice, down to earth guys. Cuban Bowl was delicious, as was the burger! Only miss was the poutine gravy! Could've been more flavorful!

Decent prices and great portions for most items. They take debit and have a pretty varied menu with quesadillas, tacos, cuban sandwich or bowl, along with the usual burgers and poutine.

Good place to drop by for a casual meal. We had the Cuban sandwich meal which was very good. We drop by here after doing the River walk at Old town hall of Almonte

Friendly, fast service. Food was hot and fresh. We tried the Cuban sandwich, Veggie burger, Cuban bowl and a Poutine and were pleased with all. This will become a regular stop through the summer!

Got Cuban sandwich with fries for $10 plus a beef and onion and fajita for others. Cuban was very decent but I worked in Miami for a few months on a project and the local sandwich shop had an excellent Cuban with roast pork loin, ham, picles, etc.. so I am a tad picky about my Cuban sandwiches and would put this as decent but not the best one I have ever tasted (in Miami). Menu prices seemed to have gone up 15-20% from posted photos but still reasonable.

Hours need to be updated on Google to show that you are now closed for the season. Good food, but small portions of meat on the Cuban sandwich. Hopefully the portions will increase now that it's under new management! Really good poutine, but the odd time my fries have been undercooked. Will be back!

Went today on our visit to Almonte. We got the smoked meat sandwich with a poutine side as well as the Cuban Bowl. Unfortunately, I wanted to try the Cuban Sandwich but I couldn’t eat mustard so asked for none, and they said it was pre-mixed into the meats. Here are my thoughts: *Smoked meat sandwich was delicious on this type of bun, better than normal soggy rye (I usually get my rye toasted) - BUT they need DOUBLE the meat on this sandwich. As the bun was about 90% & the meat was about 10%. Smoked meat sandwiches are usually 80% meat and stacked high! *Fries could have either been cooked a little longer or weren’t double fried like most chip trucks. They were flavourful but a little underdone and not quite the crispy-fluffy fries should be. The hot gravy was delicious, thick and a medium colour & they use real curds! *The Cuban Bowl was also tasty, but a little smaller than expected at $10 - light on the meat & light on the beans. This place has lots of parking, lovely picnic area, and even a porta potty. They could level up their items a little and I would definitely return. But, for now - the taste was good but it just didn’t wow me enough to not try the other trucks in the area first.

Chicken Cuban bowl, needed a bit more zip so added red onions, salt, lime juice. Not a large portion of chicken. Was at the end of the day so maybe just poor timing. The lady working the cash deserves a raise!

Not as spicy as I would of liked but the fish bowl was tasty.

I love Cuban sandwiches. This was an ok Cuban sandwich. Not enough pickles or meat. The fries were excellent. I might come back but wouldn’t order the Cuban sandwich again.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We both got the cuban sandwich with a side of poutine. The sandwich was much smaller than expected, had literally one small slice of ham, a few shreds of pulled pork, and only a few pickles. The mustard and bread were fine. The poutine was average with the standard ontario-style gravy. There is no way this meal should cost $16. The only way to justify the price is if they quadrupled the amount of meat and doubled the pickles. Sorry, won't be back.

Got a Cuban sandwich and a smoked meat sandwich, both were lack luster. One piece of meat on each sandwich, mostly eating bread. Fries were good.

UPDATE YOUR HOURS SO PEOPLE DON’T DRIVE 30 MINUTES TO GET YOUR FOOD ONLY TO FIND YOU CLOSED

The decline is disappointing. The cuban sandwich is now half of the size and only a quarter of the fries size portion. Questionable is also the cleanliness of this trailer.

Used to be a regular every weekend until the staff changed so much that the quality of food no longer meets with the expectations I have service is terrible compared to how it used to be and food is nowhere near as good as it used to be no longer eat here as a result very sad and disappointed wish I could say I want to eat here like I used to

Ordered 2 Cuban bowls and Cuban sandwich, the food had no flavour will not be going back very disappointing

Called and the phone message says open Monday to Friday rain or shine..but it's been closed every time I try to visit.

Sorry to say but we were soooo disappointed with our meal tonight. We ordered the Fish Taco and Cuban sandwich. The fish portion for each taco was as big as my pointer finger with a tasty salad type addition. The Cuban had a few shavings about half inch long at the top of the bun and the bottom of the bun and nothing in the middle. We could literally count the amount of meat strips on the sandwich. The fries tasted awful and I'm guessing because they were cooked in old oil. We will not be back.

Should have listened to the reviews online. One of the worst sandwiches I’ve ever had. Barely any meat on my Cuban.2 super thin slices No pickles all I could taste was what I think was cheeZe whiz and barely any fries for 12 bucks. Had no flavour what so ever. . Such a disappointment . . Not worth the money at all. And the guy wasn’t even Cuban to top it all off.
